Fantasy Shadows Over Skyrim

Whatever your reasons are for being in Skyrim, you were chased and caught by the Imperials. So far you've traveled by carriage to Helgen, a charming little town where they occasionally hold executions for crimes against the empire. Once you arrived in Helgen, the others in the carriage with you were asked to get out. Most of you complied, with the exception of Lokir. Poor, poor Lokir tried his very best to convince the guards that you and he weren't supposed to be here in Helgen, on the verge of being executed.

When Hadvar called for him, he panicked and started running only to get shot in the back and killed by an arrow fired by an Imperial archer. The executions continued smoothly after that, and when it's your turn, a dragon lands on the building you're looking at while your head is on the chopping block.

The executioner falls down as the dragon... Shouts? And suddenly, massive balls of fire are falling from the sky and destroying the buildings of Helgen. You regain your senses a few moments later, and see everything in chaos as people run around wildly, screaming their heads off. And now, what are you going to do?

If there's one thing the Imperials know well, it's how to tie a tight knot. There's another prisoner joining you in the tower, a Nord male. He makes no attempt to free himself while running to cover with Ralof and Ulfric Stormcloak.
