Esme had experienced many battles, but they were with other students typically at her level. She always attempted to challenge someone a few tiers about her, sometimes successfully and other times they wouldn’t give her the time of day. But she took what she could get. Everyone said she needed a fuller more diverse team, but she was picky about her traveling companions and really preferred Greys large array of moves. Still, she was working on expanding — she planned to evolve her dragonair, but it would be some time before he was ready; as well as her kirlia who was her newest addition to the group. Some of these trainers she was with were already adding to their team, but she didn’t want to catch anything until she new she needed that addition.

“Battle simulators were interesting. Much easier to play against an AI than another trainer.” She told JC, agreeing with her. “I haven’t had a chance to meet your fire dragon but I hope I can at some point.” She didn’t mention she too had a dragon, as she didn’t like to reveal her full team to anyone just yet. “Looks like everyone’s doing their own thing. I don’t think my team needs a check up.”

As the two of them returned to where the Rocket's were, they'd probably over hear them talking to themselves. One seemed to casually mention that the black hair'd boy looked a little familar to him, but he couldn't quiet place it. Nonetheless, seemed their radio's began to crackle to life as it informed them that their targets got away. So the Rocket members just left.

"We'll see how Fly Trap goes against the gym leader here," She said having looked at the information earlier about this gym, "Anyways, best get my team all healed up." So she heads to the Pokemon Center, along with the rest of the group. They got their team's healed as JC was ready to take on the gym.

The Nurse smiles at Bear and accepts his pokemon. Placing them in the machine to restore them to full health. After a jingle the Pokemon were back to fighting fit as she returned the Pokemon to him.

"There you go," She said, "We hope to see you again."
 
Luna took her time walking to the Pokecenter watching as Bear and his Piplup walk past her on their way to the same place still not noticing the Pikachu behind her, that was until Manny noticed and squealed at it causing the Pikachu to respond back to the Fomantis. "What's wrong Manny?" She asked turning around and seeing the Pikachu. Luna stared at it confusedly before crouching in front of him.

It called out happily to her before running up to her and Manny. "Did you follow us all the way from the forest? Why did you do that?" The Pikachu nodded before walking closer and pointing at Luna's bag. It took a moment but Luna understood what he wanted. "You came all this way for pokebeans?" She asked with a little laugh as the Pikachu nodded once again.

"Let me get my pokémon healed up then I'll give you some more." And with that Luna when into the pokécenter along with Manny and the Pikachu.

She saw Bear hanging out by the desk and waved to him before giving Joy Chestnut's pokéball. Once they were all healed she turned to Bear. "How's Piplup doing?" She asked while putting the pokéball on her belt and smiling.

After getting his team healed up Drew went to a wide open space. "Come out." He said as he let out all off his Pokemon. He had to train and get his team semi ready for the coming battle.
"Alright." He said right before Locke tried to ram . Curry got between them and slammed her tail into Locke's face.
Curry back off" Drew said. He knelt down and looked Locke straight in the eyes. He noticed a scar going down the right side of Locke's face "I know you don't want to be here." He said calmly. "I screwed you somehow and I am sorry for that. Help me beat this gym leader and I'll release you." He promised.
Locke jumped up and down as if to say yes.
Drew smiled "Alright Curry spar with Locke I want you to build up your speed." He said looking at Curry. Locke continue hardening to build your defense, and fire bullet seed at at Curry

Poli both of your long range moves can be easily cancelled out. I want you to start firing
one right after another in an effective manor. Tess hit me with every thing you have.
 
Esme noticed most everyone was leaving for the Pokémon Center, but her team did not require any aid, so she slipped her hands in her pockets and decided to step inside a small cafe next door and order herself a cold smoothie. It wasn’t unpleasantly hot outside but weather didn’t matter to Esme; she always needed to have an ice cold drink!

As she ordered, she thought about the days events. She didn’t really want to be wrapped up in so much drama. But she kind of felt obligated to pay attention and stick around now, with a Pokémon so powerful in the hands of someone like Altaria — who she didn’t know well at all, and should it be in the wrong hands Esme didn’t know what could happen. So she would watch and keep getting better and stronger with her team in case there were more attacks, or worse. She didn’t particularly feel close to anyone in the group but, she hoped they could at least all get along by the time they reach the gym.
 
JC finished getting her Pokemon all good to go and began to head to the gym. She figured that they'd each be taking turns at the Gym anyways, so she may as well do her turn already. Plus, it didn't hurt that she was feeling a bit anxious to battle the Gym Leader.

Eventually, she arrived as she headed on into the gym. There, she saw a receptionist looking area with a lady behind a wall off area as she smiled, "Here to take on the gym, or perhaps to watch?"

"I'm here to challenge the gym," She said with a grin.

"Very well, please slide your trainer card on the scanner out there," She said and JC did so. After a moment the receptionist looks to a screen on her area and nods, "Everything's good to go, and Brock's not currently challenging anyone so go right on in.

JC nods as she heads into the double doors of the gym and finds herself in the arena like area. There, Brock awaited her on the other side.

Altaira headed outside the Pokemon center after getting her Pokemon healed fully. She thought about the gym leader there and how he used rock types. She realized that Flair was at a huge disadvantage with that, yet she wasn't really sure of what to do except try to train harder. She thought about catching another Pokemon yet she wasn't sure what Pokemon to catch. Granted, it wasn't that she didn't know type match up, but she didn't just want to go and get a Pokemon just for some logical reason.

So, that's why Altaira found herself walking around Pewter City. Seemed most of the others went to train their Pokemon so, she wasn't really sure what to do just yet.
 
So, JC battled the gym leader and came out victorious. It was an interesting match, but didn't seem anyone was there to witness it. JC was excited to win but then noticed the stands were empty... granted, she wasn't sure what exactly to expect, since she didn't even think her group even knew she had gone to challenge the gym.

Though, that made her wonder some other things... as her mind was attacked by a few dark thoughts as she left the Gym. Did the others even care she was even there? Granted there was a time at the beginning as it seemed they did but after that... And, it seemed to her they just wanted to team up to get through Viridian Forest and they were past that now. Maybe JC wasn't really that important to the group, maybe she should just continue on, as she doubt the others would even notice she was gone.

This and other similar thoughts swirled around her head as she walked towards the Pokemon Center to get her team healed after the match.
 
Drew walked toward the center his team put on some great training atleast in his opinion.

He saw JC and waved. He frowned when it looked like she was down. He knew he could just walk away but he did agree to be one of her partners and he meant it. He wanted to know these people better.
"Hey you alright?" He said as he walked towards her.
 
Sam whistled as she looked at the fossils in the pewter city museum. She always wondered what it would be like to have a fossil Pokemon but hasn't really ever been given a chance. She looked across her shoulder and saw some guys staring at her, and a couple of girls. She chuckled wondering if they would still be staring if they knew what she really was.
Her original plan was to go to Viridian but the contest hall was shut down for some reason. So she made her way to Pewter and got here last night. She figured she'd spend a day here before making the long trek to curellian.

She continued to look at the fossils wondering what it was like thousands of years ago.
 
After getting Chestnut healed up she made her way out the pokécenter and back into the town. She quickly stepped to the side and released all her pokémon before pulling her lunchbox out. She handed all of them, including the Pikachu, one pokébean before putting the lunchbox away.

"Man...I'm going to run out of beans if you all keep eating so much." She said with a little laugh before calling her pokémon back "Maybe I can ask Angelo to send some." She said thinking outloud before squatting down to Manny and the Pikachu and petting them both.

"Would you like to come with us Pikachu? We won't be sticking around much longer, but if you tag along you can have pokébeans whenever you want. As long ad we have them." She said with a smile and the Pikachu responded with a nod while running around happily.

Luna smiled and picked up Manny before grabbing and empty pokéball and tossing it at the Pikachu. After three dings the Pikachu was successfully caught. Both Luna and Manny cheered before she picked the pokéball up and clipped it to her belt.

After getting that all settled she looked over and saw Drew and JC out infront of the center. And so, Luna made her way over to them waving as she approached them. "Hey, sorry for wandering off again. What have you two been up to?" She asked before glancing at JC amd notcing that she looked upset a bit. She turned to Drew before back to JC feeling a bit worried at her upsetness.

Koranna wasn’t very interested in watching the gym battles however she did notice the museum in Pewter city and thought why not? So she is currently browsing over the fossils in the museum. “Hey Fluffy do you think I’ll ever hold a fossil? I hope I can one day.” Koranna smiles as picked Fluffy and held him in her arms. Fluffy’s reply to Koranna was none other than a soft call as it rubbed his face against Koranna’s cheek. “C’mon let’s go check out and see how everyone did during their gym battles!”

As Koranna walked out of the museum she passed right by Sam she didn’t say anything but god did she feel like she already knew Sam. She could of sworn that she never met Sam before but it was kinda like deja vu. Was Sam mentioned before? Koranna turned looked away from Sam and kept walking, ignoring the awkward feeling she got passing by her. The moment Koranna got outside she went running to the Pokemon center figuring that everyone would be there. Jagson Jagson (note that Drew will be mentioned as well.)

Koranna noticed Luna eating with her Pokemon which reminded her of how hungry she was herself, however it wasn’t like her to ask for food unless it was offered. She did greet Luna with a smile as she walked past her. Fluffy didn’t like the idea of his owner walking right past food so Fluffy jumped out of Koranna’s arms and ran over to where he smelled food. Fluffy wasn’t shy it stuck is nose right in the food trying to see if he could eat any himself. Bloody_Death Bloody_Death

Koranna being scatterbrained didn't notice Fluffy running off on his own. “JC! How did you do on your gym battle?!” Koranna noticed her saddened face and she made a pouty face in response. “You know you shouldn’t be sad on a day like this. It is a good day!” Before talking anymore she noticed that Drew was also trying to help make her feel better. She went over to Drew, “Drew and I are always here for you if you need anything!” JCKane JCKane
 
As Luna made her way over, she gave a smile and a wave to back to Koranna watching her walk ahead. She went to follow her but was stopped when the girl's Eevee jumped out of her arms before running up to her. She watched as Fluffy dug his face into her bag right where her pokebean lunch box before letting out a little laugh. "It seems everyone is hungry huh?" Manny gave a little squeal before nodding. Luna pulled a pokebean out her lunchbox and crouched down to feed it to the Eevee. "Here you go." She said with a smile holding the bean out for him to eat.

JC looked up as three of the others came up to her and addressed her, apparently her facial expressions were betraying her as she was looking a bit melancholy

"Oh.. sorry, I'm fine," JC said doing her best to wipe the sorrow from her face, "... and yeah I won my battle. Though, figured it was about time for me to head on."

It was about that moment that Altaira returned to the group after her walk around town. She seemed to be holding a pokeball as she put it away before looking to the others. She wanted to take on the gym, but she also knew she wouldn't be able too until the others came with her. Oak's order's after all...
 
Luna smiled at the Eevee before putting her lunch box away. She walked towards the group motioning for the Eevee to follow.

Hearing that JC won her badge match was exciting and Luna happily cheered for her. "That's amazing! I bet you did great. If I knew you were going I totally would've been there to cheered for you." She said with a bit of a defeated laugh. "That's probably what I get for wandering away so quickly."

Drew smiled at JC "Congrats, you should've told me though. I would've cheered you on." He said smiling at her. He looked around and let out a breath. Anyway..." His voice was cut off as a shiny primarina pulled him into hug.

"... sorry, you guys looked pretty busy with what you guys were doing, " she said feeling a little better. She then noticed the Shiny Primarina hugging Drew. She wondered who's pokemon that was. Considering, primarina don't really live around here.
 
"Don't worry about it, there's always the next gym!" Luna exclaimed before jumping a bit at the sudden Primarina hugging on Drew. Its been a while since she saw one, let alone a shiny one. She glanced around a bit looking for any trainers or people who this pokemon might belong to.

Drew turned his head to look at the Primarina. "Sparkle?" He asked and the Primarina nodded. He smiled before hugging it back. He turned to look at the group who where probably wondering why some random Alolan Pokemon was hugging him. "This is Sparkle. He's my brothers." He's my brothers."

JC glanced around not seeing anyone else around, "Where IS your brother?" She asked. She didn't think Pokemon just wander away from the trainer's, unless said trainer was in danger. Which she was beginning to wonder that now, "Is he alright?" She asked more towards the Pokemon than to Drew.
 
Primarina" sparkle said shaking his head. He pointed towards the museum.
"He's fine." Drew said. "The princess trusts Sparkle not to get into trouble." He said as he petted it's head. "Unlike Sam Sparkle here gets bored easily when it comes to history."

JC was a bit relieved to hear that someone wasn't in danger yet that relief turned into confusion as she had to ask, "The princess?" she asked, "Who's that?"
