"Smell!? Now I'm offended." He pointed out before looking at the lizard boy. "Now don't get me wrong, lizard boy, if you want me gone, and believe me I do want to leave as soon as possible, then hand over that El shard. I'd probably be able to put it into fair use, than at the hands of people. Just give it to me and I'll be on my way, away from this place that Wally made." He tried to barter with him as his stay wasn't welcomed at all.

"Hmm~ Fine, I'll let you off the hook only because I don't want to have that sword pointed toward me."

Rena turned her attention to the two figures in the spotlight; not that she really needed to since everyone was looking at them. She snuck a few glances at the El shard in the dragon boy's hands. The forest elf Rena may have had a good relationship with him but her dark side had no interest in being friendly with the other Rena's friends. If a chance comes, she would surely snatch that shard out of the boy's hands.

She suppressed a light chuckle at the conversation between the demon general and the girl he keeps referring to as a kid. True enough, the girl looked young enough to be mistaken for a little girl, which only made things more hilarious as she continued to talk back.

Demon general or not, he seems more like a kid than that little girl. A kid that wants a toy in someone else's possession.

She remained silent as the bickering continued, making a mental note to keep her guard up against the owner of a piercing gaze on her back.

Fufufu... I don't know what's the deal with that dancer girl but she seems to suddenly hate me. Well, if she wants a fight, I'll give her one. I'll toy with her little feelings before I beat that pretty face into a pulp.

"Sorry sir... I have a cute panda if you want it." Said Airi. She pulled out her stuffed panda and held it up to the person. Her former hostile mood was gone, replaced with her childish self once more.

"Uh... That's... cute, I guess. You keep it though, I'm too old to have toys. Fits you more." He replied with small gestures at her, while still waiting for an answer.

"Just an assumption. Last I saw you, you were in a group of demons at the El Tree and they seem to follow your orders. Anyways," Xavier said and he held out the El Shard. It gave off a small glow in front of him, making curious what the celestial being was doing with it exactly. He heard the beast's confirmation that he can let it go now. It made him feel at ease. "I won't bother to fight for it. You can definitely have it," Xavier said, tossing the crystal between his hands, the claws clicking as they made contact with the gem. "I already finished what I was doing with it, anyways." He paused for a moment. "Just know that next time, if there was another situation like this, I won't give it up."


With that, he let the shard roll off his hand and let it hit the ground. A sturdy gem it was, hitting the ground with a thud, rocking back in forth in front of Xavier and it was still on the floor, giving off a soft gentle glow that now it has no holder. Xavier stepped over the crystal, ready to leave now as Komodo followed close by. He heard the inner beast going silent though he was still there, probably thinking to himself.


At first Xavier wanted to see Rena. Though gave a slight strained look to the fact that the elf was no corrupted and went to a different way. He realized he was walking towards Rain. They were the only ones left of the group after all. Xavier wasn't entirely sure what they should do now, but he knows there is an award for them to grab. Not to mention, he felt a bit bad that she lost someone close to her. He could at least help her prepare for her future travels.

She feels a hollowness that never invaded her mind before. She no longer cared what happened to this world...no. She mentally shakes her head to push away the thought.

She sees Xavier walking towards her, but it doesn't relieve her heart.

"Xavier, how about you go on ahead to collect our reward? I need some time alone. Come find me at Lake Noahs tomorrow, please. There are some things we need to discuss."

Rain then turns away from the crowd of people, waiting for all of them to leave.

"Good. Samael." He ordered his chains, getting the stone and bringing it back to his hands. "This'll make good progress in the restoration. My business is done here, let's hope we don't see each other again." He responded to them while making his way towards the broken window.

Rena didn't even glance at her former comrades as they left. Why would she? The person she is now had no attachment to the two. In fact, it may even be a joke to call them former comrades since they had never been considered such in the dark elf's life. Someone she did have an attachment to, would be the one they were calling a demon general. So when the boy hinted that he was about to leave, Rena stepped into his path.

"Could you spare a few minutes for a short talk, Mr. Demon General?"

"...Alright." He couldn't blame her for wanting to be alone. Xavier took one last look at Rain before going off on his way, sighing lightly that the job was done. Though today was full of surprises.


An unknown celestial beast living inside of him. He still haven't shared his name to Xavier. Komodo briefly rubbed his snout against the hand at Xavier's side, making the troubled teen smile for once and patted the dragon gently. He can finally feel the aches around his body and looked so much forward for a good rest. But now, he just needs to check in with their completed mission.

"Again with the... What do you want? I'm kinda in a hurry." He asked a little irritated that someone called him that again and being stopped from his quick escape.

"Let's make a deal. As you can tell, I no longer have any connection with my... previous companions. I have no interest in taking the El for myself either. All I ask is that you take me to the Demon Realm and allow me to stay there, and I'll be willing to work for you."

To be honest, the dark elf didn't understand herself why she wished to go to the Demon Realm. However, something within her seemed to pull her toward the little demon general, uncomfortable to let him leave from her sight.

Interesting... even with her will under my control, her desire to find out what happened to this boy is still strong enough to influence me. I'll play along for now and see for myself what's so special about this hybrid elf.

Airi put the panda back into the bag and observed the room. It looks like the other forest elf fell into darkness... And now wanted to talk with "demon general". How suspicious. Airi wanted to keep an eye on the elf.

Sauntering near the "demon general" while pretending to play with her mug, she listened to their conversation.

"Well.. Penensio, What's our next mission?" Elesis asked through the party link.

"About that... we were asked to go to Altera to investigate some Nasod ruins. But we have a situation on our hands." Penensio said grimly.

"What is it? Spit it out already!" She cried at the sudden change in mood.

"Our Shadow Tracers following the party of four reported that they have entered the noble Wally's secret laboratory and is currently engaged in battle with the Nasod Inspector."

"You've got to be kidding me..." Elesis said sighing. When can I take a break?!? "Ugh...for sake of El! Grab some bombers from the cannon brigade and let's head out to the Lab."

"What are you thinking?" Penensio fireback.

"What else? We're gonna blow the place up and get those trouble makers out of the way. And send a little message to Wally to stop using state funds for his petty ambitions." She said sharply. Elesis was through with playing games.

Penensio quickly gathered up the troops and marched them to the lab. Looks like someone rubbed her the wrong way when she went into town.. sigh.

When they met up at the entrance of the Laboratory. Elesis stood there with her arms crossed. "Each of you grab a C4 and place it around the perimeter. But I need 4 of you to put the IEDs here, here, here, and here." She said pointing to marked locations on a map of the Lab. "These are the locations of the pillars that support the entire structure up. You blow these up, you get a cave in. Now move out."

In an hour, with a snap of her fingers the Wally's Laboratory came crashing down.

With Xavier's pace, it took him about half an hour to leave the castle and to report in for the reward. People around seem to be surprised at Komodo's appearance, often avoiding them or going at a different direction. Xavier usually have Komodo to hide in his clothes or fly off in hiding but Komodo was now too big for that. They have to endure the wary looks from everyone in the town.

He got the reward, and was handsomely paid for getting the job done. Xavier said his thanks, knowing the money was meant to be split up into four but now it apparently looks like its going to split up to two. He was getting more than needed. By then he knows it was late. His tiredness beats over his hunger and went ahead to book a room for the night and sleep in. Xavier hoped the next day would just be a day of peace.

He closed his eyes as he was comfortably laying on the bed of his room. Not bothering to cover himself in blankets as Komodo was resting next to the bed, snoring softly. Xavier quietly listened to the snores as his mind began to drift and it wasn't long that he faced the dragon again.

The large beast bend over to stare at Xavier again, his eyes full of interest. Xavier watched the beast break into a frightening smile, and finally, he was about to receive some answers.

"Little Fire, my name is Perkisas. I can first say that you're granted my strength. Now...I don't mind answering your countless questions...Xavier." Perkisas rolled the name with his tongue.

It was an interesting night.

Ash channeled his voice through his hat.
"Rain....Rain....I know I can't hear you but I want you to take the passcode for my account. When ED is needed go to the guild tell them thr password and they'll give you access to an amount of ED. Take care Rain..." Ash finished transmission. When his eyes opened up back to his main body Ishmaels fully nude body was riding him. "Oh look who woke up~ Sorry if I didn't say anything but an idea hit me." Ishmael laughed. "Now that theres another god, I want a child~"

"HOLY SHIT! THAT WOMAN IS INSANE!!"

Rain was tired...oh so very tired of this world. She spent quite a bit of time mulling to herself, wondering what it is she should do. Twirling the hat in her hands, she was surprised to hear a visage of Ash's voice. Or maybe it was just her going insane. Nonetheless, she decides to listen to what he has to say, mentally noting the password he gave.

And then she hears explosions.

The room starts to cave in. Rain quickly activate Pirouette and glides out of the collapsing lab. Some of the metal pieces were sent flying to her, and her other self takes over, unleashing a powerful cry that pushed the debris away.

"Remind me to patch my relationship with Elesis when I go back to my world. I think we experienced all sides of her now, and she is really someone who we don't want to mess with."

It takes her a while to come back to Elder. Her slippers have worn out at the bottom, and her dress is burnt in some places. Sighing heavily, she goes over to Lake Noahs and sits by the edge of the lake.

"So, we're sleeping outside tonight?"

"Yeah, I need to get away from everything."

Rain falls into the lake and sinks to the bottom, creating an air bubble around her. Exhaustion kidnaps her consciousness as she dreads what the next day will bring.

"...The hell was that?" Ren snapped out of his reflection at the feeling of the tremors. The tremors got louder, and soon debris started to rain from the ceiling. "Cave in! Get moving!" he exclaimed to his teammates.

With that, the elf bolted at full speed for the door. "Airi! Lara! Let's go!" After that last call, Ren kept running and didn't turn back. The elf ran straight as the halls around him crumbled. Luckily, there weren't many sharp turns, so he didn't have to slow down too much. He gritted his teeth as his legs began to scream for mercy, becoming taut like iron.

"Adrenaline Shot!" the elf screamed as he frantically typed the command into his reader. Instantly, a supplementary chemical was fired into his bloodstream. Ren's heart rate increased to dangerous levels, but the increased blood-flow helped mitigate the elf's tightening legs. In addition to this, adrenaline flared up in his body like an explosion, overclocking the short elf's body to the absolute maximum. With this boost, Ren ran much quicker, to the point where he began facing fierce air resistance. But luckily, the exit was already in sight.

A large rock was falling right where the laboratory entrance was. Even more alarming was the squadron of soldiers that stood outside. And though Ren was running like the wind, he could make out the redheaded woman that he saw days before in that bar.

Tch... Ren gritted his teeth.

Ren sprinted even quicker and used his momentum to slide. His small figure was only barely able to slide under the rock before it blocked the entrance and crushed him under it. As he slid under, he inhaled a deep breath, tapped his reader, and became invisible.

He stopped about five feet away from the red-haired woman, and she had a devious smile on her face as she was watching the entire Laboratory crumble. Ren had an itch to kill her right then and there, but he couldn't. A full squadron of armed soldiers and EOD technicians was accompanying her. And they were dangerously close.

Holding his breath, he methodically got himself up into a sneaking position. His Active Camo was about to run out, but Ren pumped more of his mana into the reader to keep him invisible (and alive). Ren crept by the squadron, careful not to make any noise whatsoever. An audible footstep or the clinking of his sword or rifle was enough to get him captured and possibly killed. His heart beat fiercely against his ribcage, but Ren was determined to stay calm and to stay hidden. As he continued creeping away, he let his breath out in intervals. Once he was out of earshot, he breathed in a healthy dose of fresh air, thanking God that he made it out of there alive, as well as for the cool night breeze he was blessed with.

Ren rested against a withered tree, waiting for any sign that his teammates made it out alive. Especially Lara. She was the key to his reward, after all. And so, under the cover of burnt trees and twinkling stars, he waited.

Well, what Airi heard was fairly... Interesting. So the elf was part of the Demon Realm. The general person was also with them? She knew she should have killed him earlier.

The cave or dungeon suddenly started to collapse. Someone outside must have exploded something.

This is also your chance to get away... Run! Said one side of her.

But my allies... Said the other side. Grumbling to herself, she held out her hand.

"Divine Block!"

A circular like barrier surrounded everyone in the cave. It was now their own option to get out before they were crushed. At least the healer got away, noted Airi.

The exit was quickly caving in, she noted. She dashed around, avoiding boulders and other stones crashing around her. When they slowly piled up, she lept into the air and jumped onto the falling Boulder, leaving a shadow clone behind. Airi successfully managed to get out. She walked until she found a Lake. Steele followed her until the lake.

Airi felt filthy. She hasn't washed her body for days. Of course, she could bathe in the lake, but there was a fellow male.

"Don't watch me bathe, or you won't live to see tomorrow." States Airi as she glared at the elf. Without waiting for an answer, she lept off to a nearby stone and stripped.

Airi slowly entered Lake Noah's and immediately relaxed. It felt so good...

She padded around the lake, randomly swimming here and there. She spotted Steele and immediately went the other way. Hopefully he didn't see her body.

Airi stopped in the middle of the lake and went under water. Her foot felt something squishy, yet quite solid... This... Wasn't sand.

She bobbed up and down again, liking this weird ground.

Ren met up with Airi and he followed her into Lake Noahs.

"Don't watch me bathe, or you won't live to see tomorrow," Ren heard the girl say.

"Don't worry! I'm not into little girls," he retorted. As soon as he said that, he heard the splash. Water droplets erupted from somewhere near the lakeshore.

Ren turned to the horizon, gazing upon the moonrise, and began meditating. He slowed his heart rate down by breathing rhythmically. With each rise and fall of his chest, his muscles eased from their tension and began to relax. He was about to fall asleep when the grumbling of his stomach interrupted his relaxation.

"Damn..." he cursed. With no signs of Lara (or his reward), he would live like a poor man tonight. Almost.

Standing up he went up a hill that ended on a low cliff. Kneeling on the grass, Ren looked down into the calm waters. Activating Apollo's Blessing, Ren used his sharpened eyes to see if there were any fish. But even with the Blessing active, Ren could barely see anything in murky waters. He stood up and pulled out a Disfrozen grenade. The grenade was oddly shaped, resembling a Pokéball. Pushing the button in the middle, Ren tossed the grenade into the water and hoped for the best.

The grenade floated towards the bottom and exploded like a depth charge, disturbing the calm water. Ren kneeled and watched closely, and he smiled when he saw large fish floating to the surface. He harvested the dead fish, went back to the lakeshore, and began working on a fire.

An explosion was heard as Airi was bobbing up and down. She suspected Steele was doing something and moved to where he was, before she was going to be sent flying.

Once arriving, she hid behind a rock where her clothes were and changed. Finished, she headed where Steele was.

"Hello! Are you going fishing?"

She only slept for a few minutes before she feels a slight disruption in the water and then someone jumping on her body. At first, she tries to ignore it, but whoever is stepping on her is starting to grind his/her foot into her air bubble.

The dancer awakens, annoyed.

Summoning a few of her daggers, she hesitantly nudges the offending appendage.

"I just can't get a break, can I?"

She feels the water shift, and the human leg moves away from her. Satisfied that she might get some sleep now, Rain drifts off once again.

"I was going fishing," replied Ren, holding three large Tilapia in his hand. "Help me build a fire and we'll have a nice dinner," Ren said with a bright smile.

"Okay!" Exclaimed Airi. Thirty minutes later, a fire was made and fish was being cooked over the hot coals.

"Are you still going fishing? I kinda eat a lot..." Asked Airi after she finished.

"We could cook more, yeah," Ren replied. "Just keep the fire going. We eating good tonight!" Ren flashed a cute, bright smile.

He got up and began throwing grenades all around. Explosions caused waterspouts to rise, but to Ren's dismay, some explosions occurred as far away as the middle of the lake. "Hm... Strange... Maybe the currents carried the grenades all that way..." Ren commented to himself.

Loads more fish floated to the water, and Ren saw some floating up even in the middle of the lake. Turning to Airi, Ren said, "Let's gather the fish and get to cooking!"

She did not remember the lake being this turbulent. She groans lightly, trying to ignore the disruption.

"I just want to sleep...please..."
