Sherwood, you are sneaky. I had forgotten about those credits too.
I kindly disagree. I think what we pick up is our responsibility. It's one of the reasons I have that rule on my own games, "If you don't have it written down, you don't have it." Writing notes is beneficial in many ways not just for remembering loot.

Besides, anyone running a game has enough to do. As a Player, I feel I can do my part to contribute (like mentioning these credits and items). =)

(June 5 2024 post)

O.K.. So that "at least 30,000 or more" turned out to be 50K!

And on 28 August, Chaska found this along with the coded papers:

Eonivar Eonivar Psychie Psychie Sherwood Sherwood
1,000credits/4 = another 250 credits each.

If none of us want these weapons, perhaps we can sell it back to the Kraken?

With the exception of the grenades? If none of you want the grenades then Chaska would like to take them all - grenades have lots of uses.

Thoughts?
In addition to the 1,000 credits, I’ll give you guys 75% of the retail value of any weapon you turn in to the Kraken. As I said I’ll eat from my books to see how much these weapons come out to.

At least I remembered to write them down!

Damn straight you have! At least you can do as you are told for once!
That's our Sherwood! A rebel to his core!

Just look at that Avatar picture of his! What other kitty could have the strength and bravery to chase the laser dot wherever it may be found?

Eon? What do you think?
Jin took the short sword, we can go ahead and sell what we had left over. So far we have gained
50000
+12500
+250
+whatever we get from the sold weapons??? lets see, I have my book open here
Hand Held Heavy Pod Rifle Trade Value is 16000 so .75 x 16000 = 12000/4 = 3000 each
two Light Cell Laser Pistols (Splicers book, pg 133) - Trade Value is 4500 each = 4500 = 4500 x .75 = 3375 each x 2 = 6750 / 4 = 1686 per person (with 1 credit extra for the poker fund)
so total per player so far is 67436
Is my math correct?

Jin carries a missle rifle, and a shield rifle as backups...she is going to sell her bio-energy rifle she had from the beginning (only used once) so that will be
15500 credits trade value x .75 = 11625

So that puts up Jin's total to 11625+67436 = 79061...so the potential of 79 BIO-e + her banked 5 is up to 84...

So now I have to make a decision about the Sidekick rifle. Do I add a second one with the Mega upgrade, and if so, what kind? Or do I just put some more bio upgrades on the one I have now? Hmm. Decisions, decisions.

We’ll, you have time to decide.

Eonivar Eonivar If you decide to put points into strength, I recommend you go straight for Supernatural Strength - the amount Jin will be able to manipulate will increase exponentially as opposed to simply buying extra points in strength.

Psychie Psychie Chaska would have only showed up for the poker game if he was made aware of it; he tends to avoid these things if left to his own devices.

Do you want to say that Toni invited him? If so he would play, but with the condition that no money was involved for him.

Oh and I imagine he would probably lose quite badly having no background whatsoever in social games like these. =)

If Chaska plays, Axel would agree to a few games of no money, but since Axel does have the gambling skill and knows the rules of poker inside and out, he does win more often than he loses. You do note that he is a gracious winner, and a good loser on the few occasions that he does come up short.

Toni is more interested in the group having a sense of team and building friendships than trying to win some cash. She would let Chaska know about the games but would not force him to play if it makes him uncomfortable.

That is appreciated because as a character who understands and trusts animals far more than he understands and trust humans, having the option instead of an order speaks much to him.

At the moment, he's much more interested in learning how to sing to birbs. =)

Considered him as having attended and not won a single round, but he tried to have a good time and that was enough for him. Chaska gaving told Toni (and Jin and Axel) that he appreciated being included.
