I was honestly surprised anyone mentioned Komaeda. I'm not saying he is unapproachable, he actually is considered attractive by some characters within the Danganronpa series, even if complements aren't commonplace for him. And he is described as easy going and relaxing, even by someone who is as apprehensive as Hinata.

But an assassin wanting to dance with him is not what I was expecting. Though... considering all the dangerous people in and out of Komaeda's life, including himself, perhaps it isn't as farfetched.

being easygoing, relaxing, and moderately attractive is all you need. i was thinking about having kohaku try talking to him later just because of that

Everyone discussing their potential dance partners, cradling plates of food and drinks in their hands. Kohaku dramatically points to Komaeda, who is tucked away in the corner conversating with someone, "You guys see that guy standing over there?!"

The conversations in the ballroom suddenly quiet down, and the group looks over towards the gestured person. "I call dips!" Kohaku adds.

The group stares at the idol for a long moment, flashes of quick emotions and thoughts behind their eyes. Gintoki decides to speak up, "I think the only thing you should be calling is an ambulance. He is paler than snow."

Carmen adds on with a nod, "Yeah, I've been watching him for a while, and he looks a bit green around the gills..."

Kohaku sighs, "You guys are so unsupportive..."

"i know like, 3 people that are terminally ill that are still idols."

that statement doesnt make things any better.

Okay, all jokes aside, that is sweet of Kohaku. Willing to dance with someone and not being deterred by their chronic illness or disabilities is very nice of him. And I'm sure Komaeda would appreciate it. :]

if komaeda doesnt feel well enough to dance, he assumes hell tell him. there are legit multiple chronically ill idols who are treated as equal in enstars, so he has no reason to be deterred.

shout out to eichi for nearly dying at least twice in the games story

I don't even think this is period accurate, the pogo stick wasn't invented until 1919, and the modern-day, two handle version Ed is hopping around on wasn't created until 1957-

Canonically, Amestris went through a very different period of technological development than our earth. So like, we were inventing planes and only had the very basic prosthesis technology, Amestris was out there with only hot air balloons but were inventing entire robotic limbs at the same time. So theoretically(?) maybe they were just so cool and awesome that they invented the pogo stick four years before we did
