Fantasy Seiunita OOC

It's a moderately simple concept, this plot, but I can't find where the openings are, I don't know who the players are, and I don't know the rules of the game...

The Water Kingdom hasn't started yet. And the Earth Kingdom is currently a WIP so I guess there is an opening there.

Also I need help looking for a feminine male face claim. Drawings preferred.

Ah, shadowz1995 shadowz1995 can probably help you better with this. For the most part any kingdom other than light and dark are in need of characters so that's a good place to start. The first post in OOC has links to anything you'll need.

But apparently each person is in control of the whole kingdom so what difference does it make?

I also looked at all the links and now I'm just even more lost than I was in the first place...

I really can't do this. Even if I somehow figured this out (which I know from experience is unlikely) and joined the RP, I'd be left behind by real life for just one moment too long and I won't be able to catch up again. thanks for trying though

Come on, Soul Stealer. Give this a chance.

Mm, probably last reply for tonight, gotta sleep for a test tomorrow. Also Soul, I understand the predicament and there would be DOZENS to read in order to even get a decent understanding on what's going on between the Kingdoms -- the lore behind them, the characters and etc. But all in all, it's nice of ya tohave considered Eleph's recruitment
G'night. I'm going to bed too.

EDIT: holy sht I had to like re-spell 3 things lmao
G'night. I'm going to bed too.
Sleep tight dorks.

Read this. I think I captured the spirit of heresy in this roleplay with this little short story I made.

==============

Everybody is in a tavern, accusing each other of being heretics. A priest walks into the room and notices the ruckus, and so he tries to get to the heart of

the matter. After listening to their arguments, he concludes that every person in this room holds heretical beliefs.

"So, who's the real heretic here?"
"Technically, you're all heretics!"

"Oh my god, father, don't kill us! Don't burn us to the stake!"
"It's all right, my son, I just caught my best friend fucking my goat and decided that I needed a drink today. This is why you're seeing a priest in a tavern."

"Father, if I may ask, how many heretics are in this town?"
"Everybody is; they just don't get caught. The people being burnt at the stake are either unbelievably stupid or just insanely unlucky."

"So how'd YOU become a priest and why?"
"Me? Personally? Just like everyone else, I basically became an errand boy for the church for a while and then I went to a fancy celebration where some bald guy declared me a priest. And why did I become a priest? I just wanted to hang out with my buddies since they were all becoming priests. Did you know that there are benefits to priesthood? Steady employment, respect and there's even an opportunity to become rich depending on where you are. Of course, there are real faithful people out there, but they're quite rare in number."

"I wonder, why does the church bother to hunt heretics down if there are so many of them?"
"The church only hunts down the big shots and not the small fry. Those bigwigs like to change the church from the inside out and so this kind of thing raises eyebrows. Meanwhile, most people just like to pick the safe option so they conform to the church's demands. With the Royal Army the Church's got, it's not worth the trouble contesting their claims. And the church can't indoctrinate everyone in the kingdom, only the people that are within their reach. So that's why there's such widespread heresy in the Light kingdom. The church knows that, but it can't just burn someone because they don't believe the sunshine will make things better. If that happened, half the people in this kingdom would be burned to death. So we're kind of in an impasse here."

"Just what is a heretic, father?"
"A heretic? Well, the popular definition of a heretic is someone that disagrees with the fundamental beliefs with our church. Almost everybody at some point was one, even the most devout believers have their own doubts from time to time. Problem is that most people tend to assume if you're not worshiping the Light with them then you're against them. I'd say we have redefine the meaning of a heretic or else we'd end up antagonizing folks who are genuinely curious of our faith. Skeptics would be the right term for people who simply disagree with us. A heretic should be someone who contests with the authority of the church and seeks to change it for better or for worse."

"Let me ask again, why are there so many burnings of heretics?"
"Ah, I see now. Sometimes, folks are just eager to accuse each other of heresy because they're either crazy or they're greedy. If they're crazy, and they take this bullshit seriously then they'll probably be ready to burn the everybody alive anyway. Nobody wants to be near those folks. Personally, I think even demons are scared of them. Second and much more common, are those greedy ones. People are rewarded salvation from the sins if they catch a suspected heretic doing 'questionable' acts that challenge the church's authority."

"So in reality, most of the time, the heretics are actually burning each other for salvation?"
"Yes, my son, the world is fucked up. Now I really need a drink."

Prancing format! What happened to ye', Heis?
