Fantasy The Experiment (Reboot)

Nodding, Vince kicked his door shut with his foot. "So stupid." He grumbled, moving to his bed flopping down on it. Shaking his head he slapped himself in the forehead. How could he get himself out of this one?

Luna walked back to the room next door, shutting the door quietly. She sighed, leaning against the window. She was a girl, but I guess being in a cage for years affected him. She sighed. At the least he had remembered his life. She was taken when she was a little kid. She didn't even remember her parents or anyone from her family.

Staring blankly at nothing, he decided to get up. Walking out of his room, he knocked on her door.

"Hey, Tiger, you want to watch a movie or something?" He questioned trying to break the ice. Ignoring the fact that he even called her hot.

Luna looked at her door and opened it, looking at him. "Sure, I guess. Consider it the fist act as a friend." She said, walking past him and down the stairs. She jumped a few of the steps and walked to the tv. She looked around for some movies and found a whole stack of them. She smiled and brought them out.

Walking down the steps, he plopped down on the couch figuring that he would let her choose the movie.

He watched her bring over a stack of movies.

"Go ahead and pick something. I'm fine with anything." He stated amusingly as he continued to watch her look through the stack of movies.

Luna rolled her eyes and looked though them all. She pulled out Avatar by James Cameron and slid it in the disk drive, sitting down on the couch. She tucked her feet up underneath herself and her tail over her lap. Her ears twitched as the movie started, watching intently. She, truthfully had never seen any movies. She was 5 when she was taken away, so she would have never remembered.

Vince sighed, leaning back as the movie started. Looking over at her he held back a laugh looking back to the screen. He had never seen this movie. Biting the side of his cheek he tried to remember the first movie he ever saw but it came up blank. It frustrated him that he couldn't remember anything before but his mother's screams.

Luna was watching the movie, but it was like her mind was somewhere else. She was trying to recall her memories, but it wasn't working very well. She had only one memory, a song her mother used to sing to her when she was sad or when she would go to bed. That was her only memory. She couldn't even remember faces.

Vince closed his eyes, listening to the movie. Sighing, he opened his eyes yet again watching the movie quietly. He glanced over at her quietly.

Luna looked at Vince and froze. They maintained eye contact for a second before she turned away, her face a bit pink. She started humming a tune to a song she remembered hearing as a child. It was from one of her only memories, or at the least one of the happy ones. She was excluding the part where she was ripped away from her mother and taken to be experimented on.

Vince reached over, grabbing the remote. Pausing the movie he listened to the tune she was humming.

"What song is that?"

He asked quietly, his blue eyes watching her in confusion. He saw the pink in her face but didn't think anything of it. Even if they were going to try being "Friends" She was still the spawn of Satan. He didn't seem to be the only one in deep thought. He had barely payed attention throughout the hour and suddenly this guy was blue and running through the trees with a blue girl.

Luna looked at him. "I don't know really." She said, looking down. She didn't want to tell him her entire depressing life story, he would probably get annoyed or bored. She sighed, her tail and ears flicking. She had stopped humming, her eyes and face contorted into a sad expression. Her entire demeanor had changed, probably because her tough mask was slowly being peeled away.

Kalila stood outside the front door, trembling hard.

She was exhausted, and in excruciating pain due to a tear in her, currently folded in, left wing as she knocked weakly on the door; her human spine aching from many restless nights.

Please... Someone answer... She begged.

Vince looked over his shoulder, he didn't have time to console her.

"You smell that?"

Popping up from his seat he stared at the door for a minuet, he swore he smelled something.

"It smells like-.." He cut himself off as he reached the door.

Vince opened it, blinking as he took in the information that there was a girl who didn't look too good.

"Bird."

He finished looking a little worried about her condition.

Luna got up and went to the door. "Are you hurt? Stupid question, come inside." She said, gesturing for her to come in.

She looked like road kill.

That's not a way to be.

He knees trembled underneath her, struggling to support her weight. She looked up at the person before her through blurry eyes, her cheeks gaunt and tear stained; hunger and exhaustion taking control over this 17 year old hybrid.

"Please..." She croaked, her voice faded. "...help... Me..."

After breathing out those words, she completely collapsed, passing out before her head hit the floor.

Luna looked at the girl. "Vince, help me." She said, lifting one half. If she knew avian, there wings were heavy, something her human body couldn't handle. She picked up her front half and waited for him. She needed to help this girl, who was part bird obviously. She looked at him, her eyes serious.

Vince stared down at the girl.

"Erm..."

It took him a minuet to adjust.

"Right uh help."

Quickly he stooped down to the collapsed girl, he picked her up as if she weighed nothing. He took her entire body in his arms, carrying the girl bridal style.

"Luna, I need you to get me some bandages and uh...ice. Lot's of it."

Vince stated, ignoring the serious tingles going down his spine.

He carried the girl into the living room and laid her gently on the sofa.

He had to admit, she was a little on the heavy side but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle.

Luna nodded and walked to the kitchen and grabbed as much ice as she could get from the ice box and put it in a bag. She passed it to him and went to grab the first aid kit. She came back with it, she sat down next to her. She examined some of her wounds. "She's hurt, bad. It's going to hurt a ton." She said.

She groaned quietly as she felt herself being placed down. She was semi-conscious; awaking slightly now to being out of the freezing rain; yet her entire body burned excruciatingly.

She couldn't open her eyes, she couldn't move.

She could only hope that she was going to be okay.

Luna looked at the burns. "Looks like she got the worst of it before here." She said, looking at the wing. She sighed and pulled out the gauze and she took the ice from Vince. She gently extended the wing, examining the gaping hole in her left wing. She took out the disinfectant and started cleaning it.

Her neck jerked forward as long with the upper half of her malnourished body. She screamed in pain, gritting her teeth through the agonising pain.

She was blinded through pain, tears flowing endlessly down her gaunt face; the tear stairs making a clear path through all the dirt.

Vince nodded, slightly distant as he cleaned the burn on her leg. He noticed her shirt was stained with her own blood and that probably meant she had some kind of laceration on her stomach.

"Not a perv, not a perv, not a perv."

He repeated, lifting her shirt so that he could poor some disinfectant on the would. His face turned red, though he kept his serious face. He looked up at the girl's face, "I know it hurts, just bare with it kid. We're almost done."

He didn't lie but he did stretch the truth a bit. They were about...half way done. Biting his lip he addressed the wound on her torso keeping his eyes no higher then her navel.

Luna looked at her and looked at Vince. "Get a towel." She said, taking some bandages and starting to wrap her wing. She looked at the rest of her. "You may want to take a bath after this. And you will probably need to be careful." She said, continuing to wrap her wing. She cut the bandage and looked at Vince. "Chanting your not a perv isn't going to help, though I appreciate you trying not to look down my shirt this morning." She said.
