Fandom Teen Titans: Unity (ALWAYS OPEN)

Gray strongly resists the urge to let his face split into a grin as he extends his hand.

"Thanks, man."

He reaches out, taking it, and hoisting his weight up using the man's stable standing.

"Alright, my apartment's just a few minutes over there on the third floor."

He looks ahead, beginning to focus on the sensation of his arm in his grip, tapping into the energy laying in it, but not yet starting the fast-paced process of draining him of his life force.

The first to react to Cyborg's presence wasn't Beast Boy, but instead the strange woman on his bed. She was an interesting person at the least, both her body and strange speech at surprise noted that to Cyborg. Although, while her appearance was alien, Cyborg and his mechanical eye thought differently. Despite the intellectual side of Cyborg wanting to know more about the woman, he decided to keep his questions to himself until he knew more about the woman. Though she made a move to defend herself, Cyborg stayed in the door frame as not to scare her any further. Something about her was quite familiar, but at the moment he couldn't place it.

When Beast Boy came to his defense Cyborg smiled, "Complete dork?" He replied as he placed his hand on Beast Boy's head, pushing him down playfully. "Just wait til Robin hears about you sneaking a girl into the tower." Cyborg beamed down at BB with a wink from his real eye. The Tower alerted him of Raven entering the building, and it only took a few moments for her to make it to solitude. With the idea of Raven going immediately to her room after a battle it was due to the fact that they something happened, she's tired, or that they lost; maybe a mixture, but it worried Cyborg nonetheless.

Beast Boy beat him to the trigger, his ears as sensitive as his sensors, leaving the room to go see how the battle went with Raven. With Beast Boy gone, Cyborg and the woman were with their own devices. Then it hit him, from B explaining the radio towers and her strange appearance, the woman reminded him a bit of Starfire. "No no, I was built by my parents after an accident." He watched as she experimented with his biceps, a light smile forming with their firmness; though it quickly disappeared with the notion of being a radio. "I am not a radio." Cyborg said attempting to keep his composure, "I'm a mix between man and machine, a Cyborg. Though I do get reception from that tower." He chuckled lightly.

Beast Boy came back in the room and it was obvious from his tone that Cyborg was right in his guess about Raven. "It's cool B, I was going to see if your friend wanted to stay in the guest room until her injury heals." Cyborg gave her a reassuring smile, hopefully enough so she'd trust him to take her to the room. The gunshot would heal, especially if he could get at it tomorrow, but staying out in the open where she could be hurt further wouldn't help anything.

"What kind of animal is a machine?" Calypso asked, her ears dropping beneath her horns in curiosity. seemed she was more relaxed when she thought of cy as an animal, rather than a robot. "I've never stayed in a room before. are there trees? Can Grimora come too?" She bounced exited to see this new relm they called a "room". Calypso's curious nature began to take over, she was now examining everything. she'd never seen a PAINTED wall. all the ones at the lab were white or a metal panel. "A parent? " She was confused there. she had never had one, she was always refered to as "mother" by the natives but she never had a mother of her own. Even when she actually tried to become a mother herself, that failed too.

Calypso took Cy's hand in hers, a tradition. whenever two people were going to the same place, they always held hands. seemed odd to outsiders but felt odd not to in her book. "Off to the land of "room" we go?" Calypso asked ears twitching about.

-- (light timskiping here. just wanted to add this little bit)

Once Calypso was in the guest room she plopped back on the bed, squirming in the sheets again , when she hit something. A small box on the wall lit up and there seemed to be little people in it!!! ( shes watching TV for the first time). Mythbusters shined on the TV and they seemed to be testing something explosive. Calypso's ears dropped, her eyes widened in fascination and she would be staring blankly at the new found miracle of television all night.

Beast Boy let out a long sigh as he raised his arms up to stretch. Finally hoping to get the sleep he so desperately needed, Beast Boy closed his door and shortly after collapsed on his bed. As he laid there, he stared at the ceiling with a blank expression on his face. He acted as though he was trying to think, but he didn't want to. It's too much...

Thinking was always too much. He never really did much of it anyways. Not that he wasn't smart.... sure, he was teased for always acting stupid; but secretly, he knew what he was doing. He was just immature and stubborn, that's all. However, Beast Boy chose not to think, because every time he did... he winded up hurting himself in the process. It was very much easier to cope with things when you didn't think. You don't second guess yourself, you don't judge your actions based on others' opinions. You just, go with it. You get to have a sense of false confidence, not worrying about the justification of it all. Instead, you could just lay there... care free from any guilt you could possibly feel.

Not tonight, though. Tonight Beast Boy was bombarded with thoughts that wasn't his own. He wasn't thinking.... or at least, trying to think. Somehow though, thoughts crossed his mind as he tried to keep his mind clear.

Raven is the only girl that would ever tolerate you...

She is the only girl that ever cared about you...

And she hates you.

Why was he having these stray thoughts? He didn't think like this.... he never DID think! Thinking is dangerous, and that's why Raven is so controversial. All she did was think.

Raven...

Well, while he was on the subject already... he might as well expand upon it. What did he actually think about her? Now that he was just alone... with nothing but the thoughts inside his head. His thoughts... not others that came to his mind. He was in control now, and so whatever came to mind was what Beast Boy wished. His desires, his needs... everything pertaining to his being was now in focus. Nothing left, but the truth of it all. So what was the truth? Where did he and Raven stand? Okay. Let's take an overview over all of this. Separate everything in the way of him, and Raven. All the jokes, teasing, and arguments aside... what was the truth behind the matter? The truth was, in fact, that they were actually good friends. Despite all the bickering, and seemingly intense moments, they had a mutual relationship. That much, he could admit to. But... what about.... feelings. Hidden desires that they could both... possibly share. Let's get deeper into this. What or how could have helped them develop feelings for each other? Did they have any at all? Well, let's go off with what we know. Raven was tough, sometimes rude, strong, stubborn, and determined. He was... well, he was somewhat opposite. He was strong, yes.... and stubborn as well as determined. They shared the important traits. However, she was quiet... but rude when she wasn't. He was consistent all the time. Obnoxious, but always in a joking manner whenever he opened his mouth. He saw the funny in everything, while she was all about "dark", "death", "blaaaaah". With all of these differences, what would of possibly had given them a chance of MAYBE liking each other? Hmmmm... not much to go on here. There had been many times where they have saved one another in combat before, so maybe that could of subtly sparked something. Eating together was more of a casual thing amongst all of the Titans, so that was obviously out of the equation. Perhaps, maybe it was the curiosity between them both? Trying so hard to figure out why and how the other functioned the way they did? That could certainly be the case. Wanting to know why someone who was so much against everything you believed in functioning just fine much like yourself. That would possibly create some kind of romantic tension at the least. Especially when you're constantly trying to be around that person just to figure them out.

Perhaps... that's what it was... I'm not in love with her, but in love with the mystery that is, Raven.

Course, with all of this thinking he could just sleep on it. As his eyes grew heavy from having to held open for more than 24 hours, Beast Boy slowly began to drift off to sleep.

"No problem," Ben said, slowly starting in the direction of the stranger's house. "But I should warn you: there is a slight chance that we might get dangerously close to death on our way there. I mean, once I was returning a lost dog to its owner, and out of nowhere an anvil dropped like, half a foot in front of me. Where do you even get an anvil? And the dog - don't get me started on the dog - freaked out so I had to chase it through a burning building that happened to be home to a few bank robbers and...let's just say it was not a very good day.

"So what I suppose I'm trying to say here is that if you might end up in a worse state than you started in. Sorry."

@Midnight Peace

In a nearby allyway a man was sprinting in a panicked fashion. He was homeless, living in the ally, but this ally suddenly became unsafe. a mad cackling had him scared to his witts end. He almost got to the street but he was suddenly hit from the side by something heavy. Shrapnel has lept from the shadows, fingers digging into the man's shoulders and the claws on his toes dug into his ribs, ripping downward in one fell swoop. one hand reached and forced the man's jaw closed muffling his scream as bloodloss began to take effect.Shrapnel hooked the crowbar onto the back of his jacket and dragged him to a nearby treeline.

Once at the forrest the wild dog began to have a meal well deserved, some wild cyotes tried to sneak in for a bite but with a vicious growl, they ran away. Calypso's scent hit his nostrils and his interest in he halfway eaten corpse was lost. He was a few feet where Calypso had been shot and was able to pick up a scent. he followed the scent all the way to the roof tops, all the way to the front of the titan's tower. He thought for a moment deciding that the reward for this might be actually worth the work. He recognized the look of the door. definitely a lock... looks like he'd have to find a control panel... perhaps if he cut the electricity he could kill all the security efforts. Shrapnel searched around for a good while for anything that looked like a control box, a breaker or anything. he eventually found a breaker. after ripping it clean out of the wall along with some wires he ripped the door clean off it's hinges. He sniffed around for a split second before taking off down the hall to find a place to set up an ambush for some unlucky titan.

"Oh, friend, don't worry… One, I'll certainly be much better after this…"

He smirks.

"And two, well uh… You won't have to worry about dying."

He sends a probe of electric blue magic jolting into his shoulder, standing on both two feet again. Ben feels a strong ache from Gray's touch, accompanied with a rapidly growing sense of weakness.

"I never kill my prey."

He grins, his canines now sharp as his eyes turn electric blue, digging his fingers to hold an iron grip on Ben as his ability to stand decays rapidly.

Raven's dreams made her shake. Her body way suspended in air, not touching her bed. Sweat was building from her body, the beads soaking her clothes. 'No...Stop...' She moaned in pain, wanting, begging the tortuous voices to stop.

Raven's cries echoed the dark room. Suddenly, a bright light began to blind her, and her arms came up to protect her.

"Now, now, my child, there is no need to worry." A calm, sweet woman's voice said. Raven opened her eyes, and immediately tensed as the elderly woman before her smiled. "What ever is wrong, my dear? I mean you no harm. Come inside, come inside." She cooed.

Raven's body slowly lowered on the the bed, as her nightmare began to calm. Her breaths became deeper as she slept. Her soul trusted this figment of her imagination, but her mind was on edge.

"Now, now, my dear, what are you running from?" The elderly woman asked, as the scene had suddenly changed. Raven was sitting on a chair, the chair was tucked in a small table, and the small, round table had snacking food on them. Raven looked down, as she had something hot touching her hand. Tea. An herbal tea by the smell of it. It seemed familiar, but she couldn't quite place it. She took a sip.

"The-the voices." She said immediately. She was surprised by, not only her quick, unintended response, but how eagerly she trusted this woman.

"The voices, my dear? What ever do you mean?" The woman asked, her voice dripping honey.

"They were chanting and-" Raven's voice cut off as she had suddenly forgotten what she was about to say. "I-I don't remember." Her confusion hadn't lasted long as she looked at the woman. "How are you, today?" She asked kindly, her voice now honeysuckle sweet. She saw the dark cape wrapped around her, and suddenly despised it. "Let me get rid of this horrible thing." She smiled, as she tossed her cape away, and drank more tea.

"That's very good, my dear." The woman said with a smile.

"This is so good, what is it?" Raven smiled.

"Oh, the tea? Thank you, my dear, it's a concoction I created myself." She said sweetly.

The smile never left Raven's face as her mind slowly gave in to... this. Whatever this may be, she enjoyed it. She had no problems. Nothing to worry about. No villains to get away, to hiding herself, no Beast Boy...

Beast Boy... "Grandmother, what is love?" Raven asked weakly. She noticed her voice had changed to that of a child.

"Nothing for you to worry about." She answered.

Beast Boy, Star Fire, Robin, Cyborg... Those names became an anchor for her as reality set in. She looked down at the tea that she was about to take another sip of.

She blinked once, twice, three times. She looked at the woman who wore an expectant smile, and set the tea down. Raven looked at the woman in confusion.

"Poor, poor Raven." The woman began to chant.

"No... not again!" Raven shouted as the eyes of the once kind woman, darkened and the walls began to melt. Raven ran to the door, but the knob had disappeared.

Raven's body was on high alert, as she tried to jolt herself awake. Her body was suspended again.

"Poor, poor Raven... It's always just about you, but let me show you true pain, and how you'd really look black and blue!" The voice of the woman chanted.

Raven was suddenly awake. Her hand pressed hard against her chest. Her eyes drooped, but she was on high alert. She relaxed slightly seeing the familiar outline of her room. Suddenly, the dark that she once embraced, brought her fear. She slowly leaped from her bed, and decided to head to Star's room to sleep for the night. She knew that if she were going to get any sleep, it wouldn't be alone.

Raven sighed as she reached Star's door, oblivious to the darkness that filled the air, and surrounded the Tower. She knocked once, hoping Star would just let her in and not ask questions.

@DarlingWaylonPark

Star was deep asleep, and it took the second knock to actually wake her up. Blinking her green eyes open slowly, she rose from her bed, "What is the urgent knocking about, I wonder?" She opened the door, seeing a distressed Raven behind it. "Oh, Raven! What is the matter?" She opened her bedroom door further, "Please, come in! Tell me what is going on." She closed the door behind her once inside and gestured for her friend to sit on the edge of the bed alongside her. Star was greatly concerned, and she hoped she could help her friend in any way she could.

Raven knew Star would ask questions, and maybe it would be good to let it all out. To trust her... but no tonight.

"I-uh-had a nightmare, I guess, and I wanted to know if I could, maybe, stay with you tonight?" Raven asked shyly. She wasn't used to this, and never thought that she'd actually be doing this. "It's okay if I can't, I'll just go find somewhere else to.." She rushed to say, hoping Star would disagree and let her stay, she doubted anyone else would let her stay with them.

Ben was considering trying the lottery - his predictions seemed to be rather accurate recently. But then again, he'd probably just end up predicting a loss. And he'd probably be dead before he could try. Oh joy. It was the numbness that made him realize that something was wrong. Well, apart from all of the other stuff that seemed super sketchy beforehand.

The young man immediately pushed himself away from the stranger, his eyesight rapidly dimming. He had to get away. He didn't want to die like this, forgotten and alone. He wanted to die in his sleep, surrounded by explosions and money. Or exploding money. But not now! He still had a whole life to live! Or...some semblance of a life.

For the first time in a while, Ben felt terror. He had grown accustomed to brushing against death, but it seemed that this was it. His luck had finally got to him. Even if he did survive, he wasn't sure how much of himself would remain. As Ben blacked out, he wasn't really sure of anything at all.

@Midnight Peace

"The nightmare?! Goodness, Raven, I am extremely sorry to hear of this! Please, by all means spend the night in the bedroom of mine, and I shall make sure the nightmares don't come back any longer, alright?" She smiled sympathetically and took Raven's hand, giving it a comforting rub as she looked up into her eyes, "Do you want to speak of it? It helps to get such things out in the open, that way it is off your chest." Star honestly hated the nightmares, she herself got them from time to time, about when she escaped from her own race, and eventually joined the Titans-except the bad dreams ended differently, with her own Robin ending her. She knew that it was all illogical, but it still gave her great pain when she woke up. She could only imagine what Raven's could be like.

"Are you sure you want to hear them?" Raven asked, unsure that Star could handle it, unsure that Raven could even explain. She wanted to let it out, to battle her typical behavior and trust someone. She wanted to talk about her issues with Beast Boy, and see if someone else could make sense of them, she wanted to let her mind have some rest, but she was far too unsure. "Maybe we should just get some rest?" I suggested, hoping Star would take her up on that offer, but she knew Star, and she knew that might not happen.

@DarlingWaylonPark

"Well, of course I am sure! You should not carry this burden at all, and if you keep it bottled in something bad will happen, I fear." She smiled a bit, "I know you wish to rest, Raven, but what if the nightmare comes back? If you talk about it, it is out of your mind and elsewhere in the air, and it will not harm the mind again when you sleep. You can trust me, Raven, if you swear me not to speak of it to anyone else, I will keep the promise."

Raven sighed, she was right. Wasn't that the reason she came in here? "Okay." She sat on the bed, and wrapped her cape around her tightly. Then she began to explain her dreams. "First, I was..." She trailed off, not wanting to mention Beast Boy, that would be a conversation for another day. "in bed.. I woke up, and I felt weird. Then I fell off the bed." Raven was trying to brush past that part as quickly as possible, a blush creeping across her cheeks. "Next thing I knew, I was in this room. It was a dark room, and these..these voices." Raven trailed off, thinking about it, the room still fresh in her mind. The cold, desperate feeling grasped her again. "They were...mocking me. Rhyming, terrible, horrible things. And this old woman tricked me with this drink, and she started rhyming too!" Raven was desperate now, trying to but what had happened into words, but failing miserably. "Ugh. Maybe this was a bad idea." She said, feeling stupid for being so afraid. It was all in the moment, in the feeling of the moment.

Raven wanted Starfire to understand, but at the same time, she wanted to yell, and argue, and hide back in her room. A room she couldn't be in right now.

Before Ben took a fall, he caught him, lowering him to the ground. Physical trauma made for a messy feeding.

Gray grinned down at the stranger, kneeling, placing his hand onto the neck of this poor soul, his electric blue, glowing eyes the last thing to fade out of his sight.

"Sweet dreams, lass."

He feels the dusty, light essence of Ben's life travel up his arm, into his torso, his stomach, his heart, his lungs, he feels every cell in his body being replenished, healed beyond original quality by the life force of the man laying before him. If a being who could watch the energy, or some aura reader could observe this process, they would see the golden, airy appearance of Ben's energy become thick, harsh-lined and electric blue as it flows up Gray's arm. He raises his eyebrows as Ben fades from consciousness, feeling as the energy he saps unravels, stripping his victim's life down to it's core.

Gray always felt tempted to pick off the core. In the few times he had absorbed the energy core of another human being, the experience was... Exhilarating. It brought about such a sense of power coursing through his body that it carried with it euphoria, making him feel as though he could hold the weight of the Jupiter in his hands and smash the whole of Earth with it.

However, as much as he'd love to, he knew he couldn't just leave him dead here. Especially since that would mean he'd just have to get one more. And that would mean another and another, and soon enough he has to move because half the city is dead and all eyes are looking at him.

So instead, he waited until he got to the very end of the core's shell, feeling the orb of sheer energy that surrounded his heart, poking at it. Perhaps... just a taste...

He frowned, closing his eyes and retracting his hand. Life essence was his food, but the cores of those were more like drugs.

They were the densest part of anyone's energy field, the part that generates energy itself. And since he left it in, Ben would be conscious enough to walk in twelve hours or so, though the lethargy wouldn't wear off for twenty-four, or longer if he has poor nutrition and an insufficient amount of sleep.

Before he goes, he places his hand on Ben's forehead, focusing to find the circuits of nerves that resided in his mind, and the ones that had been recently activated to form this memory. They were noticeable, still having fresh

He gave a small amount of clustered energy to that specific area. This made it so that if Ben had attempted to stimulate this passage of nerves to remember the details of the night, including his appearance, the sparks of energy would shoot through his brain's neural pathways, causing a very unpleasant headache. Though, this headache would most likely become less and less painful after the first two tries, so he hoped this would scare Ben away from thinking about the night after the first couple of tries.

After this, he stood up, whipping his hoodie back up over his head.

He gives a smirk down at Ben's unconscious form.

"Let's keep this between us, yes?"

With that, he gave a small snicker, and then walked off...

The first capture had gone successfully. But there was still much to eat in his night of hunting.

Wish me luck.

Starfire listened with silent respect as Raven told of the nightmare. Frowning deeply, her heart really went out to Raven. She gave her friend a hug, tears in her eyes, "No, no! It wasn't a mistake, I am so happy you came to tell me this, yet I feel pained because you had such the terrible nightmare! Please, stay here tonight, I insist!" She looked up to Raven and smiled, releasing her from the hug. She knew Raven wasn't a hugging kind of person, but Starfire just felt the urge to! "Perhaps we can look in the dream journal and interpret what this all means tomorrow? We can do the research on it!"

She smiled, a weak on, but a smile nonetheless, at Starfire. "Okay." She said as she got in bed. "Goodnight, Star." She whispered as sleep once again claimed her.

Shrapnel could smell two female scents in a room down the hall... what if one is Calypso? there were so many people's scents on this tower, differentiating them from each other was difficult. But he felt it would be worth it to try and draw them out to decide whether to take the risk of this battle or not. He thought for a moment before running to the end of the hallway, then throwing his crowbar into the door, making a loud sudden bang, he then lept up, cut the ceiling tile and climbed into the ceiling in the space between the roof and the ceiling. He kept watch of who might come to investigate. Shrapnel noticed the girl who walked by earlier (Raven), she seemed to be in decent physical health, a pretty decent size. Perhaps she would be an easy target? Easy was Shrapnel's favorite thing, if he could catch someone asleep, they'd never wake up. Shrapnel followed in the ceiling where he'd seen her walk through the hole he'd made, coming to find an airvent. His claws were like can openers prying the sheet metal off and climbing in. He found himself over Raven's bedroom, laying in wait for her to fall into deep enough sleep to go in for an easy kill and hopefully drag the body else were to enjoy it.

How last night went:

Shrapnel was about to go in for the kill when another scent hit him. he traced it to an outdoor vent and noticed a one-legged pizza man, hobbling on a prosthetic to the door of the tower... Shrapnel, grabbed the man from the vent above the door, abruptly pulling him into the vents and injecting his paralyzing venom into the jugular vein. He then ate all his favorite parts off him (all the soft muscle around the back, ribs, buttocks, thighs, upper arms and entrails) and left him in the air vent. He then took an interest in getting back to Dr. Crowley before morning to tell him of his deeds last night.

-----------

Calypso had watched TV until 4 AM and fell asleep. She learned so much from the mysterious talking box! like what a "soul train" was... sort of. and what blew up in a microwave and how zippers are made... now just to find out what a zipper was. Her dreams were filled with explosions, zippers and some good old Jimi Hendrix. Not even the sound of a crowbar hitting the wall woke her. in the morning she woke and tried to figure out how the door worked. it eventually opened and she wondered aimlessly into the hall... stumbling over a long red item on the ground. she got up, dusted herself off and examined th- OH GOD! not him! anything but him.

She knew the only person who carried a crowbar as a weapon was Shrapnel, and if there was any doubt, there were scratch marks all down the hilt from his claws, blood coating both ends along with the rust, bits of bone were even in the prying end from cleaving people apart. He'd been here and as far as she knew he still was. She panicked, backing herself into a corner so he couldn't sneak up behind her. She was on high alert, every motion catching her attention.

SHANE SNOW

<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_01/Decim.(Death.Parade).full.1827955.jpg.d177757021c8289df0441496e35849bb.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="96953" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_01/Decim.(Death.Parade).full.1827955.jpg.d177757021c8289df0441496e35849bb.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

After sending off Tom that morning to deliver some complementary pizzas to the titans, he had continued to work, once Adriana actually showed up. Shane threw on his coat and headed out to find Tom. Now he stood in front of the Titan tower staring at the body of Tom, damn Tom actually worked now what was he to do. "
How peculiar these wounds are...hmmm well Thomas I will find them for you" Shane says trailing his fingers across the wounds, he looked to the Pizza, Damn he never even delivered it and now they had blood on them. Good thing Shane brought extras for the Titans, he guessed the worst when Tom did not come back, seemed like Shane would be the only one coming there if they ever wanted anything delivered, he could defend himself. He was really good at seeming like a weak civilian then shattering that illusion. What a word to use, shattering. So familiar. Shane sighed and looked into the vent at his friend, what an eventful day it already turned out to be. Shane took a deep breath, seemed it would just get worse and he knew it.

Shane wandered up to the door and looked around for some sort of doorbell, he found one and rung it only once and followed up with a soft knock to show he was there for no trouble, also he had pizza so you know, not very threatening. Plus the Titans had seen him before working at the shop every time they came in they just never really said anything because he was just a chef, back then they had more waiters and better workers like Tom. Now he had left Adriana to tend to everything, knowing her she was on her phone not doing her job, the thought of hungry customers made Shane cringe. He knocked once more hoping that Cyborg would get a proximity alarm and come to see what was happening, that or Robin. Shane looked at the other pizza that was left outside the box and opening it, yeah no good. Seemed to have gotten trampled on and covered in blood. Shane would just clean it up after he handed the pizza off to the Titans.

Because in all honesty it was Shanes worker so it was his responsibility, you know to clean it up. Weird thing was this whole time while he was thinking he seemed unafraid, of everything. He also did not seem excited to see the titans just sad that he had lost a worker and wanting to punch the person who did it. You know the usual. But when he looked at the bloody pile in the vent he showed no emotion or felt none. Unafraid of the villain who did it. But that was Shane. He seemed not to care about that kind of stuff. Life was too short to be honest, and he planned to live it to the fullest, he also knew deep down whoever did it could not hurt him...I mean he was next to the Titan tower right, they could defend him. Or was he thinking of something else. For any other sane person, they would high tail and run but for someone as odd as Shane, they stayed and did there job even if the smell was sort of repulsive. Well not horrible, Shane had smelt it before somewhere, he just could not remember. Shane really hoped someone would hurry, he really needed to go work. While he waited he pulled out his cell and called up the boss "Tom has met an unfortunate end so we are going to need a replacement and probably a really good mortician because he is in pieces." he says leaving a message for the boss and waiting again now staring up at the cameras only one eye showing.

Beast Boy woke up after hitting his hand on his nightstand after rolling over. "AAAAAAHHHHHOOOOWWWW!!!" He got up and checked the alarm: "9:30am". It was fairly early, especially for a weekend. Not sure of what to do, Beast Boy walked out of his room. After last night, he had left over thoughts about Raven. Huh... Where was she? He went over to her room and found the door to be unlocked...which was strange for her. He hesitatingly walked in and found it to be vacant. Debating on moving forward, Beast Boy reluctantly completely submerged himself into her bedroom. Feeling paralyzed by his inner thoughts.... Beast Boy slowly moved towards her bed. He picked up her sheets with his hand. They were light and fluffy, and surprisingly good quality. A random idea crossed his mind, and he waved it off. Until, he invited back in. Sheepishly, he brought the sheet closer to his face and sniffed it. It smelled.... nice... actually.

Wow... That's Raven's scent.

Raven woke up rather early, or late, she couldn't really tell. Star's room was surprisingly dark, especially for such a bubbly girl. Raven decided not to intrude much longer, considering Star was fast asleep.

She walked out, and towards her bedroom, knowing she needed a change of clothes, but dreading going into that room.

'And a shower would be nice.' She thought, just before she noticed her bedroom door was ajar.

Raven immediately tensed as she slowly approached the door, and peaked inside. What she found both surprised her, and confused her.

"Beast Boy?" She called out, surprise evident in her tone. Her heart clenched in pain, but her body heated up as she remembered the beginning of that terrible nightmare.

He's touching my sheets... In my dream he was naked in those sheets... so was I..

The blush never seemed to stop spreading and she had never been more thankful for her cape.

"What-what are you doing in here?" She asked, sleep also evident in her tone. Strangely, she wasn't angry. She was too emotionally drained to be angry. Instead she grabbed her cloak, and wrapped it tighter around her body. She couldn't allow herself a moment of weakness with him.

He doesn't care about you... not in the way you want. Her mind reminded her, as her focus was suddenly on the ground.

She just wanted to be alone now, alone to heal from the truth.

"WAAAAH!!!" Beast Boy yelped as Raven caught him in her bedroom. What do I say?! What do I say?! Beast Boy nervously dropped the sheets while trying to come up with an answer. "I...uh...I- I left something in here I think! I was just looking to see if it fell under your sheets." He said , blushing behind his green cheeks.

Raven seemed to be kind of off today, so maybe he could get away with it. The truth was though, he was in her room.... holding her bed sheets....
