Drew's blood went cold as he heard that. He nodded slightly as he looked at her. "Alright I'll help keep it out of their hands. Of course I'll need to train up my so I don't get wiped repeatedly." He said trying to make the last part sound like a joke.

Altaira nodded, "Right... I'd really don't want to have to use it... but if all else fails.." She said part of her realized Drew was more joking but she also needed him to know that if they were backed into a corner, she would use the Pokemon. But for now, she returned the ball to her bag.

"Anyways... we should probably get out of here, before they send more," She said hoisting the bag back over her shoulder.

Esme listened intently, but when Altaria said it was time to get going, the blonde just nodded and started walking forward hoping to get out of the forest soon. She wasn't particularly worried about more battles, it was that the Rockets were said to have not played fair and she didnt think theyd had a change of moral since then. Especially now with whatver the red head had with her, which made Esme immensely curious, and also incredibly worried for the safety of her own team. If Altarias motives weren't good, she could potentially use that against them as well and while Esme was confident, she wasnt THAT confident. "Let's just get out of this forest," She sighed, returning elowen to her capsule but Grey continued to walk beside her.

Drew nodded as he started fallowing Esme. Though Tess and Poli were still out Curry seemed ready for whatever came next. He put his arms behind his back as he tried to make his way out

Esme looked to Drew and sighed, "You held your own well, sorry your pokemon got hurt in the process." Jagson

The group continued onward to make it out of the forest. JC reconvened with them and heard what happened.

"Dang, and here I missed it," She said with more a joke but she did kind of wish she was around.

Nonetheless, they finally reached the end of the forest.

Koranna was to busy distracted in the air to even noticed what hit the group. All she noticed was a huge explosion from the move self destruct and that team rocket invaded! It was like she simply blinked and everything was all over. Ace was flying Koranna down just as Altaria finished explaining the whole dangerous Pokemon thing. Koranna returned Ace to her pokeball and approached the group, “as long as am not getting myself killed traveling with you hopefully everything will be alright.” Koranna gave a fake smile of hope hiding the fact that she was mentally beating herself up at the moment. JCKane

Koranna sighs as she looked to the side, “overshadowed yet again aren’t I Isaiah?” Isaiah was Koranna’s oldest brother who was the brother that was ALWAYS teasing her, ALWAYS being the one to step in front of her, ALWAYS being the one to take a hit for her. When was it going to be her turn to save someone? Koranna gazed up at the sky noticing flying wild Pokemon circle around in the sky.

Maybe my brothers were right all along in saying that I can’t be a trainer I mean my first big shot and I miss it! Don’t worry Koranna you’ll have your shot just gotta keep being patient...But I have been for 18 years! Why all your always up in the clouds you damned idiot!

Everyone could tell that Koranna was deep in thought I mean she was sort of just staring at the sky right now s0...everyone just guessed that she was lost in her crazy mind.

Drew let out a breath. "It's alright, I'm new to battling wasn't really allowed to train when I was younger." He said leaving it at that. norway

He saw Koranna lost in thought. He decided to let her be figuring she wanted to be left alone. He exited the Forrest. A little while later In the distance he saw pewter city. Solarknight

Koranna noticed the city in the distance which made her smile a little but however she still seemed very distracted. With her mind currently battling unpleasant thoughts right now she wasn’t doing much for conversations however she was excited for the city. It’s been a little while since her Pokemon have been able to roam around in the city except well...Rainfell never roamed in one for obvious reasons.

Koranna released Fluffy from his pokeball allowing him to run into the light of the city, “Evee, Evee!” The small creature seemed to be so exicted to be at least near the city again only God knows how long it’s been since Koranna and her gang have been in an open city. “So how long are you staying here? Any contest around here?” She asked that before realizing- “Crap that’s right I couldn’t sign up for any!” Koranna pouted and in return Fluffy imitated his trainer. JCKane

"Let me check," JC said pulling out her Town Map and fiddled around with it, "Seems the next Contest Hall is in Cerulian Cape," She said, "Pretty sure you can register and all that at any Contest hall." She put away her town map.

"So then what's the point of being in this city?" Koranna looked around curios to see on what she would find. "I mean is there anything of importance to Kanto here we can visit? Fluffy and I love sight seeing." JCKane

"Oh, I dunno," JC remarked with a should be obvious to why they were there tone in her voice, "Just this special little place that people like to go to, because they hand out these shiny metal things called badges to trainer's who win against their Leader."

JC chuckles, "Nah it's fine," JC said, "Besides, even if you aren't interested in badges, it's a good rest stop before heading to Cerulean City. Faster to travel through Mount Moon, then going through Diglet's tunnel to Vermillion, then through Saffron... then again, Saffron DOES have a Contest hall too," JC shrugs her shoulders.

Drew walked towards the town as he did he couldn't help but feel like he was being stalked.
He stopped and looked around. He shook his head thinking he must be going crazy, and continued walking only to feel something slam I to his back. Drew fell to the ground feeling the pain.
He looked over his shoulder and saw a seedot staring at him. He stared back. It ran towards him. "Curry." He said as the seedot tried to hit him.

Curry fired an ember at it stopping it in place.
"What the hell." Drew thought as he looked at it. "You the same bastard that fell on me?" He asked. As he was talking he picked up his bag. One of his pokeballs fell out and rolled over to the downed Seedot. It clicked against the burned acorn and captured it. "Well shit." He said as he walked forward and picked up the ball. "Locke." He muttered. "He figured the name fit somehow

Altaira glanced back seeing that Drew had just caught a seedot, "So.. how many you got now?" she asked him.

Four" Drew said panting a little bit as he tried to straighten out his weakened back. "Though this bastard was by complete accident." He said as he looked at the pokeball. "It fell on me back in the Forrest than chased me out here to finish the job." He said before putting Locke into his bag. JCKane

"I see..." Altaira said as she got out her sketch book, and began to draw something on it.

Esme watched the group interact, staying a few paces ahead herself. They all seemed to get along quite well and she figured that was that natural chemistry some people had that made for great adventures. She wasn’t sure she would ever experience the same thing, but as they approached Pewter city she remembered it was the badges that were her priority right now. She needed to challenge Brock, and hoped for an actual challenge as she would be exercising her team quite hard. “We’ll be coming into contact with Brock soon, a heavy rock type leader. You think we got this Grey?” She asked rhetorically, to which the frog Pokémon gurgled in response. “Obviously we do.”

"Will be interesting to see how you do in battle," JC remarked to Esme, "I heard you defeated one of those Rockets with a single attack."

“Cause they weren’t coordinated,” Esme engaged with JC thoughtfully, “they were just attacking obviously. But gym leaders sometimes switch it up and I’ve heard everyone’s shifting their standards to be more of a challenge. I wonder if that’s true?” She asked aloud, “either way, if we lose we will try again. Believe it or not I plan on using kirlia —- she needs experience. But she can be so quiet I don’t always know right away when she is too tired to continue.”

"Yeah I understand," JC said, "Honestly, I've really only used Charizard so trying out some of my new Pokemon should be interesting. Though, I have done alot of battles on a simulator, but it's not even close to the real deal. Well, this one I expierenced from Orrie was pretty interesting but that's as close as it got."

 

[Bloody_Death]

Luna pulled out two different coloured beans. Chestnut, dispite its tiredness got up and quickly waddled to the girl taking the pokébean out her hand and eatting it happily. Once chestnut finished she called him back to his pokéball before looking back at the Pikachu.

It definitely seemed a bit calmer as it stared at the box of beans. Luna laughed a little and grabbed another bean holding it out for the Pikachu. The wild pokémon slowly came over before taking the bean and quickly eatting it. Luna smiled. She did want to catch the Pikachu, but she didn't know how he'd react if she tried to.

Once the Pikachu finished it sat on the ground in front Luna simply looking up at her a bit happily. She went to say something only to hear JC mention something about the others. "Well...we did stray apart from them for a long time. Let's catch up to them." She said with a smile.

She handed the Pikachu one more bean as it seemed to want another one before putting the box away. "Sorry if you got hurt in anyway." She whispered to the Pikachu before picking Manny up and tailing behind JC as they went towards the group. Little did Luna know, the wild Pikachu was following after them.

Once out of the forest Luna listened to the events that befell the other half of the group. "That sounds intense. Glad you all made it out okay!" She chirpped a bit as things could've gone way worse.

"I'm going to head to the pokécenter to heal up. I promise not to get lost again!" She said with a chuckle before running off towards the city. After a moment the Pikachu from before came out of the forest looking at the group before spotting Luna running off. The wild Pikachu ran past the group and contuined follow Luna to the pokécenter.

Bear decided to take Piplup to the Pokémon centre to be healed
“Let’s hope we can get some food and maybe call a relative after this”

Whatever retort rested unspoken on his tongue died when his attention was stolen away by the appearance of the group of R-bearing individuals. Silas took a step backwards, more relieved than ever that he'd decided to tag alongside someone else as he tentatively grabbed at Issac's sleeve as he followed him away from the oddly dressed men. Conflict wasn't necessarily one of his strong suits, especially not when alarm bells were going off in his mind. He glanced down at Absol who seemed antsy, walking in circles around he and Issac's feet. Whether to calm himself down or Absol, he wasn't sure, but he nevertheless knelt down and ruffled the Pokemon's fur.

"...Looks like your overpreparedness had some merit after all." The researcher admitted softly. "If it was an officer, I definitely would have bought it more." Relieved that they were in agreement, he rose to his feet and pulled Absol's Pokeball off his belt. "They were dressed... strange. I know I've seen people blocking off space for their personal use before, but the whole forest?" During his musings, he returned Spade and pulled out the other Pokeball. Soon after, a Fennekin settled on the ground, Silas bursting into laughter as the excitable Pokemon made his way inevitably onto his shoulders. As the black haired trainer was nuzzled by the Fennekin, he both seemed to relax and steel his resolve in that moment.

"Alright, Joker. You need to be quiet, okay?" He instructed, tapping the Pokemon on the nose before turning and nodding to his companion. "Lead the way. I'll have Joker here in case things go sideways. Luckily he tends to stay on my shoulders so we won't need to worry about an extra set of footsteps giving us away."
