The Dragon and the Wolf

"Yet? What do you mean? Will you be informed or something?" said Rimaggon. "Because if you will, how will you be informed? And why do look like you're thinking about something? Is there like, a legend or something?"

"Well that's helpful." said Rimaggon sarcastically. He then tripped on a lose floor board and fell on the floor with a thud. "Ow."

"Fine, fine, just perfect." he said while rolling his eyes. "Quick question: does it take centuries for you to turn into a huge dragon?"

Rimaggon looked at Mir. "Like, a week or something?" he asked him. Her. It. "And I know this is an awkward question but are you a guy or a girl?"

"I'm male and no. It won't take a week. That'd be a little too fast." Mir smiled innocently.

"What? A year?" Rimaggon asked Mir. "And stop smiling like that. It makes me think that you burned something and you don't want anyone to find out."

Rimaggon sighed. "Okay. But if I see you all grown up tomorrow, I'm going to freak out. And, we need to make you some kind of shelter because my parents my come into my room without me knowing. Where do you want to stay? A nest on our roof, a nest in a tree, or back at the cave?"

"Anywhere should be fine. I just need to be near you and could get to you anytime." Mir said.

"On the roof it is." said Rimaggon. He looked around for something that could act as a nest until his gaze landed on the stone bowl on the bed he gave Mir earlier. "Did you bring that with you?"

"Eh, oh well. It's useful." he said as he took it and then went outside the side window. He climbed up the roof and placed the big bowl on the roof. After that, he missed a step and instead of climbing down, he fell down on the ground with a loud thud. "The nest's ready." he grumbled.

Rimaggon nodded. "Yeah." he said, wincing slightly because his back hurt. He sat up and pointed at the roof, "Your stone nest is up there. Check it out. You can also view the entire village from up there."

"Thanks." Mir chuckled before flying up to the roof and landed on his nest.

"Whoa... I can really see the whole village from up here..." Mir thought to himself, looking around.

Rimaggon stood up. "If it rains, just go under my bed." he called to him before two men in black trench coats entered the village. A pair of glowing red eyes could be seen under their hats. All the talking ceased and all the townspeople were focused the two men. "We're looking for a blue egg, as big as a water bottle. Anyone sssssssseen one?"

Rimaggon pushed himself to the wall to avoid being seen. He looked up and in a hushed whisper, "
Mir, go see what's going on."

"No, we haven't seen wan. The honly eggs we have here har white. Chicken heggs, to be hexact." said a lizard guy. The two men looked at each other before saying, "We know that one of you have the egg. We will give you one week for you two return it. Once we come back here and you do not give usssssss the egg, we will dessssstroy all of you." Then the men walked away, leaving the town quiet.

Rimaggon looked up again, "
So, what happened?"

"They are searching for me... Or especially... my egg. Seems that they didn't know about I hatched before they came..." Mir flew back and reported, hovering inside Rimaggon's room.

Rimaggon nodded at Mir's report and ran back inside his room. "Seems like those people are up to something. Ya up for spying on them tonight?"

"I-I don't know... But I'll go with you." Mir answered hesitantly, sitting on Rimaggon bed as he answered him.
