In the deep of space, there is a being. it is made of pure darkness, and pure evil. It's name strikes darkness into the hearts of those who hear it. It has been feared for many Eons, and after building up it's army of shadows, it has emerged.


It's name, is THE DARK EYE!


The Dark Eye has made he shadows, and now seeks to take over more than his share of the Galaxy. The massive Black hole will conquer the entire universe, if there's no one to stop it.


So the kingdoms of the Realms and planets have gathered together to create an alliance of men and women, children and elders. they are known as...

DMWs are people that control the very flow of darkness, and are most powerful in space, where darkness thrives.


DMWs can generate Dark matter on the planets as well, and can fly using it.


they are similar to the green lanturns in almost every way. they can create, lift, and use things made of shadow. for instance, they can make swords where they are in a flash, or make large vehicles.


the DMWs are truely a massively destructive force, however they can sometimes have defects. one DMW, stands out from all others. not for her power, but for her weakness. she can only generate from her hands, but that makes her train twice as high. on the scale of most powerful, she ranks 50th, but on potential, she ranks first.


in this RP, there are not just DMWs, no. there are many other types of people fighting The Dark Eye.


Pheonixes, Swordsman, Elementals, Wizards, Gods, golems, and ordinary humans.


yes, you can be anything you want, you don't just have to be a DMW. so just pick something, and fill out the Character Skeleton in the CSU.


back to the story, the war is about to start. the army's first line is lined up. 10,560 men strong, against 2,000,000,000 shadow warriors. and in just this first battle, the army is going to start the Great shadow war, and it will last for 5 years, so let's make every fallen man, every fallen shadow, every blade thrown, every bullet shot, every incantation said, every claw swiped, and every battle count!


THIS WAR WILL NOT REST IN THE HANDS OF THE DARK EYE WILL IT? NO IT WILL END WITH THE FORCES OF THE KINGDOMS AND REALMS! FIGHT WITH ME MY FELLOW SWORDSMEN, MY FELLOW WIZARDS, AND WE WILL NOT REST UNTIL THIS BATTLE IS WON!

hello everyone! i do belive we are ready to start now, if you have not created a character yet, please do so, i am going to go ahead and list the order in which everyone will be posting, just so that things don't get out of hand.

these are all the registered RPers for The Great Shadow War. if you have not created a character yet, it is highly advised, and will be much appreciated.

without further ado, we'll begin!


 
"come on! 4 hours! i've been waiting to kill something since breakfast!" he said stretching impatiently. "or was it dinner?" he thought. they both taste the same, so what's the difference? he said yawning... "say, Steph, you got those wall up yet?" he asked, putting a black swirling portal up beside him.


meanwhile, Stephane was sitting, and instructing some men as they built up light walls to keep the shadow sentries out. "say, Steph, you got those wall up yet?" she heard Tato's voice coming from the black swirling portal beside her. "no, the idiot in command of this operation didn't start them 6 hours beforehand like they should have!" she said, scolding Tato for his laziness.


Jenica paced back and forth in her office at the medical section of the Trenches. she was impatient, and not in a good way. she hated the thought of seeing men come back with black chests and arms from being encased, punched, or chewed on by one of those creatures that ran around nearby. she had to heal a few of the spys earlier, but they had to distrubute an emergency device that teleported you back to the medical section for every single soldier, including support class like herself... she kept getting more, and more anxious, and she eventually tripped on her white cloak, and tumbled to the ground.


"wait a minute!" Smite said holding up his hand, stopping the sweating snipers from shooting. smite was looking through binoculars at the large mass of blackness across the way. "Colonel Kolins! if we move the troops towards the center of the battlefield in an hour, we can meke it there by the time they do. they look about ready to move now!" smite told his small device that transmitted a signal to Tato.


"waiting... waiting... waiting... waiting..." Teagen chanted as he cradled his knees in a corner of a tent. "Waiting for the killing... men will die today... 200 at least... maybe more, maybe less than more..." he said, his eyes wide and red, "NO! can't wait! not enough happiness!" he said jumping up quickly. "you need happy mister demigod-kun-san!" he told himself as he began to do jumping jacks.


chirp sat and watched Teagen's ravings... she silently watched him dash around in his mind, talking to himself without talking to himself and ordering himself to speak about talking to himself for introducing his grandmother's... and it goes on and on... the man's mental state was so confusing it made no sense even in his mind, if he had one left... chirp sat in the room right beside Jenica's office, and she heard a thump. "Major?" she asked Jenica as she heard the crash.


(i just remembered i can't use my other characters until stephane goes away...)

"No, no Melody you are using the wrong spell." said Melody's teacher said as he had to take out a book and show the correct spell to the young girl. "If you want to grow stronger, you'll have to focus more." he said as he then pointed to a target. Melody had been training all day trying to become stronger so she could fight in the wars that men were fighting in. Looking to the target her teacher was pointing at she held her hands out and waited for an ice shard to form. As the shard formed, the end of it became sharper, sharp enough to cut straight through a being. Aiming, she then threw the shard as if it were a baseball and watched it pick up speed before hitting the center of the target. "YES!" she scream as she stood there proud of herself.


She stood there before turning to see if she had her teachers approval, but he was talking to another element wizard. He seemed concerned and then serious. Melody stood there confused, what was going on? Her teacher soon returned to her and was about to continue on with Melody's training, but she interrupted. "What's going on? Did I break something!?" she asked panicked, last time she trained she broke a vase when her shard had too much speed and hadn't formed quick enough, for when she threw it, it bounced all around the room before up the stairs of the training grounds and up to the main library where classes went on. "No, no Melody, just that the men who are fighting the war are becoming weaker as to the darkness is over taking their limbs and incasing them, leaving them useless until healed. In other words the army is depleting." said her teacher as he shooked his head.


Melody was a bit terrified, if she got to fight, would she loose her life out on the battlefield? The though caused her to shiver before turning to the target. "Well, I'm going to join the army whether they like it or not, and I'm going to be stronger than any man out there," she said determined before forming another shard and aiming. Within seconds she threw it and the target itself blew to shreads from the force the shard hit it with. "and that's a promise."

Dalin looked up from his meditation, considering what he should do next. The last few weeks had seen him traveling incredible distances via spaceship in order for him to fill out his mercenary contract. He had been hired by a high ranking member in the military in order to fight some kind of shadows... Didn't make much sense to him, so he spent those weeks in meditation. He finally deduced that he was getting paid too much for this. As he was about to get up for a meal, the almost starved mercenary stumbled as the ship landed with a loud creaking sound of metal grinding against more metal, making him cringe deeply, covering his ears. His ship had landed, and so he rushed to make and eat his meal. By the time he had finished his meal, Dalin decided to go take a look outside. He spotted a member of staff, and asked for directions. His contractor told him to find... 'Jenica', and so he was directed toward her office. As he was about to knock on the door, he paused, lowered his fist and simply called into the room instead. "Hello? I have been hired to help out with things here... My contractor didn't give me a name, but told me to find you, I believe the contract said I would be expected to do more than fight, as in helping out with training, construction, and any other chores..." His voice was confident and a little bit childish, not as authoritative as usual due to him being distracted, looking at his armour. "If you expect me to come in... I can't open doors gently..." He said, sounding a little ashamed.

Rayischo sits on the ground, licking his Claws "So...who's next?" He said to a bunch of Shadows towards him. "I asked something!" He said, vanished and kill the shadows. After he killed them he falls to the ground and spits a bit blood. He stands up while Blood flows out his mouth and ge saw the wound on his chest. "Dang..." He stands up and goes to the HQ.


"Man...I need help... my wound won't stop to bleed and I can't feel my arms" He said while Blood flows out his mouth. "How much blood flows out my mouth?" He said and laughed "when more flows out my mouth and my wound, I'm dead before I reach the HQ"

 

[The Hollowed]

Len was working on his mecha fixing it up before the war he was so tiny compared to it well he was small compared t a person but that didn't matter he would still kick most of the people's asses here with ease and continued working on it and got into the cockpit turning it on it was a special kind of mecha built by him so it's one of a kind and he started working on the sensitivity of the controls.


While he was working he said "wow this baby rides great" *nyaa* and continued working on the mecha in camp.

"quite right. i had something to do, so i got up and ended up using the latrine..." Tato said with a nervous laugh. "i know, i should've been more responsible, it's just that-" Tato said trying to apologize, but he was cut off.


"Like hell you need to be more responsible! what happens if someone angers that shadow and they start heading this way now? they're just about 20 miles off, but they can scale that in half an hour!" she said complaining about the shadow's ability to travel at just about 100 miles an hour, or the speed of darkness.


Jenice sat up, sitting on the floor, rubbing her head. "ouch... that left a mark i'm sure..." she said trying to get up...


"sir, i'm afraid you'll get your wish! the shadow are headed this way now! we need to move the troops in right now! something must've set them off!" smite said contacting Tato. "you should get the Commanding Officer!" he said, giving Tato a friendly word of advice


Teagen ignored this, and continued his fun jumping jacks. "Come in mister Shadelance! Don't be shy, the door'll be gone once the battle's over anyway, so you might as well break it down now!" he said, with not a hint of tiredness in his voice.


Chirp came inside. "Doctor Jenica! are you alright?" she asked, helping Jenica stand up.

Melody and her teacher walked up the stairs to the library to wait out on something. Information. Melody was going to be assigned a few task that would take place inside and outside for a grade of part of her studies to test her abilities. Based on how bad and how wuickly the shadows and darkness are moving is if she'll be able to take on the tasks, as for it can be quite dangerous. As she waited, Melody read a book on the history, or known history of the darkness hoping something in her book will help.


Her teacher quickly walked around. He seemed nervous and uneasy so Melody decided to question why he seemed like that. "Mr. Linon, what's wrong?" she asked as she looed at him from her seat. "Huh? Oh its nothing." he said reassuringly. Melody would not take that as an answer so she asked again and this time her teacher didn't hold back. "I taught your mother when she was very young so I've known your family for a good long time. When they died, it was asked of me to watch over you, so if I loose you to the darkness it just won't be all that pleasant." he said trying to explain the consequences to Melody. Though it didn't really work as for she smiled and looked at her teacher. "Don't worry, I'm not dying to such creatures, I'll kill them all!" she said energetically. "Oh dear..." mumbled her teacher as he watched his determined studnet demonstrate how she would kill her opponent.

Dalin thought for a moment, before giving a sigh and opening the door. The handle was crushed by his bare hands and the whole door was torn off it's hinges with ease. "S-sorry about that, I can fix it!" He was apologizing, despite Teagen's reassurance. "So, where is 'Jenica' if you don't mind me asking? I was told to find her by my contractor." He was still unsure who it was that contracted him in the first place, but he was determined to do his job. Even if the only payment he is getting was notoriety. His only say in the contract that he wanted, was to have no money, but to be better known. Then a thought crossed his mind, he looked down at the miniature suit of armour he carried, before dismissing the thought as nothing and putting it away in his pocket.

Eco walks around in the Headquarter. She looks very serious. A man shouted " Hey Lady! Nice bu-" the man stopped to talk as he saws Eco's look. She continues to walk, looking for Rayisho.


"Rayisho! I searched you a long time!"


Rayisho smirks at Eco.


"Don't smirk at Me! It's war! You have to be more serious" she yelled at Rayisho.


"Calm down, Eco-chan" Rayisho said and pats her head. "I don't feel very well." He added.

"they what?" Tato exclaimed. "fine. sound the alarm! " he shouted pressing a button. there were big speakers that began to speak. "All troops advance. the shadow are moving in fast. all pesonnel attend to the battle, repeat, attend to the battle." the person on the speakers barked.


"forget the light wall! the war's about to start!" stephane said running into the crowd of hurried soldiers with their guns, their staffs, their swords ready for battle. "all right! time to let out some anger!" stephane shouted running in the same direction as the fast tall people.


"yeah, i'm fine..." Jenica said hearing the alarm. "ok Chirp, Teagen, we need to get things ready!" she shouted walking towards the area of the room with the beds for patients waiting to be healed, and sent back off imidiately.


Smite jumped up at the alarms, and since he was already by the front of the trenches, he ran towards the large feild where the shadow rushed in. he went ahread and grabbed his large sword, and left his sheild on his back. "time to kick some shadow ass!" he said.


"nope it's fine. anyway, Jenica's in there." Teagen said, stopping his fun and hurrying towards the room.


Chirp nodded. "Yes mam!" and she walked with Jenica to the room.

"are you ready your highness? Your mother, the queen, is held up. so she said you should handle the last minute negotiations..." King John asked the young figure sitting in a chair with her back turned. she had long red hair, and green tatoos on her skin that shone.


"i'm ready. i trust mother's judgement." she said standing up, showing off her black tunic.


the shadow rushed in, and the lead negotiator sent by the dark eye himself ran towards the trenches.

Melody had been halfway into her terrible, but well thought out demonstration when she heard loud speakers, or what sounded like it. She stopped what she was doing and looked around as some of the students there also did so. Many teachers came in rushing the students down tot he training grounds, Melody being on of them. "What's going on!?" she asked a fellow student. "A war just began, the staff are afraid our side won't be strong enough to defend this time and that some shadows might get through and cause chaos." she said.


The teachers asked for every students to activate one of their guards spells and to do it all at the same time to create a strong force field. One the count of three the students did so, and they weren't panicking, they seemed mature about it. They were concerned. Melody's teacher came running down the stairs to meet up with the other teachers. He spoke to them, but Melody couldn't hear the conversation. After he had finished all the teachers nodded before rushing back upstairs. "What was that about?" Melody asked before a male student answered. "They're going to put a force field around the structure to protect it." he said. Not only was she cornered, but Melody was also afraid. "Please everyone, make it back safe." she said quietly as all the students did a countdown before activating their spells to create another layer on the force field in hopes nothing would go wrong.

As Rayisho heared the alarm he looks very Happy. "Finally!" He jumps over the soldiers. "I want to ram my Claws first in the shadows! It'll be so much fun!" He starts to laugh and a cold Aura surrounds him.


"You idiot! Rayisho wait!" Eco said and follows Rayisho.


"I'll ram my Claws, Claws, Claws! In these Shadows, Dows, Dows! I'll maybe take an arm, arm, arm! I know, this is going to be much fun, fun, fun!" Rayisho sings, while he jumps over the heads of the soldiers.
