"Funny, actually. I'm pretty much here for the opposite reason. Living in the housecwith my family all these years, I needed to get away from them, catch a break, you know? And yeah, the money would be pretty nice."

"Yeah, I can kind of relate to that. Another reason why I came here was because my dad is always so controlling. Won't let me do anything on my own. Surprised he let me even come here without having 24 hour security footage of everything that I was doing."

"Wow, that really sucks. Well at least you're here now", Anna says feeling a lot more comfortable conversing with her new friends. She takes a few more bites of pizza and leans back in her chair, relaxed.

Jacob

Jacob nods as they talk about their families. "You should of seen my mom before I got on that bus. She almost emptied my entire suitcase in front of the bus driver, just to see if I packed my toothpaste." He gave another small laugh.

Adelaide laughed. "My dad wouldn't let me even take the bus! Didn't trust the bus driver not to crash the bus, he had to drive me here on his own so he knew I'd be safe."

Jacob

"Oh, man. I'd die if that happened. I feel for you Adelaide." Jacob said with a sympathetic smile. A counselor came around and gave 'em a bottle of cream soda, and three cups. It looks like they were handing out beverages to every table. Jacob poured himself a cup, and then filled the two other cups for Adelaide and Anna.

Anna laughs along with Jake, enjoying the little anecdote, and then at Adelaide's, but eyeing Jake longer than necessary. Wow, he's funny.. And pretty cute, I have to admit. Anna smiles at Jake and then it crosses her mind that they're here to compete and she can't think of anyone as anything other than competition. Her smiles vanishes and she looks at Adelaide, and in response says, "That's actually pretty funny. Be grateful you didn't take the bus though, it smelled", Anna said making a face.

Anna graciously accepts the drink and takes a small sip, giving a polite smile to Jake.

Adelaide took the cup and smiled at Jake. "Thank you." She said, taking a sip. "Well, at least you didn't have to sit in an hour car ride with my dad. You've heard dad jokes, but you haven't heard my dad's dad jokes. Imagine the cringeyness of a regular dad joke and multiply that by a hundred. I had to sit through that for an hour."

Jacob

"Oh God. That's terrible." Jacob said while looking at Adelaide. "Could you of not have listened to music on the radio, or maybe on your phone... or something? I wouldn't be able for that. As soon as my dad starts thinking he's funny I put my headphones on." Jacob laughed again, before taking a sip of the cream soda. This one tasted differently to the cup he had just a few minutes earlier.

Adelaide shrugged. "I didn't want to be rude. He saw the drive as "daddy daughter time" he would be pretty crushed if I just ignored him through it. I wanted to, badly, but I just didn't have it me."

"Okay, honestly, I've been sitting out here for an hour and no one came to even say hi? Cute, really cute. Oh well I'll find another way to make "friends"." Hannah walked in the building where everyone was talking and laughing and having a good time. She started doing cheers for her team. "Who rocks house? We say that Yakii rocks house, and when Yakii rocks house we rock it all the way down!" She would also do some basic cheers and things she learned at cheer camp. "We got spirit yes we do, we got spirit how about you?" She would continue doing this for a bit until the members of her team where cheering along with her. She was happy that she started something. Just then, the leader of the camp came in the building. "Good job Yakii showing team spirit before the competition." He threw her a white clothespin labeled "bone" "Those are bones, they will help you gain 10,000 points." Hannah, being pleased with her job smirked a bit. "I bet you all are excited for your first competiton right?" Cheers arose from the crowd. "Meet me at the hill with one person from each team to represent their tribes." Hannah was so happy to hear that only one person would be representing. Makes it easier to decide who to vote off. "Oh one thing before I go, bones are hidden around the camp. We spent all night hiding around 400 bones everywhere. Good luck campers!" He left the building. Hannah was determined to win. She raced out the door on a bone hunt.

~Butch~

___________

Butch was late, but sent a text warning the individuals. He was incredibly hung over, he had fun last night. They already picked his team and everything, wasn't really a big surprise anyway, Butch was obviously going to be put on the strongest team. He was five miles out now, speeding down the forest road on his dirt bike. Once he entered the premises, he almost skidded off his dirt bike. The counselors running out of the building, throwing him his team shirt and bag. "You're Ute! Yeah, I know, 'Big Shocker'! Go join everyone else, there's an event going on now!" She was very into this, Butch taking his old white tee-shirt off and throwing it on the ground. He put the new one on, and started walking towards the group of other 'campers'. Reluctantly, he decides to engage them in conversation. "
Alright... I heard something about the first event starting? Sorry I'm late or whatever, names Butch." He wasn't really talking to anyone in particular, since everyone seemed to be a tad but frantic now. Especially the crazy chick he saw cheering as he pulled up.

Hannah came back with about 3 bones on her necklace. "You guys are pretty much handing me the money if you don't even try to get these. I mean, there still isn't any hope, because Yakii dominates. But you could at least try." If I pretend to have team spirit enough maybe I can start gaining control. "Anyways, if everyone on my team is fine with it I'd prefer to sit this one out and cheer you on. Because the most spirited team gets 200,000 points. Obviously we need to win because that would give us 300,000 points. So if we are the most spirited and won we would have around 500,000 every time. We would definitely be safe then." Hannah doesn't want her team to lose because she doesn't even want to think about going home until finals. On a loudspeaker you could hear the owner's voice. "I need your people who are doing the competition to please get ready. The competition will begin as soon as everyone from every team has checked in."

Adelaide turned to Jacob. "I think you should represent Chua on that hill thing. I haven't met the rest of the team, but I think they would agree. We also have to do something about Yakii, maybe try to do something to get ahead. Any ideas?" She asked.

"You're Ute! Yeah, I know, 'Big Shocker'! Go join everyone else, there's an event going on now!", Anna hears from a distance. She looks over the moment she hears the name "Ute" since she hasn't even met anybody from her tribe yet. Anna sighs in relief since now she doesn't have to do this event herself by default of being the only Ute around. The guy who was told he's in Ute walks over to the crowd, somewhat near me, and says, "Alright... I heard something about the first event starting? Sorry I'm late or whatever, names Butch." Anna walks over to Butch and says, "Heard you're in Ute, I am too." She holds out her hand, "Anna.", introducing herself. Well, he doesn't look any friendlier than me, but I hope we get along because if not, this tribe is screwed.

"Yeah, cool, nice to meet you and all that." Butch quickly shook her hand, immediately putting his hands into his pockets. "What's the story behind these bones, though? We on hollowed ground? Because that shit irks me, to be honest." Butch started averting his attention toward the cheer-chick with bones hanging around her neck. "They said they needed a person, fuck it, I'm down. That cool with you?" It wasn't that Butch was nervous or anything, he just wanted to get this shit over with so he could possibly sleep. He's been up all night, and seriously needed something to eat also. He didn't notice the pizza. "I'm fuckin' starving, though. Got anything I could nibble on, like the fuckin' squirrel I am?"

"Umm, there's pizza inside. As for the competition thing, sure, you could do it if you want.", Anna responds to Butch. She looks over at chick with the bones around her neck as she says, "As for the bone thing.. They said some of them were hidden around here. You get extra points or something if you find them. I wouldn't make myself crazy over looking for them though." Better to stick to the main competition here; the bones won't mean anything if you lose everything else.

Jacob

"Sure, I wouldn't mind." Jacob says in response to Adelaide. Jacob thought to himself for a few moments. "I'll be honest, I don't have a clue. I am in good physical shape, if I do say so myself. So, I'll definitely be able to hunt for the bone... things."

Maybe I can trick one of 'em into helping me?

Jacob smiled. "We're the social tribe, right? I could always try and befriend the representative of each tribe. It might be tough, but, I could fool them into them telling me where some bones are." Jacob said, with a grin.

It wasn't the best plan, but... it could just work.

Hannah looked around the building. "So, where's the fourth tribe at? That's kind of freaky." She saw a couple of people were looking at her. As long as they're looking I might as well give them a show. Hannah got out a bottle of paint and painted her teams faces, along with herself. She started doing some sort of a dance as the tribe followed her. One of her clothespins labeled "Bone" fell off while she was jumping around and hit a guy in the face. "Oh, oops I'm so sorry!" She remembered this guy from somewhere, but couldn't quite put where. Just then she remembered it. She saw him on one of the shows that she liked to watch. It was about following newly arrested teens in prison. This was Butch. He almost killed the guy the camera crew were following just because he looked at him. Seems like a perfect first victim. "Butch... LeDouche was it?" She smiled trying to look innocent. Over the loudspeaker you could hear the announcer. "Since no one from Makah has shown it looks like the tribes being represented are Hannah for Yakii, Butch for Ute, and Jacob for Chua. Meet up at the hill for your competition." Hannah wasn't very excited that she would be competing in this. If she failed she could get sent home, and that wouldn't be very fun. She made her way up the hill, carrying her tribe's flag and singing songs that they had made up.

Jacob

"Well, I should get going. Cheer for me." Jacob said with a grin as he looked at Adelaide. He waved at her, and left the small shack. It was quite a long trek up the hill. I should've brought boots, I ain't getting nowhere with these sneakers. He looked at his competition. Butch, and... Hannah? He was trying to figure out which one he could have an easier time becoming friends with.

With nothing involving Anna going on, she wanders off around the building and sees a dam looking structure near the trees. Curious, Anna walks towards them and bends down to examine what exactly it is. She sees sticks, twigs, and twine tangled up and tied together in some formation that isn't even really a shape. Puzzled, Anna furrows her eyebrows. She takes her flashlight, which came with the supplies she received after arriving, and turned it on, pointing it towards the hole in this stick structure. At first she sees nothing, but as she examines further with the flashlight, she sees some objects piled up towards the back of the opening. Without moving the flashlight from the spot, she sticks her other hand into the opening and grabs the pile of objects that she sees. Pulling them out, she realizes that they are bones! Five of them! She glances back at the crowd and concludes that no one is even paying attention to her. Anna quickly puts the bones in her pocket, springs up from her knees, and casually walks back towards the group.

Hannah blasted up the hill. She knew that her energy would mean everything in the competition. She also has a strategy. She saw that Butch was climbing up the hill but struggling. "Need help?" She reached out her arm to help him up. "I'm intimidated by Chua. Do you want to team up against Jason if we can?" She helped him as they walked up the hill. "Welcome to your first competition. Today we are playing a game I like to call Atlas' Revenge! You can see that behind me there is a giant mud pit. Inside there are three spots, one for each of you. You will get in and keep the giant ball that I will throw in out of your section. At a random time I will blow a whistle and the spot where the ball is is the team that is eliminated. (i.e. if the ball lands in Yakii's section when the whistle blows, Hannah would be out.) This will continue until there is one person left. The last person standing wins. Good Luck." Hannah changed into clothes that she could get dirty and hopped into her section of the pit. She slipped and fell so she had mud all over her. Time to win that spirit stick. "When I say Yakii you say spirit! Yakii! Spirit! Yakii! Spirit! I! I! I believe! I believe! I believe that! I believe that! I believe that we will win! I believe that we will win! I belive that we will win! I believe that we will win!" Hannah was jumping up and down and really just having fun with it. "Who rocks house? We say that Yakii rocks house, and when Yakii rocks house we rock it all the way down!"
