“Say. If you don't mind me asking....how's everyone else doing before you came to look for me? Like,you know,Sofia,Umeko.”

“Your wife and daughter are doing fine. Apart from worrying sick in light of your disappearance that is.”

“Ah of course they would....I definitely owe them an apology once I'm back. What about Alex and your kids,especially Helena though? Even your father and mother? Kinda thought your lady would give you hell about coming here.”

“Ask that when I really "show up in person".” Scientia snarked in return.

“Huh....guess they're husbands back in their world.” Xenon mused.

“Guess I have more than enough reasons to make sure he gets back too.” Xenon muttered.

“Alright,I'm guessing the lake here contains hostile Ambie (Japanese mermaid yokai) then?” Clair noted,in which Scientia hovered up into the air and flew towards the middle of the lake,pulling out the sword holstered on his waist before firing at the water.

“I'll take that as a yes.”

"I say, those two are quite the vigilant bunch." Miguel said.​

“I'm not sure about that. But...I do admit they seem a lot more careful with their surroundings then their actions suggests.” Xenon replied.

Soon Scientia diced into the lake,before emerging with the corpses of the mermaid yokai-s.

“You gonna bury them or examine them?”

“Bury. We have mermaids in our world after all.” Scientia responded,prompting Clair to "claw" out a portion of the ground using his projected right hand,creating a hole wide enough for Scientia to dump the bodies into.

"Hmm..." Miguel is having thoughts.​

“And now we the "Aobōzu" next-”

“This one we should hurry. We can't have a blue monk that kidnaps children running amok.”

Scientia spoke and instantly flew off,leaving Clair in the dust.

“Hey- Asshole! I don't have my bike with me dammit!” Clair cursed at his cousin in anger as he started sprinting.

“...He's pretty fast at running himself though.” Xenon admitted.

"Indeed." Miguel said before the two follow.​

Back at the Tennouji Inn,all the girls (Amelia is built to be waterproof luckily) were bathing in the Hot Springs while Cheng was watching Ryutaro and the latter trains.

Ryutaro has been sweating off with all of the training he is taking. Soon after, he is done. He walks over to Cheng and ask "Say, where's Xenon, Miguel, Scientia, and Clair? Except for the third guy, where do you think they are? I'll be heading off to the springs to wash up before dinner."​

“Scientia and Clair are both off to do some bounty hunting quests my memory serves right. Meanwhile Xenon's left for the shopping district with Miguel tagging along.” Cheng answered,while the "third guy",the dog,was resting beside him.

"I don't know where the hell did you get the dog from. But whatever, I'll just go ahead then. The springs are separated by a bamboo wall so that the men won't see the women and vice versa. Don't worry, my mind is totally focused on the tournament." Ryutaro said.​

As Ryutaro walked off,Cheng glanced at the dog for a moment,causing the canine to tilt her head in confusion before the former looked back at where Ryutaro had once head off to with a dismayed look.

“But I wasn't the one who brought her here.....”

A green transparent blade soon penetrated the back of the Aobōzu,before sliding down diagonally down past the body of the blue monk.

“And so begins the judgement passed upon you....” Scientia spoke bitterly towards their target with contempt,ignoring the blood that had spilled onto his armour as he turned and walked away. Exiting the the hut the Aobōzu had sheltered himself in,he was soon met by Clair,who had been escorting the kidnapped children back to their houses.

“Got them far out back to where they belong. They're safe now. Also,you probably should remind yourself to wash the blood off.”

“In due time I will.”

"Hmm...our robot companion seems to like taking things in a more brutal fashion." Miguel said.​

“It did look like he's hated Aobōzu,or probably kidnappers in general. I'm guessing it's because of that he was less merciful.” Xenon responded before adding. “But...if I'm not wrong,the hut would've been under some illusionary spells that could give the blue monk more than enough time to flee with his belongings and the kids. For Scientia to actually just walk in and then walk out victorious in a short span of time...it's as if he had been put through such situations and knows how to avoid them entirely.”

"Hmm...probably might have experienced those." Miguel said before looking up at the sky "Its getting late. Should we head back?"​

“We better. Last thing I wanted is for us to find ourselves pitted against a "Red Giant" demon in the middle of the night. Plus,these two could handle themselves from what we've seen so far.” Xenon agreed.

Miguel nodded as the two went back to the inn.​

“We're back!” Xenon announced as he and Miguel entered the Tennouji Inn,where he was greeted with an embrace from Ruri.

“Papa!”

“Hey now.” Xenon chuckled lightly before hugging back.

"So, how's the others?" Miguel asked.​

“Everyone's getting ready for dinner soon!” Ruri cheerfully responded.

“Ouf....guess we took out time out there.”

"Aye, we never get to use the hot spring. I was so wanting to see the girls naked." Miguel said in disappointment.​
