Fantasy The Break of Dawn - The Four Elements Sequel (OPEN TO ALL)

Cassandra let out a sigh of relief as she walked towards the gates of the Shadow Empire. She had gotten what she wanted, albeit not easily. She was just glad she'd gotten the job done and over with. To be honest, she was expecting the general of the Shadow Realm to be much more fiercer looking. Satsuki, however, was the complete opposite. Well, she'd learnt not to judge a person by their looks anymore. She rubbed her throat, which was still aching from the General's fierce grip.

She reached the gates, where an interesting looking man was keeping guard. She could feel the pure evil radiate from his body. She loved.

"
Will you let me pass, kind sir?" she said in a cocky tone.

@Aur0ra

A blond stood in front of Lucifer asking him if she could pass, she didn't look like she was from the shadow kingdom, ''filthy filthy creatures of the upper world'' he said, his grin never leaving his face as his eyes flickered with hate: ''what business does a lowly creature like yourself have in our world?'' he wondered how the girl was able to get in in the first place, thought about it then decided to respect her, not every day does someone pass from the other world into the shadow realm passing his traps as he slept anyways. ''you must have passed the tests while I was asleep'' he said cupping his chin in his hand: ''I'm a crime if you attempt it......shame on thee, If I'm committed thou wilt go free. what am I?" he asked her his riddle then crossed his arms, if she did answer the riddle, she shall pass, if not how ever, well he would kill her for the soul reason of being a filthy stranger who luckily got into the shadow realm.

OOC: (If you don't know the answer i can tell it in the OOC xD ) @Felicis

Cassandra smirked. She had no intention of answering the riddle, let alone stay in the filthy kingdom any longer. Besides, who did the bastard think he was. He wouldn't be challenging her if he'd known that one word from her lips and she would standing atop his shattered bones. "I wouldn't take that tone if I were you," she said, thinking, this one is going to be a challenge. Cassandra loved a challenge. "My past experiences have taught me to never challenge a person without any knowledge of where they come from." She leaned towards him, and menacingly stroked the bottom of his chin. "And do you know where I come from? Your general's very own bedroom."

Nodding at the idea the young general smiled : ''yeah, a festival of lights will be great, the students here can show off what they've learned as a segment, it will probably get more people to be interested in improving their bending'' Aria's mind was always working to improve her people so they can defend themselves against any danger, a festival would be great to demonstrate everything: ''I'm counting on you to get them together though'' looking up at the main building the young air general was surprised to see someone with green hair lurking near the library: ''who on earth is that?" she smiled at Lyra and both girls started floating until they reached the big open window and descended right in front of the green haired guy: ''may i help you with something?'' Aria said in a gentle voice as she crossed her arms
@CrazyNotChaotic @Aelos (it's ok, have fun in school)
Moon was startled by the young woman, and tried his best to not look suspicious. "Ah, no I'm alright, I think . ." He looked around uncomfortably. "I'm just going to the library, sorry to bother." Moon desperately prayed that she wouldn't question him any more and just let him go, somehow he suspected this wouldn't be the case. He smiled weakly. "Could you point me in the direction of the library?"

He rubbed his arm, wincing as he pressed on the bruise from earlier. He wearily remembered that he had a salve in his bag that would help, but that would have to wait for later.

The smile on Lucifer's face widened as he leaned forward more while the blonde stroked his chin and kissed her bottom lip then pulled back: ''I'm more than four thousand years old love, I'm not threatened, The name's Lucifer keeper of the gate, I've been here long before my precious general was around dearie'' he said with madness showing in his eyes: ''The riddle stands blondie, answer or go back to my beloved Satsuki, I haven't seen her in a while, she did have a very nice bedroom though'' the demon floated and sat in mid air as if he was sitting on an arm chair and crossed his legs: ''once you answer the riddle once, you won't be asked another as long as you come and go, forgive me for I don't really believe you were with my beloved general, she would have at least.....told you the answer for today's riddle, unless of course...she sent you here to die'' the demon snickered looking at the blonde girl.

@Felicis

With her usual kind smile the young general uncrossed her arms looking at the green haired guy who now looked confused: ''I didn't mean to distress you, I thought you were a thief, forgive me'' she smiled then continued: ''I'm Aria, the one running this academy, anyone is welcome in the library for as long as they want, just make sure you use the contents of it wisely and for a good purpose'' the young general started walking towards the library: ''follow me'', The library was only two rooms away, the grand door was so big and obvious that she was surprised the guy didn't see it right away. After opening the twin doors she got inside looking around the beautiful big hall, the library consisted of more than ten thousand books about magic, medicine, healing, herbs, creatures, history: ''be careful not to get lost'' she smirked

"Yes, it is." Tai manages to say in between breaths. He wipes his brow then takes a look up at the girl peaking into his smithy. With a deep breath and a deft motion of his hand, he tosses the spear head into the bucket and expels his breath onto the next one.
Bang..bang..bang..bang...

Tai continues his beating, pounding with the very lifebeat in each swing. As he remains absorbed in his task, he hears the voice of someone. "Connect your soul..." or something like that. They are important by the sound of it, but he cannot put his finger on who is speaking.

The guard that is standing in his smithy, one whom he had not yet acquired a name for, walks out before he can ask. Seemingly distracted by something else.

"Oh well.." Tai pours another heaping of flame onto the anvil, and continues his work.
"Im back, sorry. Hi!" Clara came back as she.formally walked inside, and sat on the nearest chair she could find. "I got distracted." She smiles at the individual and watched him do his work. "Your name is Kai isn't it?" Clara looked at him with interest and redid her bun at the top of her head. She smiles again at him and looked at his work. The order was huge---she wondered why General Aria would order that many. "I'm Clara, a fairly new guard. Well, sort of."

@CrazyNotChaotic

My gosh it's like crazy to kind, your characters xD ))

"Thank you!" Moon said, slightly breathless. He had never seen a library like this, it was beautiful and intimidating. He could spend a lifetime here and still barely scratch the surface. He began to wander up the stairs and soon found a particular book about rare magical herbs, he flipped through it but soon realized most of it was about magic potions or spells. He moved onto the next book, and the next.

After going through about five books mostly focusing on magic he ran his hand through the already messy green hair, frustrated. He should have known that a magic academy would have books about magic. He had only found one book on actual medical uses for certain plants, but the book was really a handwritten journal, old and faded with spidery handwriting that was hard to decipher.

"Am I the only one without power here? Would that make my medicines less useful to these people then? Why is it there's no place for people like me." Moon thought aloud to himself, and climbed up the stairs, hoping to find some tucked away niche to start reading the journal.

Cassandra smirked. She was enjoying this immensely. "Well, you can tell your general that I won't be dying anytime soon." She pulled his face closer, and whispered into his ear, "Suicide." She let him go, victory flashing in her eyes.

And @Aur0ra ))

"A light festival sounds fun! I can work with the other fire benders!" She got excited thinking about the party and nodded at her. "I'll get everyone here! I don't know about Thea though. She's traveling isn't she?" Lyra then remembered Cassandra. Where in the world was she? They had to rile up the fire benders and set up the event. A concil meeting for sure. "We'll need to do a meeting."

''Everyone has powers'' the young general smiled following the guy looking at the books, ''you....you just happened to look at the magic faction'' she shrugged and started looking at the side which contained magic less books: ''Everyone has powers you know, you don't have to be an elemental to have powers, some people's powers lay in there intelligence, patience, tactics, bravery. Not everyone with magic possesses that. Maybe you just didn't find your power yet. Ah what's that?" she picked up two books, one had a green beautiful cover of a Phalenopsis orchid, the other had a golden cover and looked more like a journal. The young general opened the journal and started reading: ''I always thought I never belonged, till I discovered I didn't wield only one...but two elements. People are starting to fear me, I'm starting to become stronger'' handing the green book to the green haired guy who she didn't yet know the name of Aria sat at the table across from him and engaged herself in reading the journal. She nodded as Lyra mentioned a meeting: ''a meeting would be good'' she replied at her and continued reading

@CrazyNotChaotic @Aelos

Lucifer bowed to the young blonde run his fingers through her long beautiful hair:
''well done, you're welcome to come back anytime. Any friend of the general is favored by me'' he said, his grin still on his face as he stepped away from the gate and opened the two shadow doors with a snap of his fingers

Tai's eyes follow the female guard as she peaks back in and takes a seat. He continues flaming one spear head after another, shaping it and tossing it into the bin. He notices her un-comfort at the high temperature in the room, and tries his best to dial back some of the heat, whilst continuing work.

"No, it isn't kai." He smiles lightly at her mistake. "I am Tai, Tai Ren. A new blacksmith."

Tai extends his hand to Clara, but then notices how mucky and black his work has turned it.

"Haha, sorry." He says trying to suppress a laugh. "What's your element?"

Clara watched him do his work once again with interest. She noticed how the temperature went down as her body relaxed. It was like water---she felt like she would steam at any moment. She almost didn't hear him until she had called him the wrong name. "Oh, sorry! Tai, Tai. I hear you are a legendary blacksmith." Clara was going to offer her own hand when she looked at his. She laughs, and took his hand anyways. "Water." Clara answers as she looked over at him.

"Thanks." Moon smiled warmly at the girl. "By the way, I'm Moon. I'm not used to people helping me, most people laugh at me because I'm not an elemental." He sighed and opened his bag, pulling out a small blue pot filled with a sweet smelling salve. He gingerly pulled his sleeve up and rubbed some on the ugly looking bruise, he winced and put his things back into his bag.

"What's your name?" Moon asked as he began to read the green covered book.

"Hah!" Tai's face reddened at Clara's statement of him being a legendary blacksmith. "I am no legend," He says as he wipes his hands on his blacksmith apron. "But my grandparents, in the earth kingdom. They are legends, of both martial arts and smithing. I'm just carrying the torch." Another smile cracks Tai's face.

"Maybe you could help me with my work, if you have nothing else to tend to?" Tai raises a brow and sets his hammer down. "I suppose you could bend the water a bit, remove some of the black tinge from it."

"You're all red, so it must be true!" She called out as she laughs a little bit. He was fun to talk with, and rarely had someone to talk to. Clara smiled at what he said, and replied. "Well, that's a pretty bright torch you are holding there." She sat up when he asked for her help, and nodded. "I'm rarely busy, nothing goes around in this kingdom." Clara nodded at what he said as she did what he asked, filtering the black from the water. It looked cleaner, if not filtered completely. "That should do it." She splashed some water on a few small open flames that she saw.

"Until next time," she said as she bowed back, gracefully, and gave a mocking smile to Lucifer. She started to walk through the gates, but remembering something, turned around to face him again. "Oh, and by the way, the name is Cassandra." With that, she raised herself into the air and started making her way towards the New Kingdom.

''Cassandra'' Lucifer said dramatically as the gate snapped shot behind the girl, ''this is going to be interesting'' the demon went back to floating in the air guarding the realm's gate.

''
I've told you twice now, I'm Aria, the one who created this academy, nice to meet you moon, I do hope you find what you are looking for, if you need any help feel free to talk to me.'' with these words the young general put the journal on the table then exited the library along with Lyra: ''Tell the others about the meeting and I'll go make the preparations for the festival'' with her usual kind smile the young general rested a hand on Lyra's shoulder: ''It's really good to have you back guys'' with this she went back to training the others.

"That should help alot." Tai smiles again, as takes his seat behind his anvil. "How long have you been a guard? Some high skills required to be enlisted i'm sure." Tai takes hold of another spearhead, heats it molten in his hand and slams his hammer down. After molding it he tosses it into the barrel of water and looks toward Clara. "What kingdom are you originally from, before the fall of Eyos?"

Satsuki flew past through the narrow alley ways of the kingdom, past the turrets and shops and slums. Gathering speed, she zipped above guards and beggars and merchants, a purple blur that disappeared as fast as it appeared. She could sense the presence of the guards trailing her closely. She didn't need protection. But she couldn't be bothered to kill them now. Not while she had to catch up to the blonde girl. Not when there was shortcake and rows of slaves waiting for her back at the palace.

She came to a speedy halt right behind the city gates, but could see no spots of orange amidst the black and grey. Anger, fury, rage bubbled within her. Even though she had flown at the fastest speed possible, she'd still missed the stupid blonde girl. She looked around, watching out for someone she could take out her anger on. From the corner of her eyes, she could see her guards slowly back away.

Just below her, she spotted a man, probably the gate keeper, hovering in the air. Tendrils of black smoke rose and coiled around him. Grabbing him by the throat, she lifted him up into the air. "
Find that girl," said Satsuki, smiling the most sickly sweet smile imaginable. "Or I will kill you." She dropped him to the ground, and said, "You know, the blonde one who just left. Keep an eye on her, tell me her location, I need to know everything." With that, she turned around and flew back to her palace, back to her shortcakes and decapitated slaves.

The tall buff man looked down upon the woman growling with his hands in chains as he was being pulled into the city by a bounty hunter with red hair. He attempted to pull away but the woman was surprising strong despite her small frame. "Oh hush! As soon as I get my money,the sooner we can go our separate ways Capish?" She continued to dragg him into a large building. She looked at the lanterns and decorations in the city but didn't seem too amused by them. This was probably the city where Aria had her academy but she never went to visit her, she had more important things to do. When she entered the place, men quickly walked over,taking the man into custody. The man she brought along was suppose to be a fighter, a dangerous one at that but he didn't really prove his reputation to her when she captured him. The man wasn't really a criminal,he was just MIA and obviously didn't want to be found. A older man walked up to her "I know I should've hired you earlier, We been looking for him for months, I don't think we would've ever be able to find him on our own.' Instead of considering the praise, she let out her hand towards the owner of the establishment, his smile remained intact. 'Yes of course.' A large pouch of gold was put into her hand , Irene started to walk out before the owner said ' I feel gracious to have a Hero that saved us from the fire kingdom to be in our presents.' Irene turned back him with her hand on the door. "Heroes don’t exist, and if they did, I wouldn’t be one of them." And went that she left.

"Glad I can help!" She said as she was truthfully glad to help at something at least. Clara has been known as kind, but not as helpful as kind. She hated it. "The Water Kingdom, of course!" Clara thought about the magnificent kingdom. "I miss it every time I think about it. It was home, you know?" She still had a home now, but it never felt the same like before. "What about you? I'm not sure if you mentioned it or not."

Thea, feeling a bit older and a bit wiser, saw the new kingdom the way she had left it two years ago. It probably even looked better. She walked towards the kingdom, happy to reunite with the others. Especially Irene, she thought as she entered the crowded city. She stopped to take a look around and saw merchants selling their goods to the passerby, kids playing with their newfounded powers, and...the one person she was looking for. "Irene?" She was glad she found her easily as she walked towards her.
