Echo smiled and looked around noticing people staring at them, "well its nice to meet you Kaleb," she said letting her hand drop from its position, "Wow really? what type of products do you use? i never thought you were that dumb" her wolf said chuckling in her mind, she scowled slightly and then paid back attention to Kaleb when he said wolf form, and then she grinned, "You're a wolf too?" she asked cautiously he looked completely uncomfortable to be talking to her and she didnt want to push her boundaries.

Echo nodded, " Yeah I'm happy there's another lycan here other than me," she said sweetly. She noticed how he relaxed and she realized that she was absentmindedly tensed up and she relaxed. "So why exactly were you trying to catch the gym on fire with wires?" she asked as she laughed softly, her wolf shutting up when he relaxed.

He chuckled while he pulled on the hair at the base of his skull "Funny. Im trying not to light the gym on fire, though the equipment is on the older side so its temperamental" he replied folding his arms across his chest.





"I pretty much had it all set up but then someone came along and caused me to whack my head and halt my work" he added dryly looking at Echo meaningfully.

April was walking across the pond of the garden with her walking-on-water spell when she caught sight of yet another unfamiliar face. Her back, technically, since April was looking at her from behind. She'd left the 2 pairs of new kids together in hopes of them bonding with people in the same year as them so she didn't linger around them for long. The difference was that, this time, the girl was alone and despite April's restlessness to move around at all times, she decided to stay and get the girl a bit more accustomed to the place.


She sneaked up behind the girl stealthily, who was luckily listening to some music. Her hands lingered above the girl's shoulders for a short while before they swiftly covered the girl's eyes.


"Boo!"

Ember winced at the sight of the slightly singed banners, but luckily, nobody seemed to notice. They looked a bit blackened, but not enough to say "Look at me! I just set all the decorations on fire!!!". Nobody seemed to have noticed, so Ember backed away and turned, to show that she had totally NOT touched any of the decorations, and it was all ok.


She looked around. A couple of older looking students were talking, surrounded by some electrical wiring, and a couple of other students were milling around. She didn't want to interrupt anyone so she stayed where she was and concentrated on not setting anything alight. She could feel her skin physically warming up, but she refused to overheat and cause a problem. If she could do so without attracting attention, she would douse herself in water for a bit. It rendered her powers completely useless, but that might be perfect in this situation and prevent any more accidents. However, people would definitely notice that she was dripping wet, and she would probably be cold when her fire was quenched.


She felt nervous and blushed, heat filling her face. She was growing steadily warmer, holding her fire in only by sheer force of will. The heat grew and grew, until she was unable to take it any longer. She glanced around, panicked and sprinted back into the stone courtyard, where nothing was too flammable. She reached her hands into the sky and a huge jet of fire erupted upwards out of her hands. She hadn't realised how cooped up her fire was getting, and had needed to literally let off steam. It was pouring out of her hands, slowing down slightly. She wondered if anyone had seen her run out, or noticed the jet of flame launched into the sky...

Shinikin jumped nearly falling down the stairs Shinikin gets a grip of the handle before she looses her blanace. both of her ear buds falling out her ipod droping a fleight of stairs Shinikin looks up " Who are you? Shinikin said as she got back to the top of the stairs.

Shin was just listing to music and he had one ear open to listen out for anything and he was walking around then he saw a girl run out into the stone courtyard and when he went out side he crouched so the girl wont notice him and then a giant jet of fire went out of the girls hands "woah" he whispered so the girl wont hear him and then he took off and put away both headphones

Ember glanced around, but she didn't see anyone. There was a large column of smoke tainting the sky, leaving a smudged imprint in the clear blue. Glancing at her hands, she was faintly smoking, and her shoelaces were once again on fire. Bending down to put them out for the third time in a day, she noticed a faint flame shaped tattoo on her hand, which was slowly fading away. Odd. Her face was flushed bright red, and she was panting very slightly. She decided it was probably a good idea too cool,off for a bit. She pulled out her gloves and slipped them on. They usually seemed to help.


This incident reminded her of the first time, she had been sitting in her science lab, toasting marshmallows over a Bunsen burner. It wasn't what they were supposed to be doing, but Ash had marshmallows, and she wasn't going to argue. She remembered being bumped by Shay, and her hand slipped into the blue flame of the Bunsen. But instead of being severely burnt, her hand just felt like it had simply been plunged into a warm bath. She had knocked over the burner as she pulled out her hand, and it had set fire to one of her books. Somebody had hit the fire alarm, and the teacher was evacuating them. She had tripped and fell, bumping her head, and the class head left without her. She got up, and looked down at her hand which was on fire still. Screaming she had tried to shake it off, and then.... Jets of fire released from her hands, and lit not just the books, but the walls on fire. She had been found 15 minutes later just sitting on her stool watching the classroom burn.


The teachers, thinking she had purposefully lit the classroom on fire, took her to the headteacher. The teacher asked her if she used the Bunsen or her own matches to light everything. Dumbfounded, Ember shook her head. Her parents had been called, and after some long serious discussions, she had been suspended indefinitely. Also known as a polite way of saying expelled. Then she got a letter and came here... Lighting many things on fire along the way.

Ember jumped at the sound of a voice asking her if she was ok. She tensed, but then relaxed, realising it was just a classmate. She sighed with relief. It wasn't as if she was expecting people to come to hurt her, so why was she so touchy?


"Uuh yeah I'm good." She said, trying to sound nonchalant about it. She looked him up and down, to see what he was, and if he did at all seem to pose a threat. He seemed almost normal, leading her to probe further. "And who are you?What can you do?" She asked mustering some attitude.


Was he new like herself, or had he been at the school for a while? How good was he at whatever he did?

Ember cursed herself. She hadn't meant to make anyone cry! What should she do? Pat him on the back and say "there there?"? What we're you supposed to do in this situation. She took a deep breath.

Ember stared. Angel... And demon? Two opposing sides, contrasting, completely separate, joined into one person... Impossible surely. But, true? Here was a living breathing example, a representation of dark and light, evil and good, sins and good deeds. How was that even possible. She chewed her lip thinking it over. Strange...


He was on the ground, clearly in pain. Was he ok? Maybe he simply wasn't supposed to tell, and telling her had caused him pain. She wouldn't tell a soul. She probably didn't need to. Somebody gossipy, a popular girl most likely, would find out and everyone would know. This was almost certain to happen, but divulging this information probably would not help him. She extended a gloved hand, so she could help him back to his feet.

"April Shards. I'm as sophomore here. This floating Grimoire over here is Noir," she said gesturing to the levitating spellbook," As you can tell from that I'm a witch. And no handshakes please. Too formal. That's why I gave you that surprise a second ago. My way's a lot more fun, isn't it?"


It was nice meeting new people, it got April excited. And when she got excited, if not loud she was fast. Or both. She wasn't going to be surprised if she had to repeat herself again.


Suddenly, a blast of fire shot through the air from the stone courtyard."


Unlike her new 'friend', as she'd already considered the new girl, April barely spared it a glance.


"Best not to be too surprised at just that. Actually, you should probably steel yourself and get used to it. Crazier stuff than that happen every day in this school. So what's your name?", she asked, as if it was more interesting than a burst of fire being blasted into the air.

"Ooooooh a playful vampire," April liked people who joked about their supernatural traits. If it was in a normal school she could understand people hiding their powers and being super anxious about being outed but this was St Lucifers, their powers were supposed to be embraced. She had hoped that she would be able to get people to come to terms with themselves and their powers more but there was little success in the past year.


"I feel like we're going to be good friends," she said with a wide grin. And not just because of Shinikin's acceptance of herself. She didn't normally get away unscratched from surprising people the way she did.


'Finally! Someone who hasn't chewed my head off the first time we've met.'

" I dont bite people that often...unless its a human..i just leave them to bleed..but animals are what i normally have..i am not that mean unless you make me annoyed." Shinikin said " I think we are going to be great freinds." Shinikin said as she smiled.
