The Dragon and the Wolf

Rimaggon nodded slowly. "Okay, so if their master is the Dark Mage, and you're the only Onyx Dragon left, does that mean...?" He trailed off. He meant to add 'we're supposed to defeat the Dark Mage' at the end, but failed to do so.

Rimaggon nodded. "So, we're just going to sit here and wait for those guys to show up again, huh?" he said, "Seems boring yet fun at the same time." He looked at Mir, "Say, what do you Onyx Dragons do for fun?"

"Well... Kind of. You, Master, command me to do it as I couldn't do it myself with my own will." Mir said.

"It's not just what I could do for now..." Mir sighed again, sitting down onto Rimaggon's bed.

"Oh. Do you like, need to grow bigger or something? I read a book once about medieval dragons not being able to breathe fire when they're young." said Rimaggon.

"I'm not that kind of dragon. We Onyx Dragons are special. Just wait for me to grow bigger and I'll show you how I "breathe" fire." Mir said, smiling.

Rimaggon nodded, then his parents called him. "RIMAGGON, COME DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW!"He raised his hand up to Mir as if to say 'Wait'. He went downstairs to meet his angry-looking parents. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN, YOUNG MAN?!" Rimaggon gulped, "Urm... the forest...?" he said. "WHY DID YOU GO THERE?!" "Hunting...?" "Fine." said his mother, a little more calmly. "You should've told us." "I wanted to capture the other moose. I saw another one..."

They continued their conversation until Rimaggon went back upstairs and plopped on his bed, right next to Mir. He looked outside to notice it was night. "Looks like it's time for you to go to your nest." Rimaggon yawned then he fell asleep with his legs dangling on the side of his bed,

Mir nodded and flew up to his "nest". He took his time to get comfortable before slowly but surely fell asleep.

The Next Morning...

Rimaggon yawned and found himself on the floor. "What the--" He didn't get to finish what he was going to say because a pillow fell on him. He sat up and stretched.

"That was a weird dream. I was a master of a blue Onyx Dragon that could do magical stuff but I need to tell him he can do that." he muttered.

Mir was still sleeping in his nest although the sun was up high.

Rimaggon stood up and yawned again. He looked out the side window to try and spot some animals. Instead, he spots some kind of shadow on the ground he looks up and sees something... blue. What is that? he thought to himself as he carried himself out the window and climbed up on the roof. He stared at the sleeping figure on the stone bowl. "That wasn't a dream. At all." he said with wide eyes. Then, he black out for unknown reasons.

".....H-Huh?.... Master?" Mir sleepily woke up and looked at Rimaggon "sleeping" next to him, not knowing what happened.

Rimaggon's eyes shot open. He tried to sit up but couldn't. It was like he was paralyzed... or maybe HE WAS! "...Mrrr." he called Mir. "Mrrr!"

Rimaggon tried to say that he couldn't move but it came out as, "R curnurt murv." Then, "Crn ru roo surm kurn urf trick ur surmthring?"

I cannot move. -------------------Can you do some kind of trick or something?

Inside, Rimaggon was screaming. Outside, he just stared at the dragon. "Wu--" Suddenly, a knife was impaled on the empty space beside him. "Furrrr!" He tried to roll to the side. He didn't care if he broke any bones, he wanted to survive. Then, he bobbed his head forward then...

"EWR!" He landed on the ground. Face first. "Mrrr, surv yursulf!" From the corner of his eye, he noticed two cloaked figures. "..."
