"Return to Ommadawn" by Oldfield. Is that one heck of an album cover or what? =)

Yeah, Trent did some good haggling there. 12 million down to 9? Bring Trent along for a 25% discount on all your travel needs (that is, until Charlie buys something that will beep when his mind is being read, but until then, enjoy!!)! Ha ha! 8D =)

* * *

I like love roleplaying because it lets me "live many lives" as it were.* I get to get into people's heads of my own creation and let them take the wheel. I'm transported then to a different way of thinking, a new perspective, as I simply let go and "watch."

Some years back, I read a magazine interview with Harrison Ford. When asked why he wanted to get into acting, he replied that he wanted to "live many lives."

Sir Ian McKellan (Gandalf in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings once stated, "Actors inhabit." That's what I'm doing whenever I roleplay any of my characters (and I've got more than I can easily count!). So... when I'm playing, say, Gradicus, I'm letting him "tell" me what he's doing. I want him to be in charge of the words I type. I try very hard not to interfere, but to allow. "The Queen of Voice Acting" (Tara Strong) explained in an interview on Great Big Story that each character she voice-acts is a little part of her. Juggling them all means she's little "crazy". Well, hell, I've known that feeling since I started roleplaying back when I was 12 (or 13?)!

My personal approach to Kimberly in that last scene would be very, very different than the one Gradicus took. But I'm not Gradicus. I've never roleplayed myself (ick! That's just weird). Instead, I've let my characters teach me things. I like watching the characters other people create as there is nearly always a little piece of ourselves in every character we create. As the years go by, the number of those characters only rises. With that number are the lessons learned and good times had. Those memories are like solid gold to me, both the good times and the bad. They bring a richness to my ever-moving ADHD/hyperactive mind and a great feeling of warmth and satisfaction to my soul.

Roleplaying was my second lifelong hobby. If it's up to me, I'll roleplay until I die. Even if it's just typing away on the Internet with friends and fellow creators. Time will tell. Until then, game on!=)

There are other reasons I love roleplaying, but I'll stop rambling and leave it at that unless we continue the conversation. Have fun, folks! Good dealing, Dano! =)

Ha ha ha ha! I didn't give her the title! Great Big Story did! Ha ha ha! =)

Aw! And I goofed! They actually call her the "QUEEN of the mic".

Here at the 12:26 mark! See for yourselves! (And boy, is she terrific! Just check out this interview!) =)

DraconianWarrior DraconianWarrior What Epiphany said!

(tabs) using brackets [ ] instead of parenthesis tells the code to begin using tabs (or "open tabs").

(/tabs) using [ ] tells the code when to stop using tabs (or "close tabs"). Get it? =)

Also, did you check out any Dungeons & Dragons modules for your project?

Hey, Pips? What code are you using to add your character's picture in your posts like that, please?

I have no idea. It's a code I was given to use in another RP and I liked it so I used it here. :)

Just hit Reply or Quote and you can snag it for yourself!

Ha! Thanks! =)

Thank God the slaves in Sherwood's game are not counting on our personal computer skills, or they might be just about doomed! Ha ha!

Hey Sherwood! Here's the Super Nerdy Role-playing Question of the Day:

Can a character who has Supernatural Physical Endurance eat as much bacon as he wants without getting sick, or does he have the same metabolism and such as someone with a normal physical endurance attribute (yes, I am referring to Gradicus)?

<facepalm> Of all the hare-brained questions I have to deal with . . . . I don't know. Um, lets say that you have an enhanced metabolism, but you cannot eat bacon all day and not get sick.

Ha ha haaaaaa!!

I have to ask - Gradicus just "told" me he's never had bacon before! And don't worry; Gradicus is not one of my more zany characters who might, say, challenge Brazamal to a bacon eating contest!

Besides, if you wanted normal, average PCs In this game, you would have never invited me! Ha ha! =)

lol, this group is awsome, thanks for letting me join on this guys,
You were the one that inspired me to start this game, so its as much your idea as it is mine. I just hope that everyone continues to enjoy the game as I tell the story I have in mind.

That depends on the pet. Some normal, non-monster pet like a dog or a cat? Sure. A baby dinosaur? Not so much.

I don't know much about snakes except for the fact that I don't want to be around them. Not my cup of tea.

You may want to look at some of the non-Rifts books like TMNT. That one should have better animal stats for you.
