Michi laughed. "Okay..... Aw wait a second...." she said as she looked at the time "I have to log out.... Dinner and all that...." she said with a sigh.

Nether looked at them and gave them a charming smile. "Would you mind a forth player to join you? I don't have anything to do at this time so I'm more than open." He said as he looked at the trio.

Rhodri checked the time of the server, Michi's comment reminding him that he planned to only stay for about an hour. What time had he began again...? Well, it was probably a safe bet to log off, even if he was early. After all, he was feeling a little antsy from the virtual environment. Maybe staying an hour was being a little too ambitious.


He nodded, agreeing with the other. "I should probably get going too," he responded. "Maybe next time?" If there ever was a next time. Rhodri wasn't sure when he'd come back, if ever.

"Ahh well. Just when I was hoping to have fun." Nether said with a sigh. "Maybe some other time." He said with a simple wave as he turned to leave. 'I need to find something to do... I'm not going to get off for a while now.'

"Well then farewell, I will continue onward but will see you guys off first." Muramasa said to Michi and Rhodri. "Maybe we will find ourselves allied at a later point in the game. Till then not so strangers."

Michi clicks the log out button but nothing happens. "Oh no....." she said as she rapidly clicked it. "Not again... please not again" She pleaded as she sighed and closed her menu "It happened again....."

All of a sudden, Rhodri's breath seemed all too loud in his ears. He felt something plummet inside of him, sending ripples of fear into him from his gut to every nerve ended. It was a cold and dark feeling, making him feel slightly ill. 'It happened again'? Did that mean they couldn't log out?


He swallowed hard, trying to maintain his rising panic. He opened his menu, checking the log out button. It wasn't true. They could log out whenever. He could log out right now, take the god forsaken machine off his head, and shove it in a dark niche in his attic so he'd never have to look at it again.


...It was true. They couldn't log out. No matter how many times he pressed or what he did, he remained in the game. Stuck. Again.


"No... Y-You've gotta be kidding me..." he whispered, his voice trembling. He stared at the log out button, watching the two words which screamed up at him in a taunting fashion. Somehow, with those words visible, it felt worse than the first time.

Muramasa looks at both of them and says "No Way." He swiped his hand down bringing up his player menu and then scrolled down to log out. He pressed and then nothing happened, he pressed again and again until he realized they were telling the truth. "They really got us this time." Muramasa admitted. "The way this seems we will likely end up having to fight our way out of the game once more and that being killed in the game kills us in real life somehow. So now that we have concluded this.What are we going to do?"

He hid this instantly however and put a look of concern on his face as he turned on his heel and walked back over to the others. "You have got to be kidding me.... We have to spend another life here??" He asked rather confused by this as he looked at the trio. "This might not be mass news yet as there is no panic....'

Suddenly there was a screech, about four fantasy-blocks down the road. “WE CAN’T LOG OUT” THe voice wasn’t that scared. IN fact, it seemed a little thrilled. “WOOHOO!” VERY thrilled.


---20 MINUTES EARLIER---


Rowan had just put the new Sword Art into his Virtual Gear, and sat on his bed, putting the headset on. He was way too excited for this, but still he took a breath as he said the usual words, "Link, start!" A moment later he is shown a character creation screen, and after quickly making a character that resembled himself, he was in the game. Nothing could hide his excitement as he went throughout the first few quests.


---PRESENT TIME---


Rowan was running through streets, a grin on his face, stopping in front of people, yelling, "You can't log out!! It doesn't work!!" He laughed gleefully and ran around some more, cheering and whooping throughout the town.

"Well now it is. That guy sounds very excited though, I myself and more so like whatever about it. I guess people on the outside won't try to remove the fulldive rigs. Though others are going to flip out right about now." Muramasa replied. "Regardless of what is keeping us here, we're here."

Rhodri's blooming panic attack was interrupted by the holler of the stranger. "...Woohoo...?" The teacher's voice cracked as he processed the sound of the voice. "Woohoo?" A panicked rage slowly began to fill his gut, and he turned around to face the boy who was tripping over his own feet in glee. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? 'WOOHOO' MY ASS. THIS IS NOT A GOOD THING," he screamed, his voice cracking as he stared down the boy, completely ignoring those around him.
