Gundam Watcher 27 The Ajax has been developed to be a all weather and aerospace fighter. If you take a look at the pictures of the Ajax in the Lore section, along with the description of the mecha, you will see details of all three modes.

I have been holding off on an IC post to see if you would like to have Ryuko make a response to Marlon's creative punishment. Do you have anything you wish to add before I move forward?

Dpending in much you are wanting to skip time Psychie , I would like to type up the counsel that Marlon would give.


I know Gundam Watcher 27 doesnt really have interest in playing it out. But I would like to at least give him the idea of what Marlon would have talked to him I'm depth about.

Purr , hope that explanation makes enough sense for what we're trying to accomplish. It'd be like swapping a lens on a camera.

In terms of game balance, the implications also sound about right as well. That's still for Psychie to judge though.

Not to be a pedant, Alan's suggestion was a laser not an ion weapon. Changing lenses wouldn't impact charged particles (ions) but it would light (lasers).

I'll probably skip my bit of the lengthy counseling post. I cant seem to get into the headspace for it, since it's not something that would be much acknowledged or followed.

Marlon would have had a friendly and civil conversation with Ryuko about teamwork, the advantage of working together and using ranged weapons, and that using physical attacks is only a detriment.


He'd talk to her about getting along with others, getting to know them, and fitting in.

And would also explain to her the importance of discipline in the squad. That each member has to be trusted, because they all rely on each other. And that Marlon WANTS her to be part of that. To be someone that they can count on.

Would explain that they are in a difficult position where heavy eyes are on Duenan, and that everything that we do reflects on her, and could have dire consequences for the squad.


Would go over strategy and tactics, the tanks cant move as fast as the copters, so when she charges in, it leaves her completely open. We cant support or defend her. And that if she falls, everyone is at risk because they could leave her behind. And the mission itself is endangered. Missions that many many lives rely on. And that when she doesnt think about her movements, she haphazardly enters the zone of friendly fire. Ranged weapons are her greatest weapons.

Glory. Kills. Action. None of that matters when the fate of the world rests on the shoulders of every soldier here.

Also, she will not be getting out of carrying Missy around, or shadowing Marlon (who would be making her do a bunch of boot camp style punishments to enforce discipline)

And he would see that her new call sign "Blue Falcon" is on her Ajax.( Psychie )
