Fandom Super Smash Bros. (OOC)

I want y'all to embrace the world of Nintendo in it's entirety! I've been trying to bring in as many different creatures and people as I can for enemies and NPCs; feel free to do the same.

I haven't put too much thought into Final Smashes. If I'm following the lore from their respective games, Pit and Toon Link wouldn't be able to use their FS at all. Pit lost the Three Sacred Treasures, and in the RP itself he's lost one of his unicorns. Toon Link loses the Triforce of Courage at the end of Wind Waker. In the old RPs, it was common for folks to use dice rolls to determine whether a FS hit their target or not, but that was during the Brawl days when the FS were much simpler.

I've stated in the rules that canon doesn't have to be strictly followed as SSB doesn't really follow the canons of the various games it references. I usually have Toon Link keep his Triforce piece as LoZ RPers tend to have their characters sense the closeness of another Triforce bearer through their piece. For example, after some adventuring, Toon Link and Princess Zelda are a few meters away from each other, and the Triforce marking on their hand starts glowing, or tingling, or something.

I have thought about the SSB being unable to use their FS due to what has happened to the Hands, but some Smash Fighters have FS that's easy for them to access simply because they carry the item needed to use it (ex. Luigi's vacuum) or it's an ability they can use naturally, and so on. It may be easier to just say that Final Smashes only happen during SSB tournaments. I'm open to suggestions on this topic.

For power ups, it's fine to find item boxes and such. A character could find a floating ! block that's common in the Mario games, for example. As I said, embrace the Nintendo universe! Just be responsible with it.

Ah I was wondering about final smashes. Cus back in Inkling’s orginal game their Final Smash is a Special that happens after they paint enough ink on the ground. So if fs were completely off the table it might be a bit of a hassle explaining why they wouldn’t have access to them. But I’ll probs still try and think up a reason why they won’t go around constantly using it cus then that would probs be a bit busted lmao. Maybe I’ll just make it a reeeally big amount that they’d need to ink (but tbh considering the dlc boss battle inkling spamming their specials would be a very in canon for them to do lmao. But don’t worry that’d be way too op to even consider implementing lmao)

But more importantly I’m hereby declaring that if loz characters will have that triforce sensing ability that it will be called The Triforce Tingle

If the FS are normal abilities a Smash Brother has, then I'd just let y'all RP those abilities. They're just not Final Smashes, if that makes sense. In past Brawl RPs, I've RPed Pit having free access to his Centurions, so that would have meant he had no FS. I'll let y'all exercise best judgement on how you handle such abilities.

The Triforce Tingle; I love it! It also makes me imagine Tingle with the Triforce.

This is off topic, but since I mentioned this earlier I just wanted to say the art I worked on today is for this rp and ahhhh I am so excited to share it with y'all though sadly I didn't finish it I can share my mostly cleaned up lines but also could just be a surprise. Probably is silly for me to share this, but hoo boy I made my brain melty over this drawing

Bowser would be an interesting case... considering he can turn Giga Bowser. If we aren't gonna do FS, I imagine that form would have to be initiated by the Hands or any higher powers. Think of him as a mindless rampaging beast, causing destruction wherever he goes, and would need the combined forces of the heroes to take him down or survive long enough until he turns back to normal Bowser.

Giant Bowser in general, I could imagine Kamek charging up a super powered spell to make him BIG. But it takes a lot of energy and is to be saved in certain circumstances.

Samus' "begone th0t" beam would also be powered up by some sort of substance... or dare I say the Metroid Suit comes into play once again at some point

And the Doom Slayer... definitely the BFG. Would also need a hefty power source to get that sucker rolling, alongside having limited ammo in general. The Crucible would also have to be charged up again, most likely, as seen in Doom Eternal.

I'll leave it up to you how you handle your respective characters' Final Smashes, if you let your PCs have them. Y'all are great RPers, I'm sure you'll exercise fair judgement!

I gave Snake his infinite ammo bandana, though. Mostly so I could excuse the ludicrous amount of shooting and grenade throwing I imagine he'll be doing. And guys like Bowser have their entire army at their disposal.

In Smash Ultimate, I believe he calls down a missile strike?
