Louis looked over at Rachel. "Well, we can do whatever you want as long as it's safe!" He then looked over at Jennifer. "Yep." He then went to make some pancakes.

~Rachel woke up in a small yellow tunnel in the park, with a hopeful smile on her face. She reached into her big back pack, looking for her cigs, after a few minutes she found them, lightning one up quickly. Taking a sigh of relief as she exhaled the first hit, laying back, so no one could see her she smoked her cig in peace. She loved the park even thou it was cold at night and lonely~

"Quinn, hurry it up! We gotta get going!"


Mae picked up the list, grabbed a granola bar and headed towards the door.

~She laughed and smiled as she put her cig out, still on her back in the tunnel. She thought to herself What am i gonna eat today? even thou she was in a bad place, she smiled and enjoyed the little toddlers looking at her from here swings. They pointed at rachel smiling, that only got het noticed, she grabbed her 3 bags filled with cloths and a spare pair of shoes and ran~

~she ran to the gas station, asking for a cup of water. She was tired and hungry. Her stomach growled as she trailed around her 3 bags, drinking a small cup of water~

"Quinn you don't have to go you can just a stay with us while Mae goes grocery shopping!" Rachel then sat down and waited for the others to leave.

"I'm going. I'm not staying here with all you little insufferable kids." She huffed as she ran toward the door, leather jacket in hand,"Coming, Mae!"

Louie rolled his eyes. "Whatever. We can have fun here." He said, still making pancakes for breakfast.

~she slipped on her head phones sitting on a bench outside the store, it was cold but they didn't want her inside.~

Passing Jenny, Mae kissed the top of her head. Even though she wasn't Jenny's real mother, she felt a motherly love towards the little one. Then she and Quinn were out the door.

Arriving at the store, the two passed by a girl sitting on a bench. When they were inside and far enough from the entrance, Mae posed the question


"Did you see that girl outside? Do you think...maybe...?"

Quinn shrugged,"I don't know. Probably, judging by the bags of clothes." She ran a hand through her hair,"Can you ask someone if their homeless?" She grabbed a basket, walking toward a random aisle. "What do we need anyway?"

~She couldn't help but shake as she looked for another cig, looking at random people smiling. She never asked for anything that could be offered to her. She was a good theif and didn't care at times, her heart got in the way sometimes. If your starving what can you do?~

Mae paused a moment.


"Do you think you could find some of the items? I'll be quick. I promise."

~Rachel stood up lugging some of her bags, letting them drag as she made her way to the edge of street. Her smile was bright as she put her hair up thinking positive thoughts I can go to the pizza shop, they will share

"Yea I got it." Quinn smiled and walked off down and aisle. Whistling to herself. "Okay, so pickles..."

Mae swiftly walked back out and caught a glimpse of the girl turning the corner. She quickened her pace and turned the corner right as the girl went into the pizza parlor. This is where she finally caught up.


"Excuse me, but...do you have no place to call home? Pardon my asking, I just saw that you seem to carry everything with you."

" um yah " she looked down lying to the seemingly kind woman, her stomach screamed at her as she now looked up. Do i tell the truth, what can she do about it, send me back home, she finally looked up at her with kind eyes. " no achully " she fixed her strap ti fit as comfortable as she could on her shoulder, the bag was heavy~

"I have a place that welcomes all youth 20 and under. It is called Sanctuary. We'd gladly accept you if you do indeed have no place to go. We have shelter and food."


Mae gave her a reassuring smile.

" food? " she practically dropped her bags as she thought about eating, it had been 4 days since she ate food. " Can i really come " she smiled with excitement, she had a little girl attitude, she never got to be a kid~

Mae picked up a couple of the girl's bags.


"I'm Mae by the way."

~" Do i get a bed ?..i mean i don't need one...oh yah my name is rachel may " her voice was sweet and kind, with a hint of smokers voice. She spoke fast and with a nervous tone to her voice, playing with her hair as she looked at the kind lady. ~

"Your own bed? Rach, you get your own room! Come on. We'll go help my friend Quinn finish shopping. And when we get back to Sanctuary, you can go pick which room you want."

" ok " she stood beside her now with a cute smile on her face, rachel never liked people, only baby. she's sweet was the only thought in her head as she waited for her next move~

Mae led the newest member of Sanctuary back to the store to meet up with Quinn. They found her on the cereal isle.


"Hey Quinn. This is Rachel. She's coming back with us to Sanctuary."

~she took a step back from the girls, not knowing if the other girl was friendly. rachel was very untrusting, it surprised her that she came mae at all.~
