Alex heard Nate’s laugh and that little giggle and smiled. He felt the hand on his shoulder and looked at Asher. “Sure. We can do that.” Alex said, taking Nate’s hand and led him to the table. Kaleb followed Asher to get breakfasts for the four of them. It would be smarter to grab the other breakfasts after so it doesn’t get cold. Meanwhile Josh opened the door for Hayden, Kai, Jacob and the others as they showed up for breakfast as well.​

Asher looked over at the table to see a whole lot more people showing up. “Grab as many as you can. The family has shown up.” Hayden joined Nate and Alex as Soren joined the men getting the meals. Ezekiel playfully pushed aside others so that he could sit by Alex. “It is only fair that I get to sit by my own brother.” Asher came back with the first round of breakfasts and disappeared to get more.​

Kaleb nodded as he too took as many as he could carry and headed back to the table to deposit them. Kaiden chuckled as he watched Ezekiel push aside others to sit by Alex and he sat down beside his partner. Alex looked up and laughed softly. “It is only fair, I agree.” He said with a smile on his face. Josh sat beside Hayden while Jacob joined Soren in getting everyone their breakfasts.​

“You know,” Theo began as he finished up his food that he’d already started eating, because they were early, “he’s not your real brother.” Ezekiel did not dignify this with any response other than a glance in his direction. He turned his attention to Alex and Nate. “Big plans for today?” The crew grabbing meals finishing handing them all out. Asher sat at the end of the table so that he was not surrounded. Sometimes, it was too much. As much as he loved Jordan and Carlos, as least they didn’t have them too.​

Kai and Alex both looked over at Theo, hearing him and snorted a laugh as he started eating. Alex shook his head and decided against responding to that. He looked at Ezekiel and smiled. "I was planning on asking to go with you this morning. I have something I'd like to ask you about. And we can catch up too." Alex said as he smiled. Kaiden looked at Theo and sighed a little. "You know Theo? That's like saying we aren't real brothers but we're brothers anyway." He said with a grin as he ate his own food. Kaleb sat beside Asher near the end of the table as Jacob sat across from Nate and beside Soren.​

Theo groaned at this blatant ignorance of the obvious. And also that he was being called out for something that was absolutely accurate. “Yeah but I’ve been with Kai longer than Alex has even been alive,” he tried, though he was pretty sure no one was going to be on his side for this. Ezekiel continued to ignore Theo. Indulging that would only make it continue, and he was not sure that he was in the mood for that. “Sure. I can show you around the workshop.” He looked at Nate. “You too?” Nate shook his head. “No, I don’t think I would be much use. Alex is far more capable.” He looked over at Kaleb and Asher. “Do you guys need me to help moving everything over to the farmhouse? Or maybe…” his attention turned to Jacob. “Maybe I can go with you? Prove myself useful and maybe do some research?”​

Kai decided to also ignore that, he indulged once and he didn't want to keep that string of thought going. So he decided to change the subject. "Come on Theo, we have patrol this morning. So let's finish up so Maria doesn't yell at us again." Kaiden said as he worked on eating his own breakfast. Alex smiled, looking at Ezekiel nodding. "Cool." Alex said as he kept eating, glancing over at Nate. Kaleb looked at Nate and shook his head at that. "We don't need a fifth person, especially with those two." Kaleb said as Jacob smiled and nodded. "You're more than welcome to come with me. I'd love to have you, and maybe you can even help with a few patients I have coming in today. How does that sound?" Jacob asked as he ate.​

Theo, having already finished his food, nodded. They really needed to not get in trouble again. They may have been older now, but they still got themselves into trouble all the time. “I’m ready when you are, bro.” He grabbed people’s finished dishes and started taking them away. Ezekiel leaned over and kissed Kai’s temple. “Don’t get into too much trouble today.” He looked back at Alex. “We could make use of those skills of yours. I was always a little jealous of how much you could accomplish.” Nate smiled at Jacob. “I would love to help out with your patients. I wish that I could do more most of the time.” He ate his portion relatively quickly. ​

Kaiden finished his food and smiled at the kiss to his temple. "I can't promise anything love." Kai replied as he stood up, looking at Theo. "After you bro." He said, grabbing any other finished dishes and bringing those with him. He looked back at his partner and smiled before he set the empty dishes down and headed out to the stables with Theo. Alex looked at Ezekiel and blushed a little bit at the comment. "I would love to be useful." He said with a smile as he finished his meal. Jacob looked at Nate and smiled, nodding his head. "Good. And if today goes great, you're more than welcome to work in the medical tent any time you wish." Jacob said as he finished his meal as well.​

Theo waved to the rest as they left. Ezekiel shook his head. “You say that like you aren’t useful all of the time. If we had you on our journey here, I am certain it would have gone better. No one can hunt like you can.” He finished his food at about the same time as Nate who smiled shyly at the thought. “I don’t know how great I can be, but I would love to try. I always thought being a doctor would be wonderful.” Asher, finishing his meal, leaned over to Kaleb. “Im going to grab the other two their meals.” He stood up to do so. ​

Alex looked at Ezekiel, that soft blush staying on his face. "Oh.. uh thanks." He said with a small smile as he stood up and looked at Nate, kissing the side of his head. "I'll see you later love? Enjoy being a Medicine Man." He said, looking at Ezekiel. "I'm ready if you are brother." Alex said, smiling. Jacob looked at Nate and chuckled as he heard him. "I'm sure you're great. And perhaps you could still be a doctor. You're young enough." Jacob said as he looked at Soren. "I'll see you later dear." He said with a smile. Kaleb looked at Asher and stood up. "I'll take our dirty trays while you do that so we can go wake up our boys." Kaleb said, grabbing both their trays to put them away.​

Asher moved quickly to put away things and was back as several others were finishing. Ezekiel was nodding to Alex. “I am ready.” He smiled at Alex with Nate, who was leaned against him just to demand a hug before anyone could move. He may not have been as clingy and touchy as Carlos, but with Alex, he liked the contact. Asher put a hand on Alex’s shoulder and another on Nate’s. “Don’t do anything too terrible without us. You know the boys would never forgive you if they weren’t invited.” He put his arm out for Kaleb. Soren turned Jacob’s head so that he could give him a real kiss unlike all this cheek and temple nonsense. “I’ll come see you and your new apprentice when I’m done.” He too left.​

Alex looked at Ezekiel and nodded before he felt Nate lean into him. He turned in his seat and gave him a hug, with a gentle squeeze and a kiss. “Have fun beautiful.” He said with a smile before he felt the hand on his shoulder and looked at Asher. “Of course not. We would never want that.” Alex said as he pulled away and moved to take care of his tray and Nate’s. Kaleb took Asher’s arm and smiled, nodding his head to everyone. Josh was done and he turned to give Hayden a hug and a kiss. “I’ll see you later love.” He said as he waited for Soren and headed out with him. Jacob smiled and nodded. “Sounds good love.” He said, kissing him back. When Soren and Josh left, he looked at Nate. “Ready to go apprentice?” He asked him with a chuckle.​

Asher let Kaleb out to walk back to their farmhouse with their two extra meals. He, of course, promised to bring the trays and everything back. He planned to do that during on one of the back and forth trips between the houses. “I bet they’re still asleep when we get back.” Ezekiel and Nate stood to get ready for the things to come. Ezekiel moved away from the table, wishing everyone luck with their days, and moved to Alex. “I don’t know how very exciting this will be, but I don’t mind having the company and the help. I also am curious as to what you wanted to talk about.”​

Kaleb followed Asher out and looked at him as he spoke. “Probably. Those two could sleep forever I think.” Kaleb said as he walked towards the gates. He didn’t know how much he missed Asher until he’d seen him again. And now they all lived together. It was wonderful. Meanwhile Jordan, all entangled with Carlos, started to stir.

Alex looked at Ezekiel following him away from the table. He opened the door and held it for his brother. “It doesn’t have to be exciting, I just wish to catch up and talk.” Alex said. “Though I am curious about your work.” He added as Jacob looked at Nate, he too getting up from the table and looked at Nate, gesturing for him to follow him out of the cafeteria and to the medical tent.​

Sometimes Asher played this game where he saw how much he could get done before Jordan woke up. He liked to get one more thing done than before. It was a fun game he played with himself. Well. A game he used to play. Maybe not so much recently. Maybe more now? He walked with Kaleb to the outer gate. “Maybe forever. They are sleepy kinds of people.” He smiled. “Though we did get them some kind of night.”

Nate waved to Alex and Ezekiel as he followed Jacob out towards the medical tent and the other two moved towards the workshop. “It is not too different to the carpenters and builders on the island, though it is more intensive. I have a larger variety of what I make, though tables seem to be what I currently make the most.”​

Kaleb looked at Asher as they headed to the outer gate. "It wouldn't surprise me if they did sleep forever, honestly. Carlos could for sure." He said as they made it through the gate and headed up the path. "We definitely did give them a night that they won't forget." Kaleb agreed with a chuckle.

Alex followed Ezekiel to the workshop and nodded as he listened to him. "I see, that's interesting. I never would've pegged you for a woodshop man, but it's probably better than patrolling all the time." Alex said as they moved towards the workshop.​

This side of Kaleb was fun. They had not reached this part two years ago when they were first together. Asher was endlessly glad that he could talk like this without making him uncomfortable now. It changed the dynamic. Also, Asher liked having Kaleb too. It was nice to share. “They are the best kind of something,” he mused as they made their way to the farmhouse gate. “How should we wake them up? Good morning, we have breakfast? If you don’t get up, we’ll eat it for you?”

Ezekiel smiled softly as he considered that as well. “I would not have either to be honest. I never saw myself in any other way than the warriors that we were.” As they reached the workshop, he opened the door and held it for Alex. “It was an unexpected turn, though I would not want it to have happened in another way.”​

Kaleb nodded as he heard that, a soft smile never seemed to leave his face. “Yes, yes they are.” He agreed, opening the farmhouse gate as they came to it and let Asher through. “Well, we could wake them up that way, or.. we could convince them to join us using their methods. A kiss, a hug, and then shove them off the bed if that doesn’t work.” Kaleb suggested as he shut the gate and headed for the farmhouse.

Alex listened to his brother as they reached the workshop. He stepped inside and looked around as he did. “I think this suits you better than being a warrior.” Alex said as he faced Ezekiel. “So, I.. was wondering if you’d help me make something. Or show me and I can do it on my own.” Alex said, his eyes on his brother.​

Asher chuckled lightly as they made it through the gate and back to the farmhouse. “That does sound tempting. Though, they may try to suck back into the cuddle. You know how they are.” On many occasions, that did seem to be how it went. That was alright though. “Pushing them off the bed does sound awfully entertaining.”

Ezekiel eyed his brother, curious as to what this was about. He led them through the workshop which looked a bit of a mess as all workshops did. He tried to keep it clean, but that never really happened with either wood or metal. “Help you make something?” He finally repeated. “Like what?” He doubted this was going to be a usual furniture request. Something told him that this was far more personal. ​

Kaleb nodded his head, hearing Asher and smirked as he heard that. "Yeah, they probably would. But now I kind of want to push them off the bed." Kaleb said with a mischievous grin as he opened the door for Asher, shutting it behind them. "Set the food on the table and we can go wake our sleeping beauties."

Alex walked through the workshop, taking it in completely as he looked over at Ezekiel and nodded. "Well. Our brothers, Kaleb and Carlos are getting married, and I wanted to make those wooden arches that they can be married under. Could you help me?" Alex asked, shifting in place a little bit with a small smile on his face.​

Asher headed to the table and put the food down so that they could head back to the room where they left their boys. He joined Kaleb in walking back to the room. He pushed it open slowly so as not to make too much sound and grinned at the two men most definitely cuddled in their sleep. He wondered which of them started it. “Hmm. What do you say we shove our way between them, give them false hopes, and then give them their… wake up call?”

Wedding arch. The first thing that Ezekiel thought of was the fact that he was going to eventually ask Kai to marry him, which was admittedly one of the most terrifying things in the world. Marriage, children. Those kinds of things should not have bothered him, and yet… they did. He smiled, though, pushing aside his own struggles. “You are very kind to want to do that for your friends. Do you have any specifications about it yet? A vision of the final product?” He walked them over to the back where he had several ongoing projects for various people.​

Kaleb looked at Asher, watching him set the food down on the table. He followed Asher into the room and saw the two men definitely cuddled in their sleep. Kaleb looked at Asher and nodded, smiling as he did. “I love that idea. Let’s do that.” Kaleb said, walking towards the bed and he slid onto it, squirming his way in between Jordan and Carlos. Jordan grumbled but shifted in place.

Alex looked at Ezekiel and hummed. “I was thinking about the ones like on the island. A big wooden arch with a wooden lattice connecting them together.” Alex replied following Ezekiel to the back of the workshop and looking at some of the unfinished projects.​

Asher watched with a grin as Kaleb took the initiative to start the decuddling process. In theory, it should have been difficult with ad clingy as they could be, but Carlos could tell it was Kaleb who was joining him. It felt like his other half. He happy shifted so that he could change all of his nestles to be a part of his love. He tried to capture Kaleb’s body with his own, throwing arms and legs alike over him. He was sleepy though and could have easily been thwarted. Asher waited a moment and then joined Kaleb, moving Jordan so that he could take control of this side of the cuddle. Of course, Asher also knew that with Jordan, he could be a little pushy, so besides literally pushing him to let him join, he reached for Jordan’s face and wrenched it towards him. No words, just kisses for his sleepy man. What better way to wake him up?

The ones on the island. Ezekiel thought about lost traditions that he pushed aside the moment he decided to follow Kaiden away from his home. After all these months, here was Alex bringing it back, and there was a part of him that was so proud that he could have been emotionally moved. Could have. Was not. Yet. “I think that sounds like a wonderful idea. And you want to build it? Or at least build it with me? Because I think that would be a beautiful wedding present for them as well.” He walked a little further back and to another room. This one was full of the different building materials that they had. There was a good portion here before, and now that he had come, the material numbers easily doubled. He was nothing if not determined. That and he could send people to acquire more. ​

Kaleb felt Carlos move, felt the arms and legs around him and he leaned up, kissing Carlos gently before pulling away. He felt Asher move in as Jordan felt his partner push him and he shifted before he felt the lips on his own. He sleepily opened his eyes halfway, looking at Asher. He pulled his head back and looked at him. “Morning gorgeous.” Jordan managed to get out as he looked at Asher.

Alex smiled and nodded, looking at Ezekiel. “Exactly. I’d love to have help building it, I’m good but I’d rather not mess it up.” Alex admitted as he looked at his brother. “They’ve done so much for me and Nate, I want to give back to them as well.”​
