The Angel's Baby

Smile growing farther at Dean's clapping, Castiel peppered the younger's face in kisses, as night started to fall.

Dean looked out the window and was surprised when a police car drove by, sirens on. Dean whimpered and buried his face in Cas' chest.

Running his fingers through Dean's hair, Castiel shushed his baby's whimpers. "It's just a police car, Dean. Everything is okay..."

Cas furrowed his brow, thinking the same thing. Using his wings, the angel flew the both of them somewhere safer. He used his grace to move all of their things to a new home, which was in the countryside and farther away.

Dean gasped as he looked around at their new home. He whined and fussed, chewing on his fingers as his teething got worse.

"I think this is for the better," Castiel observed as he started to turn on the lights of their new home. Replacing Dean's fingers with a teething toy, the angel carried the younger to his nursery.

Dean squirmed and whined, scared of being in a new place, and so suddenly. It was a large ranch house with a big backyard, with even a few animals to care for, a few cows, chickens, goats, two ducks, a cat and dog.

Shushing Dean's whines gently, Castiel explained, "You weren't going to stay there any longer, little one." The last thing Cas would have ever wanted, was his baby to be hurt. Ever.

"Would you like to go see them?" Castiel asked, picking up Dean and taking him out the back door to see all the animals.

Dean giggled as the dog ran up to him, and sniffed his diaper, smelling the baby powder before sneezing. "D...Doggie!" Dean babbled.

Castiel gave a proud smile, and nodded, kissing Dean's cheek. "Yes, little one. Doggie. Good job," he praised.

Getting a handful of feed, Castiel threw some to the chickens before filling Dean's palm with some. "See if you can throw it to them, little one."

Dean babbled as he threw the food as well as he could, smiling when it landed in front of the hungry chickens, who also had a few little ones.

Dean giggled and babbled excitedly as the ducks followed them around, as well as the dog. Dean loved all his new pets.

Nodding along to Dean's babbles, showing the younger he was listening, Castiel turned and saw the animals that were following them. They were all very cute, and Cas was glad that Dean liked them so much.

"Would you like to name any of them, Dean?" the angel asked.
