Drew looked at them keeping a wide fake sme on his face. He repeated Alteria's name a few times as if to remember it. "Oh right I think she and her group decided to go threw Diglett cave wanting to take on that electric gym leader first. Isn't that right Tess." He said.
Tess nodded in agreement.

The guys looked to each other then back to Drew with a more darker tone in their expressions. Both of their hands took off a pokeball from their belts.

"Geeze kid you really need to learn your Kanto geography," The first guy said, "Diglet's Cave isn't until after the forest."

"Now, tell us where the rest of your little group is, or we'll make things alot harder on you," Said the other in a menacing tone.

 

[Jagson]

He mentally cursed at himself for that. He looked at them as Curry and Poli came out of their pokeballs. "Ice ball, Dragon pulse." He said as he kept eye contact with the men.
A ball of Ice formed as Poli blasted it towards one of them as a blue and purple beam fired at the other.

 

[JCKane]

The guys were quick off the draw as they released their Pokemon. One a Hypno while the other a Goldbat.

"Psybeam!"

"Air Cutter!"

The Pokemon launched their attacks as each hit the the opposing strike canceling each other out.

"Now, disable," Said Hypno's trainer as the pokemon looked to Cury and flashed with a strange power preventing the charmander from being able to use Dragon Pulse again.

"Confuse ray," Said the the other as a blinding light suddenly flashed around poli in an attempt to confuse it.

(I’m not entirely sure what happened while I was gone but I’ll try and catch up)

Bears Pokeball started shaking and he knew that Piplup wanted out so he let him out and he quickly ran around bear in circles 5 times before stopping, then bear picked him up and put him on his shoulder

Piplup really wanted to join in the battle
Bear: “no, u can’t join the battle, it’s another trainer not me”
Piplups sad expression told Bear that they should have a battle with someone
“Anyone up for a battle with me and Piplup”

Curry was barley able to doge the psybeam. Once she lost Dragon pulse she bit her lip. And stared at the hypno

Poli took the wing attack fallowed by become confused.

Drew let out a breath as he thought things over. He was up against a fully evolved Pokemon and a second stage. He had to think things threw and act carefully."Poli return ." He said knowing that'll get rid of the confusion. "Tess confusion on golbat" he said. "Curry use ember on Hypno and jump around."
Tess's eyes turned blue as it looked at golbat.
Curry started to jump around and blast small flames at Hypno periodically.

Once the group reached Viridian city Luna was quick to run into the pokécenter to heal up her pokémon along with buying a bit more supplies. A few potions along with a revive to make up for the one she used on Chestnut.

Once that was all over and they made their way into the forest, Luna did the first thing that came to her mind. Wander away from the group because she saw something cool and Manny also wanted to see it.

The first thing they noticed when they wandered off was a lot of rustling from a fairly large patch of tall grass. Luna and Manny went to approach it before a bolt of lightning struck the grass causing a bit of an explosion followed by a shriek from Luna and a squeal from Manny.

Esme sighed.

They’d barely made way through the forest before people started wandering — she couldn’t really tell them what to do other than it was a bad idea to go alone, then she supposed trainers did it all the time and it was a learning experience. “Head count, who's here so far?” She counted a couple people, and sighed. “Where’s Luna?”

That was when she heard a not too distant shriek, and pressed her hand to her face in exasperation. “I wonder what’s happening,” she said. “Grey?” The ninja frog popped out of his luxury ball, and was already lunging away into the wood, attempting to find any sign of conflict to keep an eye on. “Alright everyone please be mindful there are bugs nests here and their stingers are very toxic. There’s also a chance for a battle anytime so be weary.”

At the thought of potential battles, Esme thought now would be a good time to bring out Elowen. She had just recently evolved from a Ralts and while she was already quite a gem, more experience was always a plus. “Lady El, do come join us,” Esme beckoned, and the little kirlia manifested in a bright light from her pokeball. She was very quiet for the usual kirlia species, addressing everyone with a tilted head before looking to her trainer for the next move.

“Let’s go find someone worth a battle yeah?”

She shifted her satchel onto the center of her back, it was heavier now that she had tactfully stocked up for the travels to Pewter.

CHARACTER: Silas | LOCATION: Viridian Forest Outskirts | INTERACTIONS: Issac ( Rapror Augustine )​

Lingering on the outskirts of Viridian forest, Silas' gaze kept shifting from his companions face to the forest up ahead. He scrunched his nose up, familiar enough with the area from the chatter of locals to know that it was considerably easy to get lost within its labyrinth-like layout. Still, as unenthusiastic as he was about having to traverse through it without a guide this time, he was endlessly amused at how overly prepared Issac seemed to be. He pressed the back of his hand against his mouth and shook his head. Even from his usual place at Silas's hip, his Pokemon seemed just as amused as his trainer.

"Honestly, I'm not even sure I can fit another antidote in my backpack - did we really need so many?" Silas replied, motioned towards his mentioned, visibly protruding and stuffed full bag with a grimace. He didn't know which he felt sorrier for - his back for having to hold the weight or the bag itself for struggling to hold itself together and the contents within. Rubbing the back of his neck with one hand while gripping at the other Pokeball on his hip with the other, he took a deep breath and let a grin overtake his otherwise worried expression.

"Besides, I thought you were a trainer. Where's your sense of adventure?" The researcher hummed. "Let's go."

"Hypno, take the confusion."

The Hypno obliges as it jumps into the way of the in coming confusion attack, causing it to be hit instead of the Goldbat. He may have gotten hit by one or two of the ember attacks during the move but he still seemed good to go.

"Now, hypnosis!"

The Hypno began to wave it's pendulum in the direction of Tess as it's eyes began to glow, waves of sleep inducing energy flowed from the pokemon towards Tess.

"Aircutter to prevent a dodge!"

The Goldbat obeyed as it launched out an air cutter to the sides and above the Ralts so Tess would either have to take damage from the Air cutter, or take the hypnosis and fall asleep.

Before the two trainer's could enter however, five men wearing dark uniforms with R's on their chest stepped forward from the trees, clearly blocking their way inside.

"Sorry, boys, but this forest is closed for today," Said the one in the center, "You'll need to turn back."

Strangely enough they didn't seem to run into any other trainer's in the forest at the moment. Perhaps they were just else where or perhaps, something else was happening.

JC was with them as she spotted something a little further off where they were, "... I'll be right back," She said as she had seen a flash of yellow. Perhaps it was a pikachu and she was wanting one herself. So she headed over to where she saw the pokemon. Sure enough, it was a pikachu as she sent out Flytrap to battle it. A few wraps and sleep powder later, JC threw her pokeball and captured her newest teammate. Which was about when she heard the scream as she quickly recalled her bellsprout and headed to the source, soon arriving to where Luna was.

As for Altraira, she was with the bulk of the main group that hadn't split off just yet. She glanced over to Bear who seemed to want a fight with someone, but she didn't feel like battling at the moment. Besides, with alot of their group starting to split off, she didn't feel like getting left behind or something due to a battle.

Tess smirked as she teleported away from them. She reapeared behind the golbat before trying confusion again. Curry continued to fire embers in her jumping pattern.

He brought a more clear headed Poli back out. Drew and Poli looked at each other before Drew picked him up and threw him at the tree who's branches the grunts were under. Thinking some random Pokemon might fall down hurting one if his opponents.

The goldbat didn't have a chance to dodge the attack as it took the brunt force of the confusion. Not enough to knock it out but it was pretty damaging nonetheless. A few more embers found their marks to Hypno but it seemed to be holding find against them.

But before the men could usher a counter attack, Drew threw Poli into the trees above them... causing a mass amount of Metapod to fall down on top of them. The Metapod in question immediately began to use harden, which further helped pin them down. The Goldbat and Hypno seen this and abondoned the battle to help get their master's out of the pile of metapod. But it was no easy task.

 

[Rapror Augustine]

“Better to be overprepared than completely unprepared, especially if you’re going out into the wilderness, even more so if said wilderness is quite hostile.” Issac remarked but his attention was swiftly brought to the men in dark suits that had emerged from the woods and began telling them that the forest was closed for the day. It seemed incredibly odd as it was a public route, that and everything about these guys screamed crook in his mind. “Alright, I guess we’ll have to come back here tomorrow, though I think the folks at Viridian would have mentioned something like this.” He replied as he spun around and lead his companion away to a section of Route 2 the men couldn’t see them at. “Yea not buying that, a public route being closed without anyone from the closest town knowing about it is odd.” The black haired boy stated when they finally stopped and quickly unleashed his Zoroark from its pokeball. “So here’s what we’re gonna do. We’re going to use Shade’s illusions to sneak into the forest and figure out what’s going on, because this has be as much of an issue for the people of Viridian as much as it is for us.”

Seha (welp now its really time to have Issac’s trusty Zoroark to screw with a few numbskull’s perception of reality.)

Drew called back his Pokemon as jumped on his back. He ran as fast as he could to find his group after a few minutes he found most of them.

He breathed heavily as he looked at them. His eyes narrowed on Alteria. He walked over to her. "Hey Alteria can we talk in private." He had his usual smile on but it was clearly strained. JCKane

Altaira had noticed Drew come back towards the group breathing rather hard. He tried to talk a little more casual perhaps to not draw as much attention to the others. She had to wonder exactly what was going on. But figured she may as well.

"Sure..." She said as she began to walk with him when suddenly what looked to be a poisonous attack suddenly came towards Altaira's legs causing her to have to jump back to avoid the attack. That's when she quickly looked over to see a group of more men in the same attire as before. Black uniforms with red R's on the center of their chest. This time it was 5 of them as they were surrounding the group. Each of them out out a pokemon. Another Goldbat, a Raticate, an Arbok, a Koffing, and a Grimer, that seemed to have done the attack that nearly hit Altaira.

"... This isn't good," Altaira said more to herself than to the others.

Soon after Luna screamed a pikachu hopped out the smoking grass looking very irritable. "He looks angry huh?" She whispered to Manny as he nodded in agreement.

When JC came over Luna turned to her and smiled a bit before waving. "Oh, hey JC. Did uh...you hear me scream?" She said a bit sheepishly being a bit embarrassed. "This Pikachu just used a thunderbolt in the grass over there-" Thr girl was cut off by the pikachu doing another thunderbolt towards the two trainers letting out more of a growl than a call at the two.

JC quickly took a step back as the more aggresive pikachu sent a thunderbolt in their direction, "... Geeze, that Pikachu's mad about something," She said instinctively going for one of her pokeballs before calling out Flytrap.

"Tess." He whispered. "Teleported behind the koffing and use confusion." He got his other two Pokemon balls in his hand before looking at Altaria with a knowing look. "We'll talk later."He said as his smile disappeared. JCKane

When Tess attempted the teleport, suddenly, she was met with a blinding headache as her teleport failed to work. That's when one of the Rocket's chuckled as he held up a device in the palm of his hand.

"Can't be having you use that move," He said, "Else you could use it to try and escape."

"But, there's no more running," Said another menacingly, "So, Altaira, you know what we want. Now give it up."

Altaira takes a more defensive stance as she stares them down, her hand already grasping her Pokeball.

she saw a device. She would never put her team in danger when something like that is in the game. Her kirlia teetered And hid behind her trainers leg, not out of fear but out of wisdom. By now Grey had circled the forest after finding out Luna was in no danger, and Esme just hoped he was watching nearby should anything take a turn.

"I know right? Just before I think he was attacking a group of pokémon earlier with his first attack." She said pulling out chestnut's pokéball calling him out.

With the Pikachu seeing the two pokémons the pikachu got in a more offensive position ready to fight.

"Well, he's all yours, if you want him," JC said having called out her pokemon incase the Pikachu was going to be a little more aggressive towards them.
