Realistic or Modern The Blood {Restart, New Characters Welcome}

Stallion was clutching Amber but as Fenrir spoke, the leader was not in the mood for his bullshit. "Do me a fucking favour and calk me by my name. I may have liked you at first and given you the okay but now it is not the time for kidding around." He growled, not even looking back. They needed to get there and then maybe the injured could get stitched up and the hurt could all talk about The Grotto together.

"
Damn, British playboy. Chill." Artemis said to him, and then she passed the drink Fenrir offered her.

Paint whimpered and looked helplessly at Fenrir. She was cold, exhausted, hurt... All she wanted was a chocolate bar and a lullaby. She heard Stallion speak and she started murmuring random apologies. Her hands gripped Fenrir's shirt tightly. "Fenrir, is Artemis there? Is she okay? I didn't hurt her, right?" Paint's eyes were closed gently, as though she were minutes from sleep.

She was passed off to another member and she struggled to walk. The pain was rather terrible. Second and third degree burns had consumed her left leg.

Fenrir nodded at Paint, and the member helped her catch up to the rest of the group.

"She's fine, you didn't do anything. We all got hurt somehow."

He sighed and took a swig of his beer, then started to slowly walk forward, ignoring Stallion. When everyone else was out of earshot, he turned to Artemis.

"Look, I know I was a dumbass for running back in there. That was one of the stupidest things I've ever done. Along with me not having any right to smooch with Paint and Venus consecutively."

Fenrir thought that maybe he had subconsciously did it to try and make Artemis jealous. As if he needed to stoop lower.

Zeus sighed as Fenrir began to talk, he had no idea why but this man annoyed him. "Are we done here?" He asked, slipping his hand around Artemis gently, wondering if he was gentle enough to not hurt her. Judging by the previous situations, he was sure everybody was aware about how he clearly disliked Fenrir. What was not to hate? The guy was clearly crushing on his girl.

"How about you zip your lip and walk ahead." He snapped, "I for one, do not give a fuck, let alone two fucks about you and your personal shit." He mumbled.

Artemis looked down as Fenrir began to speak. She could not deny that she felt like he needed a tight slap for kissing her and making him give a rather special goodbye, only to find out he is staying so he can pull every girl's pants down in the gang. Artemis opened her mouth but found Zeus speaking, his hand placed on her hip and his mumblings quite clear. She was not really in the mood for a brawl in the middle of nowhere. "Everyone needs to move, kissing girls is not speeding us up, hell it was slowing us down and yes, we have no idea why you slipped back in there. So I think when we get there, you need to explain yourself." She said, determined to hold Zeus back and prevent a fight. "We'll talk, just not now." She said, looking up at Zeus and hoping his reaction was a happy one.

Fenrir's gaze turned cold and he scowled at Zeus. He grabbed Zeus' wrist and moved his arm away from Artemis' waist.

"She's injured. At least I care enough about her to not flirt, and actually try to help her. Step off. This doesn't concern you."

He didn't want a fight, but if Zeus asked for one, he'd get it. The fangs and all.

As Fenrir decided to grab at Zeus' wrist, Artemis shook her head, smacking his hand away. "At least he cares enough, and that is all I need. You know what Fenrir, just go. Go before I kick you ass out of here." She was torn and pissed, she was no in the mood to pull these two members off of eachother. Artemis' eyes then fell on Paint, was the girl right? Was it all because of her that everything happened? She looked up at Fenrir as if to say that they would talk later, and she meant it. She just did not want to upset Zeus, because he was special. Almost got Stallion to kick the shit out of him for kissing Artemis.

Zeus was about to throw a clean ounch and knock the daylights out of Fenrir but he cared about Artemis' views and feelings so he left the situation. He would not fight if she did not want him to. But he had that wish, for Fenrur to throw himself at him so that he could get beaten to nothingness and he would end up in Artemis' bad books. The commander wondered, why was Artemis even agreeing to talk to Fenrir, surely she hated him too? He knew something was up but, he had no idea what.

Amber's step was in line with Stallion. "I'm glad I was not in there. My skin would not have looked so smooth." She laughed, "You know most ignore the badass side to me and just focus on the doll-like woman I am with a Barbie body. I guess that's why I like you, Charles. You see me different." She whispered, slipping away his name but being unheard.

Slim raised an eyebrow as he was freed, could Kobra really be setting him free? But when the leader spoke the next few words, Slim was stupid to think that there was no catch. "You want me to join you? But what if... I don't want to?" He asked, slightly terrified of what he may become if he declined the offer. He had a feeling that whoever heard of The Wolves, had seen them and had not joined them were not alive anymore.

Fenrir sighed. He really was gettig angry, and people have died when he's gotten too angry. With a deep breath, he took his hand out of his jacket pocket, where the cold metal of his pistol was hidden.

"Artemis, I respect you as a leader. But I ask you, not as a friend, does he really care enough? Zeus, I don't respect you at all. You were a replacement when someone left and that warrants no respect. Not when there were only a couple candidates. You didn't earn the position, you were a backup. All you do is walk around, your sole purpose is to stick your dick in Artemis. I've seen you do nothing as third-in-command. I rallied this gang up my first day here to destroy the Wolves. Keep that in mind the next time you compare yourself to me. And keep in mind I used to be a Wolf. Ruthless, and we don't hold back. That side of me has never left, and it never will. Don't do something you won't live to regret."

Fenrir shoved him out of the way and stalked toward the others.

Paint limped heavily, then gave up and collapsed. She was gasping for air, blinking back tears. The member helping her offered a hand up, which she batted away. She went through her backpack quickly. Where were those pain meds? Must have left them at home. She cursed and closed the zipper. "Leave, I'll catch up later." Paint tells the member.

A few minutes pass before she actually gets up. Her leg was raw and starting to ooze blood. "Shit, shit, shit..." Paint cursed, her leg almost limp and useless as she walked.

Artemis narrowed her grey eyes and snapped at Fenrir as he walked off. "And that is all you ever will be, a Wolf. Ruthless, hell yes. But you would kill your own, and that is not how we roll." The raven felt a need to defend her boyfriend. As Fenrir commented on whether Zeus cared enough for her, Artemis rolled her eyes. "At least he is not one of those boys who would take me to the kitchen and fuck me on the table, pulling my pants down the first chance he gets and having meaningless kisses and sex. At least I have the real thing." She admitted it, and that made Stallion uncomfortable, knowing she was so confident about her relationship.

Looking around, Artemis stopped in her tracks, "Where is Paint?" She halted the member who was last seen with her. "Seriously, Vermon. You let her wander off on her own?" she questioned.

Fenrir stopped and turned around. He gave Artemis a hurt look, but it quickly turned into a stony glare. His voice was low.

"Huh. Just a dirty, rotten, son of bitch Wolf, eh? That how you see me? Maybe that's what I am, then. Once a Wolf, always a Wolf, I guess. Should I go back to them, then? You seem to be high and mighty, so tell me. Do you want me to go back to the Wolves?"

Fenrir walked back to her and crossed his arms.

@Chocoholique @BubbleBoo

Artemis scoffed, "I never said anything about going back, I am actually surprised you got away. I guess nobody can fix the scars and turture you faced in that hell-hole, or was it your home?" The raven would get personal if Fenrir asked for it. As she raised a questioning brow and folded her own arms, waiting for his reply, Stallion spread himself before the two members.

"
Stop fighting. Maybe if you both stop flirting we can actually get to the lakehouse." As Stallion uttered the last sentence, the raven rolled her eyes. "Wow, dickhead. This is the most clueless you have been, I would hardly call that flirting." She ws probably the only girl who dared to speak to Stallion in that way. They were best friends so he had grown used to the teases and the unnecessary rude remarks.

Artemis followed her orders, biting her lip, she carried on moving and walked past Fenrir. She felt guilty but at the same time, she did not. 'You should just let me do the chasing, you might get your ass jumped one day.' She thought.

"Well, it taught me how to survive, at least I had a home that cared for me. And I'm glad you don't want me to leave, that'd be a shame if I couldn't give you more meaningless kisses or fuck you some more on the kitchen table. Might not wanna go for a midnight snack anymore, Zeus, you might have a surprise in store next time."

Fenrir's heart lurched at Stallion accusing them both of flirting. You ever wonder why he adored Artemis, just take a look at this situation. He gave her a smirk over Stallion's shoulder.

"Y'know, Art, maybe we can shake it up and fuck in a boat. Maybe on the dock. Or just do it in the water. By the way, Pony, we can't just stop flirting. It's a curse, being so dashingly handsome and charming."

He chuckled and shook his head. When Artemis walked off, he crept up beside her and didn't say anything. He knew they didn't have to talk to understand each other.

Paint limped, falling behind the group considerably. Her eyes were filled with pained tears. "Maybe... I'll just sleep... find 'em in the morning..." Paint leaned against a wall, then slid down so her knees were tucked into her chest. "Yeah... I'll find them in the morning... How hard would that be..."

As her eyes closed, Paint found herself sucked into a vortex of dreams that left her more panicked than ever. Memories, twisted recollections, fears... she was murmuring and crying out in her sleep. She remembered her father stabbing her with a broken vodka bottle, her sister killing herself, the girls in the foster home that bullied Paint relentlessly. She remembered the screams of the Wolves' spy, the way she craved hearing them, the fear she felt when Erik first spoke to her. It was torturous and unbearable.

Artemis' eyes widened at Fenrir's statement, kissing and meaningless sex? Why there had only been one kiss involved and Artemis was still suffering from the guilt. As she felt a figure walking along side her, the raven slowed her pace down, leaving Zeus and Fenrir. Her left arm clutched her right and she bit her lip, looking around. As her eyes fell on the member who was responsible for losing Paint and being oblivious to her whereabouts, Artemis sighed. She had completely forgotten about her. "I will catch up with you all, there is someone I need to find." She waved off the last few members of the crowd who she trusted would deliverthe message to their leader. Swivelling her body around, Artemis changed direction and began walking towards the route back to the one-was-Grotto. She was walking quite slowly and quietly, she had no idea whether any Wolves were her, so she had to be very careful. As her foot stepped on a small twig and some dead and decayed leaves, she winced. For a loud leader like her, stealth was quite a problem. In every situation she wanted to be heard and noticed, she just wished that she could pick the right times to be heard.

Paint woke screaming to a loud snapping sound around her. She was still half asleep. Tears flooded her face as she struggled to stand, only to fall to the ground again as her burnt leg protested with a wave of agony. She collapsed again, sobbing loudly. "Please, I didn't mean it... Please...." She pleaded to nobody.

Fenrir glared at the sky and tried to not punch the incompetent member in the throat. He specifically told him to help her, not set her down. As Artemis went to find her, he decided to help. Going after Paint would ensure she wouldn't freak out again. He hoped. His footsteps making no sound, Fenrir silently approached Artemis from behind. He was directly behind her now. His hands slowly snuck up to her shoulders, then he pounced, yelling loudly and grabbing her shoulders to frighten her. He lowered his hands to her uninjured side and started to tickle her softly.

"Haha! Gotcha!"

@Chocoholique

Artemis could hear soft sobbing coming from behind a few trees and bushes. As she decided to investigate the cause of this noise, she felt a loud voice enter her ears and something shaking her shoulders. The forced shake soon became a soft tickle but as she squirmed and laughed, she remembered the noise. Smacking Fenrir's hand away and pressing a finger to her lips to quieten him. "Shush." She ordered, gesturing towards behind the bushes. With one hand brushing the leaves down, her grey eyes insoected the scene and found Paint sorawled all of over the floor. "Paint!" She called, running to aid the member. She knew she should have gone to search for the missing member when she had the chance, but a few people got in the way.

Paint

Paint heard someone call her name and she curled up into a ball, her hands clasped over her head. "No! Please, please I didn't mean it I didn't mean any of it!" She pleaded helplessly. Her eyes were squeezed shut, expecting a blow that wouldn't come. "Please, father, I didn't mean any of it, please..."

Fenrir grinned at her. He heard the sounds as well, so he did as he was told. Following Artemis, he rushed over to Paint, kneeling beside her and grasping her hand.

"Paint? Paint, look at me. Look at me. You're gonna be fine, we'll get you out to the lakehouse. I got it, Artemis."

Fenrir wrapped his arms around the crying girl and picked her up. He just shushed her and moved his arms in a soothing motion, rocking her. He hoped it would work. She was very close to him now, he wouldn't want anything to trouble her, no matter how unrealistic it is.

"Paint, I'm here. I've got you."

@Quiet Is Violent @Chocoholique

Paint

Paint whimpered as someone touched her. Fenrir's voice reached her ears and she slowly opened her eyes. He was holding her, rocking her, keeping her safe. "D-dad isn't... Dad isn't here?" She asked weakly. "I thought.. I thought he was going to hurt me..." She clung nearly helplessly to Fenrir. "Where is Artemis? Is she okay?"

Fenrir kissed Paint on the forehead. She was a bit of a mess. As he turned so Artemis could be seen, he sighed. He wondered if Paint would ever get better permanently.

"Here she is. She's fine, she only has a cut or something on her waist. I'd help her, but she won't let me."

He cleared his throat. Hopefully that was subtle enough.

@Chocoholique @Quiet Is Violent

Artemis revealed herself to Paint as she was scooped up into Fenrir's arms. "I suppose I am fine, I think. But what about you, Paint?" She asked, concerned for Paint's health. It was clear that her biological father had played some part in her past, it was seen through her mumblings and pleads to be given mercy. "I think we should get to the lakehouse." She stated, leading the way. As she created a path for the other twi members by pushing aside the leaves and branches, she saw the gang in the distance. If they quickened their pace, they could catch the others up.

Paint

Paint started reaching for Artemis the moment she saw her. "Artemis...' she whispered, needing physical evidence that she was there. "dad was... he was just a dream then? He wasn't actually here?" Paint looked up at Fenrir with large, questioning eyes. "There wasn't anyone here but me? It was all just a dream?" She was calmer now, knowing that she was safe with the two people she cared for most dearly with her.
