Futuristic The Elementals

Spice

Last place is still a place
It is the year of 2050 and everything has changed. Monsters roam the streets and many people are dying from a disease called cholasia passed on to them by the monsters. But, some people are immune. They have been given an elemental power to fight back the monsters and cure the disease. They are called, the Elementals.

Alexandra walks out of her lost uncle's workshop that is now hers with a load of new weapons. Good thing I made this bag that can carry any amount of equipment and still feel light. I wonder what they will think of these. They could be very useful. As she continued on her way, she looked around at all the destruction from the monsters and choleria. These monsters.... Alex shakes her head and continues down the road and is soon standing in front of the government building, the place where she and the other Elementals would be staying. She goes to the front desk and the receptionist looks over to her. "Hello. What can I do for you?" I'm one of the Elementals. My name is Alexandra Kianera. The receptionist goes to the computer and types on the keys and a screen pops up. "Kianera, yes you are in room 1. Thank you. She says then walks down the hall to her room. When she gets the, she enters the room and tosses her bag on the bed. She then pulls out a book and begins to read.

Ahyoka walks into the building. She is carrying her journal and books. Surely this is all I need... right? She walks up to the receptionist and says her name. "I am Ahyoka Falling." Ahyoka? Yes! You are in room 3. "Thank you so much!" She walks into her room, puts away her things and walks outside to practice her powers. She creates little warriors and they have a battle. She laughs at the funny creatures as they stumble around. She thinks of home, how her parents died thinking they were protecting her when the monsters gave them the disease. But, I'm immune. They didn't have to die, I could've saved them. She begins to cry so she goes back up to her room. She lays down in her bed and cries. No! You're stronger than this! She walks up to a mirror and wipes her tears. "Much better." She smiles at her reflection. She loved her parents but they were gone. She couldn't help that.

Ash stretched out lazily on her bed.

"Good god, what time it if?" She grumbled, almost rolling off her bed.

"I should get something to eat," Ash said, putting on some shoes and making herself look at least publicly presentable.

"Off to the shop I go!" She said a bit cheerfully.

On her way to the coffee shop, she passed a girl. She could tell the other girl was an elemental, but Ash's stomach grumbled.

After she got herself something to eat, she headed back to her motel room and grabbed the things she had, throwing them into her bag.

"Off o the government building, I guess..." She mutters, turning her room key in to the front desk before walking to the building.

Makenzi is in the gym. She is punching her punching bag and training to be better. she remembers what her coach said to her before "Be as fast as the wind, Fierce..... But also as calm as the wind" Mak couldnt forget those words as she punched the bag off the chain

Ahyoka decides that she should meet the other people in her group. She could hear someone practicing fighting in the gym. She thought that would be a perfect place to go. She walked over to the gym and greeted the girl who was punching the bag. Ahyoka thought that that was cool so she decided to try as well. She gave a delicate tap to the bag, it didn't move. She hit it harder and it moved. Yay! She continued to do this until she worked up a sweat. "Wow, that was fun." She giggled.

Elizabeth walked down the street, looking at the destroyed and worn away buildings and roads that lay in front of her, all of this because of those monsters and the disease that had spread across the world, killing most people. She sighed, she wished that things were better and the world was a happier place, she wished she could make it better. She continued walking down the street, with her backpack, she also had a quiver on her back full of arrows and in one hand, she carried her bow. She also had some throwing knives in her backpack and any other useful items that might come in handy.

She turned left on the street and looked up, there was a large government building that stood before her, it was a little torn up from the monsters, but it looked fairly newer than most of the buildings she had seen on the way here. That was where other people, the Elementals, as people called them, would be. She was an Elemental too, and she couldn't wait to meet other people like her. She took a deep breath and stepped inside the building.

Done with reading, Alex decides to go check and see if there is a workshop where she can go make even more weapons. She takes her bag that now only has weapons and goes to the main area of the building.

From there she walks over to the map and checks out all the rooms. Seeing that there is no workshop, she sighs then walks back to her room to put her bag back. After that, she grabbed a waterbottle and made her way to the gym. Might as well practice anyway.

When she got there, Alex noticed that two girls were already there. Ignoring both of them, Alex leaned her water against the wall and ran to a dummy and kicked in the face. She then proceed to throw multiple punches and kicks to it, causing its seam to rip more and more, until it completely fell off.

Alex shakes her head then drags the dummy over to the side of the room where her water was. She took a large gulp of water then sat down and began the process of stitching the dummy back together and making it stronger.

Ash heard someone step into the building. She turned to see another Elemental. Ash couldn't tell which Element the girl was, but she just felt the presence of another Elemental.

"Hi, I'm Ash." She said as she walked towards the Elemental girl. "I think we've met before. Elizabeth, I think?" Ash recalled. She had a spectacular memory.

Ahyoka looked at the girl who just broke a dummy. "Wow! That's so cool, you must be really strong." She watched as the girl sewed up the dummy. So far, I've met really cool people. "I think it's time for me to take a break." She walked down the hall back into her room. She got a glass of water and began to learn new things that she could do with her powers. She turned the water into small balls of ice. I could use this for my slingshot! Ahyoka got out her slingshot and a target. She shot at the target for awhile, but then she started getting tired. "Time for bed I guess." She got in her pajamas and fell asleep.

Kai walked the broken streets, hands at his side, near his weapons, as they usually were. I can't believe I'm doing this he thought to himself, Kai was of course referring to the fact that he was on his way to a government building to be apart of some form of team. After receiving the invitation to join, Kai had taken several long days to decide what he wanted to do; he finally decided that he would see if the team idea was worth while, and if not, he would leave. He was never one for teams or groups, after all, joining them never ended well for him; though a change in his life seemed appropriate.

The building had an aura of officiousness, though at night, you could hardly distinguish it from the buildings around; except for the fact that it seemed to be in better condition. Kai entered the building, where he saw a weary looking secretary sitting at a computer; "Hello sir" she said curiously. "I'm here for the elemental teams" He said, looking around at the reception area. "A little late to be joining up isn't it?" the secretary said, Kai glared at the woman, "Does it matter?" he said irritated. "I suppose not, name?" "Kai Ichigo", the secretary typed his name into the data base and gave a fake smile to him, "Room 5 please, welcome".

Kai left the woman without a word, trying to find room 5; down a hallway he found the room, a big number 5 giving it away. Opening the door he saw a room that was mostly empty from lavish things, which wasn't surprising, there were a couple of beds, one of which Kai assumed was his. Kai went up to the bed farthest from the door and set his duffel bag down at the foot, he sat down on the bed and it gave shape to his weight, it was fairly late, and Kai then realized that he was quite tired. Taking off his over shirt and shoes, he laid down in the bed, keeping his weapons close to him of course. He closed his eyes and began to think about a myriad of subjects, not quite ready to drift off to sleep.

"Huh?" Elizabeth looked up as she walked through the front doors and heard a girl say her name. She soon realized that it was another Elemental, her name was Ash, and she remembered her a little bit, but a lot had happened in the time after she had first met her.

"Oh, hey Ash! It's nice seeing you." She replied back cheerfully.

Ash smiled.

'She remembers me.' Ash thought as she began talking to Elizabeth again.

"So how's life been? Pretty okay, or miserable?" She asked, her eyes subtly scanning the room. There were a few Elementals milling around, but not as many as Ash had seen earlier.

Ash looked back at Elizabeth.

"I'll be right back. I've got to go check in." She told Elizabeth as she walked over towards the front desk.

"Hi, I'm Ash Patin." Ash replied. She hadn't signed up with her real name.

Her real name, Trinity, was her mother's name, but after the monsters took her, she refused to use the name, as it brought up painful memories.

Ahyoka woke up with midnight insomnia. "Huh? Rurgh, I need to go back to bed." She got up and went to get a glass of water. After going downstairs, she realized that there were a lot of people there. What is everyone doing? After seeing that the time of day wasn't very obvious, in fact, it seemed to stay pretty light out all day. This confused her. Oh well, while I still have the chance... Ahyoka started to play with her powers a bit more. She discovered that she could drown someone by putting a ball of water around their heads. She quickly stopped using this because she didn't want to hurt anyone.

Ash got checked in and headed to her room. She meant to go back to talk to Elizabeth, but she needed to do something.

She opened the door to her room, walked in, and sat down gingerly on the bed.

Elizabeth and Ash talked for a little bit, but soon after said she had to go, so Elizabeth waved goodbye and decided to walk around and explore the place. She wanted to see if she could meet other Elementals, maybe meet some new ones or see some other Elementals that she already knows. She walked around the place a little bit, walking up a flight of stairs and then walking down a long hallway to see what was at the end.

With the dummy fixed up, Alex decided to try it out. She stood up and kicked right into its side. The dummy worked perfectly and the seam did not even loosen.

Satisfied with her work, Alex walked out, tossing her water bottle in the trash and making her way to the main hall, where many other Elementals had just gotten into it. Well, I might as well go and meet the others. She thought as she strode over to everyone else.

((Little Mak's pc isnt working so im rping for her for now))

Kio Appears in front of the school, her arms crackling with electricity. She may like it here. She hears someone grunting followed by punches coming from her right. she peeks into the room and notices a girl practicing on a dummy, one of which is already destroyed.

Mak: Mak stops as she sits down and drinks some water. She was gonna say something to the girl but she had left for bed. Mak looks into the doorway and notices another girl looking in the doorway. "yes..." she asks

(Forgive me if this is a little lack luster, I'm on my phone and I'm making dinner haha)

Nyxsus was adjusting her utility. Let on her hips, her red eyes glowing faintly in the dimming light. Her brother raven Stroud next to her and kept his blade at the ready pray a monster come upon them.

"Cities gone to hell hasn't it?"

Nyc rolled her eyes.

"Surely you could have picked a better choice of words right?"

As she walked, flowers and grass around het wilted and died in a matter of seconds. At least whatever grass was left in this city. Raven shrugged and smirked, his eyes glowing just as brightly as hers.

"Oh dear sister..You should know by now my humour is quite dry"

Nyc simply shook her head and stopped when she came upon the government building.

"Seems we made it.."

She tucked her hair behind her pointed ear, her silver piercings shinning gently. Raven nodded and motioned for her to enter first.

"Oh aren't you kind"

She smiled gently then walked through the door. The lady at the desk looked less then pleased to have more people coming so late but her look of irate tiredness changed to that of uncomfortable fear.

"U-um..May I help you? "

Raven looked to nyx with the usual look as nyx knew better than to try and talk to the woman. Raven walked up to her and leaned on the desk.

"Yes um we are looKing to check in then? We are here to meet with the other elementals. My name's raven and that's my sister nyxsus Schwartz"

The women's eyes never Left nyx even as she wrote with a shaking hand.

"Yes. .Schwartz. .We have been expecting you. R-rooms 9 and 10 pLease"

Raven nodded then smiled Before grabbing hold of his sister than walking away.

"Well that went well as usual hm? "

Nyx glared at him and raven put his hands up in defense.

"Ok ok sorry"

Alex continues to meet other people until she decided it was time for her to get to bed. She said goodbye to the person she was talking to then walked straight to her room. She unlocked it and entered, and with everything already put away, Alex just changed and hopped into bed. In a matter of seconds she was fast asleep.

(Now it's time for me to sleep too)

She continued exploring until she got very tired and decided that she should probably go to bed. She took out her key to her bedroom that she had a few days earlier, when she had be accepted into this place, and headed down a hallway that led to her bedroom.

Raven and nyx looKed at their keys and started walking down the long hallway. Nyx sighed as she fingered her shirts collar.

"I feel this is pointless. ..we were doing fine alone. Besides how people act around me won't help our problem. They might not even like us at all"

Raved turned his red gaze over to her, crossing his arms as he spoke.

"Just let it be nyx..these people could be fine. And maybe this way we can finally help and get things back to normal. Wouldn't you like that? "

Nyx pursed her lips and avoided eye contact as they came upon their doors.

"You know I would. ..But to tell you the truth, this apocalypse was almost a blessing"

She unlocked her door then walked inside without saying anything else. Raven sighed and shook his head. He unlocked his door and went inside, dropping his bag on the floor before sitting on the bed.

Ahyoka walked back in the building looking at everyone. For this late at night you would think everyone would be asleep. She looked around and saw there were some instruments sitting by a wall. "That looks like fun." She walked over and picked up a guitar. She strummed it to see if it was in tune, it was. She played a song that her mom sang when she was little just for laughs. "Oh, Mr. Camel, blow your nose!" She laughed a little. She then decided to play an actual song. It was still fairly new to her, and she messed up on a note. Oh well. "Cause I'm hopeful, hopeful for today. Take this music and use it, let it take you away and be hopeful, hopeful and He'll make a way. Oh I know it ain't easy but, that's okay. Just be hopeful." This song helped her out when she was sad and missed her parents.

Alex woke up to hearing a guitar being played. She looked outside and noticed it was still dark. Not that she cared, really. She almost never sleeps, believing that that gives the enemy the upper hand.

She followed the sound and found herself in a room with a girl who seemed too into the song to notice her. She decided to see how long it would take for the girl to notice her. She just leaned against a wall and waited.
