Exactly what I was trying to say.
Jean. Jean is a sort of anti-villain, because he has justifications, he has problems — he's a reverse anti-hero. A villain with a honour code, sometimes even legible reasons to enact his revenge. It's an unmistakable fact that he's somewhat whiny, somewhat conceited, and he's a big grudge-holder. Always has to make points, always has to do anything to achieve his goals.
What I plan to explore is his hypocrisy, the contradictions in his own core principles— the fact that his personality often clashes against one another.
He... He's a normal person, a character u try to visualize as an entire person. He's obsessive, often tries to glorify his own self — but really, just to cover up his whole, disgusting nature, and he knows it deep inside. He knows it, but he has yet to acknowledge it. Get out from his ignorant shell. And though he realizes the cynicism that plagues this world, he still tries to portray his principles, his cause, his work as idealistic.
He has his own path, his to take. And, maybe, someday, he'll get to redeem himself.
But, if Walter questions his sociopathy, he'll just answer with this:

Someday, Walter and Jean WILL clash, and I hope both of them come out as better men.
And fuck, sometimes, I actually forget what Walter is. It's like I've got some sort of amnesia or something. Meh, maybe it's all the stress, I just gotta relax.
It'd be interesting. To see what she does.
Is she gonna slip off, or is she gonna handle shit straight?
Either way, mercy is for the weak, and Jean ain't weak. Some things must be handled — handled right, I say.
Speaking of mercy, did you know that there's someone named Wenley the Mercy Killer that's going to be introduced in Walter's retinue? He's a guy who just keeps apologizing to the people he kills. Oh, and he cries during battle too.
I have a list of names I want to write down here. Do you want to see it?
