Fantasy Red Hood Society OOC

Everyone's in a standoff. I went after the lycan, you and Rhykad are with the other guy. And there's someone rushing with their injured sister to the scene.

Also, I invite you all to read my Personal Discussions post I just made. It involves you all to an extent.

@Mori-Jin

You're going into the realms of OP for your character again. While I like the idea of a demonic entity would it be possible come to an agreement in the limits of your character?

Something like, the reason he was sent back to or back in the mortal realm was to curb his power? Like, if used to much it does weaken or disappear for a while and a wait is needed to recharge it sort of deal?

Maybe it goes with the phases of the moon too? Like, only a new moon or full one can fully recharge it?

I'm just getting concerned with how much control your character has in the rp at the moment and want to make sure it's fair for everyone.

As a player, I am in absolutely no right to at all challenge your methods. This is your RP after all. I like to suggest, however, a sort of rule that is fairly commonplace. When it comes to combat, we can either use dice (which I hate), or we go by a series of a few rules:

You can't magically grab or force a character to do anything

you cannot shoot or stab a character, but you can give them a chance to react

⅓ rule: one out of three attacks MUST land, even if it wounds.

Ok, can we not use dice? Please? it makes the fights so much more complicated than they should be.

And about the Opness~ (gimme a sec to type)

I think some rules for fairness are definitely needed. So we all have some guidelines to look to to help keep things fair all around.

And don't worry. I am not a big fan of dice either. lol. Totally agree they're too complicated x3

I think I'll use some of the rules you listed @JokerValentine and make sure to make a short list of other things. Some basics when it comes to confrontations in the story.

He was sealed in the void, an endless amount of, well, nothing. Like, complete and utter nothingness, for millenia. He WAS A demon general, with an entire army behind him, and with millions of contracts made. Now, all of them have expired, and all of his army is dead. The only followers he has is the fallen angel Lucifer, the 2nd demon general Revie, and the witch Hami. The reason he was released is due to the hole thing with wolves and humans. He is supposed to be there to try to make peace. But due to some . . . problems, with his transmission, he had no idea  this was his mission. That's the whole, the demon being kind thing.

Now, other than his reason for being there, the contract, i dont see anything else Op affect. Is it his overconfidence? The mist entity of greed? Please tell me so I can compromise~

If the reason for not being there isnt fine, my other idea was that the seal holding him in the void weakened as he got stronger due to the negative emotions by the hunter vs wolf thing

In my opinion, I feel that there are certain aspects that I view to be either OP or extremely close

*throwing the stone back nearly as soon as it got thrown

*having a blackened mist that is capable of killing an entire pack of wolves instantly

*having the mist embody a specific human trait (that is, if the black smoke is Greed itself, that seems to be too much to me)

*automatically constructing a huge-ass wall

*grabbing my character unfairly and restraining him

*giving my character no ability to break your control

*having a few followers that can be summoned seemingly at any time to magically aid hurt people

*no apparent character flaws that can be exploited

I'm usually a bit of a trash person, so sorry if it seems like I'm mad at you personally. In my opinion (and again, whatever I say is absolutely meaningless if the GM says it isn't and I 100 percent support that), it doesn't make it fun for me, or maybe others to have their ideas forcefully altered. To me, there's a fine line between a combat-based situation that forces a mental change, or a sudden obstacle that hinders any ideas going forward.

I hope this helps!

I do have to say that those were points of concern I was seeing as well.

I take the blame though for not making sure to set some rules and guidelines for the the rp and not being terribly clear on what parts felt OP or were places of concern.

These are basics but a start for now for rules/guidelines. I'll run them by you guys for sure to see if they make sense and are fair. So far it seems like the biggest fix will at least be discussing things. You don't have to completely reveal what you want to do but make sure the other person(s) know and have agreed to it and exactly how big the impact will be on their character.

I agree with them!

My one question though is if we have to PM one another if we are gonna fight or not 1x1? Like would I have to Pm you if i was attacking you?

You can through PM or you could discuss it here too if you wanted. haha. As long as each party involved in the fight knows what's goin on and agrees to it.
