Cassidy C. Evans

Cassidy giggled and rolled her eyes at Caden's impression of Blake's imaginary declaration. "Caramel children? You have quite the vocabulary, Miss Reese" Cass said through another giggle. Her giggles stopped as she spotted Dylan and Avangeline. This wasn't good... Cass gave an awkward wave to them both, though she wasn't familiar enough with Avangeline to address her. "Hey Dylan... Hi Blake..." Cass said quietly. When Avangeline asked why Caden waslooking at them a certainway, she glanced at Caden's face. "Oh! Yeah, she has resting b-face". Cass winced. 'Smooth' she thought to herself.

When Caden suggested a swim, Cass internally face-palmed. She really did t want to go swimming. Swimming was a horrible idea. It would make her hair all curly and she had slaved away all morning to get it straight. Cassidy raised a brow as Caden wrapped her arms around the other girls' necks.

Callie smiled as she recieved many texts from most of her friends and the people that would be tagging along with the trip. As much as she would have loved to reply to their individual texts, she slid her phone back into the back pocket of her shorts and got up, stretching. Best to get out of there now that she had everything checked and in hand. She may as well introduce herself to the friends that she had not seen for a whole year.

Heading outside the cabin she had sneaked her way inside, she strolled down the muddy pathway and to the outdoor gathering where everyone would be. All they did for the first day of camp was chill and introduce ourselves to people that just joined or are looking to make new friends. There was no need of that this summer.

Strolling through the kids as the camp director continued her speech on this summer, Callie spotted a familiar face, then another. And another.
"Finally." She grinned and jogged her way over towards them, "Hey guys!" Waving her hands at the group of girls, she smiled. "I see you've already gotten comfortable with eachother. Well - that's good, 'cause we're gonna be living with eachother under a roof for six whole weeks." She nodded her head at them while saying this in a much more quieter voice just for the group to hear.

Arriving at the camp quite later than the others, Nicky quickly unbuckled her seatbelt and got out the car.
"Dammit! Late.. once again." She muttered and ran her hand through her hair. Her father got out the car in a hurry also, opening the trunk to grab the young girls bags, handing them to her. "Go honey, go! Quick before they close the gates." Pushing the young teenager towards the entrance, Nicky nodded and followed her fathers instructions; walking hurriedly to the entrance.

"Wait, wait!" The blonde called out as she saw the people packing up their papers to head to the gathering. "I'm sorry I'm late." She breathed out as she stood in front of the desk, leaning onto it to catch her breath. "My name... is... Nicky.. Nicky Marks." She nodded her head and ran her hand through her hair, finally managing to speak out her name. "Whoo! Am I tired or what?" Laughing, she gave the lady a smile. "This doesn't seem like your first time being late, hmm, Miss. Marks?" The lady asked her with a raised eyebrow as she pointed to the direction of the gathering. Nicky nodded her head, "Got it."

Dragging her heavy bag behind her, Nicky walked inside the gates and made her way to the outdoor gathering. She could already hear the high pitched voice of the ginger camp director they had. The first person Nicky started to look for was her older cousin, Callie, considering she was the one who came up with the idea to head to Hawaii to spend their six weeks in their summer house. It wasn't an all bad idea. They had cars there and the house was...
huge. Sighing as Nicky searched with her eyes for the red tinted black haired girl, she frowned. Where the hell could she be? She pulled out her from her pocket only to realise she had recieved a text from not only Callie but her father.

Callieeee
them
Guys, text me if you're here or on your way.
me
I'm here. They've started the introduction.

Deciding to check her fathers text later, she shoved the cellphone back into her pocket and headed towards an empty bench to take a seat to listen in on the woman. Yeah, her bags were loaded and heavy. It wasn't exactly as if she was going to carry them for the next couple hours till the bonfire.

After finding out which cabin Nicky was, she set her bags inside but didn't bother unpacking considering that she'd be leaving the camp soon. Casually strolling through the camp and glancing around her surroudings, she spotted Callie. her cousin, walking towards a group of girls.

Everything was going great. That was til Caden and Cassidy showed up. Sure, Dylan was friends with Cassidy, but Caden and Cassidy had a stronger bond. That meant that Cassidy was definitely on Caden's side. Dylan could already feel the tension in the air. Caden and Cassidy obviously didn't want Dylan and Ava there. Caden's fake smile, or resting bitch face (as Cassidy called it), definitely told the whole story, but frankly, Ava and Dylan didn't want the other two there as well.

She watched as Caden took back what she wanted to say, and made a pathetic excuse about swimming. It was obviously not what Caden came here to talk about, or Dylan. Dylan wasn't going to turn back and go swimming instead. It was now or never. She had to tell Blake about her feelings for him. She would keep getting friendzoned until she actually shared her feelings with him. Blake seemed to be completely oblivious of how Dylan felt for him, and she didn't plan to keep it that way for long.

"Uh sure... we can go swimming..." Dylan said to Caden. "But I actually came here to talk to Blake," she said continuing. "Um, Blake, I really need to talk to you. In private..." she said turning back to Blake.

"I'm pretty sure it can wait Dylan...right now we need to have fun you know...catch up on what everyone else has been doing... c'mon lets go get changed up and Blake you owe me a basketball rematch and I am not taking no for an answer..." She smiled grabbing Dylan and the other girls hands walking away from Blake's cabin. "Don't wait up for us either! We'll meet you at the lake! I'll text you when we get there!" And with that the girls were out of his sight.

Caden let go of the other girls hands before crossing her arms looking at Dylan.
"What's your deal Dylan? I know damn well you don't like Blake the way that I do...so spill it right now...and don't give me no bullshit..." Caden was pissed of now but she wasn't going to let them know so easily. "So talk...right now..."

Ava turned to Dylan, before rolling her eyes slightly and moving away. When Caden began to pull them away, she yanked her arm away and ran a hand through her hair. "I can't deal with this right now," she muttered as she turned and walked away, not really caring where she was going. She couldn't deal with all that drama at once and she just needed to get away. She silently began to head back in the direction of her cabin as she allowed her thoughts wander.

She was friends with both girls, yet they seemed to hate each other over a guy. Wow. This was going to be an interesting summer. She moved away from the crowds of people and kept her eyes down as she kicked the dirt. The only thing that kept her from running into someone was the sight of shoes. Her eyes snapped up and a nervous, shy grin came to her face. "Oh...I'm sorry..." She said softly as she stuffed her hands in her pockets. "I didn't mean to almost run into you..."

Blake noticed the urgency in Dylan's eyes and tilted his head a bit. "Sure, come on in," he said as he moved aside. However, he barely even moved when Caden pulled everyone off practically against their will. He stood there dumbfounded before shaking his head a bit.

He finally found his legs and followed after them, the curiosity of what Dylan had wanted to say taking over him. When he approached, he couldn't help the first statement that left his lips. "Caden, why would you pull them off like that? I actually wanted to hear what she had to say," he said with a small frown at her actions. He want mad at her but it did make him uncomfortable. "You can come back to my cabin if it really needs to be said in private," he said, turning his attention to Dylan, his curiosity finally peaked as he waited to see what she wanted to do.

Caden's eyes widened at what Blake said and slowly backed away. She was disgusted with him now, almost all hopes of being with him were slowly disappearing. "I gotta go..." She mumbled turning around walking away, she needed something to hit and fast before she snapped at all of them. All she saw was red and having an outburst wasn't going to make things better. She wanted to go and curl up in a ball and just cry, her heart was broken...again. But this time it hurt way more.

Caden was able to get away from the other and decided to go into the forest where she could just scream. She stopped in front of a tree and sighed before climbing the branches all to about half way. When she wanted privacy or to release her anger she came to this exact tree and sat on the same branch she always sits on.

Right now her head hurt and so did her heart. She wanted to go home now but it was too late she needed to face the fact that Blake isn't into her and that she can never look at him the same way or in general period. Closing her eyes she drifted off into dreamland hoping to forget about this entire day.

"Yeah, Blake, I'll meet you in a few minutes!" Dylan called over her shoulder while being dragged by Caden. She couldn't believe Ava left her alone with Caden, but she didn't exactly choose to come with her.

After being dragged for a bit and having to constantly roll her eyes, Dylan stood in front of Caden waiting for her to finish what she had to say. She looked at Caden raising an eyebrow. "Sorry, what? What did I ever do to you?" she asked Caden slightly confused. She crossed her arms and looked sternly at her. "Are we seriously doing this right now? I'm not sure if you know, but its extremely obvious that you like Blake. But guess what? Your not the only one that likes him," she said, her eyes narrowing.

"And why do you have a say in how I feel about Blake? You don't know anything about me, and you aren't going to stop me from doing what I need to do. So, you can go ahead and go swimming or whatever, but I have a few things to take care of," she said glaring at Caden. With that being said, Dylan left Caden and made her way to Blake's cabin, once again. She watched as Caden ran away crying. Dylan wasn't sure why she was so upset, but it obviously wasn't her fault.

"Hey..." she said knocking on the door frame of Blake's cabin. "Sorry about earlier.... Caden dragged me somewhere so she could.... talk to me?" Dylan said trying to explain what happened. She wasn't exactly sure of what happened between Caden and herself, but she really needed to talk to Blake. "Anyway, can I come in? I need to talk"

Cassidy C. Evans

Cass saw Callie and gave her a small smile, "Hi Callie". She looked between the group and decided it'd be best to get Callie out of the immediate vicinity. "Callie? Wh don't you uh... Go talk to Leon! He doesn't want to go anymore and I think you could convince him". Cass smiled at her friend and then returned her attention to the very bad situation at hand. Cassidy frowned at Caden's confrontation. She loved her friend, but she thought that was a bit too much, but then again, her and Caden were very different people. Caden was all for saying what was on her mind while Cassidy chose to avoid confrontation. She shook her head and gave Blake and Dylan an apologetic look before heading after Caden. "Caden! Caden!" she tried to catch up to her friend but simply couldn't. She stopped as Caden climbed the tree and leaned against it, dragging in air. "Gosh I'm out of shape... Caden? Come down" She stood under the tree until she heard no more sobs meaning Caden probably fell asleep. "Crap".

Leon A. Evans

Leon blinked in confusion as he was bumped into. He grabbed the person's arms gently to steady them incase they were knocked off balance by his neglect to watch where he was going. "Oh, it's fine, don't worry about it". When he saw it was Ava, he smiled and pulled her into a quick hug. "Ava! Hi, sorry for bumping into you. Are you alright?" He looked her over before releasing his friend. He hoped she wouldn't bring up the trip. He didn't want to have to tell her that he wasn't going. He wanted as little people mad at him as possible.

AJ was pleased at Matt's vocal approval of what she said. Good he was listening. However, she wasn't really to anybody else, because one thing came to her mind. "Damn, I think I just abandoned TJ as normal. Oh well, he can hold out his own!~" She stuck out her tongue, making a very devilish face. "How have youuu been, Matty boy?" She chimed tilting her head and raising an eyebrow while looking up at him. She pressed the button on her phone repeatedly that locked it and unlocked it. Damn, besides the group near them stirring and whatnot, some people walking off and coming back here and there, Aj was growing bored and wanted some action.

Aj then made a face. "You feel that? I dunno, never mind, the air feels kind of tense..."

TJ sighed, already starting to feel comfortable, eyes lidding. He hadn't felt relaxed since this whole week of ... Yes, worrying. His eyes flickered at Peter's feet tapping, and he could kind of guess what he was going to say next. It's been the talk of the camp friends, why wouldn't it be?

He nodded sharply. "Of course I'm going, I probably have no where else to stay at and seem like I'm at camp anyways. Not like I know a lot of people, really." He shrugged one shoulder. "Judging by your foot's oncoming drum career, you're coming as well?" He asked back. Hey, just wanted to make sure. And he silently hoped for a yes, eyes batting a little impatiently. Say yes Peter... Say yes....

Avangeline squealed as she felt Leon hug her though she gladly returned it. Laughing ever so slightly, she pulled away and watched him with a raised eyebrow. "I'm fine. I promise," she said with a small laugh as she crossed her arms. Her smile slowly faded as she remembered what the rumor was about him.

"I need to talk to you about this trip and why you're not going," she said as she frowned a bit at him. "I wanna know why and I'm gonna convince you to go," she promised as she walked around behind him and hopped on his back. "And you're gonna give me a piggyback ride whole you explain yourself," she added with a giggle as she held onto him.

Blake had gone back to his cabin and laid on his bed with a sigh. He hated making Caden run off like that considering they were supposed to be friends but what she had done was over the top. He sighed once more and shook his head a bit. He wondered what was wrong with her but he barely had time to form the thought when he heard a knock on his doorframe.

Looking over and seeing Dylan, he sat up and tucked his guitar away back into his case as he formed a smile. "Yea come on in," he said as he moved so she had room to sit down as well. "Sorry about earlier...I don't know what got into her..." He admitted as he watched her carefully. "Anyways what did you want to talk to me about?" He asked with obvious confusion, still having no clue.

Caden opened her eyes and looked down at Cass and her heart constricted again. She was so embarrassed she didn't want nobody to talk to her but Cass is an exception. She sighed and climbed down the tree then looked at her with puffy lavender eyes. "I am a wimp...and that slut doesn't deserve him...I hate my life and I don't want to be here anymore..." Caden told her the tears not stopping.

"And you're not out of shape you look perfect..." She sighed and placed her head on Cass shoulder. "I should have told him last summer we were here...now Blake is going to be with Slutty Dylan and I will have a broken heart again...I want to go home..." She mumbled as more tears fell from her face. "I don't think I can be friends with Blake anymore...and the next time I see him it's over between us..."

Running a hand through her hair, Callie stood there in confusion. Everything that just happened between everyone went by too fast for her to even say anything. Looks like this was going to be an interesting summer. Turning to Cassidy, Callie opened her mouth to say something but the girl got there before she could. She stayed there for a couple moments, staring at the space where Cassidy no longer was.
"Wait, what was that about Leon not coming?" She asked to no one in particular.

Turn around, Callie headed off to go and find Leon.
'Time to do some convincing.' She thought to herself with a small nod. She brushed away what just happened a couple moments ago and put convicing Leon to come on the top of her to-do list. Of course, the to-do list in her head.

After Callie spent the next ten minutes or so trying to find the cute male, she finally spotted him. Along with Avangeline.
'No surprise there...' Sighing a little, she headed over to the two. It wasn't that she hated Avangeline, but made it so obvious that she liked Leon at times. It kind of got on her nerves but oh well - she didn't like making a huge deal out of it. Especially because Leon wasn't hers to get jealous and he never showed any affection towards her. Plus, Avangeline was a friend.

"Hey Leon! Hey Avangeline!" Callie called out to catch their attention as she waved at the two. She jogged over to the two with a smile, "What's this I hear about you not coming on the trip?" Questioning him with a raised eyebrow, she gave him a small playful nudge and crossed her arms as if she was angry - but of course, she could never really get angry at anyone.

After hearing Matt's response AJ asked him how he has been doing as of late.

"I've been fine, I just found this band called Three Days Grace it's not really my kind of music bu-" Matt stopped mid sentence because he realized he was just rambling about music like he did so often.

After Matt stopped talking AJ commented on how it felt tense. Matt felt it to, people were leaving and coming back. Matt wondered why, Blake entered his cabin with Dylan going in after him.

"Hey I'll be right back" Matt said to AJ and decided to go into Blake's cabin and ask what was going on.

Upon entry Matt heard Blake ask Dylan what she wanted to tell him.

"Whats goin' on, why is everyone acting so weird?" Matt interrupted.

Jabari Onyeka Mensah

"Cassidy! Where are you?" He called out for her. He kept walking until he was at the edge of the forest. He looked in and saw two figures, one at the bottom of a tree and the other one a little ways up the tree. "Cassidy?" As he got closer, he noticed that it was Cassidy. He sighed with relief and started walking faster towards her. "Christ Cassidy. Don't leave me like that. You know I have a hard time with..." He stopped in his tracks. When he saw Caden, his face became flushed red all over again. "Hey Caden. How's it going?" He tried to act cool, at least until he saw that she was crying. He became concerned almost immediately. "What's wrong? Did someone hurt you?" He got a little closer and stood on the other side of Caden.

Cassidy C. Evans

Cassidy sighed and shook her head. "Caden, you're letting your emotions cloud your judgment," Cass bit her lip. Caden usually listened to her as a voice of reason. Hopefully Caden still remembered that and didn't think that she was taking the other's side. She rapped an arm around Caden and pulled her down so they were both sitting at the base of the tree. She patted Caden's hand with her free hand. "You're not a wimp, Dylan isn't a slut, and I know you're hurting but, Caden... We're going to Hawaii" Cassidy put a bit of gentle enthusiasm into her voice to try to cheer her friend up. "You really like Blake, not only as a crush but as a friend. Do you really want to lose him?" After a moment of thinking, Cass continued, "Imagine if Dylan had come up to you the you came up to her. Would you be upset with Blake if he defended you the way he did Dylan? Because I guarantee you, honey. He would have done the same for you," she booped Caden's nose as she finished her sentence. Cass rolled her eyes and scoffed when Caden said she was perfect. "Please. I'm not even close to perfect," Cassidy offered another smile to her friend when Jaba arrived. She frowned and looked at him. "I'm sorry, it might not happen again," se sad with a small smirk, sill hoping to still make a very upset Caden smile. "She's just a bit upset..." Cass said, not knowing what Caden wanted him to know.

Leon A. Evans

Leon rolled his eyes. "Did Charlie tell you? Ugh. I should have just waited until you guys were leaving to bail out" he said with a playful grin on his face. When Ava jumped on his back, he grunted as if she was heavy, which she wasn't. "Aren't you a little old for piggy back rides?" He chuckled and lifted her a bit higher so she wasn't choking him and placed his hands underneath her knees to keep her secure. When he saw Callie he smiled, but it was quickly replaced with another groan when she mentioned why she was there. "Not you too!" he groaned. With a huff, Leon grumbled "Fine. Let's get on with it," he leaned in and let go of one of Ava's leg to hug Callie. "I would give you a better hug, but I have a monkey on my back," he said as he started walking. "I don't want to go because I really don't feel like being grounded until I go off to college".

Callie couldn't help but laugh slightly when he told her his reason as to why he wasn't coming,
"Really? So, you want to stay back at the camp rather than tag along with us lot to a niiiiice summer house?" Not to brag or anything about the summer house, but it was true. Anyone would have chosen the summer house over the camp no matter the reason - especially if you'd been there almost nearly all your life. Pushing asides her thought, Callie looked up at the boy. "Come on. Please come - it won't be as fun without you." She told him, and this time her voice was more sincere than playful.

"Plus, I already booked you a plane ticket. We wouldn't want that to go to waste, would we?" She asked, bringing back her playful voice as she continued - "You wouldn't want to miss out on Hawaii either, would you? Just imagine it... the nice hot weather and the sunset, cool slush puppies in hand and Hawaiian dances." Bringing up her hands, she waved them about to set the scene as she spoke. "Would you really want to miss out on that?" She raised an eyebrow at him and dropped her hands, crossing them once again as she stared at him.

Glancing back at Avangeline then Leon, she added on,
"And I bet most of the girls really want you to come. Right Avangeline?" She nodded her head at him, putting emphasis on the word 'really' as she asked her friend to back her up. "I bet the Hawaiian girls even want you to come." She added on randomly.

Caden wiped her eyes then smiled when Cass booped her on the nose. "...I guess you're right..." She sighed wiping her eyes again. "I really do like Blake but...we do have a strong friendship...I just thought...we could have been something more..." She whispered then slowly shook her head. "I don't care anymore...I just want to go Hawaii and just go to sleep...forever..."

Caden looked up and saw Jabari walk over to them looking worried she put on one of her genuine smiles.
"I'm fine Jaba...nothing you need to worry about..." she told him before holding Cass hand tight. "Alright let's go..."

Annie J. Matthews

Annie finally managed to push her way through the crowd. At the sight of openness she dropped her bags and exhaled, shaking her head in disbelief at the group of people. At least they actually want to be here. Annie thought to herself. After carrying her bags she decided to indeed go find her cabin and put them away, not unpack or anything, just put them down and give her aching arms a bit of a break. Annie began seeing many familiar faces of Dylan, Cassidy, Caden, Blake and a few others, but most of them were already in groups having what looked to be pretty hostile conversations. Annie decided that she would give them all her hellos later when everyone seemed to be in betters spirits. We just got here and they already look like they hate each other. Annie thought. Hawaii was going to be interesting, that was for sure.

Keeping to herself Annie continued the walk to her cabin alone. She loved being with people, she really did and she would never purposely choose being alone, but after spending most of her life being alone it was just habit. And there was less drama when alone, and drama was really avoided at all costs when it came to Annie. She had enough of it in her family life and she hated it.

"Hey mister, why don't you pick on someone your own size?"

Parker immediately recognized the voice. He put the kid on his back down and turned around to face one of his best friends, Jordan Alexandria Singletary, or Alex as he called her. Quickly wrapping his arms around her, he picked her up and swung the girl around. "Aleeeexxx," Parker laughed. "I've missed you so much." He then set the girl down and held her in a head lock. "How've you been?"

He soon released the girl from his grip because she continued to attack him. This was basically a tradition for them ever since they met the summer of their freshmen year. It was Alex's first year and she had gotten lost right before the orientation meeting. Of course, she had stumbled upon a sleeping Parker. That was the start of their amazing friendship.

"Well, I'm great. Finally graduated high school," Parker said as he made room for the girl to stand beside him. He leaned in and asked in a hushed tone, "Are you excited for the trip?"

Alex laughed at Parker's reaction to her "hello". She loved the way he spun her around it gave her rush. But putting her in a head lock was his mistake. This was a common thing for them to joke around and play fight. She missed him every time they had to leave for the summer. His texts wasn't enough for her she needed to be with him. Maybe she would get to pronounce her feelings for him without any problems.

" Thats great me to! Number one in my class!!!" Alex exclaimed while getting close to him to lean her head on his shoulder. She whispered " Of course I am Bighead...It's better then this place."

Avangeline smiled widely as she held onto Leon tightly though she was careful not to choke him. Seeing Callie come up, she smiled widely and looked down at her as she spoke. She remained silent throughout her rant until she finished.

"Yea what she said! You can't just not come. I mean come on. Would you rather take the risk and go off to Hawaii with all your friends for a summer of fun or would you rather be bored here just so you can be bored at your house?" She asked as she looked down at him with a playful smile. "Callie has a point," she said and shrugged her shoulders. "You should come with us," she added with a grin though she left out the whole thing about the Hawaiian girls.

Dylan smiled and made her way into his room. She took a seat next to him on his bed. "Yeah, I'm still not exactly sure why she decided to drag me over like that, but it was.... unnecessary," she said. She didn't want to keep the topic on Caden, and she had to cut to the point.

"So anyway, what I wanted to talk about was.... was about us," she said slipping a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I'm not sure if you knew, but I like you, and I mean, I really... like you," she said biting her lip. There wasn't any other way she knew how to put it. She wasn't asking for a relationship. Dylan was simply just trying to share her feelings with him. She took a deep breath. It was bit hard to say. She didn't want to sound desperate, and she was definitely not asking to be more than friends.

"God, I have no idea how else I can put this. But, I just wanted to tell you how I
really feel. I mean, I feel different around you. Your really sweet, and I think of you as ... more than a friend," she said placing a feminine hand on his arm.

Peter raised an eyebrow at TJ's comment. Well, at least he wasn't friends with a boring person who didn't know how to joke. Boy, would his life be boring at camp. But he guessed this was one of the reasons he liked TJ and crushed on him. The guy made him feel so happy at times. But really, he didn't want to think about his crush. He felt like he was one of those girls from those cliche romantic shows on TV.

"Of course I'm coming. Don't wanna be alone here, right?" he said, offering a smile. "Plus, kind of guessed you guys would come, too." He didn't directly meet his eyes then. He didn't want to seem clingy. Only after a few seconds did he look at TJ again.

Then he stopped the tapping of his feet. He really did appear nervous, didn't he? He really hated his habits.

Blake watched Dylan carefully as he tilted his head, listening to her express her feelings. When she finished, he looked down at her hand on his arm as he slowly made all the connections. "Ohhh.... Damn," was all he managed to say as he began to think.

"Look, Dylan, Caden and I are really good friends, and I don't want to mess that up with her..." He said before running a hand through his hair. "But we're really good friends too. And I'm willing to give us a try if you think you can at least act civilized around her. I don't want to tarnish two friendships in the making. I'd definitely like to try though but you have to agree that if it doesn't work out, we'll still be friends," he said as he looked down at her with a small smile.

He knew when he finished talking that he would have to fix things with Caden. He didn't want their friendship to be ruined because of how oblivious he was. He had to admit, Caden was definitely attractive, but to be honest, he saw her more of as a sister figure and a best friend. He knew he could talk to her about things that guys can't normally talk to their girlfriends about. He just hoped that they could be civil around each other.

Watching the two girls turn and leave again made Jaba slightly irritated. "Don't leave me again." He began to follow them and walked beside them. "I'm sorry Caden, but I can't just let you leave without an explanation. I know you're hurt and I want to help. A friend of Cassidy's is a friend of mine. Maybe. Hopefully." He gave her a smile. He hasn't been this nice to someone in a long time. Maybe it was because he had a crush on Caden. He didn't know, but he felt genuine concern for her. Perhaps he wasn't as negative as he thought. "I guess we're going to your room. When we get there, you need to tell me what's going on. It'll probably hurt, but you will feel better afterwards." He put a reassuring hand on Caden's shoulder as the three of them walked.
