Realistic or Modern The Beginning of the End (of the World)

''You in?''

tumblr_mpzjnjcFln1sat0p9o1_500.gif

Yet another phrase that rings in her heads before she actually registers the meaning behind him. It would be a promise, a dangerous one, to say yes. 'A long road' was the understatement of the millennium if the road there was anything like this city. So many thoughts and questions race through her mind - which is in no state to be thrown into overdrive. Why me? Will they let us cross the border? Is it worth it? Should I trust him? She watches as she lifts her arms and wraps them around his torso, something she had never intended to do.

Her thoughts and actions felt like they were out of her control, like they belonged to another person. He had come back for her - whether he intended to or not -, saved her, and now invited her on some impossible journey to safety despite all the trouble she's caused. And, she wanted to go despite all the trouble he had caused for her. Maybe the riot gear between the two of them when she needed human contact most was symbolic of the way it always had been. Her perspective of her life had suddenly been changed and perhaps not for the better. Aleks was there when she needed someone and now she could never lose him.

"Yes."

Now was the time, whether he liked it or not.

He acknowledges Kevin and Bek's response. He stands, stretching, vertebrae popping satisfyingly. He affixes his pack and his weapons on his person and puts the hood on his parka up.

"Okay, guys. I'm going to go to the hotel where they said they were meeting up. There can only be so many. I'll be back in about 30 minutes, if everything goes to plan. If anyone knocks, don't answer. We'll have a secret password- hoops. Keep Jerry asleep- he gets a bit upset if I'm not near him."

After his departing message, Blue takes to the shelf, moves it with ease, and steps out, replacing the shelf. A hand is placed on his shoulder. He turns. An Infected with half a jaw greets him, gnashing what few teeth remained. He brings his stiletto up and places it in its brain. He runs over to the awaiting Prius, hops in, and shuts the door before anymore get the chance to attempt to eat him. He presses the push to start and roars off, the few Infected trailing behind his car.

It takes him a good few minutes before he finds the hotel. He'd went to 3 before he found it, run-down and sagging at its seams. He shuts off the Toyota and steps out of the vehicle, hands up in case that nutcase has some kind of sniper trained on him. The winds howl as Blue yells to the hotel, literally the last one for miles.

"I am UNARMED! I am here to propose an idea: we should team up! It would be beneficial for the safety of everyone! Please hear me out BEFORE you pull weapons!" he calls to the hotel.

He can only pray they listen, or, at least, not shoot him where he stands.

Kevin listened as Ha Ha shared her story- he was pretty sure Ha Ha wasn't a real name, but whatever. He'd just refer to her as crazy chick in his head if the name got unnerving. He realized that he now knew the names of the other few in the room- Desmond, Adam, Ha Ha and Marjan (he'd forgotten at first, due to some people being assholes...)

He was feeling safe, and was beginning to nod off when Desmond announced he was leaving. Well that's stupid, he thought as he scooted closer to- wait, he thought the kid's name was Adam! Desmond had lied? Wait, was Desmond even his real name? It didn't matter he guessed, seeing as the guy apparently had no self-preservation and would likely die from the stupid shit- anyways, Kevin scooted closer to Jerry, keeping a close eye on Ha-Ha, seeing as how she probably had hung with bandits before making her dangerous by default.

He finally realized he hadn't told his name, and, deciding to rectify that, said, "By the way, my name's Kevin. Just realized I hadn't said it yet." His voice was hushed, trying to keep from waking Jerry before the job had even really started up. Desmond's exit was fairly loud in Kevin's mind, and he realized he probably should've asked how to keep the kid asleep.

"So you two got any ideas on how to make a kid stay asleep?" he asked, worried seeing as how he had never watched a kid and all. He tried to remember the password Desmond had said- Hoops, hoops.

A smile appeared on his face, an actual smile, not a maniac one. He felt her arms wrap around him, a moment where he felt humanity, something once again, actual kindness, something from a human being. The closest he was to a feeling like this was when his friends were still alive, breathing, and he couldn't help but hug her back. He shook his head, a smile still pasted on his face, the things he did. He let her go and nodded, turning his smile into a passive serious face. He picked up his helmet, put on the mask back on and the helmet right ahead.

"
I am UNARMED! I am here to propose an idea: we should team up! It would be beneficial for the safety of everyone! Please hear me out BEFORE you pull weapons!" A voice said, he turned around and saw the same kid. ''What the FUCK did I tell you. This won't kill you, but you won't be able to be behind us!'' he shouted, as he pulled up his gun and shot him below his right knee. He didn't have intention to kill him, but to incapicate him for a while.

''We have to hurry, that shot will attract a lot of attention.'' he said to Charlie, as he began a small sprint outside, waiting in each pause for her to catch up. He was going to rob the kids car, but, that was just too cruel for him.

Bek's eyes tracked the boy/man named Kevin, watching him settle himself next to the sleeping kid, blissfully unaware of the feelings her demeanor was creating. The blonde slid herself forward a few inches, voice also falling into a conspiratorial tone as she leaned closer to Kevin.

"Well. You want a kid to stay asleep then you gotta give em' a haymaker, they never expect that! Bek paused for dramatic effect and burst into a fit of hushed giggles.

"No no, I'm just kidding! Seriously though...I don't have a clue! Seriously again though...we don't know how long those people are gonna be gone." Bek looked to the katana-wielding girl then back to Kevin. Her voice back to her hushed, wicked tone.

"We don't even know if they'll be back! People get rude in an apocalypse and one of them pulled a shotgun on me...us. What makes you think they care about us? If we really want to stay here then we may need to go out for supplies or something. Not immediately, a few hours probably. I'm just saying...there's a real possibility that we may have to pack up and leave without...whoever those people are."

Finished with her speech, the blonde pushed herself back to her previous distance, sitting back on her heels, her trademark grin right back on her face like it never left.

The sound of a gunshot was all too familiar. She was no longer phased by it, no longer flinched. "That was unnecessary..." She says coolly to Aleks. Something in her demeanor had changed. She had become a new person, breaking free of the yolk of the fear instilled in her by this apocalypse. It was indeed the beginning of the end. Life as they knew it would forever be changed. She makes a slightly sympathetic face at the poor boy that chose to follow them before glancing back to Aleks. "We need that car, a car. Badly. We'll never make it there on foot. And, we should see if this place has any supplies. Toiletries and such might be nice."

She glances to the boy that introduced himself as... Desmond, was it? He had caused her trouble and she was none too keen on him now. It was his stupid choice to follow them. Aleks had been quite clear. Maybe Desmond was a hero in his mind, but heroes get themselves - and others - killed. Heroes were headstrong and rash. No, they didn't need a hero. They needed to survive. "And, if it wasn't clear, we're gonna have to pass on your offer."

"AUGH! GODDAMMIT!"

Blue falls to the floor, cradling his bleeding leg in his hands. The fucker shot him.

He FUCKING shot him.

Blue had half the mind to raise his M1911 and smoothly pop both of them in the head. But, he wasn't going to do that. He'd only killed another human being once. That faithful night his younger brother's twin had been killed. He had no intention of breaking that record.

But, he wasn't thinking straight. Pain coursed through his leg. Luckily, from first glance, it was just a flesh wound, probably no more than a graze. He listens in waiting as they speak to each other, slowly scooting backward to the Prius. He hears them converse, saying how the shot will attract the Infected, the normal garb.

Then, the bitch suggests they take the car. HIS car.

Oh no. Oh no no NO. This makes Blue raise his weapon, fluctuating between the girl and the guy's head.

"This is what I get for trying to help. But, you'll not get my help that way. You can gladly go on about your business, but you will NOT take my vehicle. Come near and I'll shoot lassie over here's brains out."

Shit. He prayed that they wouldn't come closer. He hated firing weapons, and he didn't want to kill either of them.

He nodded his head at her idea, but, he wasn't going to take this kids car. ''I'm a asshole, yeah, but I have a heart. This kid loves more his car than his life. We can find another working one, I actually had one behind the hospital, low gasoline tho.'' Then, the kid went a little bit too far. He raised his gun at them "This is what I get for trying to help. But, you'll not get my help that way. You can gladly go on about your business, but you will NOT take my vehicle. Come near and I'll shoot lassie over here's brains out."

Aleks shook his head, pushing away Charlie, to the side.
''You can't die right now.'' he wasn't going to kill him. This guy had some potential, and he can't kill of someone, even less when he had little kids with him, he only shot him to warn him, but, that didn't calm his anger. ''Shoot me motherfucker! I have the bigger gun, and this right here?'' he said as he tapped the glass of the helmet, and grabbed out his shotgun ''Bullet proof glass! Look, I'll grab a little bit gas of your car, and I give you the shotgun? That-a deal? Or, of course, I could just kill you, but, you're kind of like me, at the verge of corruption.''

She unslings her bow from her shoulder and pulls an arrow from her quiver after she's pushed aside by Aleks. His mind was in the right place but she certainly didn't appreciate being pushed around. "Nobody needs you two dicking around and arguing about whose is bigger. We need to head out as soon as possible, Aleks. Surely, 'Superman' here can handle himself." She pushes her hair out of her eyes, narrowing her gaze at Desmond.

"You really shouldn't act so brave. You'll get yourself killed. Honestly, I'm surprised you haven't already. All you seem to do is put yourself and, what? Your brother? Cousin? Friend? Whatever. All you seem to do is put yourself and your posse in the midst of danger. Kids shouldn't be out in this. Kids should be thinkin' that everything's fine. And, you lug your buddy around like a fucking rag doll. Don't be surprised when you have to put a bullet through his brain. Because if you don't, someone else will." She turns her attention back to Aleks. "Grab that car, siphon some gas from his tank, and meet me back here. I'll rummage through the rooms and see if anyone left anything of value."

Charlie turns on her heels and starts toward the room. She stops suddenly, looking over her shoulder. "And, I'm not meanin' to be cruel, Desmond or whatever your name is. That's just the way it is now." She continues on her way with her arrow ready to be sent into the skull of any attacker. She intends to make this raid quick so she and Aleks can get on the road.

Marjan listened to the boy speaking up, but before she could answer back to the further questions, A loud gun shot filled the silence. She did notice that has happened after the other boy has left towards the hotel.

Marj did not have to think twice about it, as now she made a run for it towards the other door which lead outside. She took out the katana from its shelf, huffing along the way where she could see the hotel. Then the Prius at one side and some voices shouting at each other.

Her peace increased, finally reaching the three people, along with the crying- emotional girl from before. The other boy was on the pavement with blood coming out of his leg, as Marj was certain that he got shot. Without thinking to much, she leaped using her right foot to push herself up and made a rotation of 90degrees just as her body landed in front of the shot boy . The edge of her katana though, sharper than any other knife, was now Almost pressured at the throat of that guy with the bigger gun.

Her eyes nearly piercing his soul, with a heavy breathing, yet calm expression, Marj squeezed harder the sword.

" You had no right to shot him. Now let's say you had a reason for it, but now you tell me what reason I must have for not slicing your head right now?

You do know I am very quick and a sword is much more faster than your damn bullet! "

Marj sad to the man, not caring if he wood dare to shot her, as for sure her movements would be quicker and more precise than his.

Then she turned her gaze for a second at the girl, before speaking again.

" I hope you are alright. You seem more logical than this buckle head from here, please tell me you don't plan to go with psychopath like him on a journey ?

So you know, I this world you couldn't survive on your own.. Even if you tell yourself that you can.

There are still good people out there which care about each other. And I would hate myself to be part of a masquerade where people kill other Living ones just because they can.

Do you want that to ?!"

Her face turned back at the man, not backing down while the sword's edge continued to be held at his throat. Any movement and it will cause him pain for sure.

" I how you are alright boy.. Do you think you can walk soon ?"

@CosmicOwl @Keiser @RealisticFantasy

A girl arrived, and the first thing she did? Try to kill him, of course. " You had no right to shot him. Now let's say you had a reason for it, but now you tell me what reason I must have for not slicing your head right now?

You do know I am very quick and a sword is much more faster than your damn bullet! "

He laughed, piercing his eyes on to hers.
''You know, when I was in the military, this thing you just did was the stupidest thing you could've done.'' he said, as he rapidly moved his head to the left and grabbed the katana with his gloves, pulling it back and taking it from her, using his foot on her chest to make her let go, locking her arm in place. ''Do you see how easy I could've killed you? How stupid of you to turn your head away from the opponent.''

He threw it away, a few feet, grinnig at her, even tough it was not visible, under the mask.
''Y'know, you could've just left, not try to act hero. This isn't the fucking stone age, with this bad boy I can shoot your head off.'' he said, as he kept the gun close to her neck. ''But, I don't. Try to do another stupid ass thing, and you're dead.'' his arms moved swiftly, throwing her to the side, grabbing his side arm and pointing it at her.

Everything has happened so damned fast, that her mind could not process it properly only the fact that her katana went flying to the ground. The next thing, she got pushed around with a gun pointed at her.

A smirk appeared at her lips, wincing from the sharp pain caused on her chest before she coughed a few times and spoke .

" And you think that I give a shit about that? You don't understand, do you?!

I would give away my life for another human being, but you'll have to add me to your list of Murdering people and live with another one in your conscience for the rest of your life!"

Marj shouted at him, turning her foot and kicked him in the balls, as hard as she could, even if that meant to basically twist her wrist. Her body then almost collapsed to the ground due the amount of pain going through, huffing heavily while her eyes returned to the girl and then to the shot boy.

Her katana was a few feet away, still unfortunately she had no energy to go and grab it in that moment.

" You think you can just kill someone and get away with it? You are sadly mistaken..

Everyone pays a price in this world, especially now.."

Marj said to him with a trembling voice, as her head continued to pulse even more at her temples; from the distances they could hear some Infected headed their way.

Another smirk took for at her lips, trying to stand up, practically stumbling around in order to get her katana back.

" I guess in the end, nothing else matters . Just your own ass, huh ?"

@Keiser

" And you think that I give a shit about that? You don't understand, do you?!

I would give away my life for another human being, but you'll have to add me to your list of Murdering people and live with another one in your conscience for the rest of your life!"
he smiled again, before feeling the kick to his groin. He didn't feel anything, the two covers were too many for him to even squinch.

Then, he felt a sharp pain. Whatever gun she used, it was a low caliber, nothing that would kill him, not even the slightest bit. He pulled up his gun, sliding the top of it, then turning around, facing the girl, a hand in his wound.

When she was approaching the katana, he shot. The bullet got stuck in her rib cage, it wasn't a high caliber either, so, maybe she would die, but, if she was smart, he wouldn't. Aleks didn't feel anything for this girl, so as she fell down, he kicked her right in the wound, before picking up the katana and shooting it, nearly destroying it.

''You made this happen, you tried it once again.''

His voice trembled, as he got ready to run, but, he was in no condition. The shot had hit him right below the lung, so, he could barely breathe. His glance turned to charlie, as he fell down, leaning his head on the pillar of the wall.
''I'm sorry.''

At first, Kevin tried to decipher what Ha Ha's message had meant, disposing of the thought as she admitted it was a joke. He was turning to face the other woman expectantly when there was a shot some distance away, of course prompting yet another person to run off into the night. He got up to hurriedly push something in front of the door, remembered that he had almost no upper body strength, and sat back down near Jerry, hoping the shot wouldn't wake him as he stared at the door in case it at any moment was opened by those infected. He mulled over what Ha Ha had said, knowing the chances of the idiot he was with coming back were slim, and taking a split second to hope that the shot fired wasn't at anyone he cared about. Besides, searching for supplies was a good idea no matter what.

Kevin nodded, collaborating with, "Alright. Maybe we should wait until the sun's up, though- for safety reasons." He didn't really trust the chick he was with, and it was becoming painfully clear to him he could be stuck with her for quite a while. Already he was missing the comfort of a car, and he'd only even been in it for five minutes at most. Still, it radiated safety, and that was something he needed right now.

Bek started to rock on her heels gently, eyes wide and alert for possible danger as the gunshot filled the void in her ears, ready to grab the two boys and find a way out of the store if need be. Even if she had just met them they were the nicest and most recent group of people she's met in quite some time, and she wasn't leaving without them. Swaying in several tense moments, the blonde finally relaxing as nothing came for their flesh.

Bek watched amusedly as Kevin had gotten up and then sit back down, accomplishing nothing. Elated to hear the boy agree to her plan, Bek stood herself up in anticipation. Bouncing around the store as quietly as she could, once stopping to look out a window trying to peer out into the rain and spotting a lone infected outside, no more to be seen but she guessed they were just hiding. Bek promptly flipped off the infected through the glass and sprung away.

Once finding herself behind Kevin she plopped down on her behind right to his side, left arm slung over his shoulder.

"Are you sure you wanna wait that long? This place seems...boring. We should go out and do something!" Bek was now lightly shaking the boy from side to side as she pleaded for an activity to do.

"What the fuck? What the FUCK?!"

Blue stands against the Prius, his leg in the air to prevent anymore damage. Marjan had come out of nowhere and had done in the crazy one with the shotgun. Then, he did her in, leaving them both in an incapacitated state.

"See? This is the bullshit... It didn't have to be like this, Charlie, if that's even your name. I know one thing, though; you're not getting my Prius." Without hesitating, he hops over to the riot armored man and retrieves his shotgun. He also picks up Marjan's samurai sword.

They were both done for, anyway.

He hops in the car, starting it up and flooring it with his good leg. He leaves the two dying and the one deranged girl in his wake, hoping he'll never see them again. At least, the crazy man and Charlie. What Marjan had done was heroic, even if it was rushed and stupid. He prays for her health.

But, he knows it has no avail. She'll probably die, and he, his brother, Shortstuff, and Ha Ha, the breathing circus, would already be halfway outta town.

He stops the Prius in front of the store, hitting an Infected. It's viscera paints the front of the car and the grille. But Blue's too tired to care.

He needed out.

He steps out, leaving the hatchback running. He limps to the front of the door, feeling increasingly light-headed. He needed some serious medical attention. He leans against the front door, knocking 3 times.

"Hoops," he groans. He hopes Shortstuff opens up soon; he'd pass out without any attention to his leg.

Ha Ha seemed to flip off something through the glass before sitting next to Kevin, and for a second Kevin wondered if someone were coming before craning his neck up a bit to see someone infected outside. She had wrapped her arm around Kevin, and he felt himself tense a bit, forcing himself to relax- sure, she could be dangerous, but seeing as she hadn't tried to kill him or the kid yet, he figured he was safe and didn't want his probably rational fear to get them both killed. He mulled over her option before turning to face Ha Ha, saying in the most nonchalant tone he could pull off, "Yeah, but ya see, I'm diurnal and sleep at night- not saying it's not fine if you're more of a nocturnal person, but I'd like to sleep while I have the chance if that's at all possible. It's been a bit exhausting today."

He wanted to just flat out say it was dangerous to go out at night, and especially so with the gunshots they'd just heard. However, once again, Ha Ha was off, and probably completely dangerous. He was staring at the window, wondering what the possible reason for flipping off someone infected would be when all of the sudden it was splattered in blood. Kevin yelps, and there's somebody leaning against the door knocking. He's about to freak out because he can't defend anyone when he hears "Hoops."

Oh, thank God,
he thinks, turning to Ha Ha as he stands and goes towards the door, saying, "Ha Ha, can ya help me out?" as he pushes against the door's shelving unit, moving it at an agonizingly slow pace, cursing his lacking upper body strength. As Kevin pushed the shelving unit hopefully out of the way, he wondered if Jerry was still asleep. He hoped so- he wasn't keen on dealing with a crying child, or a child in general.

He felt his body slowly fade away its energy, this time, he was as clsoe to death as he was, ever. So many things happened today, he was simply done for. He looked at his arms, looking at what he had done, watching the car take off. Aleks shook his head, slight tears coming out from his light eyes. This is what I have become?

Aleks sighed, as he grabbed his backpack, opening it and grabbing out his only bandages, throwing them to the girl, before taking off his helmet and ski mask. He stared at her, deeply, lost in tought. Infected had no time to wait, they were just meals planted there. Reaching for his pistol, he also threw it to her, the metal sliding trough the concrete floor.

''I'm sorry for this. Kill me if you please, I'm going to die anyways. You can still run, I could back there, so you can too.'' he regretted what he had done, a chain of stupid actions, only for his survival in this place that wasn't even worth it anymore. ''I wanna say goodbye but there's nobody left.''

Bek stared blankly into Kevin's eyes, the corners of her lips threatening to turn into a frown as she mulled over what he said, completely missing the bit about him having an exhausting day.

Diurnal? What...the hell is diurnal? Sounds like a bladder condition...

Deep in thought over what diurnal could possibly mean she never noticed the car hitting an infected or the knocking on the door or the password being uttered from an injured Blue. The girl was silently mouthing the word diurnal to herself repeatedly in hopes of deciphering the meaning of the word when she heard her alleged name being called, bringing her back to the dark reality. Bek snapped her head to the side and scrambled to her feet upon seeing the trouble Kevin was having with moving the shelf that blocked the door.

Jogging over, Bek gripped her tire iron in her left hand while helping Kevin push the shelf out of the way, cursing Kevin's lack of upper body strength. Several moments later when the door was free of a blockade, Bek stepped backwards to let her companion open the door for the injured looking man. Weapon raised and ready.

"Uh...I hope you have some know-how on how to treat people's wounds."

Her vision begun to be a blur, but at that point she said to herself that she could not die. It was not the right time. And like this? No fucking way.

Marj took a deep breath, before trying to stand up as the blood spread from her rib cage staining her clothing. It was a deep wound. She could feel it. Still, this was a first time she got shot ever in her life.

Her legS stumbled in the attempt to stand up, breathing slowly as possible. The her eyes gazed upon the man who shot her, now giving her bandage and his gun? For sure this guy was beyond insane.

However, Marj picked up slowly but certain his pistol, sighing deeply when, a tiny smile formed at her lips. Her fingers gripped tightly around the gun before speaking.

" You still don't get it do you? I don't kill the Living ones. I never wanted that, nor all of this to happen.. This is beyond crazy!"

Her voice trembling, feeling her head becoming fuzzier, fuzzier by each passing second. Marjan lifted the gun, pointing at his direction and tried to take an aim. Her index finger pressed on the trigger.

BANG!

A loud gun shot filled the silence in the air, after that boy took of with his car and had taken her broken katana to. This day could not get any worse.

The bullet had hit the Infected which was coming from behind that Man, hitting the infected in the face, not killing it just yet.

" You better start running or I might shoot you by mistake ! Is an infected a few feet away from you!

Get your ass up and run for God sake!"

Marj shouted angrily at him, huffing in the process, while her hand pressed on her bullet wound. She managed to make a few steps closer to the man, yet not very close. She did not know if he had another gun as probably this time he could kill her for real.

Moreover, Marj sensed on her tongue the metal taste of her own blood, even if she had no blood coming out of her mouth.

It was surreal.

At a distance more infected could be heard heading their way, just like crashing a party.

Marj gulped the nod at her throat, before collapsing in front of the man, her face staring straight at his eyes. Then, her hand reached out for him and put His Gun down whispering.

" You are a better shooter than I am..please, we don't have much time.."

Marj said before she saw black before her eyes, fainting in front of him, blood covered her blouse and hand.

It was his choice now what to do. Maybe the right thing to do.

Only God knows.

Bek's statement seemed kinda out of the blue, but as Kevin walked towards the door, he said,"Well, I've read a lot on it. Don't know if I have any- HOLY SHIT!" Outside was a quite bloody, nearly passed out, Desmond. Kevin pulled him in- which, by itself, was enough to scare him half to death just because it meant he was probably falling a bit.

As he brought Desmond in, he turned to Ha Ha, saying, "Can ya cover the door back up, please?" If she asked for it, he'd make it a 'pretty please with a cherry on top', he noted before laying Desmond down lightly, suddenly remembering there was a kid in the room. He took a quick glance at Jerry to ensure that he was still asleep- like, yeah, his brother was here, but he probably didn't want to see him looking like this. Kevin rifled through his bag, searching for some medical supplies- turns out that there wasn't much there. Then he remembered that Desmond had been grabbing stuff at the hospital, so he looked through Desmond and Adam's bag, locating some antiseptic and bandages, which were a good start, but he still needed to seal the wound.

Turning to Bek, he asked, "Do ya have a needle and some thread?"

" You still don't get it do you? I don't kill the Living ones. I never wanted that, nor all of this to happen.. This is beyond crazy!" He saw as she picked up the gun, and aimed at him. The whistle of the bullet passed, as he saw she hadn't shot him. He felt nothing at that moment, not even a flinch, he was already prepared.

But the, she fainted. Aleks got up and ran there, feelings each time he took a step, his flesh of previous shots ripping apart, pain traveling trough his muscles. This was too much for a human to bare, just, hell on this world. Aleks picked her up, grabbing the gun, the girl was dangling over his shoulder, as he ran to the hotel, scooting Charlie inside of it.

He closed the door, blocking it with a lot of debree, before putting the girl down and collapsing right beside her, nearly as close to hit her. Aleks eyes slowly opened up once again, picking up his backpack from his shoulder and opening it, grabbing out a single bandage, yes, he had lied about the other being his last one. Aleks picked her up, taking her closer to him, before starting to bandage her wound. He was tired, of all this, of seeing what he had donde to survive, think that all the people he'd killed were actually humans, fighting to live, as the same of him.

Bek took a voluntarily step forward, ready to bring her weapon right down on the head of whoever was on the other side of the door when she took another look to see a bloodied version of the guy who took off after the armored man and crying girl. Having no knowledge of medical procedures she obediently pulled the shelf back across the door and crossed her arms, giving a slightly irritated huff. She may have felt sorry for Blue but he had left the three of them back at the store. Oh well...not like she cared right? Right?

The blonde watched as Kevin rifled through bags filled with medicine and medical equipment. She took a mental note to grab the bag if she ever needed to ditch these guys.

Her mood had completely shifted upon the arrival of Blue, she stood off to the side brooding, impatiently tapping the tips of her shoes against the tiled floor of the store until she heard the request for needles and thread. While she had nothing of the sort on her person she ventured deeper into the store wth nothing more than a quiet excuse as she passed by her three companions.

Creeping through the aisles of the store she absentmindedly brushed her finger through the dust of the shelves, eventually finding herself a needle and a spool of thread not to far away. Swiping the spool of thread and needle, she made her way back.

Everything around her was pitch dark. Even with that darkness, Marj could swear that she felt as if someone was carrying her; of course not knowing for sure if she was dreaming, having a nightmare or she was Dead. For real.

A few minutes had passed since Aleks had picked her up and carried her basically, as now he was actually taking care of her. She would find that him being nice, hard to believe. It was only one way to find out.

However, her body laid on the floor, while he bandaged her wound, as Marj continued to breathe heavily. Soon, sweat drops begun to form at her forehead and her body's temperature had risen considerably.

" Don't go .. Please stay with me..pl-please.."

Her voice mumbling while her mind took her to a long - exhausting nightmare.

" I wish everything would be alright.. Ah! Why do I have to do this on my own, huh? Can't you hear me screaming for you?

Mike!! Come back! Don't leave me alone. I am afraid of this.: I can't do this on my Own! "

Her fingers trembling on the katana, when he stormed out the house, soon some of the infected grabbing him and tearing his body apart, blood splattering everywhere.

She could not stop the tears coming down her cheeks at that sight.. Now she was alone."

" Don't go .. Please stay with me..pl-please.."

Her voice said, it alarmed him a bit as he saw she actually moved his lips, but he stayed put, hearing the infected bash against the wooden frame, that was the only thing that protected them from their death. Aleks voice slowly moved his lips, giving out words
''I'll be here.''

Aleks slowly moved at the side, he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable or anything similar, so, he gave her some feet of distance, she was already healed up, wounds sealed with bandages. He got up at took of the armor, revealing his casual clothes now, a coat and some dark jeans, along with some boots. He only kept the wristguards on, in case some of them tried to bite his arm, their teeth would break with the metal.
