Nawp. I'm trying to get back in the groove of activity. I'm pretty bad about getting sidetracked. I often have 5 tabs open at once, each with a different post half-finished. Then I've got Discord open and constantly swapping between them all.

I hope to post later on today or tomorrow. Life has been busy to say the least.

I'll hopefully catch up with posts tomorrow as well - didn't quite find the right mindset to create something decent this week-end, sometimes the words just don't seem to flow naturally.

No worries, my friends. I'll be off line for the next few hours coming up soon for some family time as we go out to dinner, and tomorrow night I'll be airborne back home to Las Vegas in the evening. Just to let everyone know.

Sherwood Sherwood Wow. 9 games at once. Never in my life have I had so many going. Hope you're enjoying them all!

Re: Smoochie. Do you want to resolve Gradicus's tattooed creation's attack methods or do you want me to declare and roll for them? Or something else?

You can resolve the actions of your tattoo monster.

That spell automatically hits its target unless they roll a modified 20+ on a dodge roll. One reason why it costs so much PPE to cast. Otherwise she would have to make a to hit roll.

The upside to not rolling is that you can't miss with a 1-4. But on the flipside, you don't get a chance to get a crit.

Curiosity is good!

Rifts games offer much in the way of imagination and creativity. =)

Sherwood Sherwood Maybe I've been reading comics for too long, but I have a question. Given an Anti-monster or baby dragon's superhuman strength, are they able to launch themselves up into the air at an airborne opponent? Kind of like when the Incredible Hulk leaps up to smash an opponent in the air?

I am asking for a couple of reasons.
1. Smoochie wants to get into hand-to-hand with one of the power armors and make an example out of him or her, if it's possible.
2. The same strategy, if available, might also work for some of our player-characters. =)

Given that Gradicus has the high initiative, you can dive down to lure the powered suits down to a level that she can jump up and either punch or grapple a suit. Grappling would be better; that would keep your enemy in melee range.

Oh, we're above them? That means Gradicus summoned Smoochie in mid-air? O.K. I can work with that. I'll have Grad (thanks for the nickname, Silanon!) dive down and, using his own supernatural strength, drop Smoochie on the middle power where she'll attempt to grapple and buy Grad time to carefully place the bomb.

Sherwood Sherwood I'm going to use a Bonus/Action Point here (because I sure don't want Smoochie to miss). What am I rolling, bud?

Hrmmm. Give me a d20 to try and hit the power armor, since you are basically making a thrown attack against it.

Damage wise, we'll take a page from Rheynn and have Smoochie do 5d6 MD on a standard punch.

Sherwood Sherwood Since Gradicus is holding onto Smoochie during their descent, can he attempt to pull both himself and Smoochie out of harm's way?

I will allow you to try to have both of you evade with Smoochie in hand at a -4 to your roll, since she is large and bulky, but not really that heavy.
