Uh.....” Clair hesitated for a moment before searching up on the name,where he scrolled past the large sums of information present. “"Asked for wisdom","sinned for idolatry","had a son named David",blah dee blah dee blah....oh,there it is.” Clair stopped scrolling,pointing at a particular sentence which read "a grimoire whose framing story is Solomon capturing demons using his ring, and forcing them to explain themselves to him."

“That's,one of the many interpretations of him basically being the one whose captured the 72 Demons of Ars Goetia and had them spell out every crap about themselves using his "magical ring".”

"And do you think he's still alive? Or does this "ring" still exist?" Michelle asked.​

“Beats me for this world. I do know that the world I'm in,the official "Seal of Solomon" (the name of the ring) was destroyed.” Clair answered. “If we're unlucky then I'm guessing it's probably being some artifact in a museum elsewhere waiting to be picked up to control the 72 Demons.”

"I see..." Michelle said.​

The two of them soon heard Rachelle call out to everyone as dinner was ready.

“Guess we'll talk about it later then.”

"I agree." Michelle said before walking out of the room. Upon arrival, Rachelle is placing food on the table. It's crispy pork belly served with sauce made with the drippings of the meat and corn.​

Too bad it isn't warm enough to stop Cheng from shivering as he ate. It would seem that the water used to sober him up was a little too effective.

It is now dawn as everyone packed up their belongings. Their destination,Ikaruga awaits

"Oh yeah, time to pay a visit to my old hometown." Ryutaro is excited "Can't wait to meet my family again after all these years."​

“Say,Ryutaro.” Xenon asked, “Do you know any shopping lots nearby your settlement in Ikaruga?”

"Oh, there's a lot." Ryutaro said.​

“Guess I know where to go to next for a walk.”

Not sooner than later,everyone (Scientia had joined the group in the air) eventually arrived at Ikaruga.

By the time of their arrival, they are greeted with a very beautiful sight of the city. "Wow, this place looks awesome." Rachelle said.​

“I-its looks a little too similar looking to some of the buildings from the Douqi Continent in Tong Yi...” Cheng muttered under his breath in a highly disturbed tton before sighing in reluctance. “Oh well...at least Amelia likes this place.”

A passing-by dog (I see ze doggo in the image!) stopped by in front of Scientia and barked at the token-mech member of the group.

“Hello little one.”

Scientia spoke as he knelt down and gently carried the dog up,caressing the little canine with care.

"Follow me, I'll take you all to the place where I used to live." Ryutaro said as he leads the group to the house he originally lived. While on the way, he spoke "Our house is actually a hot springs inn. Mom and Dad run the place while my little sister helps them sometimes with the business. Also, she's a shut-in, but nothing traumatic happened to her. She's just that unmotivated."​

“Sounds like trying to get her out would be pretty tough....” Xenon muttered.

“A Hikikomori I see.” Scientia responded as he put the dog down,although it seemed to be staying by the mech-man's side instead of walking off.

"Yeah, but that was just a long time ago. I wonder how's she doing right now." Ryutaro said. A couple of minutes later, the group stops in front of what appears to be a long flight of stairs leading up to a large building sitting on the rocks. "Here, these steps will lead us to my former place. Man, they seemed to have renovated it." He said.​

“"Renovated it"? Ryutaro,” Xenon spoke up, “How long have you been away from Ikaruga?”

"Hmm....over a year now, I guess." Ryutaro said.​

“Sheesh....you've been away for that long?” Clair asked, “And the debt you said you had to pay off a while back,when did you find out you were in the red?”

 

[Topless]

"I was running out of money and haven't paid it for the past two months." Ryutaro said.​

“Couldn't be helped. I'll help you out with eliminating that debt of yours. I'll see if there's any tipsters around I could ask for bounty hunting quests.” Scientia offered,and which the dog beside him apparently barked too in response.

"Right, I'll appreciate that." Ryutaro said before he takes the group up the stairs, should no longer take than a few minutes. After that time has passed, they arrive at the place itself.

“Looks like you get a pretty good view of most of the cities from up here.” Xenon noticed as the group walked closer to the house.

"Otou-san! Okaa-san! Tadaima!" Ryutaro yelled as he approaches the front door. Upon opening, he is greeted by a strong punch to the face, sending him flying a crashing into a tree. "Ryutaro! My son! It's been a long time!" The father greeted as he walks out the building with a bright smile on his face. So much for a greeting.​

“R-Ryutaro! Are you okay!?” Xenon yelled,rushing towards his teammate.
