Realistic or Modern The Daily Lives of Toyko Teens

Haruka slid against a side wall of the concert hall with his chin against his raised knees. He hand was curled up into a fist as he frowned. He stared towards the ceiling of the concert hall allowing himself to calm down.

"She... didn't come" he murmured before he shook his head. He opened his hand and look at the note before closing his eyes and allowing the cool air from the window come in.

"Food? Okay let's go look and maybe we can see if Haruka is available during his break." Mahiro said as he lead through the crowd of people who were also going out for the intermission. "Haru look, they some fancy food over there." He said pointing. @macaron @Cami

(Is it Kira? Or the girl whose name starts with an 'E' that was hinted that he had a crush on? ;. ;)

Taro watched the guy as he played, he was not really into piano music but it was kinda cool, he was in a rock band himself so hard rock was what he was used to, he liked rock but more soothing music like this helped him feel at ease, but he kept remembering the sad truth, he would have to go home soon and pay more rent and try to get more food, he was in a constant battle with money and so far he was losing very step of the way.. Taro sighed and sat down hoping no one would come in during intermission

(Ah....oh, I see....then we have to go and comfort Haruka! It's out job as his friends; you, too, @BlackJack - bring Taro along. :3)

(LOL, 'bulky Taro')

"We will get food later okay Haru. Let's go find Haruka first before he has to go on stage again." Mahiro said as he grabbed her Hans again and led Haru toward the backstage area. "Haruka you here? He called out as he looked around.

He asked a backstage crew where they had last seen him and that led him anf Haru to stumble upon him sitting against the wall. Mahiro quickly frowned knowing something was wrong. " Haruka? Whats wrong? Are you okay?" He asked as he knelt down in front of him. @macaron @Cami

"She didn't even come, all of this was worth nothing" he said whilst rubbing his eyes quickly to wipe away any tears that may have spilled. He looked away from Mahiro, anywhere but his friends eyes. It would just remind him of it all over again.

"She was supposed to come, I made sure of it. I planned it so well.." he whispered bitterly. As he leaned his head against Mahiro's shoulder and sighed. Right now all he wanted to do was to sleep and wake up to another normal day.

"Rihito was right, it was a long shot" he spoke. His brother always seemed to be right for some reason.

Haru nodded, allowing herself to be pulled along again. "Haruka," she called out softly. She found the said male leaning against the wall, seemingly depressed. She knelt down beside in front of her friend as Haruka leaned against Mahiro. She was indeed curious about who this 'she' was, though her guesses may be Kira....but of course, it was rude to ask, and Haruka seemed uncomfortable with the subject.

A bit nervous, as she didn't know what to do, she pat Haruka's shoulder, quite awkwardly. She needed to research more on comforting people, and she made a mental note to do so. She tilted her head at the name 'Rihito,' as she never heard of it. But again, she decided not to ask. She just wondered what she should say--she had no experience in how to comfort someone....

(@Cami @Tempesta)

She? Who could he be talking about? Rihito? Mahiro bit his lip as he tried to think of something to comfort him. He looked up at Haru for a second saw that she didn't know what to do either. Not a second later Mahiro wrapped his arms around Haruka in a tight hug.

"Haruka it's okay..." He said lowly. "I don't know who this person was that misses your performance, but this wasn't a waste. Your a great piano player and I enjoy hearing you play, and I'm sure the rest of the audience agrees." Mahiro added with a light smile as he clung on.

@Cami @macaron

Haru was glad that Mahito made the first move. "I agree with Mahiro," she said. "Don't let yourself think it was a waste. Music is never a waste." She smiled, recalling Haruka's amazing performance.

"You know I never liked the piano" he laughed bitterly but clung onto Mahiro and let his fingers slide between Haru's.

"But dad told me she loved it, I thought maybe, just maybe, I would get her attention and I wouldn't be alone anymore. I'd at least have one parent who could bare me" he spoke sadly as he looked to the ground. He played with Haru's fingers gently and gave them a squeeze.

"But maybe life isn't like that" he smiled as he stood up and kissed the side of Mahiro's cheek. It was signalled that the second half of the performance was going to begin. He rubbed the back of his neck and smiled sheepishly.

"I guess it's time to go please the audience" he laughed but chocked out at the same time.

Mahiro couldn't help but frown when Haruka told his story. Dislike piano? Dad told him she loved it? Parent? Is about his mother? His thoughts where then interrupted from the peck on cheek, causing a light blush to arise.

He stood up along with him, his icy gaze fixated on him "Haruka... Are you sure you can perform?"
