Not a whole ring, but one on a MUCH, MUCH smaller scale. Halo rings are stated to work by using a energy to "by sending out radiation, targeting certain cells in the nervous system, which includes, but is not limited to, neurons, by harmonizing all neurological frequencies." So, AoK would be making like a car sized bomb or something on that scale, and detonate it.

Plus, Aok is made of Huragok machinery/DNA mixture.. its weird... which are as smart as supercomputers.
