Scarlett Faust
912a942adb65c3132d7f0365b48c2972.jpg

Scarlett nodded slightly when Owen told her who hit him. She didn't personally know Daniel Charter, although she had briefly met Emily Charter. Scar assumed that that was his sister. It made Scar wonder what Owen did to piss off this guy, though. Knowing the kind of person that Owen was he probably slept with Emily and that pissed off Daniel. Either was Scarlett didn't want to get into the middle of it. When it came to Owens messes she expected him to clean up his own messes. Scarlett would just be there to help him out if he needed it, like helping him cover up the bruise forming on his face. Scarlett rolled her eyes when Owen commented on them matching, "Whatever. You're just lucky that our colours work together. I wouldn't want to stick by you if we didn't. You'd throw off my groove." Scar joked. She wouldn't ditch him there, of course, but she wasn't fully lying about him throwing off her groove. This was definitely not the first festival that Scar had gone to so she knew the drill about trying to coordinate outfits with friends. Usually not to look good in pictures or anything like that but out of convenience so they didn't get lost. That was also why Scar picked an outfit with little reflective stars on it so she would be easily seen when it started to get dark.

"Oh are you planning to just go for today or are we tenting? I have my tent in the car but I wasn't sure if you were planning on bringing one or if you wanted to share with me. If you're sharing with me then we gotta set some ground rules." Scar slid a little closer to Owen and inspected his face so she could properly colour match him. Luckily Scar had taken quite a bit of colour theory in school so despite the face that Scar was a lot paler than Owen was she would still be able to do a good job. Scarlett mixed up some colour and started covering up the forming bruise on Owens face and a little bit of the redness surrounding it. She put a little setting powder and spray on his face then pushed him away so she could finish up her own makeup. After she was done she packed away her makeup bag and mirror into a bag. Everything else she needed for the stay was already packed in her car, waiting to be brought out. Scar had packed a little heavy for only a weekend event but she knew that things happened at these events and she wanted to cover all her bases.

By the time Scar had finished her makeup, cleaned up Owen, and fed the cats, her hair was dry and ready to be styled. Scar didn't plan on doing much, really. Just add some little charms to her waves and let her hair do what it did best. She gave her hair a quick spray with some texture spray then shoved any drugs she planned on bringing into the pocket of her bag. "Do you need to grab anything else before we head out? I'm not sharing my hair spray or any of my water with you so if you need to pick up anything now is the time to tell me before we head out."

When you're drunk, festivals are even better. Logan had gotten his food and he was with Paris, close to where the music was and by observing how she was dancing and looking at him, he knew she was pretty lit up as well. There was a vibe in the air and the festival was rocking. There were people all around enjoying themselves with drinks, drugs, and food all around them. However, Logan was more focused on this beautiful girl that was dancing with him than anything else. There was only one girl he had come all the way back from Paris to be, and that was her. It was as she kissed him that he realized he was in the right place. There was a sensation in her lips like the start of a rain storm in the desert. There was a need for it. After the kissing in the middle of the festival he whispers in her ear “so…. What do you want us to be” He really wanted to leave this place with clarity of what he and Paris are going to be well start to be.

Logan quite often puts his mind to his work. Was usually only thinking about what was best for his career and business, but Paris changed that ever since she came into the gym that day. He holds her hips realizing she will be the best kinda of distraction. “I love how you look when you enjoying yourself Paris, ” he smirk rubbing his head before he kissed her forehead. The music was still blasting “wanna get real lit… let’s live a-little”

Brittany Avidan
tumblr_p8stppNy4t1wiod3no1_640.gif

Burning Woman wasn't really something Britt would normally go to. Her idea of fun wasn't necessarily going to a music festival and be surrounded by people high off of god knows what. The ideal weekend for Bri was going to the beach and hanging out in the water or sitting on the shore reading a book. She could even be convinced to go to a party but a music festival wasn't really her style. Of course Britt would do almost anything for Aiden. Even if that means being around drunk and high party people. Luckily she was going to be with Aiden at the bakery stand so hopefully there wouldn't be too many crazy people. Before heading off to the festival Brittany decided to go to the beach and clean up some of the trash that the tourists left behind. Bri was born and raised on Rosemary Beach and she found it quite sad that tourists would go to the beach and leave their trash behind. The amount of wildlife that she found stuck in pieces of trash or eating garbage made Britts heart swell. She would save them all if she could. Unfortunately she was only one person and she could only do so much to help out. Still, she would go out to the beach once or twice a week and pick up trash for an hour or two.

As she walked the beach picking up wrappers and plastic Bri came across a plastic bag that skittered across the sand when she approached it. She gently lifted up the bag and inside was a poot little crab that had gotten the handle of the bag wrapped around him. The little guy seemed friendly enough so Bri carefully untangled the little friend and gently set him down, expecting him to skitter away from her. He did the opposite, though. The little crab followed her as she walked away, reaching for another piece of trash. It warmed Bri's heart and she decided to take him home. Very cautiously Britt picked up the little crab and carried him to her car. She put him in a box in her backseat and tied up the garbage bag she had been carrying before throwing it in her trunk. Bri drove to the pet store, bought the little crab a habitat large enough for him to have lots of fun and googled what crabs ate. Seaweed. Britt could easily get some of that for her new friend a good diving session would make quick work of that.

After setting up Ruperts habitat Bri sent a quick text to Aiden to let him know she was on her way. She didn't bother changing her outfit, figuring it would be good enough. It was summery enough to pass for a festival, she thought. Instead she just grabbed a pair of sunglasses and hopped into her car. Before driving to the festival she stopped at the dump and dropped off the trash bag that she had thrown into her trunk. The people who worked there knew her well and waved any fees for dropping off trash as they knew she was cleaning up the beach. Bri liked to think that Colin would be proud of the person she was today. Taking care of the environment and pushing herself forward. Despite the pain that hit her stomach every time she thought of him, Bri knew that if he was looking down at her that he would be proud of her for moving forward. Now she just had to get over her fears and actually try to find someone to move onto. In all honesty Britt wanted it to be Aiden. She had had a crush on him since they were in junior high and if it werent for her betrothal to Colin she probably would have tried to get over her nervousness and ask him out. After Colin, though, Brittany wasn't sure if Aiden would even look at her that way. He had seen her at her lowest. There was really no coming back from that.

Britt pulled into the festival grounds and sighed when she saw just how many people were there. Too many people for her liking that was for sure. She slid her sunglasses on her face and wandered into the venue, searching for Aidens booth. She had to walk around several groups of people before finally spotting him and the bakery booth. As soon as Britt saw Aiden her stomach filled with butterflies. How was it that despite what she had gone through she could still feel this way? Even though there was definitely a missing piece in her heart she could still feel it beating painfully in her chest as she suddenly felt anxious to see her friend. Bri took a deep breath and pushed herself to move forward. Aiden was just a friend and she knew better than to try and mess with their friendship.
"Hey you. Sorry I took so long to get here. I was cleaning up the beach and I found a little friend so I had to get him all set up. How's it been?" Bri set her bag down underneath the booth and put her hair up into a loose ponytail.

Sienna Haven
cara-delevingne.gif

Sienna knew she would regret this the moment Claire ordered a drink. Of course. She'd seen drunk Claire multiple times, and it always ended up in a fight, or Claire crying, or whatever other bad scenario that could come from a drunk family member. This is why Sienna hated drinking. From experience, alcohol made her moody and angry, and she always did or said something that she regretted. On the other hand, Claire had not figured out that part of life yet. Taking a drink from the water, she sat back in her seat and looked at the stage. She didn't know what to say to Claire. They'd grown apart and had nothing in common anymore. So, she enjoyed the music for a while, while she let herself think of what to say that wouldn't set her sister off.
Eventually, she thought of something and looked over to Claire, watching her drink the seltzer like it was the coldest water on the hottest day, "have you figured out what to do in this town yet?" She asked. She was genuinely curious. She had no clue what her sister was doing these days. Between spending most of her time at Cyrus' studio and setting up her and Oce's apartment, she needed more time to catch up with her siblings. However, she could do without paying any mind to Gabe. She just genuinely missed the connection she had with Claire.
Eventually, when Claire seemed relaxed enough, Sienna moved to sit beside her sister rather than across from her, "Hey, make sure to drink your water too." She pointed out the part of her protective self showing. She didn't care much, but she didn't want anything to happen to Claire that could get her in trouble with their dad. She did her best to avoid confrontation with the man, even if that meant hardly ever talking to Gabe or Claire. But she quickly pushed that protectiveness away in case it annoyed Claire.
"Cyrus' studio is cool as hell. He has new clients coming in all the time from all over. And I'm painting a mural in the space I'm renting from him, and he doesn't seem to mind it." She said and took out her phone, showing Claire a photo of the unfinished mural. If there was one thing that Sienna was proud of herself for, it was her art. She could always bring whatever was in her brain to live on any canvas, whether a wall, paper, or skin. She was a little scared to show her sister the work she's been up to for fear of judgment or little comments that would set off Sie's anger, but she wanted at least someone in her family to be proud of her for something. "Do you like it?" She asked with a slight smile on her lips.

Daniel Charter
8c787ec49986bf080b6030771b6c35b396a25fcd.gif

Daniel frowned some at Ava's questioning. If Owen were to press charges, there was nothing that his parents couldn't handle when it came to the money or legal side of things, especially when they find out why he punched Owen Manning. When she cupped his face, the man kissed her back. It eased his mind some, but he still didn't want to tell her where he stood on the wealth scale. He hated people knowing him for his parent's money. All they had helped him with in his life was the purchasing of his store. HE rebuilt it and HE ran it himself. All his income was his own, but of course, if anything were to happen his parents would help. But he didn't want to think of that right now.
Smiling when she pushed him to go get some ice, all Daniel could do was laugh and put the car in drive to head toward the grocery store. Once inside, he grabbed a bag of ice and threw it in the cooler in the back with their food for the weekend, only scooping some out to put in a bag and ice his hand while he drove out to the festival. Punching Owen in the face now proved to be difficult when it came to setting up their tent. He could hardly hold onto the poles, "fuck I really didn't think this through." He said with a small chuckle and guided Ava through helping him set it up before he moved on to blow up the air mattress.
Once everything was all set up and cozy, Daniel ran an extension chord from the campsite's power pole and into the tent to plug in the refrigerated cooler so that their food wouldn't die over the weekend. Eventually, he stepped out of the tent and went back to the car to grab his first aid kit, looking for a tensor bandage to wrap around his hand, "Well I'm ready for the music and drinking if you are." He turned to Ava with a smile and pulled her in, her arms snugly around the girl's waist.

Paris was enjoying herself, dancing to the music, and being close to Logan. At this moment, with him, nothing could go wrong. Her cheeks tinted red some as he pulled her close, his whisper sending shivers down her spine. What did she want them to be? The thought of him being with anyone else made her jealous and angry. She didn't want him to be anyone else's... Just hers. So again, she pressed her lips to his before pulling away, "I want to be yours, and I want you to be mine. No one else's." She said, gently running her thumb along his jawline. She hoped this time was confirmation enough that she was all his if he would have her.
Slipping her arms around his shoulder, she swayed with him while he suggested they get lit. She couldn't help but laugh. It was a music festival, and people were already drunk or high or drunk and high. "Well, you have a choice. We can drink more." She said, tipping her wine cooler back to take a huge sip. "Or, I have some stuff hidden away in the camper if you really wanna have fun." She said, tilting her head to the side. The girl didn't do drugs often, and when she did, it was the organic kind of either smoking w3ed or taking shrooms. Either way, she had both in the camper that she and Logan could indulge in if he wanted to.

Harlow Copeland

Harlow had been hyped about this music Festival all week. She’d never performed in one yet, as she was still considered a “rising star” but so far all she had seen was positive feedback on socials for her appearance. Plus from her engagement within the towns Twitter page, it seemed as though some of the locals were happy for her to be there too. Especially one particular blonde who Harlow thought was insanely cute.
The bus ride was long, and her makeup artist spent most of the day doing her makeup and touching up her hair. Harlow was already insanely tired but the excitement about her first festival kept her going throughout the day until eventually the tour bus pulled up to the vip area for the performers. Hopping out, she was instantly offered refreshments and food before her show, but she would eat afterwards. She needed her voice to be perfect. But she did take up on the water bottles. It was already blistering hot with hardly no shade. How someone could do these things on a regular basis was beyond her.
It didn’t take too long for her stage crew to set up her set and she was off, singing her heart out to her most popular songs. It seemed like people were enjoying her presence and that made her perform extra good. By the time her set came to an end, the sun was going down and he was beginning to cool off. Taking out her phone, she sent a quick message to the blonde Bella to meet at the vip area (where potential fans wouldn’t bombard her), and began to make her way there. She needed a drink.
When the refreshment was acquired, Harlow found some seating near two blonde who looked to be sisters and sipped at her seltzer while she waited for a response from Bella. She wasn’t even sure if the girl would meet with her, it definitely was a stretch, but nevertheless she was just enjoying her time while music played from the stage, another artist performing much like she did. The place, she could tell, was definitely a vibe though she wasn’t sure if she would go as hard as some of the other people in attendance.

    Cain Evans

Cain was tired. He's been working like crazy, with Em having a child on the way. He needed to step up and provide for his future child. Emily was saying that she would be able to help but if he was going to take the claim as the birth father of Emily's child, he was going to make sure that he was backing up the claim. He was going to make sure that child had everything that they could ever want but that meant pulling doubles and saving up a mass amount of money. He wanted to show everyone that he could take care of his child without the help of Emily or her family. He wasn't going to be another Owen.

He was supposed to work another double today, but his girlfriend texted him. Wanting him beside her, he couldn't deny her request. He let his boss know that he had to go home after this shift due to his pregnant girlfriend wanting him home right now. Luckily he was just an extra person on the shift, not really needed for the day. So his boss didn't have any complaints for him to go. He quickly finished up his things to be able to leave.

He went to his apartment and quickly changed into just sweatpants and a shirt before grabbing some things to make soup, and dinner. Cain also brought a bag, just in case he stays for a couple of days. He then drove off to Emily's apartment, smiling because he couldn't wait to see her. Once he gets there, he jumps out, grabbing his supplies. He grabbed the key that Emily gave him and walked in. "Baby, I'm here. " He said as he places the supplies down and headed to her room. Seeing her curled in a ball on the bed, he sighed as he crawled into the bed with her wrapping his arms around her.

"Is the little nugget messing you baby?" He mumbles as he kisses the top of her head. "I can make you some soup to help with that?"

    Michonne Johannes

Mic was packing for a trip. The burning woman, she wasn't planning on going of course. It wasn't something that people invited her out for. It wasn't something that she found interesting but then, he invited her out for it. And she couldn't say no, something about Moses King, she could never say no to. Maybe it was those eyes, that seemed warm and kind. It was the way he talked to her like he knew exactly what she wanted from him. Like he knew all the secrets that she kept hidden from others. It was strange, how exposed she felt to him. After the carnival, she started to hang around his shop. When he's there, they talk about everything and nothing. Having arguments over who's right or wrong. It brought something to her, a feeling that she never can identify. She was scared but she was willing to explore it.

She was scared of her past, being way too much for him to handle. She knew that he noticed the way she shied away from physical touch or people. Mic knew the way she closed up and brought questions in his mind, but she was thankful that he never asked and just went with the flow. Like how they were handling their flirtatious friendship, they both knew that they were something there but neither of them was ready to take that step. That jump from friends to more. To knowledge that something was there, was scary and seemingly impossible to do but they both didn't want to stop. The feelings that they brought each other, they didn't want them to stop. So they kept the flirting game, and hey she did like their game.

So when she didn't see him for the last couple of days, she got worried and texted him. And now they were going to the burning woman together. She quickly texted him to tell Moses that she was ready and there was her address. She waits for him on the steps of her apartment building dressed and ready for some fun.

Mic was excited to see Moses and spend the next couple of days with him.

    Carter Kingston

Carter loved every day of his life. His son, his whole family, and especially his wife were the light in his life. He knew when he and Nollie took their vows, that his life was only getting better and better. And now he knew, he and Damien has been switching from Lia's to his Mom's every week. He and Lia had been looking at houses and they had finally found one that worked for them but it took some time to close the deal so they've been jumping back and forth, to spend time with everyone and their own little family. Now he was the on the way to pick up his little man from school. He was worried about school, just because Damien is deaf, and there were no deaf schools nearby so he had no choice but to have him go to school with hearing kids as well.

He was worried that kids wouldn't understand him, but as the year went on, his son made so many friends. With his best friend, by his side, he was one of the popular kids in school and he couldn't be more proud of him. Carter now had to pull him from others after school, whereas before he was worried that he would be alone. Carter pulled into the school, nodding to the others as he parked the car, and got out of it. Watching Damien smile and laugh with the others, made his heart jump for joy. He waved his hand to catch his attention and his son grinned largely as he ran to him. Carter just laughed and picked him up once he got close to him. "Hey baby boy, we are going to Mommy's for the weekend! He just saw Damien's excited face, and he knew that he said the right there.

Carter put him in the car set, and made sure he was secured before closing the door and getting into the driver seat, and driving off. He had already packed his and Damien's clothes while he was texting Lia. Damien already had toys and things to do over there from the many sleepovers that they had. Once he had reached his wife's apartment, he was too excited for words and so was Damien who was jumping up and down in his seat at the sight of his mother's apartment. He doesn't care what anyone said, his son was her son. She loved him like she birthed him and that was all that mattered to Carter. He wanted someone to love Damien as their own, and Lia did more than that. She claims him with anyone, in the store, with her friends, and with the town. She doesn't care who knows. She was there and proud to call this tiny man her own.

Carter couldn't ask for more than that in a wife.

She was his wife, and he couldn't wait to spend his entire life with her. Lia was definitely forever for him, she was the perfect piece for him. His best friend, and just his entire world. Carter and his son once out of the car, go into the building and climbs the steps up to her apartment door. They both look at each other grinning and back as they knocked on the door at the same time. Even if Carter had a key to her place, he wanted to see her open that door and see that her boys were home.

    Her boys forever and always.

Maddox hated the fact that Owen was in the apartment with Scarlett right now. She trusted Scarlett with her life, but she didn't trust Owen. Not at all. Scar might be feeling like a buddy, buddy with the literal king of shit but not Maddox. That's why she gave Scarlett clear rules, and why she hated the fact that she was planning up hooking up with him. She knew that she literally signing her soul with the devil, but she needed relief, and just because she couldn't feel pain doesn't mean she couldn't feel pleasure. She had to take in the things that she could feel, and not the ones she couldn't. She was weak, and Owen just knew how to scratch that weakness of hers. She made it clear to him, this was only fucking and nothing else. After their business was done, they had no attachments to each other. And he needed to leave right away.

Maddox couldn't let Scarlett know, because she didn't want to see that face. The disappointed face. She had only gotten it a few times from her, but every time it hurt, and it killed her to gain such a face from her best friend..her person. That's why with her fucking hate of physical touch, she had a cuddle session with Scarlett. She let her past her boundaries that she had kept so hard to keep up. Scarlett could just read her perfectly, and that's why she couldn't let her down. She couldn't let anyone hurt her, because that woman made her feelings come out in ways that Maddox couldn't believe. She was her heart in the perfect sense. And she needed to protect her.

But she needed to also trust her to do some things even if she hated it. Maddox kissed Scarlett on top of her head as she left the apartment, and left her to her own choices but not before she let her repeat the rules that Maddox told her to keep in mind years ago when they grew aware of the impact that Scarlett had on Maddox and vice versa. Rule Number One, is to tell Maddox if anyone messes with her, she will handle it. And handle it, Maddox was going to do. She was dying to use those new knives that her father gave her for Christmas. Once she got on her motorcycle, she drove off heading to Heather's.

Maddox will just come to Heather's unannounced and chill there. It happened so much that Heather doesn't even ask how did she get in the house again.

Honestly, Maddox just picks the lock. It was fun, even if she also had a key.

She drives into Heather's driveway, waving to the staff. Getting into the house the usual way and sitting on the couch and texting Heather that she was downstairs and they needed to do something fun today. Maybe with Gen as well.

    Emerson Morgan

Emerson was tired. She could hear her doctor yelling at her already for skipping the dose of the new medication to help control her condition. It wasn't her fault, well it was, but only because she had trusted her sister to remember to grab it from the pharmacy. It wasn't like she could tell her she was working at a strip club as a dancer could she? Her sister would only judge her and hate her for doing this but it was the best way to bring cash to the house. And it wasn't like she didn't have any dance background. She used to be a part of the dance team when she was in high school and still dances to this day. Although now in skimpy outfits and for the men's entertainment it was a job of which she couldn't help but need. She shook her head as she tested her blood, and saw the high numbers. She sighed as she searched through her bag for her insulin, once she had found it, taking the appropriate dose.

She then got out of the car and headed to work. Nodding to the ladies that were there already, she went to go change into her outfit. Emerson had yet to come out with a name, so they just called her E, for the customers around them to know. They didn't like for you to use your actual name, so she went by E. Once she had changed, she went to work. Coming out for her dance times, and losing a bit of clothing throughout the routine. The men threw money at her, and she just smirked and winked softly. She knew how to use her charms to get what she needed. It's how she took care of Ava all those years, no one expects the innocent girl to be the bad girl. But she needed to be bad because she needed to raise a kid without any help from their parents.

It was her second dance when one of her coworkers came up to her. Telling her her usual as of late was here, and wanted her private dance as usual. Emerson nodded as she goes to get ready for the woman. This woman had been coming in nearly almost every day and booked a private dance with Emerson. She doesn't say anything, just watches her dance and then pays her greatly in tips. It's the reason why she would be able to get Ava a car soon, so she wouldn't have to walk everywhere. Especially when Emerson had the old car. It all thanks to the mysterious lady...who was insanely beautiful as well. She couldn't help noticing the way she moved and her beautiful eyes every time their eyes met. All she wanted to know is her name..but the girls warned her about the guests there. They may promise you the world, but they probably have someone waiting for them at home. And Emerson couldn't afford to mess around, not with her sister leaning on her.

She goes into the VIP private rooms area until she reached the right one. She breathed in softy and walked in with that smile that would men crawl on their names for her. She winks and gets ready to dance. "Same today as well, ma'am?" She asked softly to her as she goes to the music and smiles at her.

No room for attachments. She repeats in her mind over and over again.

    "Maybe...maybe you are different.."

    Not Meat Not Meat (scarlett).

Owen couldn't help but let out a scoff at Scarlett's statements about their clothes not matching. The last thing that he wanted to do was ever match with anyone - the whole point of wearing clothes was to stand out from the rest, not blend in. He wanted people to look at him and think "wow, this guy's cool." And the only way that Owen could possibly do that was if he wore his own outfit. He was his own man, after all. What would that say about him if he started playing by someone else's rules? Who did Scar think he was, a blind follower? No, Owen Manning was a bonafide leader, through and through. Anyone who said otherwise was lying. He wasn't going to match with Scar, and he never was. Nothing could change his mind about that. "Tenting? I wouldn't be caught dead in a tent. Nah, I'm just going for the day. I want to sleep in my own bed, in my own house, thank you very much."

He scrunched his nose up at the sensation of the brush bristles sweeping against his skin. The makeup that she was putting on him had a weird smell too - how did girls wear this shit every day? Owen was glad that he was born a male, because girly makeup was horrible. "What the hell are you putting on me? Am I going to look like one of those drag queens? Because if so, I'm out of here." Does it surprise anyone at all that Owen is absolutely, one hundred percent, without a doubt, horrible? And the sad part is, he really thinks he's doing something here. Anyway, back to the scene at hand. He peered into the mirror that Scar was currently using to do her own makeup in, making sure that he wasn't going to be mistaken for one of them "pretty boys." Owen was a male. A man. A he. He didn't get into all of that mentally ill stuff.

After Scar had finished getting herself dolled up, she had the audacity to ask him if he needed anything before they left. "Please. As if I'm going to use your stinky hairspray. I have everything I need in the trunk of my car." He had only brought a gallon of water and a box of condoms - he had his own priorities. He knew that it would get hot, and if he was to be doing drugs, he'd probably get cotton mouth. The condoms, of course, were for personal use. "You can follow me out to the festival. Unless you want to put your stuff in my trunk. I don't care either way, but I'm not riding passenger."

    Carter Kingston

Carter grinned as Lia opened the door. Damon jumped into his mother's arms. "Mama! Did you hear? We are spending the whole weekend at your house Mama!" He signed to her as he comes into the apartment. Damon eyes were bright as he talked to his mother, anyone who had eyes, could see how much that little boy adored his mother. He would do anything she asked, yes there were temper tantrums and angry screams but it never last with her. Damon loved his mother more than anyone in the world. Maybe not his daddy, but still, his mother was pretty important to him. What can he say, he was just like his father.

Magnolia Kingston, just had a way of bringing the Kingston boys to their knees for her.

Carter kisses her back softly. "Yes of course baby." He told her as he walked into the apartment. He grabbed Damon's backpack off from the little boy's back, and started to look through it for his homework for the weekend. Damon waited by him, as he knew that homework was done first, then he could play or help Lia in the kitchen. Once he had found the paper, he pick him up placing him at the dining table. "Let Mama or Daddy know if you need help baby boy." He signed to him as he placed the simple coloring sheet with letters on it in front of him. Damon was pretty smart for kids his age, so this homework shouldn't be too hard for him. Carter walked back to Lia, wrapping his arms around her.

"I don't mind taking the soup to Elosie. I know the way plus she comes by the shop cause of Ryan and Isa so I know her." He said as he spoke of his new employee. Ryan has been doing well working in the shop, and like always Carter didn't find a reason to combat Isa's reasoning for hiring him. He trusted Isa with her choices in employees and barely had any complaints about the way her team is run. He counted on her team more than any other team in the shop, for the simple fact, he knew that they knew how to handle their shit with the cars. He couldn't ask for anything more. He kisses the top of her head as he smells the yummy soup that she was making. "But there are going to be leftovers right? Cause babe, you know your chicken soup recipe is one of my favorites!" He said excitedly

"Please tell me you made enough for just a bowl...maybe three?"

Emily hated how this pregnancy was going so far. While she was more than excited for the end, where she could hold the little bean, the constant vomiting and fever had her exhausted. And Owen's reaction is exactly how she knew he would react, which was why she wasn't going to tell him in the first place. She knew he would not be in the baby's life now that she knew he didn't want it. She wasn't going to let an absent parent bring the child down. The baby would feel nothing but love from her, Cain, and everyone who claimed aunt or uncle.
Her parents reacted surprisingly well to the news. Her mom was already sending over Amazon packages of baby gifts and clothes, though Emily wasn't even sure she still wanted to live in this apartment. It was small, had a balcony, nothing suitable for a child. She knew that when this sickness was done, she would move in somewhere bigger with a yard, a fence, and multiple rooms. Emily wanted this baby to have everything she had but with even more love.
Being as sick as she was, Emily had grown more needy. She wanted her friends back despite her relationship with Owen being what pushed them away. She wasn't with Owen anymore, so she sent them all messages. So far, it all seemed to be going well and she has even blocked Owen. The small steps she was taking made her proud of herself. She felt like she was maturing, and it was for the better.
When her makeup with all her friends was resolved, Emily stood and went to the bathroom. It had only been an hour since she last got sick, but she wanted to get a shower in before Cain got home. The thought of him coming to her made her smile. It had always been her chasing after the one she loved, not the other way around. The shower was quick, and she slipped into some comfy clothes, one being Cain's sweater, lit a floral candle, and crawled back into her bed. The movement already made her dizzy, so she closed her eyes and fell back asleep.
She didn't know what time it was when the front door opening and closing awoke her, but she knew it was either Cain or Nollie, so she stretched out her arms and rubbed her eyes, refusing to open them to the sunlight until Cain slipped into the bed with her and wrapped his arms around her. A small smile touched her lips as she turned and cuddled into his chest. At the offer of soup, she tilted her head up to look at him, "Nollie messaged me, we made up... She's bringing some but I can share if you're hungry." She said, her voice raw from being ill so often, "I just wanna stay here until she gets here." She said, cuddling back in.
Despite everything that Emily went through to get here, all the girl felt was bliss when she was in Cain's arms, "I was thinking." She mumbled, "When I'm not so sick, I wanna look at better places. Something with a yard." She said, hugging her arms around his waist. She wasn't sure if he would want to move in, but since she discovered the pregnancy, the man had spent most of his time at her place. His stuff was even there; clothes in the drawers (though when she did laundry, she just put them there), shampoo in the shower, toothbrush on the counter. She wanted nothing more than for him to always be with her, but that was honestly up to him to decide.

Cain shook his head softly as he ran his fingers through her hair. "I'm not that hungry baby." He told her as he brought her closer to him. Something about Emily Charter, he couldn't get enough. He was falling in love with her and their little nugget as well. The way she looked at him, was all that he needed to know that he was doing something right. Just to see her smile, was all that he needed from her. He looked down at her and smile softly at her.

"I'm proud of you, for reaching out to your friends. I know with Owen, and everything, it was hard to do. " He told her softly. Cain knew that she needed the people who actually cared about her, by her side through this journey. So even if she hadn't reached out to them, he would have. He wanted her to be happy, even if she was mad at him. He knew that she needed Nollie and the people that love her surrounding her. " And whatever my queen wants, she gets. We can stay here and cuddle until she comes with the soup. "

"Hm?" He hums as she starts to talk about looking for better places, something with a yard. He feels her tighten her arms around him, and he had the feeling that this wasn't just about moving apartments or places. She was asking if he wanted to look for places..like together. Honestly, he barely had anything at his apartment anymore. After finding out that she was pregnant, he devoted his time over here, so he could help with the daily chores and make sure she was ok. He doesn't even see that apartment as home anymore. This was home.

With her in his arms, this was home.

"We can do that baby, but the only thing I have to say, is that I at least help out with the bills yea?" He asked. Knowing full well, that Emily was going to buy the house she wanted, he at least wanted to help with the lights, internet, and things like that. "I mean if I'm going to be living there, I should contribute some." He told her softly. Telling her little words, that wherever she goes. He will follow. Maybe it was fast but honestly, he didn't care.

The only thing he cared about was her.

Emily pressed a kiss to his cheek when he said he wasn't hungry, "Well, you gotta eat at some point while you're here." She said and cuddled back in, listening to him tell her that he was proud of her and all of that. She felt the butterflies in her stomach as he spoke in such a sweet way with her. The last time she heard words like these and thought the person meant it, was when Owen came to her apartment and promised to be better for her. Of course, those were lies, from Cain though, she knew he meant every word.
Breaking up with Owen Manning had probably been the best thing that Emily could've done because although Owen didn't know it, he was pushing Emily away and right into Cain's arms. The only guy that she had ever been able to call a friend and have a small little high school-like crush on. And now he was in her bed with her in his arms. Even though the baby was Owen's, she wished on every bone in her body that Cain was because she knew she deserved someone who treated her the way Cain does from the beginning.
When Cain picked up on her hint about him living with her, a rose color tinted her cheeks, "I just like the idea of you being there with me all the time, not even just for the baby, but I know now I don't wanna go anywhere without you." She said, studying his face. Sure, she always dreamed of the all-American white picket fence type of thing, but since that night that Cain first slept over she hadn't had a nightmare or panic attack. He brought her every bit of comfort. Especially with everything she was going through.
"I want us to explore this thing together and the idea of you being across town and out of my reach makes my heart hurt. I spent so long pining for Owen that I couldn't see that the man of my dreams was right in front of me the whole time, calling himself my 'best guy friend'. I was stupid to be so blinded by that lughead." She said with a frown, the hormones threatening tears in her eyes. She cried at every little thing now. "The bills though, are up for debate." She said and sat up with a small laugh, wiping away at the few tears that had escaped in her little rant for Cain, "We can figure that all out later though."

Cain nods softly as he feels her kiss his cheek. "I will baby, don't worry. It just was a long day at work." He tells her as he wrapped his arms around her. He wanted to make sure she was ok, before he was. Cain felt like Emily never saw that she mattered to others. She did everything for everyone but no one aside from the people who truly matter did anything for her. That is why he wants to show her, that she mattered and that what she did was good.

Cain wanted to take care of her. He wanted to show her that not all guys were like Owen Manning and just wanted to take advantage of her. That he wanted to be there for her, and this baby. Even if this child wasn't biologically his, he already loved it like it was. And it didn't matter to him that the baby wasn't. In his eyes, he was going to be the father to this child, and make sure that they know that they were loved and cared for. Because he surely loved their mother so damn much.

"I like being there for you all the time." He tells her softly. "I love the idea of being there with you all the time. Not just for the baby. " He tells her as he cups her face. Cain searches her face to make sure that she knew "I can't be anywhere without you anymore, not when I finally know what it's like to be with you. So if that's something you want to do as well, then let's do it Em."

He wiped her tears as she ranted for him. Cain moves so she would be between his legs and his arms could wrap around her. He sighed "I am your best guy friend. " He said trying to make her laugh. "But...I am glad you finally saw me as someone to be your person. Someone for you to lean on. And please do not call the girl I really fucking care about stupid. I think she's pretty amazing." He told her softly as he kisses the side of her head. "And it makes my heart hurts too, so yea I'll come with you, but we are going to have a talk about the bills. I'm just as much a part of this baby's life too, I want to provide for them as well as you." He told her softly

He wanted to be the man that they could count on. Cain wanted to be the man that she could count on always.

Emily leaned her back against Cain's chest as he assured her she wasn't stupid. But she was. She was stupid for following Owen around for as long as she did. She fawned over this man who would never give a single shit about her. She didn't listen to her friends, her family, and no one when it came to Owen. She was stupid. But she wouldn't say that to Cain anymore because he was just as stubborn as she was, and this would go around in a circle. She was too tired for that.
She also would wait to bring up the bills. She was fortunate enough to have the family she did, who were rich enough to care for their kids, and her job for her job to pay as well as it did. Emily was set for life, though she didn't like to brag about that. She used her money to her advantage but never rubbed it in other people's faces. Turning around, she crawled into his lap and wrapped her legs around his waist to rest her cheek on his shoulder, "it's gonna be a nice house. Cliché with the white fence and all. And I want a puppy so that the baby can have a best friend." She said with a small laugh.
Sitting up straight again, she plucked his glasses off his face and pushed her hair back, placing them on top of her head, "I hope Nollie gets here with the food soon. I'm starving." She said, pouting out her bottom lip. Who knew if she would be able to keep the food down, but for now she felt fine enough at the moment. Slipping her arms around his shoulder, she leaned in and lightly pressed her lips to his. That was the type of person that Emily was though, she craved and loved touch; even if it was just a simple kiss on the cheek or hair stroke. That's probably why she wanted Cain around so much. If it were her choice, he wouldn't be working at all.
Finally, she pulled away and smiled at him, "can we watch a movie?" She asked, reaching over to the nightstand, and even though she said movie she began to scroll down to vampire diaries. It was her favorite show. "Sorry, not a movie." She said with another laugh and turned back around to snuggle back between his legs, pulling the blanket up to her chin.

Cain just smiles softly at her nodding "It has to be a golden retriever because those dogs are the best. Or a yellow or brown lab. Only the best for the baby." He adds as he listens to her list off the things for the home they were going to make together. "Also I love cliche, it's the best way for it to be perfect." He said softly to her. He pouts as she takes his glasses off his head, and smiles as she placed his glasses on top of her head.

"I'm sure she's coming but you gotta remember she is kind of a newlywed." He said grinning "Carter was so fucking excited when he found her ring, he texted all the guys saying he found it. " He commented as he kept his arms around Emily. He glanced at her as she move her arms to his shoulders and leaned in for a kiss. Of course, with no resistance from him, he kisses her back softly. He didn't mind the constant touching, he actually wanted it. It was the way she made him feel loved. It was something that he needed from her.

Once they pulled away, she asked him if they could watch a movie. "Of course baby, whatever you want." He told her as he gets adjusted to lay comfortably, as she was still between his legs. Knowing that she was going to choose her favorite show and not a movie. It didn't surprise him when he saw that vampire's diaries emblem pop up on the screen. He simply just shook his head and started to play with her hair while watching the episode as she settles in between his legs.

    This was home for him..

Nollie's smile stayed firmly put on her lips as Damon began signing wildly and enthusiastically to her. He had such a vivid imagination, no thanks to his father. It made her feel as if she were a child herself the way he went on and on. "Yes, baby, we're all going to be together this weekend!" Her fingers moved just as fast as her son's. Her heart swelled with pride as she watched him. If only the house would be ready for them right now. Damon would surely be walking on sunshine when he would first walk through the front door. She couldn't wait. Nollie's eyes followed Carter and Damon as they got situated at the small dining table with the child's homework. She closed the apartment door, moving across the living room over to the kitchen, where she began to stir the soup in the pot once more. She then took a teaspoon out from her utensils drawer, taking a small sip of the broth. It was delicious. She cut the fire off to the burner, setting the pot aside on a cool burner with an oven mitt and a towel - no need to burn her hands if she didn't have to.

And then Carter's arms were wrapped around her. She sunk back against him, a small sigh of relief escaping her lips. If she could spend her entire life wrapped up in his arms, then she would in a heartbeat. "Thank you for doing this for me. I really don't want to have to drive if I don't have to - it's such a beautiful day outside, I want to appreciate it in all its glory." Plus, it would give Damon the fresh air he needed for a boy his age. Emily didn't live far - only three blocks, so it was an easy walk over and back. But Eloise lived on the other side of town, and it wouldn't be as easy to make the journey on foot. But there are going to be leftovers, right? Nollie couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle. "Of course there's going to be leftovers, my dear. I wouldn't just be making soup for the sick ones, now, would I?" She whirled around to face her husband, wrapping her arms around his neck. "There'll be plenty of soup let over." Nollie kissed his cheek before letting go of him, bending down to grab a couple of Tupperware containers and lids from a cabinet below. She then took the ladle she had been working with and scooped some soup out for the containers, closing the lid to them gently.

"This one's for Eloise." Nollie handed one of the containers of soup to Carter. "Tell her to drink lots of water too, and to rest up. We want her getting better as soon as possible." She truly cared about the girl, even if she wasn't that close to her. "I'll make sure Damon finishes his homework before we head out to Em's. Her morning sickness is throwing her for a loop, poor thing." She hoped that the rest of Emily's pregnancy would go smooth, for her sake. At least if Nollie couldn't be there all the time for her, Cain sure would be. He truly had been a surprise to Nollie, filling the role of the father when the actual father wanted nothing to do with her and their unborn child. "And then, once we're all back, we can have soup for supper. And," Nollie lowered her voice so that even if Damon could hear, he wouldn't be able to overhear, "I baked apple pie for dessert." It would be the perfect meal for the perfect family, at least in Nollie's eyes.

Well, Rush had really did it this time. He had really gone and blocked her after she had blocked him. Nobody blocked Victoria Sinclair back and gotten away with it, that was for sure. And then, while she had her driver speed off to his dingy little trailer house, some random bitch with a boy's name - Haiden, was it? - had the audacity to DM her saying that Rush was just "misunderstood". As if he really was just a misunderstood little boy, crying and pouting in the corner. Tori was going to get to the bottom of this once and for all. Was this Haiden girl telling the truth about his so-called estranged wife and dead kid? Or was she just jealous and wanted Tori to get the hell away from him so that he could be all hers? Well, one thing was for certain - Tori wasn't going to stand for this. She was going to confront Rush, or she was going to die trying.

Tori turned up her nose as the town started getting a little grungier. She had her driver lock the doors to her sleek black BMW, just in case a plebeian had any bright ideas in store. It wouldn't surprise her one bit - who wouldn't want to be fabulously wealthy like her? These peasants would do anything to be graced with her presence. They'd beg, borrow, and steal just to catch her eye. Who knows what a crazed person might try to do to her? This part of town wasn't exactly what she wanted to be associated with, but Rush made his home here, and she had to find out just what was truth and what was made up. Tori rarely took no for an answer, and she wasn't about to begin today. Rush Finley was the most aggravating man she had ever come to know, but yet, she couldn't help but want more.

Her driver finally turned into the gravel driveway, putting the car in park before walking around to let Tori out of the back seat. "Thank you, Harold. I shall not be long." Her posh English accent rang out as she let go of the middle-aged man's hand, giving him a curt nod before he walked back around the car and got into the driver's seat once more. Tori let out the breath that she didn't realize that she had been holding as she stalked over to the front door. She couldn't possibly be nervous now, could she? Absolutely not. Tori began pounding on the door in a fit of rage. "Let me in, you bastard. We need to talk." And it wasn't a suggestion - it was a demand. Now, would Rush come to the door? That was the question at hand.

It felt amazing to finally let her hair down. It had been slicked back, pulled tight against her scalp, for what felt like ages. It was a huge relief to finally let her blonde hair fall down to her shoulders and let her scalp breath. The meeting ran longer than she had expected, these things usually did but she got the sense that they were talking about more than just law. Nevertheless, her feet ached. She couldn’t wait to pull off her stilettos and take a hot shower once they were back in the hotel room.

The cosmo really hit the spot and the company was great as well. No matter what, she always seem to have a good time with Mr. Haven even so, he still made her incredibly nervous especially, when she couldn’t stop remembering how his drunken hands felt pulling her hips towards his or how sweet he tasted even if his breath reeked of tequila.

Amelia slid her shoes off and left them on the floor beside her barstool. It was sweet relief to stretch out her toes.

“You were nervous back there, weren't you? And don't try to deny it, either - I saw the way you were tapping your pen against your notepad." She’d always hated how she couldn’t hide her emotions from Mr. Haven. He always knew how to read her like a book. The blonde sheepishly looked away toward a random patron at the bar. He shot her a flirty smile making her grimace and awkwardly smile back before returning to look over at Gabriel.

“I am always nervous. I cannot help it.” She confessed, chugging the rest of her cosmo. She looked towards the bartender to order another.

“I don’t know how you do that and manage to looks so professional under pressure.” Amelia brought her elbows up to rest on the bar. She placed her one cheek on her palm and sighed. She was exhausted from the days activities but she tried hard not to let it show. It was getting increasingly harder to ignore the fact that all she wanted was his hands on her body. She tried so hard to push away these thoughts of her boss but ever since that night at the restaurant, it was all she could really think about.

Amelia psychically shook her head, letting her blonde hair fall in front of her face as she look down at her bare toes. Silently, she slipped her shoes back on, in fear that someone would noticed she didn’t have any on. The sound of a glass thumping softly brought her attention back to the situation at hand.

“Thank you.” She gave the bartender a soft smile, before picking up with the glass and taking a long sip from it. Eventually she forced herself to look at her boss. He looked extremely handsome tonight and she felt her cheeks flame up at the mere thought of what happened at the bar. She couldn’t help but wonder if he was thinking about her too, but that was just wishful thinking in her part.

“I missed you too, angel. I couldn't stop thinking about you after our date." The brunette was practically bouncing on the balls of her feet, hanging on his every word. Even though they had kept in contact everyday since their first date, it just wasn’t the same as seeing him in person- being about to touch him and smell his aftershave. Nothing compared to how Isaiah made Summer feel. She wanted to keep this feeling forever and ever.

“I couldn't wait to see you either. I would have picked up some flowers, but the shop was closed today. Sorry." She watched his cheeks flush with color and she waved her hand dismissively.

“That’s okay! All that matters is that you’re here now.” She smiled at him, “Also, I kind of figured because Nollie closed the shop today.” Summer shrugged her shoulders and begin blushing when Isaiah complemented her. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn’t stop being bashful around him. He almost always knew what to say to make her feel good. Summer let Isaiah led her to his SUV smiling and thanking him when he opened the door for her.

This time, she wasn’t as nervous while she clicked the seatbelt over her chest- She was excited. She’d been waiting for this day for weeks now and she couldn’t believe Isaiah had actually agreed on getting a kitten with her. They were going to be pet parents and Summer was over the moon about it. But, she really hoped that he was just as excited for this new adventure, especially since they were doing it together. There really wasn’t anybody else that Summer wanted to take this responsibility with.

"I don't know if the pet shop's going to have the right breed, but I'm sure we can find some pet for us to share." Summer turned to look over at him, “That’s okay! I’ve done quite a bit of research on hypoallergenic breeds. I also called a head and asked if they had any hypoallergenic kittens available.” Summer pulled out her phone and started showing Isaiah the extensive research she had written in her notes app.

“We can keep him/her at my house because there’s no way you can get rid of dander completely but..” she trailed off, a little nervous to say the next part, “If we ever live together, I’d take care of the sweeping and the cleaning so you don’t get sick.” Should she have said that? Was that an okay thing to say? She couldn’t take it back now, she had put it out there but that didn’t stop her from trying to scramble to change the subject.

“The pet store said that they had a couple of Blue Russians left, but we can always look and see if they have something else!”

Killing someone's vibe should be a fucking crime
Nico was beaming as the beautiful blonde hopped into the VW, bags in tow. "Heeeey! Calla Lilly!" He called out as she hastily tossed her bags in the back before joining him up front, leaning in to kiss him.

The vagrant had actually tidied up for the occasion in order to make the place a little nicer, a tad more hospitable for Calla to stay in. Or at least attempted to, merely managing to organize the clutter a bit. He laughed as Calla gently attacked him with kisses, capturing her in a hug so he could do the same to her face and neck. "You ready??"

"Got everything?" He glanced around the van before flashing a playful grin at Calla, clearly just as amped for the weekend as she was. Once he got the green light from her, Nico turned to face forward with a nod. "Fuck yeah!" His words punctuated by a fist pump in the air before putting the van in reverse. "Aight, lessgo!" He hooted gleefully as the pair pulled away from Calla's cottage, heading for the festival.

Upon reaching their destination, it didn't take long for them to get the van situated in a spot on the campgrounds. As Nico hopped out clutching a cold bottle of water, he found Calla touching up her appearance in the side mirror. A sly smile creeping over his face as she turned to amble toward him, asking what was next on the agenda.

"Well, beautiful," He remarked, grabbing her by the hip to pull her close and slip his arms around her. "This." Nico answered simply, fishing a baggie full of tablets from his pocket; the purest MDMA he could get his hands on. He wanted to minimize any chance of harming Calla with questionable drugs, first and foremost. Plus, he'd be selling these to folks at the festival too. Nico would much prefer satisfied customers over people hassling him all weekend for dealing them some bad shit.

He pressed a quick kiss to her forehead before dumping a couple of pills into his palm. "Whatta ya say? It feels really good," Nico declared with a mischievous grin, holding one of the tablets out to her with the bottle of water. "Hmm? It'll be fuuun," He added in a sing-song voice, and with his free hand popped the other pill into his own mouth.
