Fantasy The Experiment (Reboot)

She grabbed the couch tightly, her knuckles white from the tightness of her grip. This pain was unbearable, she couldn't handle much longer of this. She felt her shirt that was sticky and stuck to her torso by blood being pried of her ripped skin; going through a pattern if whimpering and screaming.

She felt disinfectant being sprayed on her torso, her stomach completely sunken in with her ribs showing gravely under her skin; she continued to cry in agony.

Luna moved to her head and carefully patted her head. "Shhh. Your ok, just breath." She said, looking at Vince. She sighed and continued petting his head. She looked at her. She hated people in pain and they had just taken in a injured bird. She started humming again, soothing down her hair. She didn't know what else to do.

She felt someone begin to stroke her bloodstained her gently, it soothed her slightly; the pain beginning to subside. She panted heavily, catching her breath; her vision adjusting to her new surroundings.

"Who... Who are you?" She croaked, her voice still just as weak as her condition before.

He handed her the towel she requested, his face burning.

He rolled his eyes, giving her a glare. Standing he went into the kitchen to get some water for the girl. This was insane.

But, he figured that he would let them have some girl bonding time or whatever it was girls did together.

(You guys are posting faster then I can read ^^')

Luna smiled down at her. "My name is Luna, I am a friend. That's Vince, he's ok." She said. She got up for a second and put some water on it and walked back to her. She started cleaning her arms from all the dirt. "Welcome to our little experiment house. There are more people that us, but they are not here at the moment." She said.

"Thanks for saying I'm just okay, Tiger."

Vince called from the kitchen, chuckling slightly before coming back in with a glass of water and a lopsided smile. Giving the water to Luna, he looked at the injured girl who was seeming to regain more consciousness.

"You should rest, we'll make sure a big bad wolf doesn't come. He'll whimper at the sight of the King."

He teased in an amused tone, winking slightly at the girl. Trying to make her smile, though it just seemed to piss Tiger off. Didn't she know he wasn't flirting? Just trying to make the poor girl smile.

She nodded, despite her neck being painfully stiff. "Nice...To meet... you Luna." She paused, swallowing the lump rising in her throat. "I've never... Been good at making... friends."

She looked at the make hybrid, smiling weakly at his remark. "And your... Name would... Be?"

Luna glared at him for a moment before looking back at her. "You can call him Lion Boy if you want." She said, looking at him. She looked back at the girl. "Well that's ok. We can be friends." She said, wiping her forehead. She smiled down at her. "Your safe here." She said, patting her head softly and gently.

She smiled softly up at Luna; being soothed as she wiped her forehead gently. She lifted her hands, eyes widening slightly as she saw them incrusted with dry blood and dried dirt.

"Could I please... Wash myself...up please?"

Luna stopped and looked at her. "Sure, but it's going to be hard to move, I am telling you now." She said, backing away a little. She stood up next to her, her long hair hanging down. She grabbed a hair tie from the table and tied her hair in a side ponytail, her hair kind of sticking out all anime like. She sighed and looked at her with kind eyes. "If you need help, just ask."

She bit her lip, her body extremely stiff as she tried to sit up , falling miserably as she struggled; finally accomplishing the simple task after 10 pure minutes of aggravation and fatigue.

"Luna... Could you help... Me stand please."

Luna smiled and reached her arms around her shoulders and gently lifted her off the couch.

Well, as gently as possible, which probably didn't seem gentle.

She threw her arm over her shoulder, knowing she couldn't stand if she couldn't sit up.

Her legs quivered slightly underneath her, though having gained a little strength from before. She winced slightly due to her grip, but bit her lip to endure the pain.

"Thank you, I should... Be able to manage up the stairs."

Luna chuckled. "If you can't stand without wobbling I think I should help you with stairs." Luna said.

Without waiting for a answer, she started to head towards the stairs. She really hoped Vince wasn't watching them, because he would probably make fun of her for it later.

Kalila smiled gratefully, clutching into the stair rail with her free hand, clambering up the stairs slowly with the support from Luna; who's mind seemed to occupied somewhere else; most likely thinking about that lion-boy. She giggled to herself.

They're so cute together.

Vince walked out of the kitchen again, seeing the two heading up the steps.

"You could have just had me carry you. It might have been faster."

He mused, placing his hands on his head as he moved up the stairs slowly behind them. He was there purely because he didn't want Birdie to fall.

He knees wobbled as she walked, almost losing her balance, falling back a couple of times. "It's okay Lion-Boy , I don't want to bother you." She climbed a few more steps before her miss placing her footing, falling backwards.

Watching her miss place her footing, Vince was behind her to catch her. An amused grin laced his face, "My name's Vince by the way." He chuckled out softly, lifting her into his arms and carrying her up the rest of the steps. He glanced down at her, "Don't listen to Tiger, she's just jealous that I'm giving you more attention."

He mused in a teasing manner, his smile cracking wider.

Luna looked at Vince. "Please." She said, a blush on her face as she looked away. There was no way she actually thought about him like that. She huffed a bit and puffed out her cheeks.

She didn't like him, did she?

She smiled lightly. "Your girlfriend, Luna, seems really nice, thanks for catching me, I think my ankles sprained." She sighed, running her eyes as she got placed down, hobbling to the bathroom, running herself a bath.

Luna blushed a darker red at the girlfriend part. She turned to say something, but it came out like goo so she turned around and stayed quiet. Her exceptional skills in talking were failing her here. She looked at the wall, trying to sort things out. Vince was kind of cu.... NO. Erase that last thought. She did not think that. She shook her head and glared at a wall.

Kalila hummed quietly to herself; a beautiful melodic bird song, as the bathtub filled with hot water, bubbles emerging, welcoming her. She shut the bathroom door, before stripping off her dirt and bloodstained clothes. She looked at her frame in the mirror, gasping.

She was completely skeletal; her ribs, collarbone, and hips extremely prominent, not a single trace of fat to be seen. She stared wide eyed. How long had it been since she had last eaten? 4 months... It had to be bordering that amount of time.

She stepped slowly into the bathtub, accepting it's comforting and beautiful warmth, letting her body soak underneath the water up to her shoulder line, she closed her eyes; enveloping In the warmth, washing herself clean for the first time in what seems like years.

Vince arched his eyebrow, "Girlfriend?" He questioned as he set Birdie down watching her enter the bathroom. He stared at the door for a second before he busted out in laughter, holding his sides his body shook at he laughed even harder.

"Oh.....my........gosh.......she......hahaha.....thought......hahaha..."

He was sure he was dying. He couldn't breathe as he fell into a fit of laughter. Thinking a girl was hot was one thing. But, there would definitely be no relationship of the sort between him and the devil spawn. Tears pricked at his eyes he was laughing so hard, doubling over he started rolling on the ground trying to stop but failing.

She sunk further underneath the water, washing the blood out of her hair, shampooing and conditioning it until it once again became her luscious, silky blonde locks. She scrubbed at her face and body, using rose scented soap until she was sparking clean. She giggled as she played with the bubbles, unfurling her wings; she washed her feathers until they were flawlessly white.

Luna glared at him, ready to tackle him. She continued to glare at him as he started rolling. Luna walked over and rolled him towards the stairs and watched him fall down the stairs. She then started laughing so hard that she couldn't breathe. "AHAHAHAHAHAA AH AH! Cant breathe!" She yelled at him.
