Realistic or Modern Shattered GLASS - OOC

WhipDing WhipDing Purely curious, but how long ago was it that powers started showing up again?

I've left it pretty vague, but it was about 5-7 years ago. It didn't really become widespread until 3-4 years ago, though. There are cases dating back to 10 years ago or so, but those are pretty isolated.

Gonna send Lisa to do it, actually, she's proactive like that :P Will do it as soon as I find the time, probably a little later today :)
You know what I just realized.... Lisa and Alex is exactly the same height XD Although if he's using the suit he'd be 6"4

WhipDing WhipDing is there a leader to ARK I know there is no ranking system but like is there a mysterious founder or somthing?

Yup, there's the 'Head', currently hidden away in an inaccessible location. Whether the 'Head' is a person, or a group of people, or something else entirely, is unknown. Currently, the 'Head' relays orders through the telepathy of Renae Hopson.

Mkay just wondering, also one more question. Say I was to make a super speed character how fast is the maximum allowed to be?
WhipDing WhipDing

Depends how they were using it - if it was for travelling, I'd say the speed of sound (~800mph) would be the absolute highest for a high-powered individual, maybe 100-200mph for weaker characters. For combat, it'd be more 50-60mph, just because any more than that is a waste, really.

The bigger concern would be how long they could keep it up, particularly for combat... as long as you put practical limits on how quickly they tire, exact speed isn't thst important.

I'd also allow enhanced reflexes, but only while the super speed is active, just so it's actually useful :)

They'd definitely need resistance to friction and whiplash, as well as other variables associated with high speeds.

WhipDing WhipDing is there a general description of the outside building of GLASS HQ

Here's all that's really been established so far:

...by the time she woke up, they'd almost arrived at their destination. GLASS HQ. A towering skyscraper, the front of which was almost entirely glass - aside from the obvious pun, there'd been some political influence for such a glaring defense risk. It'd been felt, in light of their already weak public image, that being able to 'see' what was going on inside the building would be great for making people feel safer. A metaphor for transparency or whatever. Of course, all the more important stuff happened either in the surrounding, more combat-ready buildings, or in the fairly expansive underground section, so the point was mostly moot.

...anything else is up to your imagination :)

Would anyone mind if Aneta went ahead and intervened in Cinder's mental breakdown/rant right now? xD
