"I-Its fine..." Ryutaro said as he gets up and dusts off his clothes before looking at his father and say "Man, you haven't changed one bit since I've left." The father looks at the group and then turning to Xenon to ask "Are you all his companions? My, what a colorful bunch."​

“It is a pleasure to meet you,Mr Tennouji.” Xenon bowed. “My name is Xenon,this girl beside me is Ruri.”

“Cheng Ling. Good to see you sir.”

“Name's Clair. Tin suit beside me is Scientia.”

“I would appreciate it if you do not refer me as "Tin suit" or the like....”

The dog beside him barked at Clair as if to reinforce it.

"Hello, my name is Rachelle Valtimor."

"Good to meet ya! Name's Sidney Polledina!"

"Greetings, my name is Lorna Kadmon."

The father went silent for a moment before looking at Ryutaro and say "Yep, a really colorful bunch. Come inside, your mother will be very happy to see you."​

“Sorry. I don't think I'll be able to enter the premise without my armament living a scratchas such I'll be waiting outside.” Scientia spoke.

“Sucks to have pre-installed swords eh?”

The rest of the group entered Ryutaro's house while Scientia remained outside (at least the random puppy that accompanied him was there to keep him company).

"Oi, Yuka, our son's here!" The father said, gaining the attention of Ryutaro's mother. As the group enter the living room, the mother is seen watching television. She turns to her side and saw Ryutaro with a surprised look. "Ryutaro! It's so nice to see you again." She greeted with a smile. "Hey there, Okaa-san." Ryutaro said "Man, it's been a long time hasn't it? Say, how's little sis?" Before the mother could explain, a loud this was heard on the floor above them. "Well, that pretty much answers the question." He said. The mother looked at the group and say "My, are these your companions? I can sense the strengths and weaknesses of each and every one of them."

The mother gets up from the couch and walks over them. "Greetings, my name is Yuka Tennouji. My husband here is Ryujiro Tennouji. He and I are the owners of the Tennouji Inn. I usually run the reception while my husband does the maintenance. Sometimes our daughter helps out, but most of the time she is stuck in her room training, eating, playing videogames, and is always, ALWAYS, on the net. I hope you all find yourself comfortable here." She said.​

“Well,who knows. Maybe her net addiction could mean she has better chances of finding an info we probably may need one day.” Cheng suggested casually as he looked around.

“Maintenance huh? Anything that involves heavy-duty lifting?” Clair asked.

"More than just heavy duty. There is also cleaning and-" Yuka suddenly gets cut off when Ryujiro said "Um...Yuka, should we just take the guest to their rooms first? We don't want to keep them staying here." Yuka looked at her husband and nods. "Right, this way." She said as she leads the group to their rooms for them to settle down. "By the way, if you plan to use the hot springs, then you can, free of charge." She added.​

“Well's that's pretty nice of you.” Clair mused, “Can't imagine how jealous Sofia and Alex would be when they find that out.”

"Well, here we are." Yuka said as the group arrives at their respective rooms "Please, make yourselves at home."​

“Thank you ma'am.” Xenon spoke as everyone in the group started unpacking.

“Well,guess I'll be off to join Scientia for the bounty hunting quest now then. That and asking him where he got the dog from.” Clair notified the rest before leaving.

While the group is busy unpacking, Ryutaro went to his old room where he used to train and sleep by himself. He was accompanied by his father. Upon arrival, Ryutaro looks around and said "Man, nothing has changed since I've left. I can't wait to train for the Budokai Tenkaichi." As soon as he had said that, Ryujiro asked "So, you're going to participate in the tournament huh? That's why you came in here for?" Ryutaro turns to his father and nods. "I see. Well, you better start training then. I heard that this year's tournament will be full of newcomers like you. Just remember that no matter what happens, we'll always be proud of you." Ryujiro says before leaving Ryutaro alone to train.​

Stepping outside the premise,Xenon took a look around the surroundings.

“Well...guess I'll be on my way too now.”

"Ah! Ah! Señor Xenon!" Miguel said as he approaches him "Where do you think you off to?"​

“Oh hey,Miguel.” Xenon turned towards the group's token-skeletal comrade, “I was going to take a short stroll around the city for a while before returning.”

"All by yourself? Well, there is nothing much else for me to do so, can I come with you?" Miguel asked.​

“I don't see a reason not to do so,sure.” Xenon obliged as the two of them soon set off into the city.

"Gyohohoho! My, the place looks so lively! The buildings, the scenery, and oh, the women too!" Miguel seems to be enjoying himself.​

“There's a lot of merchandise to look at too.” Xenon added, marvelled by the sight. It feels quite like Lestallum all over again but not of ingredients. Glancing at a restaurant,he noticed two familiar members of the group.

“Looks like Clair and Scientia hasn't sent off for the bounty hunts yet.”

"Ah, it appears so. But let us leave them be for now." Miguel said.​

“Actually...after hearing what Cheng had told me about their first few bounty hunting experience,I'm kind of curious to see how they do them.” Xenon said.

"So what are you thinking? We should observe them?" Miguel asked.​

“In a way,yeah.” Xenon nodded.

"Well, if that's what you think, then I won't object." Miguel said.​

The 1v3 (Clair's fought) fight against 3 monstrous Oni-s had ended relatively in Clair's favour,as he now sat on the piled up carcasses of the Japanese ogre while marking down the quest as finished.

“Right,that's one down now.”

“And nine more to go.”

Miguel and Xenon are hiding by the brush, carefully watching the duo do their deeds.​
