The Angel's Baby

Dean nodded and frowned. He didn't wanna grow up. He wanted to stay a baby forever.

Castiel breathed a small laugh, "What I mean is that your teeth are growing, but you'll always be my little one."

Dean smiled and sighed. He was glad that he would always have Cas to take care of him. (What about Cas having a love interest? Maybe Meg? Remember, this is au. )

Castiel loved being a Daddy. It was nice to have someone rely on you for everything, and to be their whole world. It was reassuring in the best of ways.

(That's okay. I was just kinda liking the idea of someone being Dean's mommy...But Daddy Cas will do. )


Dean frowned and teared up, thinking of his Mother again. He really missed her and wishes that she could see him, now.

(I know. I'm a bummer.)


Castiel frowned also, "What's the matter, Dean?"

 

[WeirdAlternativeGirl]

"Ma...ma!" Dean sobbed, hiccuping into Cas' trenchcoat, his face red and wet from tears. He just missed his Mommy, and couldn't stop seeing her in every woman they saw.

Castiel closed his eyes and nodded, knowing that Dean would miss his mother. "I know you miss her, Dean. But she's watching you, remember? She loves you very much," the angel comforted, rubbing Dean's back soothingly.

Dean just sobbed. He wanted a mommy, or even just a female friend to hang out with. A babysitter would be nice, too.

Continuing to shush Dean's sobs, Castiel frowned. He hated seeing his little one like this...

Dean eventually cried himself to sleep in Cas' arms, gripping his trenchcoat tightly in his fists.

Kissing Dean's forehead, Castiel carried him to the nursery, laying his little one down. Wrapping a blanket around Dean's frame, and giving him a pacifier and teddy bear to hold, the angel left the room.

Dean rolled over onto his side and snuggled into his blanket, falling asleep.

A few hours later, Castiel entered the nursery to check on his baby.

Dean heard Cas come in, and whimpered, rolling over and reaching up at him.

Picking up his baby, Castiel kissed Dean's freckled cheeks before dressing him in a new diaper and onesie. "Good morning, little one," the angel rumbled lovingly.

Dean gurgles and leaned against Cas, laying his head on his shoulder and smiling.

Castiel grinned as he carried Dean to the kitchen, and made some soft rice cereal for him to eat. He tied a bib around Dean's neck, and ruffled the younger's hair before starting to feed him.

Dean got really messy, this time, as he was trying a new food for the first time, and wasn't quite used to it.

Castiel chuckled at his little one. "Messy boy," he teased as he wiped Dean's face with a damp cloth gently.

Dean giggled and patted his highchair tray, smiling up at Cas innocently.

"Let's go outside," Castiel said as he picked up his little one and brought him to go see the animals again.


Upon seeing his friend, BuBu waddled up to them and flapped his little wings happily.

Dean giggled at BuBu, and flapped his arms, too, imitating him the best he could.

 

[AStarorTwo]

Castiel laughed, before setting Dean down on the grass so he could feed the animals.


BuBu quacked before flapping his arms again, copying Dean.

Dean crawled behind Cas, giggling when Cas turned around and was surprised.
