Dean giggled and he scooped BuBu up, and held him close, kissing his little head.

The duckling quacked happily, and pecked his beak on Dean's face, trying to kiss him too.

Dean giggled and held BuBu a bit longer, until his mommy showed up.

Immediately standing in front of Dean and BuBu, Castiel looked sternly at the mother duck, hoping she wouldn't make Dean upset this time.


Upon seeing his mommy, BuBu flapped his wings but stayed in Dean's hands. He liked it there.

Dean tried to put BuBu down, but he just stayed in his hands, and quacked happily.

Castiel continued to protect Dean from the angry mother duck, who was currently flapping her wings angrily.


BuBu soon left Dean's hands, with a final nuzzle to the former hunter, before waddling away.

Dean waved to him and frowned, wondering why his mommy didn't like him.

Turning around, Castiel frowned at Dean's sad expression. The angel kneeled down on the grass, and ruffled Dean's hair, "It's okay, little one. She is just very protective over BuBu. Soon enough she'll warm up to you."

Dean pouted and reached up at Cas, wanting to be held. At least Cas accepted him.

Standing up, Cas picked Dean up and nuzzled the younger's cheek, "I love you, little one."

Dean gurgled and hugged Cas as he was carried back into the house for some playtime.

The angel blushed slightly at Dean's hug, and returned the gesture with a kiss. Placing Dean on a soft blanket in the living room, Castiel gave him many toys to play with, before sitting down beside the former hunter.

Dean sat there and played for a while, until Cas had to go answer the phone in the other room, leaving Dean alone.
