The knight glared at the high priest unsure of how to react. The beastgirl was fighting him but he turned his focus to him now and he wondered if it was proper to strike at him, but the thought was interrupted by the sound of stone grinding against stone. His eyes darted to the source and saw a pillar had been destroyed. "Betrayal? I see." He dashed at the high priest and threw a lighting fast jab to his throat, but before he could escape the temple it fell all around him.

Minutes passed before Hildebrand could dislodge himself from the rubble, all the strength in the world doesn't matter if you don't have room to move. His armor was battered and dented and a few of the joints could no longer move but after a few forceful flexes, he forced the armor to move again even if by breaking it. The only upside to this sudden treachery was the gap in his helmet was bent closed. "Traitors deserve death, but my mission is more important than personal grudges. I must continue on." The knight stood and took in the carnage around him, fire was starting to spread and there were few voices in the immediate area. "Satisfactory." He dusted himself off and walked off into the wilderness, eager to find the next town to raid.

Also Hildebrand will return for the sequel.)

“Can you create me some bandages. My arm is kind of in a reck.” He stated lifting his arm as it came out of hiding under the clothe. “I hate holy magic casters. They cause me the most trouble.” He watched as the civilians scared run around in fear. The building he came out of completely caved in on irseldbas there was no saving it. “The old man, he was hiding this whole time and I had a feeling if i released demonic magic he’d show to try and counter it.”

Kuto pulled out the artifact from his clothe it was a bright shining monocle. “There was no map to begin with the man said. We’re leaving this town as it’ll burn to ruins.” He stated to her in a cold tone. “We got what we came for.” Kuto stated as he began to walk off from the kitsune. He didn’t bother asking about the knight as they were never allies but just people headed to the same spot. A women tried to come behind him and stab him with a knife as he grabbed her by the throat and choked her. “Parish.” She screamed in pain as she was being burn alive, swallowed by the flames. He let her burned body go as she fell helplessly a kid watched his mother die before him.

“You killed my mother!!!” His magic power rose as he released a small slash of wind towards Kuto and Yuki.

“This is interesting.” He blocked the attack as it was to weak to even inflict pain and he showed his flames from the palm of his hand. “Run and live long kid. Come and find me one day in sight of revenge.” The kid took his advice and ran of. “Too bad kids are gullible.” He threw a giant ball of flames at the kid burning him. “Let’s get going before the wild fire fades off in the wind.”

Septimus listened to Kai share a bit of information about his family though his brothers disappearance clearly troubled him quite a lot.

“It's alright Kai. After we are done here fending off these undead if you want to talk about your lost brother or something I'm sure either I or one of the other knights would be glad to listen” he said trying be supportive. “To answer your question though, no these scales do not keep me naturally warm. If it's cold out I feel cold if it's hot out I feel hot. Thing is the cold makes me feel really cold and tired while the heat makes me feel more active. Luckily I've been able to keep warm with my flame breath and by staying active with the constant fight against the undead” he said in an attempt to change the subject.

"Ah yes, the road here was quite rough ma'am, these soliders are too reckless, and I had to constantly save them from their actions."

Just then The knight of Six walked in, practically unscathed..

"You are right on time, we were about to go in."

He slammed his sheild on the ground and turned to Rinzler. The impact the shield made created a loud bashing sound, which echoed.

"Rinzler, lets go. I will make my objective to provide defensive support to all of you, you two should assist the young master in terms of an offensive attack. Anything wrong with that plan?"

As Stigma approached, Cypher bowed her head to the other woman in greeting. "Perfect timing." she said with a slight smile.

After Pentario spoke, the loud sound that came from his shield worried her a bit. It would be drawing some attention towards their location, but she knew that together, they could take on Grigori. Before the Inauguration of the Knights of Sumaru, Rinzler read up on each of the Inductees. She made sure to ask the Sixth: "It is true that you can wield fire, yes?"

Quickly thinking of all possibilities to take down the necrodragon, she opened her mouth to tell them their chances. "I do believe our best bet is for the Emperor to continue his distraction, while the three of us go for his main source of power: the crystal." Cypher said as she peered around the corner to see the said crystal glowing with power. The dragon's back was turned to the glowing object and was facing the Emperor not taking into account that the three knights were there. Yes, they definitely can get to that crystal. "If we get caught, I know that every dragon -- just as any race -- however powerful, has a weak point on their physical body. An Achilles heel if you will. If we can get to it, hurt him there, we can have enough time to fully take out his main source of power."

Knowing that she's gone through as many possible situations as she could in the past few minutes of how this could go, she knew that this would be their best chance of ridding themselves of Grigori. "If he does decide on attacking, sooner than expected, I want to make sure that not a single one of us dies."

At this point, Izuru was ducking under the bites and claw swipes of Grigori. Blocking with Erika, he saw Pentario, Stigma and Rinzler off to the side. Using a Summer Flame Slash, Izuru left scorch marks on Grigori before sending Erika to talk to Rinzler. Now in human form, Erika somersaulted over to the Knight of 0. "Captain Rinzler... His Majesty wants you and your Legions to swarm the crystal with Sir Pentario and Lady Stigma. Of course, he said that he needs to hold Grigori for a bit... I'll open a chat so he can tell you himself" Erika clapped her hands together. Hello? This thing on? TAIL!...Anyway... Stigma... you and Erika need to make a hole. A hole big enough to trap Grigori in. Rinzler I need you to flood that hole once Pentario and I drive him in there. I'll take it from there and you lot destroy that crystal! Izuru nodded at them before looking at the ceiling.

Grigori opens his mouth and unleashes his corrosive DEATH BREATH which causes a small group of arrogant satyr recruits to instantly decay into bones. Punching him in the face, Izuru stops him from using another. Looking at his oldest friend, he mouths "You have your orders" before rolling away from a tail swipe. Erika chirps in with "As the Captain would say... Another plan from the Emperor of Morons"

And so the the tenacious tunneling by Trinity and her sappers continued onward through the rocky terrain of Mount Snowden. In the back of Trinity's mind there was a peculiar thought; however for the moment she did not decide to address it. After all she needed to keep her energy and intensity focused on the task at hand, which was excavating this mountain to reach the lair of the villainous Grigori. Each stroke of her armored fist continued to be delivered with a passionate blow, as the gauntlet made its distinctive sound and produced its luminous sheen.

Sweat cascaded down Trinity's brow as she continued to exert herself as she knew that she was the linchpin to this plan which she concocted. She couldn't let anyone down, well emotionally as it was her job to bring people down literally, as she was a digger. Her life was molded by experiences descending ever further into complicated labyrinthine tunnel complexes. If Trinity Tercet Thricecoined couldn't properly lead these people to the loot and treasure she promised this monster probably had, well what would she have left?

Alpacas.

While they were nice, Alpacas didn't always have the same value as adventurous mining to treasure. And Trinity yearned for treasure.

"KIIIIAAAAIII!" yelled out Trinity as she delivered a jab she took longer to wind up. Clearly she was upset by some doubt she had given herself. However it was at that moment she remembered exactly what thought she pushed out of her mind.

She ran into a load-bearing structure.

There was an intense rumbling as she immediately turned back to face the group. "Aha- uh, in my expert opinion..." Trinity began chuckling as she began feebly trying to push her compatriots back to avoid what was bound to happen next.

"Movemovemovemove!" Trinity began howling out as the rocky floor that served as the tunnel began to collapse from underneath her feet.

Great piles of debris, mostly of rock but with the right glimmer there were some mineral cluttered among it, began falling down with an intense force down upon where Grigori, the Emperor and the other knights Stigma, Rinzler and Pentario were gathered. Rocks showered upon the area with a great density; and some of the rocks which had missed had begun falling through the floor beneath.

...As for Trinity...

...She was also falling among the debris. Looking down she yelled out to everyone.

"I TOTALLY MEANT TO DO THAT!"

The moment the enchanted sword-human arrived after she finished her plans, Rinzler shook her head in disappointment. "Not again." She listened to Erika's message and scowled at the plan. "Why in the world would--?" she stopped herself there when she heard the messenger say something familiar. "Yes Erika, you're slowly starting to pick up on my commentary. Not quite the Emperor of Morons... I would have to say 'the Moron Emperor'."

After Erika left to assist Izuru, Cypher muttered just loud enough for the other two knights to hear, "I've said it before, and I'll say it again: with every plan that comes out of his mouth, I have to fix it." She knew that 'digging a hole' as a trap doesn't keep a dragon down. All dragons have wings for that reason. Additionally, flooding it would not help since most, if not all, dragons learn to swim. She pinched the bridge of her nose. She hoped that Pentario and Stigma would also see the flaws in this plan. Orders were orders though.

From out of nowhere, Cypher heard a rumbling from above. Rocks and rubble fell down from the ceiling. Thankfully, she was out of the way for any of the rocks to truly harm her; however, from above she heard an "I TOTALLY MEANT TO DO THAT!"

Oh no.

She saw the Knight of Three falling with the debris and leapt into action. Running at full speed and raising her arms, water from the swampy grounds followed, lifting her towards the falling knight. Taking some extra water she was able to deflect the rubble falling towards her, and soon enough, the other knight fell safely into her arms. The swamp water cushioned her landing into Rinzler's arms, and Cypher breathed a sigh of relief. Commanding the water to lower them, she quickly dodged the falling rocks to get the Knight of Three over to where Pentario and Stigma were safe from the continuously falling debris.

"Are you hurt?"

Saint Rosario's mind went blank, her body reacting on pure instinct and diving into a forward roll as the fortress came crashing down upon the great lizard, great chunks of jagged stone splintering it's wingbones and shearing the membrane to tattered scraps, ensuring that the beast would never again fly. Rosario- or rather, the Holy Hammer embodied through Rosario- wasted no time. Rising to a low stance, she spun on her heel and brought the Hammer down upon the exposed bone of the creature's knee, shattering it apart like so much glass. The shin and accompanying foot dangled, now inanimate, within the rubble.

SUFFER NOT THE CORPSE

She moved cleanly into her next stride, picking her way across the stones with the practiced grace of a creature that knew only war. Grigori, for his part, had already begun shaking off the impact of the rubble- as expected of a creature that sustained it's existence with pure, stubborn willpower. Crossing the length of the creature's torso in two great strides, Rosario caught the creature's lower leg in an overhead swing just as it pulled free from the rubble, pulping the rotted flesh and placing a man-size dent in the creature's thigh with a wet snap and leaving it just as useless as it's sibling. Grigori screeched in pain, tearing his head free of the stone and scattering more rubble across the room.

"GO, MINE LIEGE!", Rosario shouted, parring a stray stone with the haft of her mace, "WE SHALL HOLD THE CORPSE-WYRM WHERE HE LIES, BUT IT IS IMPERATIVE YOU REACH THE CRYSTAL!"

Skyler got up from her movable home and soon heard voices. Heading toward them, she peered out of the trees to watch what was happening but made sure she was in the shadows. She watched the scene in front of her and laughed when the people fell in the debris. She did her best to stop laughing out loud but luckily it was quite. She kept watching from the shadows. This is the closet she has been to other people since the village. She kept watching what was happening with interest, wondering who these people were.

Shortly thereafter an, perhaps exaggerated, assurance that yes, yes this was totally fine, Trinity began squeaking out in a dash of horror. Sure, she was a digger and had encountered this before. But the experience was always a tad unnerving as you never knew which drop might be "The Drop." As she careened downwards, she frenetically turned her head around and around to look for some place where she could maybe punch and get a foothold at to avoid falling.

Alack there was no such thing! It appeared that she was destined to take the brunt of this fall...

..But suddenly in the corner of her eye she noticed a figure ascending towards her. And she quickly landed into Rinzler's arms, albeit partially soaked. She was going to need to dry off this dress. But at least she wasn't landing horribly on the ground!

As the Knight of Zero returned her back toward the ground near the Knights of Six and Five, Trinity Tercet Thricecoined looked up at Rinzler with quivering eyes before immediately giving her a very stiff hug.

"THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOOOOOUUUU!" Trinity bawled out with some snot rolling down her face. "I-it could've gone much worse for me but, but you caught me!" She stopped sniffling for a moment realizing that, she might've admitted that she was scared and that that wasn't totally planned.

"Still went according to plan!" Trinity declared before slightly lessening the force behind her hug of Rinzler.

Again, Skyler laughed at the actions of the person who fell. Still keeping into the shadows, she watched with interest.

(sorry so short. Don't know what else to do)

She stood her ground when the Knight of Three embraced her tightly, almost squeezing the breath out of her. Cypher then thought, I haven't actually hugged someone in nearly... She was pulled out of her stupor when Trinity started saying "thank you" a million times over. It made her heart warm a little. "Uh... you're welcome." she said softly with a smile. "I didn't want you to get hurt is all." That came out a little harsher than what she wanted to say, but she hoped the Third understood her intentions.

She checked to see if the other knight was injured at all and noticed that a few tears were rolling down her face. Rinzler patted the other woman's back, but stopped when she shouted that everything was still going to her plan. At this, Cypher smiled a little wider, more amused. Yes, at least the unexpected can be factored into a plan.

The hug loosened only slightly, but soon a loud roar came from the rubble. Letting go of the Third, Rinzler turned around and saw that the Knight of Four was attacking Grigori with a hammer. The dragon was crying out in pain, attempting to free himself. Hearing shouts to get to the crystal, Rinzler looked to Pentario. Stigma had left the group to attack the dragon, or perhaps to dig that hole. The three of them needed to get to that glowing rock and destroy it before anything else happened.

She decided to unsheathe her sword, finally in this battle it could see some action. Taking some water from the ground once more, she also created a second frozen sword. Looking to the Third and the Fifth, she was ready to demolish that glimmering crystal to dust. With a smirk, she gestured and said, "Shall we?"

As the miserable passageway he had forced himself to tolerate for the sake of others came crashing down around him with deafening noise, Mickey McRory was not afraid. As the others dashed for safety in the midst of a veritable hail of rock fragments that could well bury them all alive and leave them to suffocate, nevermind those that might be crushed under the weight and those who might find themselves torn to shreds by the shrapnel, The Knight of Two retained his bearings. Because for him, this was release from a prison of his own making, a weakness he did not know he carried within him. So as the others were taken aback by the bursting wall the Champion of the Highlands burst forth as well in elated, primal triumph.

"FITE ME IF Y'GOT THE STONES YE UGLY SACK OF DUNG! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

His beastly roar resonating in the chamber, Mickey McRory came crashing down along with and completely unhindered by the debris, his bright green clothing and flame-red mane easy to spot even in the chaos surrounding him. He lacked the grace and reflexes of Saint Rosario so he did not roll, he did not gracefully swoop in to battle. Instead, he carried a rock. A big fookin rock. Still howling like an animal, all 285 pounds of pure muscle power brought down the veritable megalith like a furious meteor and another explosion resulted, the stone shattering into a million pieces against Grigori's skull with enough force to send devastating shock to its brain even in the unlikely event that the bone hold together fully.

Kai watched Septimus as he described his features on his scales. “I see so depending on the weather you’re either useful or not. Cool, in a way but sucks. Im more active when it’s cold. Well my new friend would you like to stand around and talk more or shall we go invade that palace with the know of three?”

“I have a feeling the others are waiting for us.” Kai told Septimus as he wiped his face from all the snow. “You know, one day I want to spar each knight to test everyone’s strength and even my own. Everyone has some type of crazy ability.”

Skyler saw the dragon still fighting the other knight and decided to do something. She pulled her bow from her back and took out an arrow. She aimed it for the eye, let go, and watched it as it flew through the air, landing exactly were she was aiming, she beast roared and she quickly pulled out another arrow. this time, she aimed it into the mouth that was open. Quickly letting go, it again flew through the air, choking the beast who soon fell, then laid limp on the ground.

'Hopefully they don't know where the arrows came from' she thought, going back into the shadows, watching intensely to see if they notice what happened.

"Emissary of Oblivion"
Knight of Six

▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █ Ω █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁
Stigma was a bit impressed with her emperor's combat ability. He seemed to be holding strong against such a dangerous foe, even though he tended to act a bit... disorganized most of the time. A misleading characteristic, but one that just made him a more endearing leader. When his blade Erika, if Stigma remembered correctly, came to them to relay his orders the Knight of Six gave a very disapproving look toward their liege.

This is a terrible plan, she thought to herself.

Her look of disapproval turned more into a grimace of self-loathing as a thought sprung to mind.

I make even worse plans...

The cloaked knight turned her crimson hues onto Rinzler, addressing the question she asked before. "Yes, It is true. This moisture makes it a considerable effort, but I can still produce flames."

Stigma didn't really want to go through with this plan formulating in her mind, but the more she thought about the situation, the more it seemed to be the quickest way to follow through with their orders. If not the most reckless way she could choose to perform said task. Like Emperor, like Knight; I suppose.

"And if we're to make a hole, I... Think I can do that with relative ease." Stigma was groaning on the inside. Relative being the keyword...

"If we are all prepared, I will wait on your mark, Captain Rinz-"

Stigma's eyes widened as something quite unexpected occurred. It seemed to be raining in the swampy lair of the necrodragon, however; it was not your average precipitation. It was actually a lot of rocks. Big rocks.

Whether they were prepared or not, it was now or never. The Knight of Six patted Pentario on the shoulder as Rinzler ran out to save a free-falling dwarf from a painful land in the muck. "There goes a well thought out approach, I'm going for the dragon. Don't get hit by rocks. Good luck to you." With that, the woman bolted out into action. She was ready now. The knight's stance as she strode through the grimy water gave way a determination, and eagerness to begin the assault at once. Her hands outstretched and began to flex in anticipation; mana surging through her veins and giving off faint waves of heat across her skin in the humid air. While dreading the possible outcomes of this plan failing, something deep inside quivered with untamed excitement. There was no hiding that the solemn and silent Sixth Knight of Sumaru was about to enjoy burying that monstrosity of a dragon in the mud.

Dodging falling debris and the raging swings of an undead dragon were no easy task in mud, but luckily Stigma had a trump card for this sort of situation. Hissing in an ancient language, wings once again burst forth from her back and with a mighty leap, the knight was airborne. With powerful wingbeats, she flew right to the side of their wounded foe and wasted no time dropping into the water and planting herself firmly at his feet. The knight's arms raised and created two enormous balls of flame that hovered just above her palms. She growled as she slowly clenched her fists, making the flame condense bit by bit till they were nothing but pinpricks of light. Stigma's arms shook with effort as she closed her hands around the flames, and drove both fists deep into the swamp.

Beads of sweat dripped from her brow as Stigma concentrated intensely on how to direct the flames. It was a lot of power packed tightly into her grip, and she could feel it eating away at her insides bit by bit. Heartrate rising, breathing becoming labored. She could barely control the mana that begged to be let loose and explode into a fiery hellstorm around her... but that's not what she wanted, so still she held it back. It wasn't the power in her fists that truly mattered here, it was the contents of the swamp. The Knight of Six was no scholar, but she had spent a fair time traveling the world and learned much of its natural phenomena's. One of those lessons was the byproducts of decay in marshy landscapes. When plant and animal matter began to break down in the stagnant water, it would release a colorless and odorless gas in the form of little bubbles under the water. If there was an abundance of rotting plant matter, you could even have larger pockets of this gas hidden just under the mud just waiting to be released.

This gas was also extremely flammable, and would likely cause a chain reaction that blew the entire swamp out from under Grigori and Stigma; all the way down to solid stone. Hopefully with whatever her lord had planned, plus Erika's help they could stop Grigori from interfering as Rinzler lead the assault on the crystal. There was truly only one way to find out.

"Come with me into oblivion Grigori!"

With a furious scream, Stigma let the balls of flame erupt under the water, first glowing a brilliant orange and crimson hue, then turning a deep blue as whatever gases that were trapped in the water began to ignite as well. The stagnant water under Stigma coming to a boil and rising up in one massive bubble before exploding in a tower of sapphire flames that nearly licked the ceiling.

Izuru held his tongue, once again circumstances worked against him. Stop, you're acting like a child... things are never fair and you have to TAKE what you want Izuru thought to himself. Warping ahead to the crystal, Izuru takes it and lifts it above his head. Throwing at his subroridinates, he sees a large chunk break off. Picking it up, Izuru wanders back to Grigori. "Rinzler, you lead the men towards the crystal... the Necrodragon is MINE" Izuru said as he leapt onto the beast.

Impaling him through the chest, Izuru rummaged through Baggy. Finding what he wanted, he had Erika raise the water level. Leaping into the air, Izuru threw four spears into Grigori's wings, neck and tail. Scrambling to the top of the crystal, Izuru ordered his knights to stay back. Lifting his hands to the heavens and breathing deeply, Izuru summoned a massive bolt of lightning. The four enchanted spears acted as excellent conductors as the partially submerged Grigori had over eight thousand volts course throughout his entire body. Izuru survived because he was a Demigod. The damaged crystal ensured that Grigori would die permanently from this. Heading back over to Rinzler, he saw her give him the "No you cannot keep it" look. Looking over the men fighting their little hearts out to destroy the crystal, Izuru had a few men collect whatever came off the crystal.

Walking over to the corpse of the decaying dragon, Izuru clasped his hands together in prayer. Then as if by a miracle, Grigori's corpse soon began to change. His scales became bark, his legs became roots and his wings became leafy branches. Soon Izuru was looking at a tree. A very special tree, one that Yuki had shown him in the Faelands. Taking a knee, he offered a silent prayer for her soul.
1528703919044.png
PLEASE! LET US LIVE... The crystals voice seemed to echo in Izuru's mind. WE CAN BRING BACK THE ONE YOU LOVE!!! A vision of a smiling Yuki appeared in front of him. Izuru put his fist through the imposter, it connected and coughed up blood. Falling to the ground, "Yuki" was just an undead changeling. "The woman I love is dead... nothing can bring her back" Izuru said bitterly as he returned to scavenging the crystal.

Pentario was in a state of intense focus and had zoned out, he was trying to figure out just what exactly was going on. He was snapped out of it by Zero's request to attack the crystal.

"Yes we shall"

He picked up his sheild from the ground and lunged at the Amalgamation of the creature's life force. He bashed it several times and destroyed chunks off the thing. He kept at it with the others until the Grigori had fallen. Upon the sight of his emperor falling to his knees at the vision. He stopped for a moment. He almost felt a sort of pity for the young boy. Although he and his late "lover" may not have been a true love, it certainly left a hole in the boy's heart that she was gone. He started to go back to smashing the thing when he heard a voice he did not recognize.

"Thank G--"

Was all Pentario heard. This was enough to catch his attention. They should be fine to finish the job on their own, I have to see what this stranger is doing here, an assassin out for the emeperor? No it can't be, what idiot would do that here? It can't be someone who is lost either, they would have to be semi-competent to survive here. If I shout will they run? It can't be an undead, the perimeter is secure... Nonetheless... His thoughts ran across his mind like a trackstar. He gave into the action of offering the intruder a deal of surrender, given the circumstances and those around him being of the highest degree of power, escape seemed impossible for the intruder

"By order of Knight of Five, in service to the emperor of Sumaru I command you to reveal yourself of face a due punishment, you are getting in the way of an important mission and I order you to cease any aggresive action and show yourself, NOW!"

His voice reached and absurd level of volume and the gruffness nearly shook the room.

Skyler heard the order and new it was directed at her. Staying in the shadows, she held her bow close to her chest. She soon decided it was best to surrender. Putting the bow and her, she silently and slowly walked out of the shadows, looking down a the grown, embarrassed.

'What do I do know' she asked herself in thought.

“Well, I wouldn't say I'm not useful when its cold out. It's more like I have more endurance and energy when its not cold and less when it is cold” he said as he thought over Kai’s suggestion that they go and enter Grigori’s fortress. On one hand their orders were just to hold off the undead while on the other hand he couldn't see any of the other knights fighting on the battlefield which likely meant they already went on ahead and entered the fortress despite their orders.

“I’d hate to leave my regiment behind, but they should be capable of handling the lessened number of undead without me there. Hmm.. alright, I’ve decided lets g--” he said cutting his sentence short as all the undead that were around suddenly collapsed to the ground and ceased to move. The necromantic magic that had risen them had been cut off and now they were nothing more than corpses that littered the ground. The plan to destroy the mana crystal and slay Grigori must have succeeded. Quickly turning to look over to his regiment Septimus shouted over some congratulations on a job well done defending the land before turning his attention back to Kai.

“Well, looks like they won’t need our help in the fortress but they could still be waiting for us to convene with them like you said. I'm still willing to head over especially since the undead problem is taken care of and I won't have to worry anymore about the safety of our regiments” he said waiting for Kai’s response.

(Depending on Kai’s answer Septimus will follow him into the fortress or stay outside waiting for everyone to exit the fortress.)

Rinzler was slashing at the power crystal pummeling it to bits. Soon, however, the Emperor decided to break off a chunk and lodge it into Grigori's body. The lightning came and the thunder that followed shook the room. After the attack on the dragon, and taking reins on Izuru's Legion, she led them towards the crystal and said, "Have at it."

Cypher watched the whole ordeal as everyone went crazy attacking either Grigori or the power crystal. It was a nice sight to see everyone work to destroy a destroyer. She stopped her onslaught of the power crystal to allow for the subordinates to get a good hit on it. She took a step back, but from out of the chaos and the racket that was occurring, she heard someone say "Thank God."

Strange. She'd never heard that voice in this room that belonged to the Emperor, the Knights, or the soldiers. Pentario's voice broke through, and it looked like she wasn't the only one who heard this stranger's voice. He commanded the unknown being to come out of the shadows, and Rinzler got closer to Pentario to say, "You've heard it too?"

It was more a statement than a question. On guard, Cypher lifted some water up with her right hand to fiddle with it as it suspended in the air, playing it off as more nonchalant, but ready to attack anything that decided to harm anyone in this room.

Kai laughed a bit as he looked at the fortress. "That's bummer. Do you think we'll have missions without the emperor?? Like where he relies on us to do the hard work?" Kai stated looking at the sky hidden from the white coat of snow. He cracked his knuckles and look straight ahead. "Let's go see the others." He stated running off ahead of Septimus. There was no time to wait their allies were finished and Kai wanted to see what everyone looks like after the math. The faces of his new founded friends were the one thing he wanted to see first. "Keep up Sept." Kai shortened Septimus name hoping he would accept the friendly gesture. Of course if he made a negative reaction Kai wouldn't say it no more.

While they ran it hit him, what Septimus said. His thoughts on his brother really clowded him as a person. Kai never really knew it was so bad when he pondered on his lost brother. Well his brother does have a extremely high bounty on his head, and is basically hunted by every imperial dead or alive. Something had caught Kai's eye as it was smoke coming over the mountain tops.

"What the hell is that?" He stopped running to stop and see that it was a huge fire going on in a nearby town. "Sept you see that? Someone's in trouble!"

Kai thought to himself how was it even possible for it to be fire out in the snow.

Skyler looked up at the group of people standing in front of her. So far, no one noticed she walked out. She gave a small grin on her face. The person who called out to her didn't even seem to notice she was their.

'This is my chance to get away' she thought, turning, getting ready to leave. Just then, she ran into the forest, not caring about all the noise she was making. She quickly got to her portable house, packed up and got ready to leave. When everything was gathered, she looked back the way she came, then started off, walking, in the other direction
