The Forgotten Forest

Sky's body was too relaxed to wake up from his slumber normally he would eventually wake up from being too hot but she kept him cool and relaxed. His ears twitched a little as a bird began to chirp at the window and his eyes slowly began to open the sun glistening on them making the blue glow slightly as he yawned a little.

Miyuki was awake when Sky yawned, but she didn't want to wake up. She had this nice dream where she kissed sky on the lips for a short while. She opened her eyes, got up for a while and then lay down on top of him, making her self comfortable. "Good morning." She mumbled with her eyes closed

Sky's sword would slowly vanish from the end of the bed as he sat up holding her in his arms so she wouldn't fall as he moved. "Hey you." he smiled lightly rubbing his eyes. "How did you sleep?" He asked yawning heavily this time and cracking his back.

Miyuki clung to Sky's body, her arms around his neck. She still had her eyes closed, not wanting to let go.

"I had fun~" she mumbled quietly on his chest. "Beds are nice, I never had a bed before… or someone to sleep with."

He Laughed slightly."And what do you mean by had fun." He teased a little, "Yea we made this bed from one of our favorite animal hides so it should be fairly cozy. He stretched widely putting his arms as high as he could and sounding rather odd as he did so pushing all his muscles curves out making her being able to feel them before relaxing once more resting his arms around her.

The door to the inn swung open almost giving the inn keeper a heart attack instantaneously. Slowly Vaskar walked in through the doorway, closed the door behind him and stepped to the bar to sit on one of the ancient wooden stools. As the inns keeper watched him Vaskar carefully untied a small pouch of coins off his belt and pressed one silver Troy on the bar and held up a single finger. Without a word spoken between them the keeper acknowledged the request and poored him a half pint of light mead. As he slid it across the bar, dropping in a mint leaf he looked to Vaskar and broke the silence "My friend will you ever sleep lad?" Vaskar shook his head. "I shall sleep when my parents have justice for what was wrongfully done to my family."

The keeper sighed, set his cloth down and stepped out to Vaskar on the other side of the bar. As he reached out to rest his hand on Vaskar's shoulder he flinched at the caring touch. "I know you must do this lad, but it won't bring them back and killing yourself trying to find them won't help either. You need to loosen up and sleep for a change." The bartender half smiled. "You were way different when you were a wee lad my boy. You use to run around here acting all tough with the elders telling them imagined stories of how you fought a dragon before breakfast."

Vaskar looked to the keeper with an emotionless stare. "I'm different now for a reason." He finished his mead with that sentence and soon he'd gathered his gear and walked out of the inn. Into the day that was to come.

Sky was slightly confused by her answer but decided not to question her further about it seeing she seemed a little embarrassed to talk about it. He then stood and began to reach for his sword but quickly noticed it wasn't their. It slowly manifested itself already strapped to his back inside its sheath and continued to have a blue pulsing aura around it. He was slightly confused as to why his sword was gone, why he could feel the energy from it, and how long could this have been happening before he realized it. He rubbed his eyes once more before cracking his neck slightly feeling the freedom of his movement return with every crack that happened. He then looked back to her, "Were going to need a little supplies before we head out if i'm not mistaking near the bottom edge of the mountains there's a small village their we could go there before heading out." He said pondering everything they would need before heading out to find out more about her.

Vaskar yawned as he set by a fountain in the middle of town. Carefully he pulled from his pack. A map, apple and small pencil. As he carved slices off the apple, he took the pencil to x-out a location and circle another relatively close to the first on said map. Another location and no sign of the one he was searching for.

As dawn set upon the forest, a red sun rose above, filtering it's light through the dense foliage. In the shadows of the forest, a lone figure skulked about in the darkness of the early morning. Albion had been tracking a demon for three days, and his search had lead him to this village. Stepping out from the tree line, his pale skin glowing in the early light as he approached the village. "There will be blood this night. Be it yours hellspawn... or mine..." he said o himself as he made his way towards the tavern. He had been to this village a few times, to restock on supplies and to hear any news of trouble that may plague the settlement.

Stepping through the door, many of the patrons of the tavern looked upon him in a mixture of fear and awe, knowing that his presence typically meant trouble is impending. "I tracked a demon to this village. I would suggest staying indoors till it is dealt with." he said. Many of the patrons quickly paid for their drinks and meals and quickly left, heeding his words, while the rest stayed, not knowing who he is, and ignored him. Their life is not his to worry about if they refuse to listen.

Miyuki got off of him, openning her eyes, she smiled and nodded.

"Where are we going today?" She asked him. She wondered if they were going to the human's area, if that was the case, she needed a cloak.

He looked out the window for the tavern smoke that was normally visible from the cabin but he seen nothing. "Wonder if the towns doing alright." He mumbled to himself before turning back to her. "Were headed to a small village by the mountains to stock up on foods, medicines, and water. The tavern isn't lit though so maybe the demons finally got to it but lets not doubt them to much." He said beginning to walk out to the bridge of the tree house before looking back at her. "There's a jacket with a hood over there hanging up if you don't want to be seen by the humans." He never did understand why some demons hid from humans though now slowly becoming one he began to see why. He then pointed to the far right corner of the cabin at a hanger with three coats hung on the rack all of which were made by his uncle. He never told Sky the secret he used to getting them to be so soft but they were the only coats Sky ever wore if he ever needed to from the amazing feeling and comfort.

Miyuki nodded obediently and headed to the far right corner of the Cabin. She took the longest coat she could, trying to cover her light blue skin. She put the hood over her head, and was satisfied. She took her satchel from the foot of the bed and wore it on her, making sure that everything she needs is in there.

"I'm ready!" She beamed happily, waiting by the door

Makng his way towards the counter, he sat himself down, and slapped a couple silver pieces down. The barman knew him from visits past, and quickly handed him a room key and a mug of warm ale. "A demon you say? What class be it this time lad?" The barman asked generally concerned with the news. Minor demons they could handle, but greater demons were why people like Albion existed in the first place.

Taking a long pull from his mug, Albion looked the man in the eye and already the barman could understand it was bad. "Class Three." Albion replied casually. The barman paled at the news. A Class Four was bad enough to call Albion here, but a Class three was a different story.

"You'll be able to kill it right? Even with your... Special talents...." he said refering to Albion's talent with Sanguimancy.

Sky made sure everything was in check before he jumped over the bridge landing softly and quietly on the ground before walking towards the mountains. He did enjoy running often through the forest but he enjoyed to walk sometimes just to take it all in for once. The twist and turns of the tall trees changing the path with every root. The beautiful sounds the birds would make echoing all through the forest, and he even enjoyed hearing the dear by the water and wolfs at night howling in the distance.

The more he stayed out in the forest the more it felt like his real home to begin with. He could smell old dumped out beer not to far up ahead meaning they were close but he didn't hear the townsman and wondered where they could all be since the beer did smell rather fresh. The only reason he could tell was because his father had a drinking problem and he always smelled like this when he was a child, it annoyed him. He walked peacefully with his head down and eyes closed letting his long blue hair softly sway from side to side letting the little bolts of lightning flow down it freely before evaporating to repeat its process like normal. "What kind of adventure awaits us today." He quietly mumbled to himself.

Vaskar finished the apple as he adjusted the writing on the map in front of him. Soon he was satisfied and packed everything up to head to the nearest trader. He needed supplies for the journey ahead.

Miyuki lost Sky. She wandered alone, heading to the direction of the human village he talked about. She breathed in the fresh air, listened to the song of the wind.

"Sky?" She called. She was seeing things for the first time, Miyuki's never been to this part of the forest.

@ anyone who wants to find her
xD

Vaskar looked at the map as he walked along the trees. He wasn't sure which path to take just yet, either to the mountains or the lower lands. He folded up the map and walked on as he heard someone call out a name not too far from him. He turned in the direction of the noise. He thought for a few moments. Maybe someone was lost? After debating he decided and proceeded in the direction of the voice.

Sky hadn't noticed he lost Miyuki as he was too caught in his moment of peace. As he entered the town his aura though light to most would seem overwhelmingly dark for the humans though he figured his human self would be more than enough to hide his demon. As he walked he noticed the emptiness of the streets. He could hear the people whispering while looking out they windows but as he turned to look in their direction the windows would quickly shut before he could get his eyes to them. He didn't know how strong his aura was but he could feel the curse breaking with every day that passed him and knew that he would have to suppress the being himself at some point."Just like home I guess." He mumbled low to himself as he made his way to the beer taern wondering if the bar tender would remember the 'little brat' as he called him.

Miyuki walked mindlessly, she clutched her cloak tight, making sure her blue skin couldn't be seen.

"Sky?" She called again. But she ran into a stranger. She stopped walking. "Oh. Hello."
She looked down.

Albion was in mid pull on his second mug of ale, when he felt a rather dark aura. Turning towards the door he spotted a man around 17 or 18. Or so it's skin appeared to look. "Leave the room..." he said to the barkeep, whom noticed Albion's reaction. Without a word, he fled to the back room, bolting the lock. Standing from his seat, Albion drew a massive, wicked looking blade from it's scabbard. "A Demon out in broad daylight. You either have to be ballsy, or fucking stupid." Albion spat, the word demon dripping with vitriol. "I know not your intentions hellspawn, nor do i care, so I'll give you one chance to leave. The Villages are under my aegis." he explained, drawing the large blade across his palm. Red blood poured forth from the wound, and soon began to glow with melevolent energy. "Either leave now, or perish..."

Vaskar slowly walked along as he heard the voice echoe again and before he could react a figure came from around a tree and bumped into him. He almost jumped at the sudden appearance but relaxed. Shortly after a soft voice greeted him from this person. A girl he wondered why she was out all alone. He took a step back to examine her she was shorter then him no doubt. He almost gasped as he saw the light blue color of her skin and tightened the already grip on his blade. Thinking for a moment of how she could have just attacked him, he slowly eased his grip and spoke. "My apologies, I heard your voice and thought you might have lost someone or become lost yourself."

Sky walked into the tavern and looked around seeing how empty he is he turned to the bar and seen there was only a man their that looked nothing like the bar tender Sky knew. "Joe?" He said a bit confused but as he seen the man draw his blade his eyes widened in then narrowed. "What the hell! Who are you?" His hands remained in his pockets and he looked around for Miyuki it was then he noticed she was missing from his side. Not now. The one time I wasn't paying attention would be the time for her to disappear. Hearing the mans words as he jumped back into the scene at hand he wondered who was he and why was he so hostile towards a half demon and how did he even know he was one at all. His lightning would still pulse around him calmly as he wasn't going to fight with all these people here in this village not wanting his once old friends to also see him as a monster. "Im just here to say hi to an old friend." His voice was deeper and held nothing but serious in it worrying what this thing did to Joe.

Miyuki peeked through the hood of her cloak, showing her bright light blue eyes, her white lips and hair. She pouted, she eyed him holding the hilt of the sword. She took a step back, afraid. Her insticts always tells her to flee when there's trouble.

"I-I'm lost." She said quietly. She moved back again, scared and ready to flee. "I lost someone."
