Alex smiled as he looked at Nate, hearing him groan as he stood beside him. “Why would we do that love? We’ll never be done picking on you. That’s our job as your family.” Alex said as he watched Carlos kiss Kaleb’s cheek and then come over. “You haven’t tasted anything like fresh bread or cookies.” He said when Carlos came back over.

Kaleb smiled at the kiss. “I’ll be quick.” He said before he walked off, heading to Jordan and Asher’s room. Jordan looked at Asher seeing him leaning against the wall and a foot up as he smiled at him. “Were you reading gorgeous?” Jordan asked, seeing him toss the book on the dresser as Kaleb walked in and shut the door behind him. “I need your help for this wedding.” Kaleb said, not really waiting for any hellos or anything. Just getting right into it. “What can we do?” Jordan asked, having sat down on the bed, legs curled up under himself.​

Nate sighed though he was still smiling. “Why poor me? No one picks on him.” He gestured to Carlos who merely shrugged. “That is because I am just too cute for that. And I am not the one having an affair with bread.” He stretched his arms out wide. “Though if we want either bread or cookies, both of which sound better than everything I have ever eaten, then we are going to need to get to planting… something. Wheat? You said wheat for bread.” He rested his head on Alex’s shoulder. “Can we just ask someone else for cookies?”

Asher nodded. “I was convinced. He’s very persuasive. Like you. But different.” He looked up at the closing of the door and snorted as Kaleb jumped right into business. “This is why I like you so much.” He rested both arms over his chest as he stood there. “What is it that you want to do that’s so secret? And is it just a secret from him? Because that’s going to be fun.”

Alex smiled as he looked at Nate, chuckling softly. “That’s because you are so easy to pick on beautiful.” Alex said as he turned his head to look at Carlos. “And yeah, he’s too cute for that.” Alex added before he thought for a moment. “We need wheat, but perhaps we should check out the town. Maybe we can help the baker in exchange for the food?” Alex suggested as he felt Carlos’ head on his shoulder.

Jordan chuckled hearing Asher’s response before he looked at Kaleb. “Well. So I was thinking about maybe riding a horse up to the arch thing that weddings have? But I want it to be a surprise to Carlos. I.. just don’t know how to ride one.” Kaleb admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. “So I’d like some help learning?” He asked, looking at them. Jordan looked at Asher. “There you go gorgeous, teach your cutie how to ride.” He said with a smile.​

“Bartering and trade is the primary source of commune such as these,” Nate stated. “Though I am not certain what good all of us can be for a baker with our specialized skills.” Unless of course the baker required some sort of medical attention that they did not want to go to the trusted medics for. That seemed unlikely. “Are either of you particularly into baking?” Carlos shrugged. “I wouldn’t know.”

Asher raised a brow at this line of thought and then smiled. “How very western of you.” He was not sure exactly what Kaleb’s vision was, but he already liked it. “Okay, teaching you to ride a horse. We can do that. I am sure we can do that surreptitiously. He’s easy enough to distract.” Asher pointed to Jordan. “That is your problem, lovebug. I’m sure you can keep him distracted. Though, to be fair, he seems like he can be distracted by just about anyone.” It really was amazing how much Carlos seemed to enjoy literally everything and everyone. “If you weren’t under probation, this would be easier. I could take you out with me hunting, and we could practice then. No worries. We have time. And plenty of horses. You know, I think you’re just as much a romantic as him. You’re just quieter about it.”

Alex thought for a moment about what he could do to barter his skills for baked goods or even seeds to grow their own. "I can harvest plants for them. I'm sure the farmers that work here could use help harvesting and delivering the wheat and such to the bakers." Alex said, shrugging his shoulders. "Or I can do basic cooking, though I'd be down to learn if they need help with that." he added.

Kaleb looked at Asher and then at Jordan. "I'm not sure when we were planning this wedding, but I kind of wanted to ride one of our mares too." He admitted, as Jordan chuckled. "We can do that, and even if she has the baby, then you'll have a beautiful foal beside you. Also, of course I can distract Carlos. That's not hard at all." Jordan said, smiling as Kaleb looked at Asher, blushing a little bit. "I guess I am.." He admitted, smiling softly. "Thanks guys, for helping me with this, and bringing us in, and moving in with us." Kaleb said, looking at them both.​

Nate shook his head. “You will never cease to amaze me with all the things that you do and are willing to do.” He moved away from the other two to move into the farmhouse. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do, but he felt like he needed to figure out something. Carlos was not done though. “With these big arms, I am sure I could do something useful. I guess the best thing to do it ask.”

“I don’t think that you have a date set. We do it whenever you want to I guess.” He grabbed Kaleb’s hand and moved over to the bed. “Maybe you riding a horse with little Ireland next to you is exactly what he would want.” He glanced at Jordan. “Do you think he’s going to try to parent that little one? Because that would be too funny.” Without a warning or asking for permission or anything like that, he plopped himself down on the bed beside Jordan and pulled Kaleb down with him. “You are of course welcome. That’s what… whatever the hell we are are for.” He grinned as he snaked a hand over Jordan’s shoulders.

Alex smiled as he looked at Nate, following him into the farmhouse, looking back at Carlos, hearing him. "I'm sure those big arms would be helpful in gathering things. Or I wonder, how would you do creating things? Ezekiel said he was basically the only one in the woodshop, maybe you could work there. And we can build your arch for your wedding together." Alex suggested as they walked inside.

Kaleb thought about it for a long moment then nodded. "I think that's perfect. We can hold the wedding after little Ireland is born. Oh! And we can deck him out in blue. Both of them." Kaleb said with a big smile, picturing it now. Jordan looked at Asher and chuckled as he nodded. "Probably. It wouldn't surprise me." He said as he watched Asher take Kaleb's hand, who moved with Asher towards the bed. When he was pulled down, he was all but sitting almost in Asher's lap, but not quite and he smiled at that. "I'm not sure what we are, but I love it all the same." Kaleb admitted as Jordan nodded, feeling the hand over his shoulders. "Anyone wanna bet how long we'll be in here before Carlos tries to come in?" Jordan asked, chuckling as he looked at the other two.​

Carlos followed in after the other two. “I don’t have any idea how to make one of those, but I feel as though it would be more gratifying than tearing down old buildings. That was a fruitless and thankless job.” He wandered after Nate who was walking into the still bare kitchen. “It did mean that I got to see Kaleb all the time, though.” He grinned as he leaned against the counter. “Those were my favorite parts of every day.”

“So now we definitely have to see these matching outfits of yours.” Asher grinned at Jordan like they were getting away with something. “To see the color, of course. For outfitting the horses.” He gazed at the door wondering the same as well. Carlos was likely to wander in eventually, especially when so many of his loves were all in one room. “Can’t be too much longer I assume. What do we want to tell him when he does come?”

Alex looked at Carlos as they walked in, and thought for a moment. "Well, maybe it's something we can do. And imagine how great it will be to be married under something you made yourself? That would probably be beautiful. And we can paint it blue." Alex added, smiling at Carlos as he sat down at the table, hand out for Nate to join him.

Kaleb smiled wide as he looked at Asher and Jordan. "Of course, we already showed them off to Alex and Nate, so why not? Although I think once Jordan sees Carlos in the dress, we should probably leave.. because they'll be all over each other. I certainly was that night." Kaleb said with a grin as Jordan hummed. "We need to do this sooner rather than later then.. all for research of course." Jordan said as he looked at the door. "I think we should tell him that we were waiting for him to come join us." He said with a small laugh.​

Nate slowly walked through the bones of a house that they could furnish and fill. That was something they were going to have to work on. He may have gotten distracted today with wanting to perform a surgery. His eyes were drawn to the hand, and he followed like he often did. He sat down at the table as well. “I think everything should be blue. That blue.” He put his hands on his hips as he thought about it. “The most beautiful blue.” Nate patted the table to get his attention. “You’re just biased, because you’re in love with him.” Carlos shook his head. “No, see that’s where you’re wrong. I’m not in love with him. I just love him. No potential for falling out of it.”

Asher rested his head in the crook of Jordan’s shoulder and neck. “I thought you might say that.” The hand that was hanging over his shoulder moved up and rubbed at Jordan’s jaw. “You’re as easy to distract as he is.” He chuckled low and moved his head to Kaleb’s shoulder then. “I agree. We should say that we’ve been waiting here for him. The whole time. It definitely has nothing to do with wedding dresses or anything.”

Alex looked at Nate when he sat down, and then he looked up at Carlos, hearing his words and chuckled a little bit. He heard Nate pat the table and looked at him, before he heard his response. Alex loved how they loved each other, how they were such a wonderful unit. "I understand that distinction. I'm the same way." He said, looking at Nate with a smile. "Now. I think it's time to call it a night beautiful, what do you think? It's been a rather.. eventful day."

Jordan felt a shiver run down his spine at the rub on his jaw. "Yep. I am just as easy to distract, especially with you or him." Jordan said, turning his head to look at Asher when he felt that head move. Kaleb nodded, then he thought about it for a moment. "We should find Jordan a dress. Or have one made. Can you imagine that?" Kaleb asked, looking at Asher while Jordan blinked, then smirked. "Oh. I'd be down. Perhaps a bright red one to match my.. firey personality?"​

Now that was just the sweetest thing Nate had ever heard. He took Alex’s hand and smiled. “Bedtime. Right. Did you know that planning the future of someone’s movability is actually both terrifying and exhilarating? It’s also exhausting.” He stood up and beckoned for Alex to join him. “Carlos? You good on your own?” Carlos bounded over to them and gave them both kisses on the cheek. Nate accepted this as his fate. “I’m never on my own. My love told me he would return quickly, and I fear he’s gotten distracted. Have pleasant dreams my sweet little loves. You should definitely do what I would do.” Nate flushed red.

Jordan in a dress. A red dress. Asher did like the sound of that. “And what exactly would this dress be for? Attending this wedding? Dancing later?” Then the most important question occurred to him. “Would it lace up too? Because I think we would all like that. Imagine how the two of you would be in the same room?” He chuckled. “Kaleb, we can’t let them both of dresses on at the same time. We will never see them again.”

Alex smiled, nodding as he squeezed Nate's hand. He looked over at Carlos when he heard that and laughed. "Maybe not tonight. I'm ready to enjoy a nice quiet sleep." Alex said, seeing Nate's face flush red. "Unless you'd like to do what Carlos would do." He added, turning to go with Nate towards the stairs after Carlos kissed both their cheeks. "Good night Carlos." Alex called, smiling at him.

Kaleb looked at Asher, and then at Jordan who shrugged. "Dancing, attending the wedding, or weddings if Ezekiel asks Kai." Jordan said as he grinned. "And yes, it would lace up. And both of us in the same room? I don't know if the world could handle that." He added as Kaleb laughed, shaking his head. "They'd be too busy with each other at that point, but imagine them together in their dresses?" He said, smiling at the two of them. "What a sight.."​

“Goodnight!” Carlos called. Nate was not doing a whole lot of anything after that. He followed Alex to the stairs. “I was just thinking about sleep,” he answered as he started moving up them. “Why does he like to do that to me?” His face flushed a deeper red and his eyes went wide. “I’m not saying that I didn’t like when we- I mean, I really did, and I would-“ Shoot. “It’s just that I thought we were just going to-“ Put does that shovel, Nate. Put it down.

Asher wrapped an arm around Kaleb as he leaned more into him and further away from Jordan. He was trying to picture this dress. “The two most beautiful men in the world in stunning dresses twirling around a dancefloor together? That really would be a sight.” He nodded several times. “I would love to see that. We are getting him a dress.” And that was when Carlos opened up the door. No knocking or anything. He had no privacy. “Have you stolen my Kaleb with indecent intentions?” His eyes landed first on Kaleb and how he was just about sitting on Asher. This only made Carlos smile more. “Oh, so I see that it was indecent intentions.”

Alex looked at Nate as he heard him and then he chuckled, seeing him flush a deeper red. "That is why he does that." He said, and then he chuckled. "Nate. Relax. I understand what you're saying. And no, I was thinking about sleeping tonight." Alex said, as they reached the top of the stairs and he stepped into their room. Once Nate was in as well, he shut the door. "Why are you so cute when you blush?" He asked, pulling Nate towards the bed.

Kaleb laughed as he felt the arm around him and felt Asher lean more into him. Jordan just watched, happiness on his face as he watched the two. "It's settled then, I will do what I need to in order to get a red dress for our boy." Kaleb said, looking at Jordan who smiled, nodding as the door opened and both men turned to look at Carlos. "I couldn't help myself baby, they're just so.. tempting." He said, winking at Carlos while Jordan laughed, holding a hand out. "Come join us beautiful. We're having a wonderful discussion and we've been waiting for you to join us."​

Relaxing was one of those things that Nate did when he was not horrendously embarrassed by his own making. This seemed so easy for everyone else, but he found it so difficult. He could blame his mama. His brothers were fine though. They could talk about anything. Not him. He never could. He tried to find the words, and that did not happen. His tongue forgot how to work. If it was possible, he blushed even more after that comment. He fell onto the bed. “I-I wouldn’t say… um, I’m not-“ He was not sure how being flustered was cute.

Carlos bit his lower lip at that wink. “Mm, don’t I know it.” Then he paused and tilted his head to the side. “They? Have we all been sharing?” He grinned as he drew to Jordan’s hand like a moth to the flame. This was how he fell down several stories and into an infested basement full of baddies who wanted to eat his face. Did that stop him? Of course not. Since they were running out of room on the front of the bed, he lounged behind all of them. “Or have you all been in here waiting for me, because you knew I would be horribly jealous if you did anything without me?”

Alex laughed as he laid on the bed with him, wrapping Nate up in his arms. "Yes. You are. And this proves the point." He said, seeing him blush more. Alex leaned over and kissed Nate gently, before he pulled away. "Get some sleep, maybe that face will be less like a cherry tomato tomorrow." He said teasingly as he held Nate close.

Kaleb looked at Carlos, seeing him bite the lip and then he chuckled, watching his partner come over. "We tried sharing, but it wasn't as much fun without you." He said as Jordan laughed, watching Carlos lounge behind them. He looked back at him, hearing those words. "We've been waiting for you, wouldn't want you to be jealous of us. But now that your here." He said, leaning back and stretched, kissing Carlos' cheek before moving back to lean over and kiss Kaleb's cheek then Asher's before he smiled. "Yeah, better with all of us" He said with a chuckle.​

This was Nate mostly dead. He could have just died with everything that was going on. Everything was literally him not being able to handle anything, so it wasn’t anything different or unusual. He relaxed a little at the kiss but still burned hot at the tease. “One of these days, you’re going to have teased me so much that I’ll become complacent, and then you’ll be sad that I’ve changed.” He doubted that would ever happen honestly. He curled into Alex as his eyes began to close.

Both of these men knew exactly what to say to mess with him. Carlos watched intrigued. He was so proud of Kaleb for having come so far in the past two years. So reserved. Now look at him. Asher had flat out pulled Kaleb on to his lap to wrap both arms around him as he pulled Jordan face back to kiss him. Kaleb was joking about all of them being together. Carlos was amused. “So, I am to believe that you left me to be with them just to decide talking was better until I showed up? That seems unlikely. Though, I do like where this is going. My love, I always did say beds were too big for only two.” Asher was trying not to laugh, though the smile was definitely there to stay. “I don’t think you could handle what we were talking about. Lovebug certainly couldn’t.” He winked and nestled his head into Kaleb’s neck. “And to think this one started it all.”

Alex merely chuckled, hearing that and knowing it would probably never happen. "We'll see. Good night beautiful." Alex said, kissing the top of Nate's head and he felt his eyes closing. Today had been crazy, but it was wonderful as well. It was just nice to not have to travel anywhere. To have a full stomach and meals morning and night. He really felt like they were home. Alex sighed happily as he fell asleep.

Kaleb gasped softly in surprise at being pulled into Asher's lap before he melted completely into his hold. Jordan kissed Asher back when he pulled him back. Kaleb looked back at Carlos, hearing him and he smiled, feeling Asher's head nestle into his neck. "No. I couldn't handle the earlier conversation, and I agree with you. Beds are too big for just two people." He admitted while Kaleb laughed softly. "That's what happens when you're around Carlos twenty four seven for two years. Things rubbed off on me." Kaleb teased, looking back at Carlos then flicking his gaze to Asher.​

Carlos laid there, leg brushing against Jordan and hand resting on what should have been Asher’s thigh but was Kaleb instead. “Good things. Great things even. Like conversations that we can’t handle. Now I am very sad that I don’t know about it.” He sighed for dramatic effect. Asher settled into holding Kaleb there, his leg also against Jordan. “That’s too bad. You’ll never know.” He watched as Carlos ran his hand from one man to the next as he laid there pouting. It was pretty cute. It reminded him of the faces Jordan could make. He never could deny those either. “You know, I did say earlier that Jordan was mine tonight, but…” Asher slowly rubbed his face against Kaleb’s neck. “I kind of like having the four of us in here.”

Jordan felt the leg brush against him and Kaleb felt the hand on his thigh. He listened to Carlos and laughed softly, hearing his dramatic sigh and even Jordan felt Asher's leg as well. Kaleb felt the hand run from one to the next as he looked back at him, and seeing those faces. He also felt Asher's face rub against his neck. "I could go for all four of us together. A nice group night." Kaleb agreed, while Jordan grinned, moving so he was closer to Carlos and wrapped an arm around his shoulders, kissing Carlos' neck. "I like this all four of us thing, it's nice." Jordan said, looking over at Asher and had rested his head near the crook of Carlos' neck.​

What could be better than being on this bed with so many of his favorite people? “Alex and Nate have abandoned us to go to sleep.” He brought a hand up to gently run through Jordan’s hair as he spoke. “Sleep. Like they’ve learned nothing from me this whole time.” He reached over for Kaleb’s hand to pull close to him. He kissed it, because he loved everything about his husband to be. Whenever that was. Later. Right now, they were this great, beautiful mass of love. He missed having this. He loved Alex and Nate too. So much more than he thought that he would. As infatuated as he was with Alex, and that was much, it was not quite as strong as his feelings for this group. This strange unit made of units. He pulled at Jordan’s hand that wrapped around him and kissed it as well. Asher eyed the other two. “Have you ever thought that maybe they are tired and sleep is good for you?” As he said this, he too found himself a little distracted by the present company. It never did help when Jordan was like that with Carlos. Plus having Kaleb back after so long. He had been almost ready to open up. Really allow other people to get to know him. Then they were apart. He pressed a gentle kiss to Kaleb’s jaw. How could he not with the other two being like that all the time? And the jokes. And the situation.

Jordan let out a dramatic sigh as he felt the hand through his hair. He missed that, missed this. Missed them. Their lives weren't quite the same when Carlos and Kaleb left them, but that was the past. This was the future. "Sleep. How could they?" Jordan asked as he smiled at the kiss to his hand, and Kaleb looked at Asher, hearing him. He smiled at the kiss to his jaw and he turned to actually kiss Asher while Jordan took the chance to kiss Carlos, though his was much deeper than Kaleb's which was softer and gentler.​

Mm, these kisses never got old. Sure, they had plenty today and more. Yeah. There was always more to go around. Carlos pulled Jordan closer before rolling them both over so that he was on top of him. He put a finger to Jordan’s lips and whipped his attention around to the other two who were over there with their sweet, gentle kisses. He was pretty sure that Mr. Tough Guy Asher had the slightest flush to his cheeks. He leaned over and pried away Kaleb long enough to give him a far deeper kiss than either of them could do. “I know we taught you better.” He tugged at Asher’s to give him the same. Then he leaned close to Kaleb’s ear, lips brushing softly against him. “Show him how it’s done, love?” He grinned and moved back to Jordan. “Where were we?” Without any time, he was back to where he was. Asher, on the other hand, took a moment to register what just happened.

Jordan gasped as Carlos pulled him closer and then he was on his back with Carlos on top. He grinned at the finger to his lips and watched Carlos turn to the other two. Kaleb was kissing Asher gently and sweet when he was pulled away. He grinned into the deeper kiss and then watched Asher receive the same. He felt Carlos’ lips brush against his ear and heard him. A smile grew on Kaleb’s face as he moved back to face Asher. Now he had the okay, he shifted and pushed Asher so he was on the bed and Kaleb was over him, and he started trailing kisses from Asher’s chin down his jaw, his neck and towards his shoulder. Meanwhile Jordan looked up at Carlos when he returned and his arms wrapped around Carlos, kissing him deeply.​
