Host Suit Upgrades for level 5 - Yet to be determined

Sherwood Sherwood it was great fun as the scene is, I thought for certain that Toni and Chaska had, in prior adventures, been promoted to Corporal? This would make them both Sergeants now if my memory is accurate.

If time is kind to me, I can look up the post where this took place.

Found it. =)

Sherwood Sherwood EDIT: I can't get the link to work to save my life. Your post is Post #241 on July 7th, 2024, found on page 10 of 19.
Congratulations, Corporal Cruse. You are officially placed in command of this squad. As for the rest of you, I am also granting you the rank of Corporal. Well done. Well done indeed."
All of our characters are Corporal rank including Axel. We're 5th level. Is that Sergeant-territory for you? =)

Derp. I was thinking that you were all still Private. Operator error and thank you for pointing it out. Yes you are all sergeants now.

You are welcome and thank you for taking it in the spirit it was meant! =)

Sherwood Sherwood Ack. I forgot to add Main Body M.D.C. boosts for the WyldKat for 4th and 5th levels. Thanks, Eon, for making a post about that for Jin.

Would you roll 2d8+8 twice, please?

Thank you, Bud!

Hey there, Kingsregimen Kingsregimen Haven't heard from you in a while, and was wondering if you needed any assistance with your character. I know you were planning on a Dreadguard, so if you want, we can start putting one together for you.

I have started the conversation with Rion Rion about joining in the game. Hopefully this will come out better than my last two attempts to bring in a new player. I still have hope that Kingsregimen Kingsregimen will return.

Cool deal. Welcome Rion Rion . Have you played the Palladium system before? As far as your character’s Host Armor, do you want to go with a hand to hand fighter or something more focused on ranged fighting? Both are good depending on what you want.

I'm preferring range right now. I haven't used the system before but right now I'm reading into it. Just figuring out how to work out the skills and stuff

Welcome, Rion Rion ! Toss your questions in here? I'll answer what a Player can (as some questions fall only to the Game Master).

Sherwood, Psychie, and I have been playing Palladium games for years. Sherwood has probably described the basics so much by now that I'd be surprised if he doesn't have them copy/pasted somewhere for easy access. =)

I see you're new to RP Nation too! Glad to have you here, fellow gamer! =)

Well, not knowing what works best for you, might I suggest you look in Sherwood's Lore Tab at the Glimmer Guns? They do good amount of damage at a long range, and there is no payload restriction to them so you don't have to worry about running out of ammo.

Skill wise, the Dreadguard gets some good skill packages, including Basic Military, Host Pilot, and Bio-Technology. Sherwood has given everyone Basic Military for free, so you can pick another program to get the freebie one, and one more. I would suggest the Athletics Program. Its solid, and it grants you access to a bunch of Physical Skills that will boost your Attributes. The Martial Arts Program or the Reconnaissance/Scout Program are good ones to round out the package deals. That leaves you with your five Elective skills to pick along with four Secondary skills to help round out your character.

So how is everyone coming along with their characters getting upgraded for level five? I want to continue with the story soon, but I also want to make sure everyone is ready to proceed before I do.

And a quick bump for Kingsregimen Kingsregimen and Rion Rion Hopefully we can get one of these two locked and loaded to play.

I don't have a level 5 Skill chosen for Chaska yet. I'm not quite certain what to do with his and Woodstock's BIO-E. I'm not certain what powers will have an effect in the game.

Otherwise, he's doing pretty good. He's proud to be promoted to sergeant and he enjoys talking with what intelligence community the Kraken has. Plus, giving Chief Rybeck and Cerberus reason to be proud is a fast way to get Chaska to grinning.

Frantic person: "Is there a doctor in the house?!"

Chaska had he been born an extrovert: "Sergeant-Dokta JinLi iz in da hooouse!" =)

At least she is not as bad as Major Doctor Ghastly from the show Evil Con Carne.

Sherwood Sherwood , speaking of credits, have we managed to accumulate any more besides the amount that Axel fleeced from us? I kinda want to buy a second Sidekick Rifle and I just wanted to make sure that was ok.
