((Back from school. I don't get out until 4:30 sorry))

Victoria walked down the halls cautiously. Something felt wrong. The walls and floor were bathed in black even though she remembered the feeling of sun on her face not even five minutes ago.

She tried touching the wall it it sent some sort of shock up her arm. She yelped in surprise and furrowed her eyebrows in concern. "What the hell is going on?"

Further down the hall there was a man motionless on the floor. He looked dead. Upon further inspection...It was Marcus. The walls began to laugh at Vic in a horrific tone.

Victoria braced herself and kept going anyway until she saw a dark silhouette on the floor, lying there not moving a muscle. He looked like he was dead three times over. She crept closer and bent down to roll the body over to see Marcus. Pale and lifeless. She snatched her hand back and fell backwards trying to crawl back. The walls seemed to chant in a mocking way, almost like...Laughter.

"No. No. No. This is another test, he can't be dead. This is just a joke right?" She asked, her hand tight around her own neck as she did when she was scared.

"Marcus please tell me you're okay." She said softly, slowly making her way back towards him. The laughter around her grew louder and louder, nearly deafening as she shook him desperately.

"You can't be dead. You can't! Too many people depend on you, I-" Her voice cracked near the end of the sentence and she felt tears running down her face. It happened again. Another person was gone because of her. And all the darkness around her had to say about that was laugh. She felt her blood boiling in her veins and she stood up shakily, looking around her.

"Bring him back. You are my demons, not his. You can't exist without me. So bring him back or i'll kill myself and end this!" She shouted, tears in a steady stream down her face, soaking her shirt and puddling on the floor.

His hand reached up to her as his body began to change. His hand wrapped around her throat as he began laughing. The body changed to Camathien. "Foolish girl..." He said while standing up. "You get what you deserve from that fight before." He said before thrusting his Katana at her.  In an instant it stopped. Nothing was visible but a cloak infront of her face. Nothing audible except for the dripping of blood. It wasn't difficult to tell who took the blade for her.

She was mute in terror, fury and a deep relief. He wasn't dead. That's all that really mattered. He stood up, towering over her and snapped his arm out, ready to sheath his blade into her stomach when suddenly there was a slight breeze and she was pushed back slightly. It all happened so fast that time seemed to go into slow motion. She blinked and realized who was in front of her. Drip. She saw the blade protruding out of his stomach and gasped slightly before looking up at Marcus, and watching his eyes start to dull. Drip. She watched him start to collapse and grabbed him as he fell. The blood rolled off the Katana and onto the floor with slow heavy dripping sounds. Drip. Drip Drip. And then time sped back up. She felt his weight hit her and she held him tight, lowering him to the ground and tearing off a part of her shirt, pressing it against the wound to stop the bleeding. "No!" She yelled, checking his heart rate and his breathing. She didn't even have to put her head to his chest because she could feel that it was slowing down. "Come on, stay with me!" She yelled, holding the wound down and feeling the tears start coming down hard. Her mind was completely and totally blank. All she could think was save him save him save him save him.

Marcus raised his hand to Camathien "Brother......Forgive me...." He said before blasting him with all of his energy sending him to another dimension where he'd be locked away. He looked at Vic, his eyes hazy "See.....You really....D-Do care...." He said as he began to fade from consciousness. He grabbed her hand and placed it against his own chest. "Use your power Vic.......Let it flow....Control it...C-Center....It...."

Victoria looked at him with a panicked expression. Her powers never work when shes emotional. There was no way she could do it. Trust him. All he wants you to do is trust him. Can you just do that? She asked herself. This was the only option she had left, there was nothing left that she could do besides this. It was her last shot.

She pressed her hand firmly over his heart and dropped every protective barrier she had ever put up against her power. She stopped straining with what was within her and let it go. She let her inner beast, her inner monster, free. She felt warm to hot tingles all over her body and then it felt like she was burning. Her whole body felt like it was on fire and there was nothing left for her to douse it with. Center it. She thought, through the pain. She pushed every single ounce of power in her body to go to her hand and gritted her teeth in discomfort. "Is it working?" She asked through gritted teeth and a throat thick with tears. It had to work, failure wasn't an option.

Marcus's wound began to vanish "Like that...." He said before giving a weak smile

Sorry to all, it's been a long day) Alex woke up feeling exhausted from the night before. Every muscle he had ached but he ignored it. Whining about it wouldn't make it feel better.

Marcus's wound began to vanish "Like that...." He said before giving a weak smile

Holy cow im actually doing it. I'm actually doing it!

She kept her hands firmly placed and ignored the feeling of light headedness as she pumped all hew power and energy into this, but she knew she would only be able to do this for a small window of time, she could already see her vision going black around the edges, but she fought it because she knew that she would carry through with it.

Shadow energy began to surge around Marcus's hand feeding it to her so she could finish. He proceeded to slowly stand up, ready for her to pass out. Doing that would take quite a toll on a persons body

Victoria was shaking so hard that she could barely stand up. She grabbed the wall and pulled herself up as the darkness on the edges of her vision got closer and closer. As soon as she got up she dropped like a ragdoll.

And goodnight Seattle.

Marcus caught her before she hit the floor "Man.....I'm proud of you..." He said while carrying her to her dorm "Rest now...You deserve it...." He said as he laid her down on the bed and proceeded to sit on the edge of the bed. Just waiting.

((Que the time skip?))

Kaylin watched as other students finally got up and she walked around, questions were being asked about what class they had and whatnot. She laughed and made her way towards the other dorms and ran her fingers along the wall, feeling the moisture from earlier that morning evaporating and leaving behind heat. She sighed and kept walking until she heard people talking and she stood beside the door with the noise. Is that ...no it's rude to eavesdrop on other people's conversations. Then she went back outside and stood for a second before turning sharply and finding another student throwing a punch which did connect with her nose, breaking it. "Oww, what the hell?" The other student said nothing but did move around quick enough to hit Kaylin in the back of the neck, effectively knocking her out but not before the student knelt down and stared at her.

"Tch, what a wimp."

(I had a lot of fun typing that out.)

Alex came outside in time to see this and bolted at the other student in a flash. "You know, hitting girls isn't very nice and honestly it makes me pretty mad" he stated pounding the kids face into the ground leaving a dent in the dirt and the student unconscious. Alex ran over to Kaylin. "Hey are you alright?" he asked with concern in his voice and eyes.

Kaylin stirred and she stood before touching her nose and flinching in pain, she could feel blood coming out of it and she nodded. "My nose is broken but other than that I'm fine." She laughed and tapped Alex's head lightly. "I'll be fine, I gotten worse injuries before but I need to tell you something, come with me." She grabbed his wrist and dragged him off towards an empty area and she popped her nose back into place before turning to face Alex. "Remember when I told you about Calimarie?"

"I do recall that" Alex stated looking at her curiously.

Marcus walked into his office and sat there in the dark for a moment before speaking "I know you're there....Come in." He said with no hesitation

"I didn't tell you the entire thing so...this is embarrassing." Kaylin sighed and let the bruising on her nose heal thanks to the water in her body and she scratched her head. "So I was born there and it was full of other water elementals like my parents but five years ago our village was attacked. My parents made me run but I watched from the shadows and, well, watching your family and friends tortured and slaughtered is something that a twelve year old shouldn't see, do you agree?"

//Really hope this response is adequate

Kiara, a dark brown haired girl with an even darker shade of black tinted onto her jacket, slowly entered the room. She had been forced to put her katana away, but, being the sneaky and smart girl she was, still found a way to bring in a pocket knife, and a small hand gun into the large lobby and campus based building. It held many a close of calls, but she still found a way, she knew she made her parents proud then. But there was something about this entire thing that shook her senses, ever since she arrived at the so called "Island" which wasn't an island at all, she had a feeling that the people here weren't exactly ordinary. Ever since she even entered the building, she'd been mentally mapping and memorizing the different escape routes she could take for this en-devour. Or if worst came to worse, she could always kill the person in front of her, but alas, that would be idiotic, for she knew no other way off of this "Island", and she had a feeling she couldn't kill him as easily as suspected. "Oh better senses than I expected" she called out as she entered the office.

Marcus smirked "I am the Grandmaster after all." He said before standing up "Why are you here? To kill me? Or perhaps you have another idea."
