Fantasy The Final Masquerade | Volume: ONE

"Beautiful indeed, and I will be sure to do that." Julian smiled and looked to Vivian's friend. "What about you there?" Julian questioned.

Upon being addressed, Torre bowed while introducing himself. "Greetings, Sir Julian. Similar to Miss North, I am also a swordsman. I am proficient in two sword style combat, specializing in two katanas," he started, unsheathing his blades as he did so in order for Sir Julian to judge. "It may not amount to much, Sir Julian, but I also have received a formal education within my family's castle, such as tactics and strategy alongside etiquette and chivalry."

Julian was very impressed with Torre. "That will get you wry very far in life, good sir. I like you." Julian pointed at the young man and smiled. He then turned back to the rest of the group. "I really like all of you so far." His smirk was still present. He couldn't believe that he had gathered a group of great fighters.

Eldrick stepped forward, from the barrels since it seemed he was the only one who had not introduced himself fully. He held his hand out to Julian, a straight look on his face, "My name is Eldrick Eldweiss," he said.

"Eldrick, Julian." He shook the man's hand. "Good to meet you. What skills do you possess?"

Eldrick pulled out the basic sword from its sheath, along with the knife, "They are pretty ordinary, as I do not have the money for much, but I am skilled in swords, and knives. Mostly knives, I have a good aim," he said, holding out the knife, after sheathing the sword. "You can look at it if you would like,"

((I'll get a picture for it soon))

Akira opened her eyes gently. Like she had said, she had nowhere to go. She had chosen a nice comfy bench and kicked up her feet, and fallen asleep, staring at the blackness that was the sky. But somehow, the bench had been a bit too comfy, and she had overslept. She rolled off the bench, hitting the ground with a thud. After some momentary cursing under her breath and started sprinting towards the docks, after running back and picking up her weapon.

Her boots clunking against the slabs of wood underneath her feet as she raced towards the group of people. "Damn that stupid bench." She mumbled as she stopped and placed her hands on her knees, standing in front of the entire group. She could feel there pupils burning holes in the back of her head as she stood up from her position. "Sorry... I'm... Late...." She panted, looking at Julian.

Ellion had barely survived the night with her mess of brothers, her father having been gone most of the night certainly on a hunt for whatever scum he was asked to take care of. Leaving the fiery soul to watch after the youngins, something she only did for the extra cash and the tackling practice. And now here she was strutting down the cobblestone pathway staring at the rising sea in the distance well aware that she had slept far past the date in time they wished to meet with one another. But her single response was going to be her roar like yawn if they where to scold her, as her hair was a mess as usual dancing in front of her bronze eyes.

Ellion finally came to the dock as a young dane dressed in red was apologizing for her lateness or interruption it didn't quite matter to the women as she passed lazily saluting as she strode to a spot,

"I'm not," she murmured referring to her being late, her father always told her that honesty was a good trait. And though she may seem rude she'd keep that attribute for lying was just a fools mask. She took a seat atop a wooden crate inspecting the situation to understand what they where doing as her gloved fingers fumbled the edges of her goggles which covered her eyes.

Julian's red hooded friend came sprinting onto the docks to meet the group. "There you are, don't worry, you're not late for anything. Just doing introductions right now." The pirate-looking girl from before had also showed up. "Good, we got most of us here. Fantastic." He turned to the two that had just shown up, "Let's hear about you two, you look like an interesting two girls now..."

'What the hell was that...interesting...? ...you're a dumbass, learn how to talk to girls you freak.' his mind scolded Julian.

Akira chuckled. "Nice job Julian." She said, standing up. The other girl had been quite... blunt about her answer. She sighed and put on a smile for the rest of them. "Hello. My name is Akira, and I am Little Red. Stick the word Sadistic in the middle of the Little and Red." She said, chuckling a bit. "I am a scythe weilder plus a sniper rifle user. I am a good shot, flexible, and strong, but I tend to not be good at following plans." She said. She unfolded her scythe. "This is Crescent Rose, a combination sniper rifle and scythe. Just a warning, do not pull the trigger on the handle." She said.

"Impressive." Julian examined the weapon curiously. "You all seem to be able to fit this role of fighting very well. We begin training now, head over to this address as soon as possible." Julian gave them all a piece of paper with an address to his uncle's old training grounds. He smirked, then walked off the docks with his hands in his pockets.

Akira quickly followed Julian off the docks. It took all her effort not to call him Julia or some stupid nickname. After all, he was not exactly the smoothest person with the ladies and sometimes it was kind of funny to watch him stumble. But she had learned better than to make fun of friends and especially leaders.

Taking the address in hand Silas gave a rare, small smile, this sounded more like it, instead of sitting around having a tea party on the dock they'd actually get a chance to test each others worth. Standing up from his spot he began strolling towards his destination, somewhat excited to see as to how the other members fared in a fight.

Torre received the paper with the address labeled on it from Sir Julian. Figuring that he had nothing else planned for today, he decided he should head there immediately. It would also be a good place for him to put down his stuff as well, since he had been lugging his travel belongings all morning; although it wasn't too much, it was cumbersome to try and carry them constantly throughout the day. Repositioning his luggage, he began the trip to the address.

Eldrick took the sheet of paper and looked at it before blinking. He knew the place, he just didn't know how to get there. He sighed and pulled a map from a pocket in his cloak, and looked at it for a minute before nodding and putting it back. He readjusted his equipment, so that it was comfortable, then he headed towards the location. Which wouldn't take very long to get to.

Julian made his way to the gymnasium-sized building and opened the heavy gate. His nose and face were met with a cloud of thick dust from disuse of the building. Nevertheless, this was here he had trained to become the greatest swordsmen in the Civilgrounds. He unsheathed his sword and looked at it, he hadn't used it in a month at least.

"6 meters from a target...5 seconds to react..." He flipped the hilt of the sword in his hand causing the grip of his sword to switch to an icepick style grip. He took his stance, breathing in and out slowly. Julina then sheathed his sword and took a proper posture to await the others. In the mean time, he took out a pistol and feild striped it to clean it.

Akira walked towards the place. She looked up at the building then down at the address. "Yep, this is the place." She said with a sigh. She walked towards the door and hesitated at the handle. She took a deep breath and turned the handle, opening the door. She blinked for a few seconds and adjusted to the light before walking inside.

She coughed and waved away the dust in front of her eyes. Once she had adjusted to the room, she looked around until she spotted Julian. She smiled and plunked herself on the floor next to him, pulling out Crescent Rose and unfolding it, taking our a sharpening stone and slid it quickly along the blade, the sound echoing throughout the room.

Terra went to the training grounds. When she got she opened the door to fine Julian and Akira. She pulled out her sword and looked at it. She couldn't train with this sword not with the poison on it. She sheathed her sword. 'Maybe there's a extra sword around here I could train with.' She looked around to see what she could find.

Eldrick made it to the older looking building and coughed slightly because of the dust. He waved his hand in front of his face for a moment, and looked round, seeing the others. He nodded a greeting, before pulling out his sword, and walked over to the small group and sat a little off to the left side of Julian, as he examined the plain sword in his hands. With a sigh, he sheathed it once again, and took a book out of his bag, and started reading out of boredom.

Julian put his pistol back together and took aim at a target as he stood up. He held the pistol with one hand. the other resting at his side. He squeezed off the entire magazine, the copper shells made a tinging sound as they fell to the ground. On the last round, Julian's gun jammed and the blowback pressure caused the upper-receiver to shoot off of the bottom receiver. Bolts and hot metal flew all around Julian's feet.

"Son of a bitch." He leaned down to start picking up the pieces. "Stupid..." He mumbled to himself.

Eldrick watched as Julian's pistol misfired, and pieces fell everywhere, he stood up and went to help. Picking up the main pieces and the ones that weren't that hot. He glanced over at Julian, "Is it broken, or can it be fixed?" he asked handing the pieces to him.

Julian grabbed the piece being handed to him by Eldrick. "Thanks." He put it with the others. "It can be fixed, it was a mistake by me. Forgot to tighten a screw." Julian started putting the pieces back together, preparing to try and fire the weapon again.

Akira laughed, standing up. She took the ammo off her belt and loaded a few in, taking the safety lock off. She twirled it before aiming the end of her scythe at the target and pulling the trigger, the scythe barely moving in her hands as she had absorbed most of the recoil. She unloaded the empty shell before firing again. She smiled, letting the scythe lay slack in her hand. Her favorite thing was using the gun when the blade was around someone's neck and she fired the gun because the recoil would behead them.

Terra found a extra sword near the wall. She picked it up and looked at it. She then swung it around a little. Them she Julian yell out. She turned around and saw that his gun had came apart. She then turned back around and went back to practice.
