"Shit," Tsubaki growled under her breath. She would have preferred to have gotten through this fight without anyone being injured. But at least it seemed Katja had a relatively high pain tolerance. Letting out another low growl, Tsubaki sent slashes towards the few remaining tentacles before turning her attention to the main body. The sooner they finished this fight the better.

 

[Karcen]

The Yoma quivered it had lost most of its mass with it's attacks and have only gotten in minimal damage, still it didn't seem to understand the idea of fear or retreat if it though at all so it kept attacking, though it was obvious the thing was on death's door.


" It is over" Katja said seeing the Yoma was so weak right now she did think it couldn't even hurt their normal companion, but it was better safe than sorry.

 

[KageYuuki]

"Then take care of your shoulder," Tsubaki called over her shoulder. Her sword glowed brightly before before she sent an arc that was considerably larger than the ones used to sever the tentacles. With any luck, that would be the final blow.

 

[Karcen]

The yoma shuddered and slowly changed into a flower blooming and presenting them with 5 seeds for the taking.


Kayja meanwhile started to summon a different servant, but unlike the others this one took awhile to call, slumbering deep in her pocket dimension and rarely called on her final servant. Still the servant didn't appear instantly but there was a rippling in the air as it grew close to the world. " i will be fine" Katja said her lack of tone making it sound like she thought she would be fine with a pipe sized hole though her shoulder.

 

[KageYuuki]

Tsubaki shook her head, sheathing her sword as she walked over to the flower and picking the seeds. "Yeah, I'm sure you'll be fine eventually but you should focus on getting that wound healing." She walked back over to the rest of the group. "You guys can each have two, I still have some left from the last fight."

 

[Lil Shirou]

Yui devolves the barrier around yui and max. Water comes pouring down around them. She goes up to tsubaki and katja. I dont need the greif seed either. "Tsubaki take the extra one your still building the duration of how long you can stay in your magical girl form before your soul gem goes black. How do we get max back to the real world?"

 

[Karcen]

" I will deal with that" Katja said though she still had that gaping hole in her shoulder, but not of long as her servant arrived. The servant looked exactly like a human, more so that any other she looked to be a nurse dressed in the same uniform as a local hospital with black hair that was shoulder length and perfect skin. Anyone could be forgiven for thinking she was human if not for a reflective metal mask over her face marking her as a servant, this detail was something uncommon in servants others were human shaped but never did they show this much of their former selves.


"You called mistress?" The servant asked doing something no other had done and actually talking as if it had its own will.


" Yes akiko" Katja said showing another difference all the others were generally named after some legend, chung being an example as few legends used guns and sounded good.


Akikio moved to Katja and placed her hand's on Katja's shoulder and started to humm a little as her hands started to glow and the wound started to heal from the inside out.

 

[Lil Shirou]

" wait your servants can talk. Man that even more disruping then before. Your servants seem to blur the lines of what is a yoma and whats human. Cough* cough*. Why dont we meet tomorro..." yui says as she suddenly feels light headed after coughing. Her skin turns white and eyes zone out. Yui head is burning up. From yui last battle she must of swallowed water and dirt when she trap herself in the yoma before killing it. It now in her lungs and stuff making her sick.

 

[Karcen]

" Just Akiko as i spent the most time trying to rebuild her" Katja said about to go into a lesson about how her servants were made and just how lose they were to both groups. " I do not try this with every servant because i only knew Akiko before she was a Yoma , and therefore had an idea for who she was. If I could be sad I would say I was sad that she is not who she was but just my idea of her, she is the most human because I made her that way" Katja explained thought hat left more questions like why woudl someone with no emotions bother to treat anyone special.


Any other questions were put behind as Yui seemed sick, well very sick " Akiko help her" Katja said


" Yes mistress" The servant replied moving from katja over to Yui her reflective mask looking directly at Yui before looking to her chest seeing the water and illness in the lungs and seeing only the idea of helping the patient " remove your shirt" She said.

 

[Lil Shirou]

"Well a lot like your master you are i most say. I am glad we are all girls then." Yui hesitate but slowly lowers her shirt in front of everyone. She lays on the ground not able to stay up any longer.

 

[Assailant]

Max blushed hotly. She didn't even realize doing it, as she was too concerned for Katja and Yui, but well... if she was being honest, she didn't dislike the view.


Hope she's okay. Given that magical girls can heal so well, I would think a sickness would pretty much mean nothing to them.

 

[Karcen]

"she can only construct what she knows" Akiko said as she knelt over Yui and placed her hands over the center of her chest . Her hands soon started to glow "day to night, dark to night. fall the sands of time. Let the years like the gears of a clock unwind. " She started to sing the song somehow enhancing the power of Akiko's healing. "in your mind walk though time back to better days memories like a dream wash tears away" She continued.


Katja meanwhile watched her face a mask as always though oddly if someone where foolish they might think she was being sentimental when she heard the song also one might also suspect she too didn't dislike the view but well that was if anything a trick of the viewers mind and the focus she had on her servant.

 

[Lil Shirou]

" Are we almost done? They are staring at me and it uncomfortable." Yui says as she notice Max blushing over her. "Seriously am i the only girl you seen half naked. It not like i choose this."

 

[Assailant]

Max grinned. "'Course not. Half naked isn't where it ends either." Max winked.

 

[Karcen]

Akiko finished her work and vanished " I would say sorry but i can not feel sorry, either way you shoudl be fine " Katja said simply still watching Yui with disinterested eyes not even caring abotu Max's comment, well she did need to interject. " It is best if you treat being a magical girl as a job workplace romances should be avoided" She explained

Tsubaki hadn't been paying much attention to the scene breaking out nearby. Sure Akiko had caught her interest, but she was still reeling somewhat from the events of the day. That didn't stop the girl from taking note of Katja mentioning how hard she'd tried to restore Akiko. That wasn't something Tsubaki figured she would care to do. Crimson eyes drifted around the empty city that made up slip space, not really paying much attention to the chatter of the others.


"'Course not. Half naked isn't where it ends either."


Tsubaki snorted, coughing a little in her failed attempt to stifle a laugh.

 

[Lil Shirou]

"Seriously out of all the teams to be on i get put on a team that prevs on me when i am sick." Say yui as she begins to form a new bubble but this time it not clear. She mixes the air into her water as it freezes turning it cloudy. It wasnt ment for protecting but more as a way to gain privacy.

 

[Karcen]

Katja was unbiased by the comment likely because she didn't see it as meant for her, her focus had been on Akiko and the healing it has been the first time she had tried to heal sickness.


" Now that that is all settled Katja said attempting to put an end to anymore interest that wasn't strictly professional " It is getting late do you need to tell you parents where you are max? She asked having noticed that max had not contacted her family at all or if she needed to. " If you are still undecided we can meet you tomorrow and you can accompany us once more " she said seemingly acting as s leader of sorts.

 

[Assailant]

Max grinned at Tsubaki. "Yeah, you liked that?" She then laughed at Yui's comment and the bubble. "Oh, c'mon Yu!" She said, shortening her name like an old friend might for effect. She was, of course, just joking. If Yui felt her privacy was being invaded, than far be it from Max to continue pushing. She then heard Katja's comment and her face blanched.


"Shit!" She exclaimed. "Yeah, you're right. I won't be in trouble if I hurry back. Hmm... guess I'm meeting you tomorrow!" She found herself enjoying this group of girls (even Katja, sort of.) She found herself, however, worried. If Yui hadn't been protecting her, maybe Katja wouldn't have gotten hurt. She didn't want to be a burden. But these girls were fun, this world was fun albeit dangerous. She wanted more.

 

[Karcen]

" With that settled we will need to go back to the normal world, if you want someone to escort you home max i am sure Tsubaki wouldn't mind, i swill need to stay around Yui longer to make sure Akiko's work sticks" She said not giving Yui much of a choice or well not even thinking to give her one. Then Katja moved you Max and hugged her again before changing back to normal and taking Max back into the real world with her.

" you could atleast wait for me" says yui before she transforms back . Her magical girl form return to water and into her soul gem. She returns behind max and katja. " this is getting really bad. Almost dieing and getting. I wonder what else we will face."

" With that settled we will need to go back to the normal world, if you want someone to escort you home max i am sure Tsubaki wouldn't mind, i swill need to stay around Yui longer to make sure Akiko's work sticks" She said not giving Yui much of a choice or well not even thinking to give her one. Then Katja moved you Max and hugged her again before changing back to normal and taking Max back into the real world with her.

"Oh man, I'm getting all of the love today, aren't I?" Max said with a smile, continuing her pervert schtick. "You don't need an excuse to hug me, hun." Then Yui appeared and Max's grin widened. "Oh, I leave you wanting more? As for what will happen, I assure you that whatever happens, I'll be prepared!" She said enthusiastically, the obvious joke being that she couldn't possibly be prepared.

 

[Karcen]

Katja was the least likely to laugh or get tired of bad jokes, or at least she assumed they were jokes. The subject matter could be rather mature as she realized that one of the group was a big younger than the others. While selling your future for a wish tended to mature people quickly, but regardless it was best to try to get Max to make few such jokes around Yui. Katja was most likely underestimating Yui but she knew in fighting was bad and as she was the leader in a way it was her job to stop it.


" Max i would suggest you refrain from to many such jokes in front of the younger members of this team otherwise i will have make you be quiet" She said her toneless voice allowed no distinction between a suggestion, a completely serious threat, or just holding the girls mouth shut for a little bit.

 

[Assailant]

"Younger?" Max questioned looking at Yui. "Is she younger? It's hard to tell." Max didn't mean any disrespect. Japanese women, of course, looked different from the American women she was used to. The age frame wasn't as clear. "If I'm being honest, if you're old enough to fight eldritch abominations, you're probably old enough for innuendos. Just a thought." Max looked back to where they just came from and considered for a few moments. "Well, you raised a valid point. I need to check in with my dad. Make sure he isn't freaking out. See ya... whenever, I guess? Kyubey will arrange it, I'm sure." Then she had a thought of using Kyubey like a cellphone: Them holding him up to their ears to talk to each other. That earned a chuckle, before she waved and ran off back to her house.




Max entered the house and slammed the door behind her. Her dad called from the other side of the house, asking her where she was, then how her day was. "How was my day?" She grinned. "Magical!" Max ran upstairs to her room, saying she was tired. Her dad wished her goodnight before she made it upstairs. Max flopped on her bed with a smile, exhaustion quickly taking over. With that, however, came clarity of mind. She suddenly realized what she had witnessed. Her mind flashed back to Katja getting impaled by the Yoma. She threw up a bit in her mouth, and shivered for a few moments at the memory. If Katja wasn't a magical girl, she would be dead or hospitalized for awhile. Max frowned and pulled out a notepad and began writing.

Tsubaki sighed, stretching. "Well this has been an interesting day to say the least." Max seemed like she could be a fun partner to work with. Laid back even in such a stressful situation. She was at least more fun to talk to than Katja was. "Bah, I meant to give her my phone number." Tsubaki let out an annoyed sigh and shook her head. "Oh well, if she needs me sure Kyubey will show up. Seems to be among his talents."
