"We should probably give it some space," Altaira remarked, ".. authorities don't typically like places being crowded with pedestrians during times like theses."

Granted, she also kind of wanted to go after her own gym badge, not to mention if this was Team Rocket, she'd prefer not to be there unless the others really wanted to do something... but even then, there wasn't much they could do at the time anyways.

Luna nodded before turning away from the building. "That does make sense. Wouldn't want to get in the way." Luna rubbed her head as she glanced around parts of the town she could see. "Well, if we're not going to do anything else, I think I'll head to the gym and maybe do a bit of shopping afterward if the museum is still locked. And if anyone wants to tag along, you'll know where to find me." She said with a small laugh.

Drew nodded as his search lead to no openings. He put his hands in his pockets as he walked towards the gym.

Altaira nodded, "Good, let's head that way," She said walking with the group ready for her gym battle as well. JC shrugs her shoulders. She agreed there wasn't much she could do either, but figured she could tag along to support them for their gym battles. So she followed the others.

Issac took in with an opened jaw, sure he had been here before but he was more concerned with getting to Pallet Town than taking in the sights. “Ya know, it just hit me how few wild Pokémon I’ve seen in my life.” He stayed as he finally caught up to Silas, tripping over the same Metapod in the process. Then a feminine scream came from somewhere in the forest. “You hear that?” He asked his companion, with shade taking a defensive stance the moment it ended. “You think that wild Pokemon are attacking someone, or you think it’s something else?”

Diana’s attention was brought towards the door once the shutters went down, but she did hear Sam’s question. “Judging by the sirens and shutters, I’d say we’re in the middle of a robbery, or some unfortunate sap ended up knocking something over on accident. And I have doubts on the second one.” She answered in her usual monotone as she check the shutters. “Don’t think my Trapinch can bite its way through without this being heavily dented from the other side, and that would be pretty hard to do.” Then Sam asked if Diana had a communication device of some kind. “My PDA can send emails but that’s about it.”

Luna nodded as she followed the others to the gym. She had done a bit of research about the different gyms, and right now they would be going to the rock gym. Luna felt fairly confident saying she had 2 grass type pokemon. She thought about how she wanted to go about the battle, but ultimately just decided to go with the flow when the time comes.

Drew let out a breath as he walked into the gym. The gym leader used rock types so Poli and Locke should be able to take care of him. He looked over at Luna. "You want to go first?" He asked.

Luna turned to Drew and nodded as she entered the gym. "Sure, that is unless Altaira wants to go first?" She asked turning back towards her.

JC and Altaira followed the two of them into the gym. There they'd see a reception area with a receptionist. There were two sets of doors leading further into this room. One for spectators and one for challengers. Ofcourse, challengers had to register for their matches before they were allowed to enter, and only when it was their turn.

"You can go first," Altaira remarked to Luna's question. While she wanted to do hers, she figured she'd have Luna do hers first, "I can go after you."

"Alright! Well, here I go." She said with a semi-confidant smile before walking up to the receptionist area. She told the person currently tending to the area that she would be registering for a gym battle before swiping her ID card.

She was registered for the battle before the doors to the arena area opened for her to enter. JC ofcourse, remarked she was here to watch and was allowed into the spectators area.

Drew registered to battle before fallowing Alteria. He was as ready as he was going to be. "Please work" he muttered as he walked into the main gym. "Good luck Luna." He said

Sam thought for a moment. "Do you want to see what's happening?' She asked Diana. "Maybe we can help."

Drew nor Altaira was allowed in the arena area until it was their turn. Only 1 at a time after all.

Altaira had signed up before Drew ofcourse.

Luna waved to JC before entering thought the doors. She smiled at Drew and nodded. "Thanks, I wish the best of luck to you two too." She said before walking ahead and entering the arena where the gym leader, assumingly, stood. Luna took a moment to breathe before waving to him as she stepped forward a bit.

Luna would see Brock standing on the other side of the arena. He gives her a friendly smile.

"Welcome to Pewter City Gym," he said to her, "I take it this is your first gym battle?"

JC had nodded back towards Luna when she waved at her. She was curious to see how this battle would go down.

Altaira didn't follow the others into the spectators area, instead deciding to wait in the reception area.

Luna smiled back at Brock and nodded. "Yup! It's pretty exciting." She said with a little laugh. "But just because I'm a bit of a noob doesn't mean I want you to go easy on me. So whenever you're ready I'm ready as well." She said with a tad bit of confidence.

"I wouldn't dream of it," Brock said as he walked to the side and picked up two pokeballs, "But, to make it a little more fair, I'm only going to be using these two Pokemon. Don't worry, they'll still give you challenge."

He clipped one of them to his belt before holding up the other one.

"Now, let's begin," Brock said before throwing the Pokeball in his hands, "Geodude, Let's go!"

The Rock and ground Pokemon appeared out of it's pokeball onto the rocky terrain of the gym area.

Luna smiled and looked down at Manny. "Let's start this badge collecting journey together!" She said with a cheer before setting the Fomantis on the ground. "Alright, Manny! I know you can do it!" She cheered as the small pokemon gave a happy squeal as he stood in front of Luna excited to fight.

"Wise chose," Brock complimented, "Now, Geodude, Defense curl!"

Brock's Geodude obeyed as it curled up into a ball to increase it's defense.

Luna rubbed her head a bit sheepishly at the compliment before calling out to Manny. "Start off with growth then create some space between you both Manny!"

Manny nodded and quickly ran back from the rock pokemon before performing growth. He grew a bit in size being about double the size than he was before while also raising both his attack and sp. attack hoping it'll make up for the increased defense of Geodude.

Bear decided to head to the gym for a battle too, but decided to watch Luna fight the gym leader “Go Manny.” Piplup also cheered for their friend

"Rock Polish," Brock said as the geodude began to get all shiny increasing it's speed, "Now, rollout!"

The Geodude curled into a ball once more before begining to spin rapidly as it charged towards Manny.

"Manny! Move to the left then attack using Leaf Blade!" Manny quickly did what he was told barely managing to dodge the rollout attack.

Manny quickly made it's leaf-like arms longer and sharper as they glowed a faint green while hardening a bit. He then charged after the Geodude aiming to slash right through the middle of it.

Luna heard Bear and Piplup cheer for her as she spotted them out the corner of her eye. She smiled but kept her focus at the battle at hand.
