A psychic fire began to burn inside the being, damageing it from within. Danny picks up the katana and casts a blessing on it. Then he charges forward and jumps high up. Using gravity he swings down the sword hard. The sword leaves a nasty gash on it's body and Danny jumps back to prepare another strike.

The injury on Veronica is surprisingly small for a strike like that...

(Hold it didn't you read what happened only a reapers scythe can effect the lost legion)


The lost legion didn't react to Danny as it prepared to eat Veronica

Veronica sucked in a big breath and screamed as loud as she could at the lost legion she started to glow brightly, from her pure spirit it burned the legion

 

[Alaster Von Grim]

The lost legion dropped Veronica as it howled in pain. Alaster flew past her grabbing her out of the air.


"How did you do that, it was amazing"

Veronica blinked twice and the glow went away she saw she was in Alaster arms " Do what? " she asked

 

[Alaster Von Grim]

"You started to glow and the legion just let you go"

"My magic.... I didn't work.... This is nothing like any other spirit I've fought...."


Danny takes the energy he was using for the fire and channels it into healing Veronica instead, not wanting it to be wasted.

Veronica looked at her hand confused then glanced to the legion she shuddered and looked back to Alaster

 

[Alaster Von Grim]

Alaster landed and let Veronica down


"OK, you stay here. I'm going to do something stupid, Amy I need my scythe"


Alaster said as he flew off

Veronica nodded and looked back to the lost legion, she glanced to Alaster " What are you going to do? "

 

[Alaster Von Grim]

Alaster flew over to Amy and took his scythe from her then flew straight at the legion. It screamed at Alaster, he flew straight down it's throat

Danny cast a spell on the scythe to amplify its already prevalent powers by a significant margin. It would soon reveal to have made all the difference.

 

[Alaster Von Grim]

The legion coughed and started to twitch before I collapsed dead, it's face landed in front of Veronica.

Veronica gasped and stumbled back, she fell and moved away from the corpse

"Can I give it a funeral? It's a special way to dispose of evil bodies from my lands"

 

[Alaster Von Grim]

Alaster slices open it's throat from the inside and stumbles out covered in slime


"That was the most disgusting thing I've ever done"


He says as he wipes slime off his face

Veronica teleported to him then grabbed him and teleported away with him she looked him over worried she asked quickly " Are you OK? "

 

[Alaster Von Grim]

"Well I smell like a dumpster and I feel like I'm going to need to shower for a week but other than that I'm fine"


Alaster said as he continued to scrape slime off himself

Veronica smiled a bit and giggled she started to glow again as she hugged him tightly, eyes closed, the slime evaporated off him and the corpse of the legion started to bubble and melt from her glow... She was very happy

Alaster hugged her back as he thinks


"There's that light again, it's so warm and gentle"

Veronica didn't even seem to notice the light and once it was gone she pulled away and smiled up at Alaster she giggled " well at least now you have bragging rights to say you took down a legion "

 

[Alaster Von Grim]

"Yeah but I'm not going to run out and hunt them down to do that again"


Alaster giggled

Veronica tilted her head frowning slightly, her hair fell away from her beautiful face " Sorry I wasn't much help "
