The Dragon and the Wolf

"G-Gah!" Mir grunted in pain and panicked as the knife impaled Rimaggon. He felt the same pain on his back but it's not as intense as Rimaggon's. Mir then flew up and shot two beams at the two cloaked figure, trying to save Rimaggon.

Rimaggon watched as two beams were shot at the two figures. He didn't remember saying anything to Mir... or did he? He didn't know. Then, he regained control of his body and sighed an relief. From his left arm, there was no wound or anything but blood was dripping from it. What the... He looked up at Mir and gestured for him to come down. Maybe the dragon knew what was happening.

Rimaggon showed Mir his bleeding arm, "I'm not wounded or anything, but it's bleeding." he said. If he had a wound, it was by his leg, a cut. "Do you know why it's bleeding?"

"The darkness weapons drain blood out of you although they won't leave a wound... It's like a poison but its effects will disappears soon..." Mir answered with a slight frown.

"Hey Mir, when the Masters of the past first found out they were masters of the Onyx Dragons, did they have a hard time trying to catch up with... these stuff?" asked Rimaggon, gesturing to his surroundings, not noticing that the blood had stopped dripping.

Rimaggon sighed. "Oh well. Those two guys in cloaks could be the ones trying to find you, don't you think?"

Mir nodded with a sigh.

"I think they are trying to kill you and take me but they didn't know that if they do, I'll be useless." Mir said with a slight frown.

"When you are hurt, part of the pain will transfer to me and vice versa. If they kill you with a physical weapon, It will be too painful for me to move or do anything. If it's poison then I'll be too sick to do anything and so on." Mir explained.

"Oh. Since we have like, a 'pain connection', can we speak in our thoughts or something?" asked Rimaggon. He had a lot of questions, but this was only one of them.

Rimaggon's jaw dropped. "Awesome. But I don't have any privacy anymore." he said. Then, he scanned Mir's figure. "I don't know if you grew bigger, you still look the same." Rimaggon was suddenly tackled down by something. Well, more like someone. Rimaggon looked at Mir and decided to try out the telepathy thing. Run! Fly! Whatever, just hide!

Mir's eyes opened wide and flew up quickly to his nest, hiding, sometimes peeking over the roof, watching Rimaggon...

Rimaggon stood up and helped the person stand up as well. The person was... "Rimmie, I missed you!" Oh. The person was Helen. She was a sheep person. Rimaggon was once told that she had a crush on him.

"Oh hey, Helen. Where've you been?" he asked. Helen giggled, "At my grandma's house."

"Okaaay... I'm just going to go hunting..." he said before quickly turning to the direction of his house's window.

"MOM, DAD, I'M GOING HUNTING!" He then bolted off the the forest, leaving Helen pouting.

Mir, come on. Let's spy on 'em again.

Mir crawled to the side of the house hidden from the sheep before flying to Rimaggon quietly, trying not to be spotted.

"I'm here..." Mir whispered, hovering next to Rimaggon.

Rimaggon nodded at Mir, showing that he heard him. "Alright, so if the Cloaked Men were in that cave last night, do you think they're still there?" he asked him.

Rimaggon nodded. "Guess we'll just have to try our luck." he said as he headed deeper into the forest. "Do you think if I trip, I'll end up in their hiding place? I tripped when I found your cave."

Rimaggon nodded and tried to trip himself. He tried kicking roots but ended up hurting his foot. He tried pushing himself, but his sudden reflexes prevent him from falling down purposely. "Argh, I'll never find their hiding spot." he grumbled as he placed a hand on a tree. Or at least, he tried to. He held onto thin air and fell to the side. "Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow." He was bouncing slightly as he stumbled down. As he reached the end of his 'trip', he heard voices.

"The boy hasss a ssstrong will. He will not be easssily ssswayed."

"I know. But we will be able to find out his bigessst desssiresss."

"Oh, I already know of your plan. You are a geniusss."

Mir's face was blank of expression as he knew what Rimaggon was doing and kind of worried for the two of them. He sighed and followed Rimaggon as he stumbled into Their liar.

Rimaggon hid behind a bush and listened in into the men's conversation. Maybe they'll say something about their master, who knows?

"If we manage to get the boy on our ssside, the dragon will not hesssitate."

"But, our massster hasss ordered us to kill him, remember?"

"Ah, yesss, I have forgotten. I take back what I sssaid about you earlier."

"...Anyway, the boy will have to sssurrender the dragon next week."

"And if he doesss not?"

"We will kill him. No exceptionsss. No excusssesss. No anything."

Rimaggon gulped and looked at Mir. "Did I just hear what I thought they said?"

Mir nodded with a tensed look in his eyes. His ears twitching a bit at the men's words, worried for him, Rimaggon and the world. If Rimaggon is killed, he wouldn't be much use unless there is someway the Dark Mage could drain his powers and his life away from him. That'd leave nothing can destroy him.
